Chrisean Rock is back with her son Chrisean Jr. after her release from prison, which has been an absolute joy for the family. Even though there’s still a lot of controversy around her and her on-and-off-again boo Blueface, it’s still been very wholesome to see this process and enjoy a more positive outlook for once. Moreover, in a new social media clip, Junior adorably kisses his mom, and one of the most liked comments in the Instagram post below sums it up pretty well. “He missed her for real. He knew she was gone. Damn.” Amid a lot of other distressing and tragic headlines these days, this is at least a heartening moment in a typically more salacious story.

Furthermore, this is a moment that many fans can be happy for regardless of context, as Chrisean Rock’s other online antics have tarnished her name for some. But whatever happened in the past doesn’t justify people attacking her right now or making light of her circumstances and emotional return home. As for the little one, the Baddies star recently revealed that she changed his name. His middle name is now Jesus and his last name is Porter, officially connecting him to his dad Blueface by name.

But did a recent UFC broadcast really have to go to this extreme to make that idea true? Moreover, a recent event saw the television team confuse superstar boxer Terence Crawford for K.Dot. The “Watch The Party Die” lyricist actually had the following line on “euphoria”: “I’m Terence Crawford, yeah, I’m whooping feet.” However, even though a lot of people laughed at this coincidence and manifestation of his predictions, they still launched accusations of racism against the organization, which is understandable.

Maybe we’ll never get an explanation for this viral mishap. Either way, this wasn’t the only recent tinfoil hat reach (that may or may not be true) concerning some of Kendrick Lamar’s latest moves, an unsurprising tendency given all his lyrical depths in his Drake disses and beyond. For example, folks connected his Super Bowl halftime show announcement to his diss tracks, pointing out some of the lyrical nods and other similarities. Many continue to dismiss these readings, but at the end of the day, their intentionality doesn’t change how these connections resonate with fans.

Terence Crawford Is Kendrick Lamar?

Playboi Carti celebrated his birthday a day late in New York on Saturday (September 14), but the city apparently did not have a fun gift for him. Moreover, he took to his Instagram accounts to claim that the NY Police Department shut down his party in Brooklyn for unknown reasons. Although, Carti did allude to a massive crowd at it, which you can see in a video clip down below. “NYPD SHUT ME DOWN,” he wrote on his Instagram Story. “I TREID SOOO HARD TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU TONIGHT THE MUSIC WAS ABOUT TO BE INSANE I WAS OUTSIDE THE WHOLE TIME THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD LOCK ME UP IF I GOT OUT THE CAR ITS MY F***IN BIRTHDAY WTF.”

“TBH YALL DID YALL THANG 10,000 PEOPLE OUTSIDE VENUE ONLY FIT 3K PD FOLKS TRYING LOCK ME UNFORTUNATELY THANK U NEW YORK. Elsewhere, Playboi Carti was recently at the center of a fan debate and discussion thanks to when he posted some private DMs between him and Lucki. Yesterday, Nicki took to Twitter/X to announce that she’d be making an appearance at the DTLR shoe store at a local mall today. It’s unclear what he was doing in NYC, but the clip surfaces shortly after he was hit with another lawsuit.

Diddy Remains Silent As He’s Swarmed By Fans

Earlier this week, Dawn Richard sued him for alleged sexual and emotional abuse. She accuses him of belittling her, along with several other female Making The Band contestants. Richard also claims to have witnessed Diddy’s alleged abuse of Cassie on several occasions. His attorney has since released a statement in response to the allegations, denying any and all wrongdoing on his behalf.

“Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. Over a rage-ready F1LTHY beat, the Atlanta creative does his best Future impression according to many fans online, which may or may not be a deal-breaker for you. Still, it goes too hard to not shout it out for a try.

Elsewhere, we also got The Pre-Party on this Fire Emoji update, a two-pack of posthumous Juice WRLD singles ahead of a rumored album release. “Lightyears” with Young Thug is a mellow, emotive, and guitar-backed trap ballad that shows off their vocal chemistry and has a characteristically catchy chorus. On the other hand, “World Tour (Aquafina)” is a more lively cut that plays with the late Chicago icon’s earliest sonic explorations. Seeing this duality pop up again was a welcome treat.
