BONES Releases Dark Track “Peroxide”

Prolific rapper BONES is back with his trademark sound on a new cut called “Peroxide.” Not much is known about him since he generally keeps a low profile, but there is some information about the Howell, Michigan native. The now 29-year-old rapper was born on January 11, 1994, and now resides in California. As stated earlier, BONES pumps out tons of new material. He was just a 16-years- his first mixtape in all the way back in 2010. That was enough to convince himself to drop out of school and pack his bags to Los Angeles. From there his career took off and he has not looked back.

Since then, BONES has put out over 70 albums and projects, including hundreds of music videos, while also wrapping up four national tours in 13 years. It is certainly an impressive feat but it does not stop there. On A$AP Rocky’s 2015 album AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP, he landed a massive feature credit on the fantastic cut, “Canal St.” Rocky sampled the beat from “Dirt,” a big song from BONES’ 2013 mixtape Scumbag, earning more attention. Now, he is back with more material with “Peroxide.”

BONES bodies this dark and cavernous production. With the flows on point with a sometimes whispery effect, it adds to the atmosphere. It is a short song, running just under two minutes. Unfortunately, it leaves the ears hanging because it felt like there could have been another verse but it should satisfy his fans.

To be honest, redveil might already be in the star conversation. With his jazz rap-inspired beats and wicked lyrical ability, he is a force to be reckoned with already. If he wants to he can get into his aggressive trap bag as well, which is exactly what he does on his new song “DRAMA (Freestyle).” He is all business on this cut getting braggadocious and hyping up his originality. Redveil Has Got Next

Right away redveil comes into the mic hot with bold claims with a trunk-knocking beat and soul chop. He says that he is basically one-of-kind and no one can really top him. Redveil also takes shots at other artists for putting on fronts that they original when really they are biting off others. The youngster has already earned the respect of Tyler, The Creator, and others in the industry, and he is sure to gain more of it very soon. With the rap collective Odd Future being a big influence, he is also being compared to others like Denzel and JID too, and for good reason.

Doja Cat Confuses Fans With Another Surreal Instagram Post

Doja Cat is no stranger to making her fans scratch their heads, in fact she did it earlier today. In that strange post, she shared pictures of herself with fans that had clearly been pretty heavily edited. Those edits includes layering pics of herself on top of each other, altering the background of pictures to scary imagery and placing random sequences of animals over top of it all. The response was appropriately confused from fans. Though despite their confusion many who have been fans for a while are more than used to this kind of content from Doja.

As it turns out, one post wasn’t enough for today because she followed it up with a second, similarly strange video. The short looped clip shows four Doja Cat’s layered on top of each other placed in front of a glitching background. It also features overlays of cats, dragons breathing fire, and people dancing all over the screen. The post is a pure assault on the senses but some fans were loving it. “This old school doja right here,” reads one of the top comments. “she’s returned back 2 her roots, this is my sh*tposting president,” another agrees.

Recently, Doja Cat started a small war with some of her fans over. She disliked that they call themselves “Kittenz” and disavowed the name. As a result many of her fans rebelled, changing or deleting fan accounts dedicated to her music. She lost a few hundred thousand Instagram followers as a result but that didn’t seem to phase her.

In an interview following the beef she had with her own fans she didn’t seem to mind it much. Doja Cat said she “feels free” after losing a ton of her most dedicated followers. Lil Durk Tells His Fans To Expect A Feature Run

Chicago-born rap star Lil Durk is on a great run of big moments in 2023. Back in May 2023, he dropped his massive album Almost Healed after all of the health struggles he had been battling up until and through the release of the project. He called on some of the biggest artists across all genres including J. Cole for their hit “All My Life.” It is a fantastic anthem about making it to the top through all the adversity and of the most inspirational songs of the year without a doubt. He also nabbed features from the likes of Alicia Keys, country megastar Morgan Wallen, a posthumous verse from Juice WRLD, Future, and many others.

Durk earlier this month is also helping those who are less fortunate in his community. He along with his Neighborhood Heroes foundation, has assisted the Chicago youth with financial literacy classes. Therapy sources are also available as well so he truly has been doing a lot for his career musically and philanthropically. With all of that winning, Lil Durk seems to be more ready than ever to hop back onto other artists’ tracks and body them as he has done for years.

Iggy Azalea Announces New Song Dropping Very Soon

Earlier this month Iggy Azalea announced in a now-deleted tweet that she had new music coming in August. While some fans thought that the tweet being deleted may have meant they were no longer getting a new single, but Iggy put that speculation to rest with an Instagram post earlier today. She made sure that her fans wouldn’t have to wait much longer before hearing new music. “Have you ever seen five bad b*tches at ya door?! Clear your schedule for August 25th,” the caption reads.

