DDG Smacks Sukihana While Filming NLE Choppa’s New Movie: Watch

If you didn’t already know, NLE Choppa recently released his new film project, Nightmare on Cottonwood, and it’s a doozy. Moreover, it stars a lot of viral stars: Funny Marco, Kai Cenat and Fanum of AMP (who Choppa recently went to “prison” with), and most notably for this story, DDG and Sukihana. Furthermore, a new behind-the-scenes clip shows the cast and crew in which the rapper, in ghost form, smacks Suki from behind. After the scene wraps, you can hear them and a lot of other team members break out in laughter, and it’s heartening to see them have a good time.

In fact, this is far from the only recent screen exploit that Sukihana enjoyed recently, although the other one is definitely more contentious. She recently joined the cast of Baddies East as a replacement at Natalie Nunn’s request, and it was chaotic to say the least. Still, that wasn’t the Delaware native’s fault, as a lot of other moving pieces made it a hectic episode. What’s more is that she was one of three additions, which all had their own storylines and feuds to handle on the Zeus Network program.

Sukihana & DDG Have A Ball While Filming Nightmare On Cottonwood: Watch

On the other hand, Sukihana’s costar DDG might have just found a new venture with this film stuff. After all, it seems like music- or hip-hop, at least- isn’t inspiring him like it used to, especially as he gains more career aspirations, exposure, and more. On Saturday (November 4), the YouTuber and MC asked for more rock-and-roll beats, labeling rap as “dry” and in need of a revamp. Maybe that’s a bit too much to handle for purists, but that’s the advantage that the genre has over any other musical offering: hip-hop can find inspiration and sonic innovation anywhere.

Meanwhile, NLE Choppa also might be tapping into the TikTok NPC livestream world, expanding his media presence. It didn’t go super well with PinkyDoll, but hey, there’s always next time. Though countless people are sure to tune in for the moving true story alone, the film also features a very special guest.

Bad Bunny appears onscreen as a drug dealer named Felipe, who seems to be crushing on Armendáriz. When he fails to make a move on the wrestler himself, Armendáriz takes things into his own hands. The duo share an onscreen kiss, though Bad Bunny’s character cuts things short. Fans are living for the steamy moment, and making their thoughts known on social media.

He opened up about the romantic scene in an interview with Time earlier this year, sharing how he was able to take on the role. Bad Bunny says he felt comfortable with his character, and was eager to follow the script. “If you’re acting, you’re being someone you’re not,” he explained. “So when they asked me for that, I said, ‘Yes, I’m here for whatever you want.’ I think it was very cool; I didn’t feel uncomfortable.”

Jay-Z Returns To Instagram To Promote New Movie

Jay-Z is serving as the executive producer on an upcoming new movie called The Book Of Clarence. The historical fiction period piece stars LaKeith Stanfield as a man who goes on his own quest for religious divinity inspired by Jesus. Fans are talking about the movie now because Jay-Z returned with a whole new Instagram account in order to promote the film. His account has already racked up over 33k followers in just a few hours with the post itself over currently sitting at over 17k likes. In the caption of the post Hov keeps it simple, “The Book Of Clarence
January 2024.”

While this is a new account for Jay-Z, it isn’t the first time he’s joined the platform. Back in 2021, he opened up a new Instagram account for an almost identical reason. That time he was promoting another film he executive produced called The Harder They Fall. After posting some promotional material from the film he deleted the account just a day later. In that span, he had racked up over 800k followers. The Harder They Fall netted mostly positive reviews from critics when it was released on Netflix in 2021. Clarence features some of the same actors and crew from that film on board again and is scheduled to be released in January of 2024.

Lil Yachty & Kai Cenat Star In New Trailer For Short Buddy Cop Film, “Global Pursuit”

The streamer world is making its way into the film industry, and leading the way is Kai Cenat. Moreover, the official trailer just dropped for his new short film, Global Pursuit, in which he’s the lead role in a buddy cop action-comedy. In addition, it stars a massive fan of his, Ray, who met the social media star during a recent Japan trip and hit it off so much that they teamed up for this project. It’s a formula and comedic style akin to films like Rush Hour, but one that looks pretty entertaining and well-crafted. If nothing else, it looks like Kai and Ray really enjoyed themselves in the making of it, and it’s still an exciting move.

