North West Digs Into Kim Kardashian’s Parenting By Revealing Her Biggest Flaw

Whenever we get insights into the daily lives of massive celebrities, even the smallest and most insignificant details can make us regular folk relate to them just a little bit more. That’s exactly what we got for Interview magazine’s 55th anniversary edition, for which Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West sat down for an interview. Kim was the one mostly interviewing North, and this led to reflect on their family dynamic and their relationship to the media in some pretty curious ways. But one of the funniest parts of the whole thing was when the SKIMS mogul asked the 11-year-old “TALKING” singer the following: “How’s my cooking?” And she fell right into the trap…

“You haven’t cooked for us in a long time. Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago!” North West hilariously responded to Kim Kardashian. However, that wasn’t all that we learned about the Kardashian household. North also explained how she uses an alias when she’s with friends so that they don’t attract unwanted attention from snoopy passerby. “My friends call me that so people don’t know who I am,” she expressed.

“I like taking pictures of myself, but I don’t like when paparazzi do,” North West answered when Kim Kardashian asked about her experiences with being on camera. “When I just woke up and there’s so much paparazzi, I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m going to sue you.’ If I’m ready, if I’m not tired, if my outfit’s good, I’m like, ‘Okay, I could take a picture.’” Out of all of Kanye West and Kim’s children, North is the one who receives the most media attention. She featured on a couple of Ye songs, she’s their first child, and her social media presence developed quickly.

Meanwhile, despite everything going on in their individual lives, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian still prioritize family in their coparenting journey. It hasn’t been easy, and you probably already know the saga of how ugly things turned out. Still, it at least seems like the kids have a positive bond with both. Hopefully we get to see more of North West and her siblings hilariously comment on their parents and grapple with the complicated nature of their celebrity lives and family dynamics.

Benzino Reveals Why He Wants To Squash Eminem Beef And Be Friends

Benzino and Eminem’s beef goes way back, but amid some exciting new developments in the latter’s personal life, it looks like it could be over for good. During a recent interview with TMZ Hip Hop, Benzino shared that he wants to put the past behind him. To prove it, he even revealed that he congratulated Em after he learned he was going to be a grandfather.

“At 59 years old enough is enough like come on man. Like, listen you know I have four children. I’m not a grandfather yet. The irony is that he did say nobody wanted to hear their grandpa rap on [‘Nail in the Coffin’],” The Source icon explained. “After all these years I’m saying man wouldn’t it be something if he was a grandfather before me? I swear I used to think that.”

“This is a moment of joy and I’m glad I have this platform and I want to congratulate him again on being a grandfather and his daughter Hailey,” Benzino continued. “Eminem has touched a lot of people. Our situation, back-and-forth I just want everybody to know it’s hip-hop. Battling in hip-hop has been since day one okay and I don’t want people to think that I wish any harm on him or any bad intentions, streetwise.” He went on to describe how he’d like to have a “real conversation” with the rapper, so they can finally put their feud to rest after over two decades.

6ix9ine Pledges To Stay “Squeaky Clean” After Signing Massive Deal

6ix9ine recently signed a massive deal with Kartel Records that seemingly aims to redirect his career and net him a wild bag. For those unaware, reports on the matter from TMZ indicate that he will receive $1 million to make a Spanish-language, ten-song album and will get $250K for each concert on a wide-spanning tour. All in all, this could net Tekashi around $6 million. But apparently, there’s also a clause in the contract that directs him to stay out of legal trouble as part of their deal. TMZ interviewed the artist to elaborate some more on these contract stipulations.

“It’s not a record deal,” 6ix9ine told TMZ, explaining how he sees the actual details of the Kartel Music partnership. “I think that’s what people – it’s an exclusive tour deal that I’m doing in Mexico, South America, and… Central America, South America, United States, and Mexico. Like, the exclusivity deal. Yeah, [there’s going to be a new album], but the album belongs to them. To Kartel Music. Because it’s like Mexican regional music. Like, tumbados and, you know, more – it’s nothing hip-hop.”

Then, the TMZ hosts asked about the clause that prompts him to stay clean and unproblematic, which you most likely think isn’t a characteristic that he’s embodied over the years. “No, [I’m not worried about staying out of trouble],” 6ix9ine answered. “Because, I mean, like, if you know 6ix9ine, you know now, like, I’m squeaky clean. Like, I stay out of trouble. It’s just, trouble seems – its way to find me all the time.” However, with all this as context, there’s no telling how the actual album or tour will shape up. Maybe it’s a big flop or it skyrockets him back into the mainstream consciousness.

