Kyle Richh Of Rap Group 41 Drops Party Banger “Trick”

It is crazy to think that about a year and some change ago Lil Uzi Vert shocked the world with “Just Wanna Rock.” It somewhat revived the Jersey club sound with its viral accompanying dance. The song could turn any boring party into a rager. Producing genius MCVertt was the main man behind it all. You know when that “Project, Project, X, X, X” producer tag comes in, it is about to go down. He is behind what is bound to be another hit song inspired by that sound called “Trick,” by 41 & Kyle Richh.

The latter names hail from Brooklyn, New York, and they specialize in drill as well as some Jersey club. 41 is a rap trio that is made up of Kyle, as well as TaTa, and Jenn Carter. “Trick” is an exclusive Kyle Richh track, but the fact that 41 is included, has us feeling like this could be a future album single. That is all speculation, but keep that in the back of your mind.

Listen To “Trick” By Kyle Richh & 41

41 was last seen on a nonstop banger with fellow drill superstar Fivio Foreign called “Get Deady (Offa Pill).” The group has gotten so big that they even got to perform with Travis Scott during his Circus Maximus tour stop at MSG. Members of 41 have also been seen working with Sleepy Hallow among others. “Trick” is not as aggressive as “Get Deady,” but this is a party song for sure. The rumbling but low-key bass paired with Richh’s deep flows are great together. Check out the song above on YouTube.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Trick,” by Kyle Richh and 41? Is he the best member of the drill trio, why or why not? Do you think they will drop an album sometime this year? Are they the best drill artists right now? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Pressa And Toosii Flex Their Success On “W Hotel”

Canada and North Carolina talents have just merged to bring a perfect track for those chill late nights. Pressa and Toosii, two rappers who have been in the game for about 13 years in total are meeting for the first time. Their respective abilities have formed a new single called “W Hotel.” For both of these auto-crooners, this is the first single that they have been a part of in 2024.

For Pressa, the Toronto native, this is his first track since November of 2023. Back then, he dropped a solo cut called “Pressalicious,” another chill and dance-ready vibe. This song may make a nice comeback for the summer of 2024 because its release during the winter just did not fit the timeline. On the feature side of things, Toosii is returning after dropping “IDGAF.”

“W Hotel” is a song about wealth, girls, and street life. Nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever topically, but it gets the job done. The best part about the cut is the beat. However, fans seem to like it. Pressa shared a post from Spotify on his Instagram showing how many streams it racked up since its release just yesterday. At the time of the post, it was already over 63,000 streams. Maybe you will enjoy it more than us. Go give it a try with the link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “W Hotel,” by Pressa and Toosii? Is this a duo you need to hear more from in the future, why or why not? Which artist had the better performance and why? Is this going to be a hit song for 2024? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Erick The Architect And WESTSIDE BOOGIE Are Looking Out For Themselves On “Instincts”

Erick the Architect is cooking up a special album in the making and it is only a few weeks away from its release. One-third of the Flatbush Zombies is gearing up for just his second full-length in his extensive career. Erick’s first tape dropped back in 2018 and it was called Arcstrumentals, Vol. 2. While he only has one other body of work to compare this new one to, we believe this is destined to be an improvement.

The Flatbush New Yorker has put out a healthy amount of singles to tease I’ve Never Been Here Before. You can mark your calendars for February 23 to check out the 16-track offering. Erick’s most recent taster was “Ezekiel’s Wheel,” a woozy and jazzy cut featuring George Clinton. Presumably, “Instincts” will most likely be the last one we get before the album.

Listen To “Instincts” By Erick The Architect & WESTSIDE BOOGIE

If that rings true, what a note to leave off on. Erick and Shady Records signee WESTSIDE BOOGIE team up for a meditative exercise that has them paying attention to their surroundings. The introspective track sees the two lyrical MCs take into account what people and or things are damaging their mental health. They are gaining new “instincts” to avoid these pitfalls that are holding them back from succeeding. BOOGIE and Erick both bring great verses over a smooth and calming beat. This may be the best one of the bunch. However, we cannot say that too confidently seeing as how every one of them has hit so far.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “Instincts,” by Erick the Architect and WESTSIDE BOOGIE? Is this the best track from the upcoming album so far? Out of all of the Flatbush Zombies members, where do you rank him out of the trio? Are you excited for his next album? Should Erick and WESTSIDE work together again? Flyana Boss Are Craving Sweet Treats On Their New Single “Candyman”

California boasts a lot of interesting rap personalities and Flyana Boss is in that mix without a doubt. The colorful duo of Bobbi LaNea and Folayan have been in the game since the turn of the 2020 decade and they like to drop bangers of all sorts. One of the more recent songs we covered of theirs was a remix of “You Wish.” That featured one of the greatest female MCs of all time, Missy Elliott, and Kaliii.

