Passenger Plane In Brazil Falls Out Of The Sky In Horrific Video

Sometimes you have to see things to believe them, and unfortunately the video you are about to watch is real. However, if you are sensitive to danger, you may want to avoid it. A dreadful clip of passenger plane in Brazil plummeting into a fiery explosion is going viral online and according to multiple reports the results are devastating. ABC News is one of the first to confirm that all 62 (58 passengers, four crew members) people onboard lost their lives Friday, August 9. At the time of writing, no one is sure what led to the Voepass aircraft crashing. However, the details on the plane are that it was a 14-year-old, two-engine, ATR 72 model.

In terms of when the unexplained accident occurred, local authorities are saying around 1:28 p.m. local time. The Voepass airline said the plane was traveling from Cascavel, Brazil, and heading over to the Guarulhos Airport, which is close to Sao Paulo. As you can see from the bystander’s video, the plane was traveling down at breakneck speed and spinning out of control. People in the comments section are citing that an engine could have stalled and that there was not enough altitude left for the pilots to try and land it more safely.

62 People In Total Were On This Plane In Brazil

Other videos and photos on social media and in other news articles show the where the plane nosedived and became engulfed in flames. Federal police are citing it was near a residential building in Vinhedo, a city outside of Sao Paulo. One of its residents was hurt, but no other deaths are reported. HNHH is sending our thoughts and condolences to all of the families and friends affected by this unthinkable tragedy.

TI Breaks His Silence On Recent Arrest

T.I. went through some legal turmoil recently, as authorities reportedly arrested him in what might be a case of mistaken identity. However, after TMZ caught up with him in Beverly Hills on Thursday (August 8), fans now know that he doesn’t feel too pressed about it. “They was just doing they job,” the Atlanta legend remarked to the interviewer about his brief run-in with the police. “Upset by it? I try to get rid of emotion and deal with the facts at hand. So once you deal with the facts at hand, your emotions ain’t involved. I don’t know, man, I mean, it sucks to say man. But at least this time, man, it was minor injury, maximum lesson learned. It’s all good. I have no interest in politics, y’all be good.”

“This case highlights a concern that the State’s Attorney has raised previously and uncovers legislative changes that should be considered to ensure fair and appropriate use of the court commissioner’s office, including allowing input from our prosecutors before an arrest warrant is issued,” a Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office representative expressed concerning the T.I. case. “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the issuance of charges and the warrant in this case.” There are still some doubts over whether this incident involved mistaken identity, though, as a woman accused him and Tiny of physical assault and harassment.

Speaking of T.I. and Tiny, the court recently dismissed a lawsuit against them alleging sexual assault. “The court agreed with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe doesn’t appear to have any viable claims,” a spokesperson for the couple relayed to AllHipHop. “As Tip and Tameka stated three years ago, these allegations are some of the many false, salacious allegations [in] the media in a cheap attempt to extort money from them.”

“All the claims asserted in the Complaint are time-barred because the statute of limitations for such claims has long expired over sixteen years ago,” T.I. and Tiny’s attorneys posited. “Further, notwithstanding the fact that Defendants Clifford Harris (‘Mr. Harris’) and Tameka Harris (‘Mrs. Harris’) (collectively ‘Defendants’ or ‘Harrises’), deny that any of the alleged conduct even occurred, the Complaint fails to allege facts to sufficiently establish any of the claims alleged in the Complaint.”

Still, there’s a lot of ink on Kanye West’s alleged control of Bianca Censori in their relationship, a concerning and common narrative. “Kanye now exerts total control over Bianca’s life…” a source allegedly close to the couple told The Jasmine Brand. “He films her from every angle before they go out…Then he critiques her body right down to her private parts. Of course, take all these claims with a grain of salt, as they come from unconfirmed sources and don’t provide any sort of proof. Also, when it comes to this outfit stuff, it’s not like Bianca Censori hasn’t covered up in public before, so looking at their bond through only their style will only get you so far. Hopefully all these rumors and speculative reports aren’t as accurate as some fans treat them online. After all, the allegations are much more harmful than just fashion choices.

Drake Swoops In To Save Italian Soccer Club From Going Bankrupt

Over these last few days, Drake has been the talk of the town. After going silent following the Kendrick Lamar battle, aside from some lackluster guest performances, he shook the hip-hop community’s foundation in a good way. Out of the blue, he dropped off over 100 GB of files via 100gigs.org. On the site, there are hundreds of files that include BTS footage across the last several years, alternate album covers, and three new songs. “It’s Up”, featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Red Blue Green”, and “Housekeeping Knows” with Latto, were all included. The first of them sees 21 and Drizzy potentially firing off shots at Lamar and A$AP Rocky, adding more drama to those feuds. Now, Drake is taking more W’s by helping an Italian soccer club financially speaking.