Meanwhile, there is still a lot of animosity toward 6ix9ine in popular culture, so many folks couldn’t care less about this news or outright oppose his success. But amid many other conversations around people switching to other genres from hip-hop, as well as wider criticism of clout chasing antics and industry cash cows, his evolution and cultural relevance is still a curious tale to break down. KSI Thanks Drake For Cosigning His Virally Clowned Trippie Redd Collab

KSI and Trippie Redd recently spoke to Official Charts for an interview about their new song “Thick Of It,” which is going viral for a few different reasons. One of them is the barrage of hate that the record received, which the artists briefly touched on but overall dismissed in the face of the track’s wider success. Another is how Drake responded to it, reposting it on an Instagram Reel and asking Adin Ross to play it on his stream. While we and many others assumed that the 6ix God did this in a mocking manner, it turns out that he actually has a lot of love for the collab.

“The Drake thing was crazy, man,” KSI expressed. “For him to even put the song on his Reel, that’s huge. I just couldn’t believe it, I was like, ‘What the hell?’ To be honest, I didn’t actually know. I had several people message me. Like, ‘Bro, Drake’s used your song!’ I’d just woken up like, ‘Yo, what?’ Then I saw it, and I was like ‘Mad!’ I messaged him saying ‘Big up, thank you for using it,’ and he was like, ‘Yo, I had to, it gets the people going!’ That’s sick, he’s legit. I appreciate it.”

Of course, Drake and Trippie Redd also have a pretty strong relationship, so this love is no surprise. Whether through past collaborations or previous link-ups, it seems like they’re still connected and supporting each other’s art. Whether or not the Internet agrees with the praise is another story. But as KSI and Trippie noted to Official Charts, they have plenty of responses on both ends to balance this. It made them appreciative of the overall reception and performance of the cut.

“I was held hostage to do this,” Trippie Redd joked on social media about his new KSI collab. “If this doesn’t hit 20 million the first month, KSI won’t let me go. Sidem Ozturk Reveals Why She Moved To Jamaica Before Vybz Kartel Was Released

Sidem Ozturk may have chastised her fiancée when he flirted with fans online, but she’s still very dedicated to Vybz Kartel. Moreover, she recently joined Gucci Mane’s wife Keyshia Ka’oir for a new interview, during which Ka’oir asked Ozturk why she moved to Jamaica even before Kartel was released from prison. As you can see from the clip below, Gucci’s girl was pretty shocked and even perhaps impressed at this show of loyalty.

“I didn’t think about [if Vybz Kartel wouldn’t be released],” Sidem Ozturk revealed. “That was not an option. […] Honestly, [my family] didn’t know at first. *laughs* They didn’t know at first. It was just, like, he asked me to come. And then from there, it was just, how can I say no? And then my family, I’ve never lived apart from my family. So it was a bit – they didn’t really know how deep it was. I didn’t really tell anyone except for my friends how deep it really was. And then, I just, I couldn’t say no. And I just flew out, and my mom later found out that I flew out for him.

“So you’re persistent,” Keyshia Ka’oir told Sidem Ozturk when she began telling her Vybz Kartel story. “This is what you call faith, guys. Like, you are filled with faith. Like, ‘I’m moving to Jamaica. This is going to be my man, and he’s coming out of prison, and can’t nobody stop me.’” Of course, fans most likely know at this point how much Ozturk and Kartel have professed their love for one another on social media. It’s been quite wholesome to witness, especially when paired up with his return to live performances and releasing more music.

Meanwhile, Vybz Kartel recently gave fans another health update. For those unaware, he suffers from an auto-immune disorder known as Graves’ disease, which has affected his heart condition. The dancehall singer said he’s feeling better and talking to some of the best doctors in Cuba, Jamaica, and St. Vincent. Also, he’s in the process of getting a visa in order to receive more treatment in the United States.

DaBaby Recounts When He Shot An Alleged Trespasser In The Leg

DaBaby recently joined The Breakfast Club for a wide-ranging conversation, where he once again showed off his storytelling skills. Even thought the tale this time around isn’t a particularly fun one to hear, he engagingly recounted a 2022 incident in which he shot an alleged trespasser in the leg at his North Carolina home. The NC MC did not face any charges for this situation due to authorities determining that this was a case of justifiable self-defense. Even though we are plenty of months removed from the situation at this point, it seems like he still remembers a lot of details from that day, and understandably so.

“I chose not to take a n****a life the other day & it felt great. Buddy ain’t deserve to go, I step righteously. Heal up & live my boy! Just don’t bring ya a** back,” DaBaby had expressed about the incident back in April of 2022. As you can see and hear in the clip below, there were a lot of moving parts in this situation, and a lot of different ways in which it could’ve gone differently.

Elsewhere, DaBaby is also cleaning up some other violent situations that he’s been in over the past couple of years, although this one isn’t nearly as scary as a shooting. He finally reached a settlement in a battery lawsuit against him from a man who claimed the rapper physically assaulted him while shooting a music video at his home. This debacle began all the way back in 2020, so to hear it’s finally over is actually a bizarre occurrence for die-hard fans. After all, plenty of folks thought that the case stretched out way too far, although that might be why a settlement was the move.