In the comments Azalea’s fans are happy not only that new music is on the way, but that it will arrive very soon. “it was time to dance again with your songs,” reads one comment. “our mother does not surprise us,” declares another. Fans also pointed out how much they loved the art for her new single. The art she posted features a bank robbery-like scene with Iggy in a glittery black and silver dress and surrounded by money. “Your covers are always mad iconic, love that for you Iggy,” reads one of the top comments on the post.

Iggy Azalea found herself in hot water earlier this month when she sent a letter to Tory Lanez amid his trial for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. She insisted that the letter wasn’t in “support” of anything and merely expressed her thoughts on what punishments people deserve. But once it was published online many fans interpreted it as a show of support for the controversial rapper. This new single marks her first major public outing since the letter controversy and Lanez’s sentencing.

It currently sits at around 162 million Spotify streams and was a quirky banger for its time. Unfortunately, that was the last material the group put out and it might be too late for a resurgence, or could it?

Well, in a recent sit down with GQ, frequent collaborator to Pharrell Wiliiams, Tyler, The Creator took the time to talk about their insane jewelry collections as well as how they stay influenced on the creative side of things. During that part of the conversation, the superstar producer gave readers a peek behind the curtain so to speak about new music with N.E.R.D.

Pharrell Spills The Beans

Pharell says, “I’m out here in Paris.” I just ended up doin’ twelve N.E.R.D records.” He continues to tell Tyler, “Listen, you’ll have something to ride to. I mean, look, like I told you, they’re big choruses, but you know, out of nowhere, I’ll just come out of nowhere with the three-bar, crazy-nuts chords that go three-bar to four-bar to eight-bar.” It sounds like very intriguing material that the producer and rapper says reminds him of their first record In Search Of… This is not the only music we are waiting on now, though, so this could be a Pharrell takeover hopefully in the near future.

Burna Boy And Dave Collab For “Cheat On Me”

The Afro-fusion expert Burna Boy is here with his seventh new single of 2023. This track is called, “Cheat On Me” and it was just released on August 22. It features the likes of Dave, the UK rap phenom that has blown up this year. The two have previously worked together on Dave’s smash hit “Location.” That track appears on Dave’s 2019 album PSYCHODRAMA, and it currently sits at over 456 million plays on Spotify. With that being said, it is no shocker that these two feel they can make another fire song in the studio.

Burna Boy might just have done it again with “Cheat On Me.” This new cut is very mellow and fun with a chipmunk soul-inspired production. The high-pitched vocals are on the intro and chorus, “Ah, and I couldn’t see, I was cheating on, cheating on me.” It also has Burna’s signature Afro-type rhythm that is very pleasing to the ears. Both he and Dave deliver emotional verses about having the finer things in life while being with those they care for the most.

There is also footage of the two performing on stage at a concert together. That is always a nice sight to see and it pairs well with the vibe of the track.

Gucci Mane & J. Cole Join Forces For Mike WiLL Made-It-Produced Single This Friday

1017 leader Gucci Mane has had an impressive summer of new music so far. In June, he and Lil Baby came together on “Bluffin.” This was followed the next month by “Married with Millions.” Of course, we can’t forget his clever play on one of the most popular films in theatres right now with “Woppenheimer,” as well as the more recent “Now It’s Real” and “Broken Hearted.” Most, if not all of these titles will appear on the Southern star’s upcoming Breath of Fresh Air album. Alongside them will be a J. Cole collaboration that was announced on Tuesday (August 22) morning.

“My diamonds go brrr it’s a Cole world @realcoleworld ,” Gucci wrote on Instagram earlier today. “Dropping Friday ,” he added. In the accompanying image, we see the lyricists hanging out in a white room together, both looking confident with elements of red incorporated into their stylish outfits. While the North Carolina native and his friend will be handling the bars on “There I Go,” they’ve tapped Mike WiLL Made-It to assist them with production.

The sound engineer has been busy over the past few months. Ahead of last weekend’s New Music Friday (August 18), he joined forces with Lil Uzi Vert to make music magic on “Blood Moon.” It’s set to appear on LUV’s upcoming Barter 16 project, which will follow hip-hop’s first No. 1 album of the year, The Pink Tape, from the Philly native.

J. Cole is still cooking up things for The Fall Off, however, the Dreamville head honcho has given out a handful of noteworthy features to other artists in recent months. After that, Crooked said he was going to write this song for him because he believed that he can win his battle against addiction. Sure enough, he did, and its a touching but aggressive banger that gets you hyped and feels like you can conquer any inner demons.