Not only that, but there’s a Lil Yachty reference at one point in the trailer where someone confuses Kai Cenat for him and stars singing “Strike.” Maybe a lot of fans saw this and thought that it was just a little nod to his streaming guest. However, it didn’t stop there, as at the very end of the trailer, a group of frantic women run past a man reading a newspaper. He puts the news down, and it’s revealed to be the Atlanta artist, and he disregards the commotion and gets back to his reading.

Kai Cenat’s Global Pursuit Trailer With Lil Yachty Cameo

These days, there’s a lot of reasons as to why Lil Yachty would want to both work with Kai Cenat and put his name out there as much as possible. He’s on an unstoppable new music run recently, with his most recent single being “Tesla.” In addition, he and Kai are pretty tight, especially considering how Yachty brought him and the rest of the AMP crew on stage at Rolling Loud Miami this year. A new poster for the upcoming film The Expendables 4 was recently unveiled, and it looks like 50 Cent is pretty disappointed by it. He shared his thoughts with social media followers in an Instagram post, claiming that the image appears to be poorly Photoshopped. The poster boasts Fif’s character, Easy Day. “WTF did we run out of money?” the performer wonders. “Why my head look like it ain’t connected to my body.”

He also continues, claiming that they’re likely to have put a bit more into Sylvester Stallone’s poster. “I bet they are gonna make @officialslystallone look great,” he writes. His hilarious take has prompted other social media users to weigh in. Some are in agreement with 50 Cent, while others claim the poster actually “goes hard.” The Expendables 4 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on September 22 of this year.

The trailer for the upcoming film was released earlier this summer, showcasing the work of 50 Cent, Megan Fox, Jason Statham, and more. “Oppenheimer” Sex Scenes “F**king Powerful,” Cillian Murphy Says, Film Censored In Some Places

The two biggest movies in theatres right now, Barbie and Oppenheimer, are drawing audiences in for very different reasons. The former is all about fashion, feminism, and a fantastic soundtrack. On the other hand, the latter is far more chilling (and sometimes scandalous) in nature. More specifically, lead actor Cillian Murphy’s sex scenes with co-star Florence Pugh are causing quite the stir. So much so, in fact, that they’re being censored with CGI while playing in select Asian markets.

“Those scenes were written deliberately,” the Irish performer told the Sydney Morning Herald recently. “He knew that those scenes would get the movie the rating that it got. And I think when you see it, it’s so f**king powerful,” Murphy added of director Christopher Nolan’s work. He went on to state that the intimate moments between the two actors aren’t “gratuitous,” but rather, “perfect.” Cillian also made it known that Pugh is “amazing,” even if certain countries refuse to show her naked body on screen.

Florence Pugh’s Oppenheimer Nudity Hidden Behind CGI in Select Asian Markets

According to Newsweek, both India and Indonesia are playing edited cuts of Oppenheimer in favour of more modesty. Bangladesh is also following suit as more backlash ensues for the creator’s decision to quote from the Bhagavad Gita while Oppenheimer and his mistress make love. “I am become death, destroyer of worlds,” Murphy’s character says in the film, a line the real-life nuclear bomb inventor previously recited when reflecting on his deathly work.

Whether you’re team Oppenheimer or Barbie – or among those who plan on seeing both – we can all agree that it’s refreshing to see the internet discussing something other than Lena The Plug and Jason Luv’s sex tape, or the constant drama between Blueface and Chrisean Rock. Nolan’s latest project is doing undeniably well at the box office, but still, it can’t quite beat what Greta Gerwig has managed to achieve with her new movie. Travis Scott A24 Film Hits Massive Wall

Travis Scott is gearing up for a massive moment. On July 28th, he will be performing his album Utopia at the Pyramids in Egypt. Furthermore, he is reportedly going to perform Utopia at Rolling Loud the week prior. We still do not know when the album is going to be released. However, it is crystal clear that the release date is coming up very soon. Overall, this is very good news for all of the fans out there. They have waited the better part of three years for this project, and now, Scott is ready to deliver on his promise.

