50 Cent & Dwight Howard Feud After Rapper Takes Shots At NBA Star Amid Legal Issues

The world of NBA basketball isn’t the only pop culture sphere that got shook up by Dwight Howard’s sexual assault accusations. For those unaware, a man named Stephen Harper claimed that he forced him into a threesome with another man with a cross-dressing, full-bearded male referred to as Kitty, and that he assaulted him. While the star athlete denied all accusations, saying that they only engaged in “consensual kissing,” people continue to take shots at this horrible alleged act. For example, 50 Cent recently reposted a picture of him, Denzel Washington, and Top Dawg Entertainment boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffifth courtside at a Lakers game. Since the picture featured Howard towering over them, this is what the rapper used to take aim at him.

“@dangerookipawaa [Top Dawg’s Instagram handle] gonna say you made eye contact with Dwight Howard,” 50 Cent’s post’s caption read. “Man me and Denzel thought that motherf***er was alright man. WTF.” Then, Howard actually responded to Fif’s jabs in the comments section of his post. “Glad I put a smile on your face,” he added with a laughing emoji. It’s unclear how much of this is legitimate beef and how much of it is just trolling or making light of the situation, but from the looks of it, neither side is too happy with the other.

Meanwhile, this is the statement from Dwight Howard’s team to AllHipHop concerning the allegations that 50 Cent referred to. “This is a civil case that was made public for profit,” it posits. “In this case, the accuser is solely suing Dwight Howard and has refrained from suing the other party in which he claims to be involved. It is important to know that these matters were never about sexual assault. This was merely about money and greed. Such individuals, have made continuous attempts to elicit payment from Dwight. This has resulted in intimidation of not only Dwight, his family and friends have also been targeted as well. The accuser took to social media, only after being ignored by Howard.

“Over the duration of several years the accuser has set out to hire attorneys. According to multiple reports, including TMZ Sports, the league has been under an ongoing investigation by the United States Department of Justice. The reason is that Ice Cube’s Big3 league feels there are anticompetitive behaviors in practice from its longstanding counterpart.

The Big3’s aura comes from former NBA players going against each other. It has been in place since 2017 and it is a great league in general. However, they feel the NBA has been working to essentially slowly eliminate them in numerous ways. Namely, they are allegedly “preventing sponsors and other potential partners from doing business.”

In fact, Big3 claims that players have shown interest in playing in it, but they have been denied access. The same goes for referees and owners. Giannis Antetokounmpo Inks Three-Year Extension Worth $186 Million: Report

The Eastern Conference might consistently run through Milwaukee, Wisconsin over the next three seasons. Perennial MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo is officially staying in green and white. According to multiple reports, including Uproxx, the Greek Freak has just agreed on a three-year $186 million contract extension. What a sigh of relief for this franchise. Giannis made plenty of statements that he was not fully committed until the front office showed their desire to compete for titles. Well, they responded to his wishes. Bringing in Damian Lillard solved everything. Furthermore, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski says that the deal includes a player option for the 2027-2028 campaign.

Besides keeping Giannis in a Bucks jersey, maybe the most important part is that his and Dame’s contracts align perfectly. The star point guard’s deal expires in 2027 as well, so that will be another offseason to pay attention to. While it was difficult to see Jrue Holiday be shipped to Boston, there is no doubt that the offensive firepower will be even more formidable. Giannis put up 31 points per game and Damian averaged 32.

This one features LeBron, soccer talent for Manchester City, Erling Haaland, his dad, Savannah James, and her sons Bronny and Bryce. It is a really hard-hitting commercial with Savannah and Haaland’s dad leaving voicemails to their loved ones about the upcoming season. The most interesting part of it all is what Bron’s wife says to him. Uproxx is credited for the quotes from the ad. She says to him, “Tell them you’re not done until you play with your son.” The first cut goes to Bronny. Then, she challenges him further, “And then do that again.” After that it goes to Bryce.