In fact, that was the last we spoke of them. But, we are glad to announce their next appearance on the HNHH site. However, before we get to that, let us recap what got them to drop “Candyman,” their newest single. “B**** Imma Star” immediately followed “You Wish (Remix)” and that one is a rauchy banger with all sorts of bounce and interesting lyrics. “Big One” is another fun is a big and bold braggadocious cut that also makes a clear sexual innuendo.

Finally, “UFHO (Unidentified Fly-a** Ho)” is a futuristic spaced-theme bop that also makes some hilarious tongue-in-cheek references. In case you have not caught on, Flyana Boss is all about being quirky and a little sex crazy. That is why “Candyman” is not a surprise to us. This time, the insinuations are related to everything sweet. It is a blast to listen to if you enjoy wild bangers. You will be rolling around on the floor to all of the comparisons they make.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Candyman,” by Flyana Boss? Are they the most entertaining femcees from the West Coast, why or why not? Is this their best song in recent memory? 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE Has Another One With “Silence STArEs Me Down” Featuring Rich Brian & Cuco

1999 WRITE THE FUTURE, an ever-growing hip-hop collective that is overseen by 88rising and RCA Records, is showing why they belong. It formed in late 2023, but its impact is already being felt. Rich Brian has been a big reason why it is quickly spreading like wildfire. Since he is tied to the 88rising label, the Indonesian multi-hyphenate has been placed on a handful of tracks already.

Every single one he has been on has brought its unique energy. The first of which was “WORLD STOP TURNING” with Warren Hue and Zion.T. It was also the inaugural 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE song. Then, he, Rick Ross, and redveil worked together for “LiGhT rAiLs.” Perhaps the biggest banger from Brian and 1999, redveil brought a tremendous beat with chipmunk soul vocals woven into the production.

Now, he is back to promote this exciting set of collaborations with indie/bedroom pop singer Cuco. “silence STArEs me down” is a somber track about loneliness and not being able to take on the world with someone you love. Cuco brings a simple, short, but catchy chorus that has an earworm of a melody once you hear it. “And I know that if I really try / I can bring myself to make it right / I just gotta understand what’s happenin’ when silence stares me down.” Brian and Cuco also did a karaoke-style performance of the track, so be sure to check that out as well.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “silence STArEs me down” by 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE, Rich Brian, and Cuco? Is this the best track that 1999 has come out with so far? Icewear Vezzo And DaBaby Share Why They Are “Perfect”

Icewear Vezzo and DaBaby are repping the Midwest with pride on their brand-new single and first-ever collaboration. “Perfect” is the latest single to be shown off from Icewear’s forthcoming record, Live From The 6. The project is slated for a February 2 release, which is next Friday. This will be the Detroit native’s first album since his 2022 LP, Paint the City (Gangsta Grillz) [feat. DJ Drama].

On this cut, Vezzo and DaBaby are rapping about how they are “perfect” even with all of their missteps in life. The headliner spits on the chorus, “Street n**** but I’m perfect (B****, I’m perfect).” DaBaby does a great job sticking to that theme with some of the opening bars from his verse. You can find some of them below.

Maxo Kream Drops Hedonistic Anthem “Bang The Bus” With Evilgiane

Most Texas rappers are known for their druggy and woozy sounds. That is what Maxo Kream is bringing tenfold on his latest single, “Bang The Bus.” It is a nearly three-minute sexual journey that details Maxo’s sexual fantasies. He makes pornographic references on the pre-chorus. “Persona Money Gang, come hang with us (Uh-huh) / Porno flick in the Sprinter van, you can bring your friends, come bang the bus (Bring your friends).”

This track follows up his collaboration with Florida up-and-comer, Luh Tyler, “Whatchamacallit.” Maxo Kream brings a smooth and lower-register flow over an airy and dreamy beat from evilgiane. This is someone who you will see a lot here on HNHH. Over the past couple of weeks, we have highlighted the New York producer for his recent single “40” and his latest album #HEAVENSGATE (VOL. 1).

