Drake Drops “No Face” On Streaming Services, But There’s A Disappointing Catch

The second wave of “100 GIGS” content is following its predecessor’s lead: drop some songs on IG and bring them to DSPs little by little. However, Drake’s new tracks have also fallen victim to some big changes and plan shifts during this process, and streaming didn’t even have to be a factor for this to happen. For example, when we heard a CDQ version of “Supersoak (SOD)” via the @plottttwistttttt IG burner account, we realized that it no longer featured Lil Yachty as that track’s original leak did. Now, we have another example of this. The Boy dropped the well-received “No Face” on streaming services on Saturday (August 31), but Playboi Carti is no longer on it.

Furthermore, this is pretty disappointing and mysterious, as there’s no identifiable reason as to why the Atlanta rage exponent isn’t on the track anymore. But it’s not like he washed Drake on the track. Playboi Carti’s contributions were already just a minimal hook, and his collaborator definitely steals the show with his verses an energy. Still, we can’t help but think back on those Atlanta bars on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and how they have aged somewhat poorly. Some name-dropped artists like Quavo support Drizzy to this day, but even though Carti escaped K.Dot’s mention this time around, this is objectively a failed attempt to get a few dollars, even if the reasoning behind the collaboration falling through probably has nothing to do with the beef or with the “colonizer” argument. At least he dropped “Circadian Rhythm” on DSPs…

Drake Drops A Playboi Carti-Less “No Face” On DSPs

In other Drake news, KAYTRANADA recently revisited the topic of why the OVO camp never reached out to him again to produce for Honestly, Nevermind. “[KAYTRANADA] was approached at a Coachella after-party in L.A. to make beats for Honestly, Nevermind,” a Vulture interview with the producer read. “Though he says it would have been ‘an honor,’ he later overheard that it fell through because his casual response — ‘Sure, hit me up’ — lacked fawning enthusiasm.” “Was I supposed to be like, ‘Oh my God, for real? Drake?’ I’m not like that,” he added.

Even though Drake hinted at this Playboi Carti collab landing on streaming in its full form, it seems like that didn’t work out. Or at least, not yet. It’s still possible that he will update more of these releases in the near future. After all, part of the strategy right now is hitting DSPs once the Internet takes these tracks for a test run and builds hype to influence its release methods and circumstances.

Vybz Kartel’s Ticket Prices For Homecoming Show Spark Major Debate

Vybz Kartel recently got out of prison after spending 13 years behind bars, and he hasn’t wasted any time getting back to work. The performer recently announced his first post-prison performance, which is scheduled for December 31 at Jamaica National Stadium. Of course, his supporters are eager to celebrate with him. Unfortunately, however, some believe that tickets are priced far too high.

For reference, tickets start at $125 USD for bleacher seats, $300 for grandstand seats, $400 for the infield standing area, and $1500 for center stage. There are also two additional tiers starting at $10K that offer attendees luxury viewing pods. The prices have sparked a major debate in The Jasmine Brand‘s comments section, as fans discuss whether or not they’re worth it.

While some argue that the prices are steep, many are coming to Vybz Kartel’s defense, noting that it’ll be a historic show. “He’s simply making up on some lost money!” a supporter writes. “They coming from all over the world and Japan to see the world boss. He know his worth,” another claims. Others aren’t buying it and would prefer to watch clips from the performance from the comfort of their own homes. “Hell no,” one Instagram user says. “How much parking lot going for?” someone else jokes.

Many also point out that these prices aren’t out of the ordinary for major artists, and that it’s likely he doesn’t have control over them. Either way, he’s sure to garner a huge crowd, as the performance has been a long time coming. What do you think of Vybz Kartel’s ticket prices for his upcoming New Year’s Eve show sparking a debate? Do you think they’re priced too high, or are social media users simply overreacting? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Woman Says That Kanye West “Telepathically” Told Her To Steal A Car

If you read this story, you may not hear of anything that’s wilder than this. According to The Neighborhood Talk, a woman is claiming that Kanye West spoke to her telepathically to steal a car. Her name is Ricki Smith, she’s 28, and she hails from Kentucky. This all went down yesterday morning in Evansville, August 30. Smith arrived near a store and when she did, she attempted to break into multiple vehicles in a parking lot across from a store. The man who owns the shop saw Smith’s suspicious behavior and went over to confront her.

She was able to get into a car on her second attempt and the man attempted to get her out, but to no avail. Then, another woman, who runs the same store as the man, got involved and yanked her out. The heroic woman who got Smith removed from the vehicle pressed charges because she was on her way to take her child to daycare, and they witnessed the debacle go down. Obviously, this is a wild story on its own, but the fact that Kanye West is somehow involved with this story really takes it over the top.

