Kyle Richh Of Rap Group 41 Drops Party Banger “Trick”

It is crazy to think that about a year and some change ago Lil Uzi Vert shocked the world with “Just Wanna Rock.” It somewhat revived the Jersey club sound with its viral accompanying dance. The song could turn any boring party into a rager. Producing genius MCVertt was the main man behind it all. You know when that “Project, Project, X, X, X” producer tag comes in, it is about to go down. He is behind what is bound to be another hit song inspired by that sound called “Trick,” by 41 & Kyle Richh.

The latter names hail from Brooklyn, New York, and they specialize in drill as well as some Jersey club. 41 is a rap trio that is made up of Kyle, as well as TaTa, and Jenn Carter. “Trick” is an exclusive Kyle Richh track, but the fact that 41 is included, has us feeling like this could be a future album single. That is all speculation, but keep that in the back of your mind.

41 was last seen on a nonstop banger with fellow drill superstar Fivio Foreign called “Get Deady (Offa Pill).” The group has gotten so big that they even got to perform with Travis Scott during his Circus Maximus tour stop at MSG. Pressa And Toosii Flex Their Success On “W Hotel”

Canada and North Carolina talents have just merged to bring a perfect track for those chill late nights. Pressa and Toosii, two rappers who have been in the game for about 13 years in total are meeting for the first time. Their respective abilities have formed a new single called “W Hotel.” For both of these auto-crooners, this is the first single that they have been a part of in 2024.

For Pressa, the Toronto native, this is his first track since November of 2023. Back then, he dropped a solo cut called “Pressalicious,” another chill and dance-ready vibe. This song may make a nice comeback for the summer of 2024 because its release during the winter just did not fit the timeline. On the feature side of things, Toosii is returning after dropping “IDGAF.”

Erick the Architect is cooking up a special album in the making and it is only a few weeks away from its release. One-third of the Flatbush Zombies is gearing up for just his second full-length in his extensive career. Erick’s first tape dropped back in 2018 and it was called Arcstrumentals, Vol. 2. While he only has one other body of work to compare this new one to, we believe this is destined to be an improvement.

The Flatbush New Yorker has put out a healthy amount of singles to tease I’ve Never Been Here Before. You can mark your calendars for February 23 to check out the 16-track offering. Erick’s most recent taster was “Ezekiel’s Wheel,” a woozy and jazzy cut featuring George Clinton. Presumably, “Instincts” will most likely be the last one we get before the album.

If that rings true, what a note to leave off on. Erick and Shady Records signee WESTSIDE BOOGIE team up for a meditative exercise that has them paying attention to their surroundings. They are gaining new “instincts” to avoid these pitfalls that are holding them back from succeeding. BOOGIE and Erick both bring great verses over a smooth and calming beat. 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE, an ever-growing hip-hop collective that is overseen by 88rising and RCA Records, is showing why they belong. It formed in late 2023, but its impact is already being felt. Rich Brian has been a big reason why it is quickly spreading like wildfire. Since he is tied to the 88rising label, the Indonesian multi-hyphenate has been placed on a handful of tracks already.

Every single one he has been on has brought its unique energy. The first of which was “WORLD STOP TURNING” with Warren Hue and Zion.T. It was also the inaugural 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE song. Then, he, Rick Ross, and redveil worked together for “LiGhT rAiLs.” Perhaps the biggest banger from Brian and 1999, redveil brought a tremendous beat with chipmunk soul vocals woven into the production.

Icewear Vezzo And DaBaby Share Why They Are “Perfect”

Icewear Vezzo and DaBaby are repping the Midwest with pride on their brand-new single and first-ever collaboration. “Perfect” is the latest single to be shown off from Icewear’s forthcoming record, Live From The 6. The project is slated for a February 2 release, which is next Friday. This will be the Detroit native’s first album since his 2022 LP, Paint the City (Gangsta Grillz) [feat. DJ Drama].

On this cut, Vezzo and DaBaby are rapping about how they are “perfect” even with all of their missteps in life. The headliner spits on the chorus, “Street n**** but I’m perfect (B****, I’m perfect).” DaBaby does a great job sticking to that theme with some of the opening bars from his verse. Shenseea and Lola Brooke went off on “Beama,” a more braggadocious rap cut. While it still had a hint of reggae thrown in for good measure, both were all business. From puffing their chest out about their status to their wealth, Shenseea and Lola were uber-confident. That self-assurance trickles its way into “Hit & Run” in a little bit of a different way.

Prolific Georgia rapper and singer Russ is already back with a new single for his fans. You may not find another artist who is willing to drop this much material so frequently anywhere else. Still just 31, the multi-hyphenate could go down with one of the largest catalogs of all time at this rate. Russ’ newest venture sees him take more of a singer-songwriter approach with “Drives.”

This track follows up on his December 22 single “Said It Freestyle” which saw him go the more traditional rapping route. All in all, it was a solid effort, but nothing too different creatively. Russ is known to crossover at times and break away from the mold he has put himself in. That is what he does here.

This cut is about a relationship that is severely on the mend with both of them dealing with their own problems. Russ brings some high-pitch vocals to the chorus. However, they just do not hit the right way. On the other hand, the lyrics are pretty decent and the production, also handled by Russ is pretty plain jane.