As many fans already know, Travis Scott is someone who likes to partake in numerous creative endeavors. A couple of years ago, the rapper posted an A24 movie script on his Instagram story. For years, there were no updates on this project. However, that has now changed. According to The Film Stage, the movie has already been filmed and edited by Harmony Korine. However, while the film may be done, it has hit a bit of a snag in the production process.

Essentially, Travis Scott is completely refusing to release the project. He will not sign off on it, and therefore, the project remains in a state of limbo. Although, there are some interesting elements in regard to this new endeavor. As it turns out, the project is going to be filmed entirely in infrared. This is a pretty wacky idea, and there is no telling how it may actually look. Scott did post an infrared image on his Instagram story, so perhaps that could end up telling the story.

Jack Harlow’s “White Men Can’t Jump” Remake Earns Mixed Reviews On Twitter

Since it was first announced that Jack Harlow will be stepping into Woody Harrelson’s shoes in the White Men Can’t Jump remake, social media hasn’t held back on expressing their fears around the project. Not only have some questioned if the Kentucky native should make his acting debut in such an iconic role, but others have been questioning why the 1992 film is already receiving a remake in the first place. Upon seeing the first trailers earlier this year, some felt a pang of relief. Now that it finally arrived on Hulu, fans are able to put their theories about Harlow’s on-screen chops to the test.

Much like in the original, the film follows two unlikely friends – one Black and one white – who are brought together thanks to the world of basketball. As Looper notes, sports fanatics will be happy to know that several NBA cameos take place in the new White Men Can’t Jump, including Kamal Allen and his father (played by the late Lance Reddick). Elsewhere, we see Blake Griffin handing Harlow and co-star Sinqua Walls a massive check, and Tyler Herro working out his anger management issues with his new coach.

Aside from the surprise all-star athlete appearances, many were also pleased with the Jackman rapper’s work. “Why is Jack Harlow actually acting omg,” one shocked tweet reads. “The new ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ funny asf I can’t lie,” another user chimed in. “Thought the shit was gone be corny as hell.”

Elsewhere, however, several people have expressed serious discontent with the project after viewing it. “Just watched 30 mins of the ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ remake. Y’all are so lucky I don’t have powers because the movie is so bad that I would have destroyed the world,” a particularly unimpressed person vented.

Kodak Black & NLE Choppa Recruit Jimin, JVKE, & Muni Long For “Angel Pt. 1”

Kodak Black is one of the biggest artists in hip-hop right now. Overall, he has made some truly incredible songs and also has the discography to back up his stardom. Of course, Kodak also has a lot of peers. One of those peers is none other than NLE Choppa, who has been at it for a while now. As a consequence of their prowess as artists, it should come as no surprise that they have been tapped for the new Fast X soundtrack. Although, it looks like they have some other incredible stars to help them out.

NLE and Kodak Black are the stars of the new track “Angel Pt. 1,” which was released today. Moreover, this track features Muni Long and JVKE. However, the one name that truly stands out here would have to be Jimin from BTS. From a global perspective, he is by far the largest artist here. Additionally, it feels odds to see his name amongst the likes of Kodak and NLE Choppa. Regardless, it makes for a unique collaboration.

Kodak Black & Friends Do Their Thing

Seeing as though this is a movie soundtrack song, you can be sure that the production here is incredibly clean. The track immediately starts off with some piano melodies, while Jimin and JVKE sing the chorus. From there, Kodak Black and NLE Choppa are given the opportunity to trade some bars. Overall, it makes for a solid collaboration that also comes with great vocal performances from Muni Long.

Tomorrow, the entire Fast X soundtrack will be released on streaming services. That said, there will be no shortage of unique new collabs as of midnight.