As we stated, the woman said that the rapper had told her to commit this crime telepathically. Outside of the rest of the story, this was even more of a reason for police to take Smith into custody. However, it’s worth noting that she was traveling to Evansville from Louisville when her car broke down due to it being in a crash. That means that Smith hitchhiked all the way to Evansville. It’s possible that Smith sustained some sort of injury that led her to claim these things about Kanye. She’s currently at Vanderburgh County Jail awaiting her charges, according to The Express Tribune.

What are your thoughts on this woman claiming that she speaks to Kanye West telepathically? Is this the wackiest thing you’ve ever heard someone say? Do you think it had to do with her getting into that accident beforehand? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Chrisean Rock’s Prison Release Date Revealed

Chrisean Rock has dealt with her fair share of legal issues this year, but recently, her fans got a hopeful update. She was arrested in June of this year at one of Blueface’s court hearings. Reportedly, she had a warrant for alleged assault with a deadly weapon, and she was later sentenced to 30 days in a California jail. After that, she was extradited to Oklahoma, where she faces charges of “possession of marijuana with intent to distribute” and “possession of a controlled dangerous substance.”

Earlier this month, it was revealed that she could be facing up to eight years for her alleged crimes. As one would expect, her fans were heartbroken, particularly for the sake of her infant son. According to her Baddies co-star Natalie Nunn, however, she may be getting out far sooner than many expected.

Azealia Banks Randomly Eviscerates JT Over Her Music & Fashion

If you’re a big enough celebrity, then it’s almost guaranteed that Azealia Banks will either praise you or – as happens most often – drag you online. Moreover, she often goes on unprovoked rants about many superstars, which is completely fair and understandable when it’s just her unfiltered opinion. But the rapper can also puzzle her fans with her targets, and all this animosity for no reason hasn’t nurtured the healthiest online presence. Nevertheless, her latest target is JT, who faced a scathing rant from Banks on Twitter this week after she came across the Florida native’s remarks on Foxy Brown and her presence in fashion.

“[A TikTok about me] said, ‘We haven’t had a dark-skinned girl killing it in fashion since Foxy Brown,’” JT recalled during a recent interview with Essence. “It gave me the chills. It makes so much sense. It’s no shade to nobody else.” “JT… sis, you’re absolutely not killing it in fashion or music nor was foxy ever killing it in fashion,” Azealia Banks reacted. “Lil Kim is the alpha and the omega. And This boob job is the most unfashionable thing ever. Its f***ing horrible please undo it.

Azealia Banks’ Rant Against JT

“Plus quit with the dark skin s**t,” Azealia Banks went on concerning the former City Girl. “Like what the hell does that even mean anymore. Just because some gays are taking ur money to put you in neon green lipstick and blonde wigs doesn’t mean youre fashionable sis. the real fashion girls actually don’t see it for you, like at all. They think you look ‘heavy.’ Lol.” Perhaps we will never know if something else provoked this rant behind the scenes, but the most likely scenario is that she just woke up on the combative side of the bed and JT happened to be the target this time around.

Meanwhile, Azealia Banks doesn’t always just bash other celebrities. She also gives out her own stamp of approval, as she recently did by making her own remix of Tinashe’s “Nasty.” Sometimes this homage can come across as backhanded, but we can’t always assume that someone is hating. Hopefully we get more examples of admirable tributes instead of unprompted attacks.

50 Cent Reveals Why Feud With Rick Ross Will Never End

It’s no secret that 50 Cent and Rick Ross don’t get along, and according to Fif, their feud won’t be coming to an end anytime soon. He opened up about the longstanding beef during a recent appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast with Gillie and Wallo, explaining why it seemingly never ends. He claims it’s because Ross won’t get the kind of attention he’s looking for without mentioning him, whereas he makes headlines regardless.

“Nothing else works for him,” he began. “Outside of mentioning me. When things get bad, he mentions me, it gets covered… I get covered across the board, they get covered on the hip-hop blogs. It is what it is.”

50 Cent Claims Rick Ross Won’t Get Covered Unless He Mentions Him

50 Cent continued, suggesting that Ross may not be as wealthy as he lets on. “What kind of rich n***a cut his own grass?” he wondered. “You tryna save money, n***a?” While he appears confident in his simple explanation, Ross has other ideas. He took to DJ Akademiks comments section on Instagram to throw some more shade. “Cuban Link,” he wrote alongside a broken heart emoji. For those who don’t recall, 50 Cent and Cuban Link dated for several years before breaking up a few months ago. In July, she was spotted with Travis Scott, prompting fans to wonder if things were heating up between them. Upon hearing the news, Ross wasted no time.

He took to his Instagram Story to clown 50 Cent, announcing that he’d be setting his Louis Vuitton shoes to the side for the time being in favor of Travis Scotts. What do you think of 50 Cent claiming that his feud with Rick Ross never ends because “nothing else works” for Rozay? Do you agree with him or not?