Meanwhile, DaBaby recently released his new mixtape, aptly titled HOW TF IS THIS A MIXTAPE? It’s his first project in two years, and it’s not hard to hear why this classification is appropriate. It’s just an expected albeit solid collection of bangers and jams to feed fans after a while. Hopefully Baby sees more mixtapes in the future and not trespassers.

During a recent interview with Earn Your Leisure at Invest Fest, he explained exactly why that is. According to him, he’d have to channel his inner “st*pidity” to write music that fits in with the rest of what’s coming out these days.

Since he believes this is the case, he’s opted to spend more of his time on film production, which he thinks he could make a greater difference with. “If you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my st*pid,” he began. “I have to tap into the st*pid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music.”

He told Evropa 2 in November that he planned to drop a new album after wrapping up his “Final Lap” tour.

According to her, she’s on a much better path these days. She says that moving forward, she doesn’t plan on taking part in any self-destructive behavior.

“I was calm and I was at peace. I didn’t cry, I knew I had to take care of my responsibilities and obligations with my legal and I just asked God for that place to be a spiritual hospital because I felt like I was dragging the Holy Spirit everywhere I went,” she said of her first night in jail. “Doing the most, and the Holy Spirit was grieving and I didn’t have the strength to pull away from things, people, places and things.”

When Chrisean was first released from prison, she told her followers on Instagram Live that she was focused on caring for her son and staying true to her faith. This lines up with what she told Bryant. Janet Jackson Sparks Outrage Online For Her Controversial Kamala Harris Take

A lot of celebrities these days are endorsing either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump for U.S. President, whether their takes are based in actual policy agreements or not. Moreover, it’s been a controversial ride to see what discussions, debates, and combative back-and-forths occur as a result, especially in the hip-hop world. However, outside of that conversation, Janet Jackson recently ruffled a lot of feathers online during her recent interview with The Guardian. In it, the interviewer asked her about the prospect of potentially getting the first female president – and the first Black female president – in United States history.

“Well, you know what they supposedly said?” Janet Jackson asked the interviewer, who had asked the singer this Kamala Harris question due to her own references to social justice and racial equity. “She’s not Black. That’s what I heard. That she’s Indian.” “Well, she’s both,” the interviewer replied, referencing Harris’ Jamaican father and Kamala’s mother’s view of her as a Black daughter. “Her father’s white,” Janet responded. “That’s what I was told. I mean, I haven’t watched the news in a few days. I was told that they discovered her father was white.”

Then, the interviewer asked Janet Jackson whether she thinks that the United States is “ready for [Kamala Harris]” as, if not a Black woman, then as a woman of color. “I don’t know,” she posited. “Honestly, I don’t want to answer that because I really, truthfully, don’t know. I think either way it goes is going to be mayhem.” Of course, this led to a whole variety of reactions from fans who came across this, as they either agree with the Las Vegas concert resident or condemned her assessment of Harris’ racial identity. Mariah The Scientist and Latto spilled some relationship tea on both ends during their appearance-slash-interview on Angel Reese’s podcast. However, one of the most notable moments of the whole thing was when they seemingly manifested the guest appearance of one of the boos in question. Moreover, Young Thug apparently called Mariah from prison mid-conversation. While it was a wholesome moment – albeit a “ghetto” one according to the singer – some fans in the comments section of the post below (and online in general) expressed skepticism over their relationship and what their bond is actually like. Also, they took the opportunity to offer their unprompted views of their bond.

Nevertheless here’s what Mariah The Scientist had to say about Young Thug during this podcast appearance. “So, I be going to court…” she remarked when asked if she finds it hard to connect with him amid his RICO case, acknowledging that it can feel like a long-distance relationship. “Sometimes I fall asleep in there. But I just go to [breathe] his air. […] He’s been locked up now for longer than we was in a relationship before he got locked up.”

“FYI, I see what y’all be saying…” Mariah The Scientist elaborated in a Shade Room comments section when their post about her comments had folks criticizing their relationship. “Nobody wakes up and hopes to have to see somebody they love in court or at a jail every day. Just chill on the judgement. Maybe u would understand if u were in my shoes but I won’t wish that on you. In fact, I’m very optimistic for my own situation.” However, a lot of fans raised their eyebrows recently when a random woman posted a very loving tribute to Thugger online, which led them to believe that he’s got a side chick.

Still, Young Thug did post Mariah The Scientist on Instagram in a pretty lustful way shortly after this speculation broke, so it seems like he wanted to make his commitment clear. As for their relationship dynamics, who are we to judge? All we can hope for is that his legal situation clears up and continues to develop in a fair and speedy manner.