Listen To “Bang The Bus” By Maxo Kream & Evilgiane

The New York producer can bring your conventional trap beats, or something off-kilter. His unpredictability may be his greatest quality and that shines through here. “Bang The Bus” also shouts out Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Sexyy Red. But, with a sexually-charged song like this Maxo does not make the most flattering remarks. Go give the track a listen though, it is a unique one for sure.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Bang The Bus,” by Maxo Kream and evilgiane? Where do you rank Maxo amongst Texas-born rappers and why? Is evilgiane the best up-and-coming producer in hip-hop right now? Is an album bound to drop soon? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Shenseea And Masicka Talk About Sneaky Links On Di Genius-Produced “Hit & Run”

27-year-old Kingston, Jamaica native Shenseea returns just two months later with a brand-new single. The reggae specialist is not alone on this one either. She teams up with two fellow Jamaican stars for a single all about one night stands. Shenseea usually drops pretty sensual tracks most of the time. However, the song she put out two months prior was a switch-up from that.

Shenseea and Lola Brooke went off on “Beama,” a more braggadocious rap cut. While it still had a hint of reggae thrown in for good measure, both were all business. From puffing their chest out about their status to their wealth, Shenseea and Lola were uber-confident. That self-assurance trickles its way into “Hit & Run” in a little bit of a different way.

This track definitely stays more on the reggae side of things. Shenseea’s verse sees her talk about how she does not want to be held down by a man. “You think you coulda get inna my feelings? (Nah) / You couldn’t get me fi sekkle down (Sekkle down).” Masicka then gives the male perspective on his portion. Seemingly, he is the one who is trying to get into a relationship with Shenseea. But, that is not what she is looking for and she feels good enough about herself that she does not need a partnership right now.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Hit & Run” by Shenseea featuring Masicka and Di Genius? Where would rank this amongst the rest of her most recent tracks? Russ Takes A Different Direction On New Single “Drives”

Prolific Georgia rapper and singer Russ is already back with a new single for his fans. You may not find another artist who is willing to drop this much material so frequently anywhere else. Still just 31, the multi-hyphenate could go down with one of the largest catalogs of all time at this rate. Russ’ newest venture sees him take more of a singer-songwriter approach with “Drives.”

This track follows up on his December 22 single “Said It Freestyle” which saw him go the more traditional rapping route. All in all, it was a solid effort, but nothing too different creatively. Russ is known to crossover at times and break away from the mold he has put himself in. That is what he does here.

This cut is about a relationship that is severely on the mend with both of them dealing with their own problems. Russ brings some high-pitch vocals to the chorus. However, they just do not hit the right way. On the other hand, the lyrics are pretty decent and the production, also handled by Russ is pretty plain jane. It is a middling effort for us, but let us know what you think.

What are your thoughts on this on this brand-new single, “Drives,” by Russ? Will this be the best single he drops this year, why or why not? Do you like this type of music from him? Does Russ receive too much hate as an artist? What was your favorite project that he dropped in 2023? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. Lil Yachty And YUNGBLUD Work Perfectly On First Song Together With “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)”

“Tonight worlds collide… it sounds like heaven. Close yer eyes n get soaked in it.” Those were the words of English multi-hyphenate singer YUNGBLUD on a recent Instagram post. He and Georgia rapper Lil Yachty flicked up together to announce their first-ever collaboration together. The new track is called “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?).”

For YUNGBLUD, this is his first offering since October 17, 2023, when he came through with “Happier.” It was part of a trio of tracks he put out that year with the other two being “Hated” and “Lowlife.” For Lil Yachty, this just continues his incredible run as of late. This past year or so has been an eventful one for the 26-year-old.

He took a pretty big jump to the psychedelic rock space with his Let’s Start Here. record back in January 2023. That venture has opened so many doors for him as it allows Lil Boat to make an easier transition to other styles of production. “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)” is a perfect example of that. It is a gorgeous piece of rock/alternative that you will get lost in but in a good way. Yachty whips out the “Poland” vocals and they match beautifully with everything going on.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?),” by YUNGBLUD and Lil Yachty? Is this a duo you need to hear more from, why or why not?