According to TMZ Sports, Venice’s Venezia FC team is a big deal, having been around since 1907 and a force in the Serie B division. Unfortunately, though, due to the dishing out the big bucks, they have slowly been suffering. Because of this they have been staring bankruptcy in the face and have been close to dropping down to Serie D. So, with them running out of options, Venezia FC’s owner, Brad Katsuyama asked Matte Babel for a massive favor.

These two are close friends, and Babel happens to be a part of Drake’s team, specifically the Chief Brand Officer and on the management team. “He laid out the problem, simply — Venezia needs to raise ten million euros in a couple weeks, and then at least thirty million euros in a few months, or the club will go bankrupt”, Babel said. So, him, Drake, and Katsuyama were able to work things out. Apparently, in about two weeks, all three men were able to negotiate a $40 million donation through a handful of North American investors. Now, Venezia FC is doing much better. TMZ says that new talent and facilities are in the works with the investments looking to be finished by the 2027-2028 season.

TI & Tiny’s Sexual Assault Case Gets Dismissed Without Prejudice

TI has seen his fair share of legal drama in recent weeks. Luckily, the trap pioneer has taken home at least one win. Last month, he and his wife Tiny filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit from an anonymous woman. She accused them of drugging and sexually assaulting her in 2005. According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, it was approved, meaning that the case was dismissed.

“The court agreed with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe doesn’t appear to have any viable claims,” the pair’s rep told the outlet. “As Tip and Tameka stated three years ago, these allegations are some of the many false, salacious allegations thrown out into the media in a cheap attempt to extort money from them.”

TI and Tiny have denied the allegations since the suit was filed. Olympic Breakdancing Gets Clowned Online For Some Really Bad Moves

Breakdancing is one of hip-hop’s five pillars, and seeing it at the 2024 Olympics in Paris is quite the wild sight for the culture and art form as a whole. Sadly, this global exposure and reintroduction in the popular societal sphere probably won’t make you very happy if you’re bummed out about people forgetting about this pillar more often than not. That’s because a lot of these displays proved to be pretty cringe according to social media’s comically unimpressed reactions. Many of them took aim at a particular b-girl Raygun, although other Olympians also caught strays and jokes about their efforts.

Still, a lot of Olympics fans and viewers found some truly worthwhile and engaging performances during these breakdancing one-on-ones. Even though most of what’s going viral is the more seemingly embarrassing fare, just like with every other event, there’s always something special to witness. Hip-hop’s had a pretty eventful presence in these games this year, with Snoop Dogg pretty much being the poster boy for a lot of it. Surely, more closed and centralized hip-hop circles have a lot more to say about this breakdancing.

Fans Aren’t Impressed By Breakdancing At The Olympics

Elsewhere, artists like Pharrell think that the Olympics should reinstate their arts competition. “We get to remind people that at one point, the Olympics actually had the arts as a section that ran all these competitions,” he expressed at the event’s Louis Vuitton party. “Sculpture, architecture, visual arts. The idea we get to put the arts back in… Why not take this moment to bring awareness?” The LV creative director referred to the five medals awarded in fields of music, painting, architecture, literature, and sculpture from 1912 to 1948. Breakdancing is definitely a start, although it seems like they didn’t kick off on the best foot this year.

Meanwhile, there are other Olympics-slash-hip-hop moments that were perhaps not as embarrassing as some breakdancing, but were nonetheless not the typical display you’d see from the genre. This includes Travis Scott and Quavo’s impromptu performance of the U.S. national anthem. Huncho Jack and Jack Huncho were giving it their all, but if they had a mic in front of their hands, it would be a pretty bad performance. But they didn’t mean to take over a Super Bowl stage with it, so let’s let them be proud hip-hop stars and at least make the jokes funny and not mean.

Yung Miami Admits Her Label Told Her She Hasn’t Grown As An Artist

Yesterday, Yung Miami gave her fans what they had all been waiting for, a new episode of Caresha Please. The mogul switched things up for the season two premiere, however, as she was the interviewee. Her longtime friend Saucy Santana asked her various pressing questions about her career, former relationship with Diddy, and much more.

Of course, at one point in the episode, he also asked her where she currently stands with the other half of City Girls JT. According to her, she’ll always see the “Okay” performer as family, but things simply weren’t meshing anymore in the studio. Yung Miami has instead released a couple of solo singles in recent months, but supporters have been eager to hear more. She says that while she’s submitted new material to Quality Control, it hasn’t come out because the label feels like there’s been a lack of growth.
