Young Scooter Calls Out NBA For Saying Future’s Son Is Russell Wilson’s, Fans Roast Him Back

Future and Ciara have been split for just about 10 years now. However, the ex-lovers seem to be forever linked at this point. It has to be a little frustrating for Russell Wilson and the R&B legend to have to hear about the Freebandz founder in some shape or fashion. It does not help that they had one child together, Future Zahir Wilburn who is now nine. Future took some scathing shots at the soon-to-be former Denver Broncos quarterback on the “Turn Yo Clic Up” with Quavo. Now, Young Scooter is calling out the NBA calling his labelmate’s son Russell Wilson’s instead.

The reason for Young Scooter doing this is because the nbaonespn Instagram account posted a video of Russell Wilson and Zahir at the All-Star weekend festivities. Their account captioned the clip, “Russell Wilson and his son rockin’ Kobe All-Star jerseys.” That prompted Young Scooter to respond with, “That’s not his son.” However, this immediately backfired on the veteran Atlanta rapper.

Fans were quick to pile on him for not calling out Future not holding up to his standards of being a co-parent. “The homeboys of the deadbeats be more offended than the deadbeat himself ” Another similarly adds, “Umm calling him out but not your deadbeat friend is nasty work.” Other commenters who are on Russell’s side go after the people saying Scooter was right. “I’m sorry would yall like Russell to exclude this child from his other children? Imagine him constantly pointing out he was his step son while calling his kids with Ciara his kids. Wouldn’t that make the child feel ostracized? I want critical thinking skills BACK IN SCHOOL !!!!”

NBA YoungBoy has shared of series of pictures of himself posing with his kids in matching outfits on Instagram. In the caption, he remarked: “Aye ask where the rest my kids at.” His post comes after making controversial comments on fatherhood on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, last month.

At the time, Kev praised him for appearing to be a good parent, but YoungBoy took issue with the compliment. “I’m not really big on it to be honest,” he admitted in response. “This is a crazy topic because I’m not the type to sugar coat nothing, but I’m four walls everyday.” Expectedly, he faced plenty of backlash online for the remark.

Charlamagne Tha God was one of the many voices to criticize YoungBoy for the admission. In turn, he labeled him his “Donkey of the Day” on The Breakfast Club. “He has 11 kids, but in his words, he’s ‘not really big’ on fatherhood,” he said. “NBA YoungBoy is treating fatherhood the way the NBA’s Nikola Jokić treats the NBA. You ever hear Jokić talk about basketball? The same level of don’t-give-a-eff that Jokić has about basketball, NBA YoungBoy seems to have about being a father to his 11 kids. Moreover, folks spotted a recent tweet that he liked on the social media platform that suggests he thinks there’s a division between the quality of their parenting skills. “Men care about the upbringing of children more than women do,” the message read, and some fans weren’t happy at all about this. Not only is it a debatable statement, but fans think the rapper should be doing a more overt job of supporting the singer and actress on social media.

Furthermore, this is probably going to cause a lot of debate among fans on whether this even means what they think it means. After all, DDG’s entitled to like whatever he wants to like on Twitter, and he could see it as something that doesn’t relate to Halle Bailey specifically. Still, we can’t deny that it’s not the best look, even if it’s the result of overt digging for juicy and scandalous developments. In a new installment of TMZ Investigates, which airs on February 5, experts share their thoughts on KimYe’s co-parenting dynamic. One of them, a Professor of Psychology at the University of Michigan Dr. Kevin Cokley, suggests that Kim should make it clear to the kids that they can love their father without agreeing with everything he says. He thinks that having a conversation with them to explain that some of Ye’s comments are unacceptable is crucial.

Expert Claims Kim Should Have A Talk With Her Kids

Another expert to weigh in, psychiatrist Dr. Kyle Smith, argues that Kim simply can’t protect her children from everything, despite her inevitable desire to do so. He also notes that since Ye’s their father, unless he’s doing something unimaginable like locking them up in a “bunker,” there’s not much she can do to keep him away from the children. Smith claims that when having kids with someone like Ye, chaos unfortunately just comes with the territory.

On the bright side, Kim and Kanye at least appear to be on speaking terms these days, though from what the public’s seen their interactions have been less than warm. They were just spotted attending their son’s basketball game together last week, and even exchanged a few words, despite sitting several seats apart. The Baltimore native lost upwards of 200K followers on Instagram after showing off her bold new ink. For the most part, Chrisean Rock has refused to respond to the internet’s questions about her infant son’s health. Some are certain Junior suffers from Cri Du Chat syndrome, a genetic condition that wouldn’t have been caused by any irresponsible behaviour during pregnancy. Elsewhere, others argue that the 23-year-old was reckless while carrying her first child, potentially resulting in FAS or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Regardless, the Queens rapper had a pretty simple but important suggestion that he thinks is crucial for the singer’s successful parenting life. “You just gotta love ’em, man,” he told the cameras. “Tell ’em you love ’em every day. That goes far!”

Meanwhile, Ja Rule is among many folks online who weren’t really surprised by Ashanti reconnecting with her flame Nelly. “You can tell sometimes when women -– they want that old thing back,” he explained on The Tamron Hall Show recently. “I don’t want to blow sis up. But the chemistry was there. And I think for both of them it came back quick. So I think they missed each other. It had to be that way because of the way they just clicked and came back so fast.”

DDG Proves He’s “Super Dad,” Makes Baby Halo A Bottle In Seconds

Following months of relentless pregnancy rumors, Halle Bailey and DDG announced they had welcomed their first child at the end of last year, Halo. While adjusting to parenthood is certainly no easy task, the pair appears to be taking it in stride. Since announcing baby Halo’s arrival, they’ve been met with plenty of support from fans and peers, and even decided to make the newborn his own adorable IG account.

Luckily, it looks like they’re also having fun with the adjustment, as evidenced by a new clip of DDG. The rapper and YouTube star took to social media earlier this week to flex just how fast he was able to snap into dad mode, preparing a bottle for Halo at record speed. He looked pretty proud of himself too, turning the task into an amusing challenge. “World’s fastest bottle maker super dad,” he captioned the clip.

“[Halo’s] crying, watch how quick I make this bottle,” he sats the clip before urgently filling the bottle with water. He then put a couple of scoops of formula into the bottle, closed it, and began shaking it vigorously. Once it was ready, he brought it over to baby Halo, immediately silencing his cries. “Baby stops crying,” he declared with a smile. This is far from the first time fans have seen DDG take pride in fatherhood, however, as he shared some sweet words about Halo’s arrival on his YouTube channel earlier this month.

But fans quickly came to her defense to point out how little anyone actually knows about her personal life.