The drama took on an interesting new direction when Joe Budden recorded an interview with Tasha K. Tasha is a blogger and Youtuber whom Cardi B has long had beef with. The pair were embroiled in a lawsuit for years that resulted in a massive payday for Cardi when it was proven that Tasha deliberately spread lies about the rapper. The surprise came when Budden announced that he was shelving the interview and not releasing it publicly. Mark Cuban On Kyrie Irving After Contract Extension: “I Like Him”

Mark Cuban spearheaded the option to resign mercurial NBA superstar Kyrie Irving back to the Dallas Mavericks. The two sides got a deal done for three years, $126 million fully guaranteed. The 31-year-old is now contracted through the 2025-2026 NBA season, and Kyrie seems pleased with this development. Mark Cuban is also happy with how it all went down. On SiriusXM NBA Radio, he told New York reporter and sports analyst Frank Isola why he traded for Kyrie last year and why he signed him for the near future.

“…We traded for [Kyrie Irving] because we wanted him to be a long-term piece,” Mark Cuban said on SiriusXM. “I think Kyrie’s just misunderstood.” Cuban explains his stance further: “Everybody sees all the noise and everything around him, but when you actually talk to him, I like him. He’s open, he’s smart, he’s always looking to learn things, and to me, he’s an interesting guy that’s just misunderstood.” Kyrie Irving has been long known for his off-the-court opinions and refusal to get vaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cuban was genuinely surprised when Kyrie Irving came to the Dallas Mavericks midway through last season. The Mavs traded for him, taking him from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, two future first-round picks, and a future second-rounder. Dallas also got Markieff Morris in the deal to make the contract amounts work. So when Kyrie began to play games for the Mavs organization, Mark Cuban was shocked at how many other players in the league would come up to the point guard to show love.

“Not just giving him a high five, but like a real, honest-to-goodness, I like you hug,” Cuban said. “And when you talk to players around them, they would say the same thing.” The Dallas Mavericks were looking for a long-term solution to pair with generational talent and franchise superstar Luka Doncic. Their previous point guard, Jalen Brunson, departed for the New York Knicks last offseason, leaving the Mavericks with more questions than answers. Dwight Howard Causing More Drama With Baby Mother

Dwight Howard was having fun about a month ago, commenting on eliminated NBA playoff teams and calling out specific players to join him on his Taiwan team. But now he’s on social media catching a lot of flak for things that are not related to basketball. After being called out by Royce Reed, the mother of his eldest child Braylon, about abusing his son, Dwight is now in hot water regarding Reed and how he handled her pregnancy. Reed said that when she told him about being pregnant, Dwight Howard then ghosted her for two days before any response.

When Reed finally talked to his best friend, she alleged that “This man offered me a massive amount of money to say that Braylon was not his. That they would pay for my house, they would pay off any debt that I had, that they would give me a certain amount of money a month if I said that it wasn’t his.” Royce Reed said no to these offers and got attorneys involved. Reportedly, she says that Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic asked to have a paternity test conducted at their facility, to which she refused.

Dwight Howard and Royce Reed have been going at it for over a decade now. Howard sued Reed for defamation in 2010, which he won. She spoke about how Dwight would beat Braylon with a belt in 2014, continuing to ignore the court order regarding speaking about Dwight Howard. The two have been trying to make joint parenting work for some time, but Reed is through with keeping silent on the drama. She wants everyone to know that he is “evil,” making allegations left and right.

Howard has yet to comment on these accusations outright. However, he posted on his social media that he was working out with his kids at his home gym. He’s showcasing that he’s a good parent by instilling good habits in his children. But with this current accusation, it’s clear that Royce Reed doesn’t care about Dwight Howard’s home gym workouts. She’s also not a fan of his parenting style, as she accused him of allegedly beating Braylon with a belt. Howard admitted to doing so but didn’t consider it to be “wrong.” He still plays basketball in the Taiwanese League.
