Tyga Not Phased By Avril Lavigne Keeping $80k Necklace Gift: Report

Tyga is reportedly unbothered by Avril Lavigne keeping the $80,000 diamond necklace he purchased for her during their recent romantic fling. According to RadarOnline, Tyga didn’t even ask for the jewelry back.

“She loves that necklace — and he didn’t ask for it back,” an insider told the publication. “Tyga says he doesn’t give presents with the intent of taking them back later. He spent a lot of money on Avril. But he says there’s plenty more where that came from — and he can afford the loss.”

Eric Mavani, who is better known as Eric Da Jeweler, is responsible for the chain. It features 50 carats of white and black diamonds as well as pink sapphires. Additionally, it bares Lavigne’s name alongside a pair of skulls and crossbones with pink bows.

Despite their relationship coming to an end, late last month, the two were spotted together on multiple occasions earlier this week. In addition to spending the Fourth of July together and going out to a club, they also filmed a TikTok in promotion of Tyga’s new single, “Bops Goin Brazy.”

Tyga and Lavigne began dating back in March, shortly after the “Complicated” singer split from Mod Sun. At the time, a source for PEOPLE confirmed that the two were “very into each other.” “They’re still not exclusive and just getting to know each other. Flavor Flav Unveils The Story Behind His Famous Clock Chain

During a recent interview on SiriusXM, Flavor Flav told the story behind his iconic clock necklace. He revealed the whole thing actually started as a joke, claiming that a “crackhead” gave him his first one. He’s worn the clock chains throughout most of his career, even gifting one to Harvard University earlier this year.

Flavor Flav begins, “So one day, as a joke, as a joke, you know, this crackhead came through my projects, you know what I’m saying? Selling these shower clocks that she stole from a place called Fortunoff.” He continues, “Well, she went to Fortunoff, stole this big bag, big box of shower clocks came through our projects selling them. So my boy, Son of Berserk, you know what I’m saying? He took the stopwatch off my neck and put the clock around my neck and everybody was laughing. It was a big joke and all of that.”

The artist then reveals that what may have started as a joke, ended up getting him some serious attention. Flavor Flav recalls landing on the front pages of various publications for the fashion statement. “So they dared me to wear that clock on stage,” he explained to Roxanne Shante, “but during the show. So when we went to open up for the Beastie Boys in Passaic, New Jersey, 1986, I wore the clock, Roxanne, and then the next day on the front page of Newsday, New York Times, New York Post, the look of the clock was dope.”

Flavor Flav is also celebrating being nearly three years sober from alcohol, and over 15 years sober from drugs. “To everyone out there struggling with addiction, it is a real battle you fight every day,” he wrote in June. He went on to tell followers, “if I can do it anyone can do it.“

Gunplay Calls Out Fans Who Refunded GoFundMe Donations Over Rick Ross Gift

Gunplay has called out fans who refunded their donations to his GoFundMe page, after believing that the money was used to buy Rick Ross a necklace. Gunplay’s partner launched the fundraiser to get help paying off their daughter’s medical bills after she had an emergency heart surgery in February. All-in-all, the couple raised just over $30,000. However, the fundraiser was brought up during DJ Envy’s recent feud with Rick Ross.

In a video that has surfaced on social media, Gunplay gifts Ross a new chain. Afterward, some fans apparently refunded their donations to the family’s GoFundMe. “Every single one of you pussy-ass hoes and fuck n****s that went to the GoFundMe and donated and went and got a motherfucking refund, you never gave it with your heart,” Gunplay said in a new interview with We In Miami. “You’re a piece of shit. You’ll die that way.”

He continued: “People that see me give my brother a gift, they automatically want to say that I bought that with GoFundMe money. N***a had to pay that back. So now, if you really want to be for real, my n***a, if a n***a spent that on a chain, how the fuck they got it right back instantly with no pressure?”

The argument wasn’t enough to win over many fans. When We In Miami shared the clip on Instagram, one commented: “How are you buying diamond chains for your homies but asking for donations for your kid? Yes I would have questions too.” Another remarked: “The fact he can’t see the problem is wild.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Gunplay continued to criticize DJ Envy. He even challenged The Breakfast Club host to a boxing match. “He didn’t realize, you know, that I’ll slap the shit outta him,” he said. “Yo, Envy, wassup? Put on the gloves. Avril Lavigne Rocks $80,000 Diamond Necklace Gifted From Tyga

Avril Lavigne wore an $80,000 custom diamond necklace that Tyga gifted to her in Manchester ahead of her sold-out show in the city on Saturday. The statement pendant features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds, and pink sapphires. Jeweler Eric Mavani. designed the piece. She completed the outfit with VETEMENTS x New Rock platform boots and a black T-shirt dress with an orange logo on the front and her name on the arm.

Lavigne’s tour of the U.K. and Europe was originally scheduled for 2020 but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. She’ll be wrapping up the series of shows on May 10 in London.

Drake Reveals Price Of Engagement Ring Necklace

Drake recently revealed the absolutely insane price of his engagement ring necklace with 42 diamonds. During a conversation with Instagram influencer Chris Too Smoove, Chris asked Drake to break down his fit’s cost from head to toe. Before getting into it, the Canadian star shouted out Icey Cold, who was another influencer who did this prompt with Drake before. To start, he didn’t know how much his Thom Browne glasses cost, thought he lost them a few times. Furthermore, he said his diamond earrings cost $1,200 and his diamond watch cost $900K.

Meanwhile, his jacket and shirt both cost $400 each, and when asked about his baggy jeans, Drake said he actually made them. While he didn’t know how much his boots cost either, he did tell Smoove to save the chain for last. Moreover, even then he hesitated a little bit before breaking it down. “Honestly, I’m embarrassed to say, probably like nine… Yeah, over 10 Ms, for sure.” As such, Smoove and onlookers screamed at Drake’s 10 million dollar bling. Moreover, the self-proclaimed Champagne Papi has an interesting relationship with that necklace. For example, he designed it along with New York jeweler Alex Moss, who posted it on Instagram. Also, the piece took a year to complete and, in addition to diamonds, used 18-karat white gold. “Ordering the impossible,” a female voice narrated in Moss’ post showing off the chain. “An expedition spanning 14 months. Every diamond hand-selected. Inspected to only suit perfection.” However, the most interesting part about the piece revealed itself in the caption.

“New piece titled ‘Previous Engagements’ for all the times he thought about it but never did it,” the video’s caption read. “42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds. By Alex Moss New York & Drake.” Overall, it’s pretty much the most Drake-like piece of jewelry ever created, and we’d be lying if we said he didn’t rock it.
