Damian Lillard made his first visit to his former team, the Portland Trailblazers, as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. During the pregame announcement, the city showed they still had plenty of love for Dame Time during pregame introductions and a moving halftime tribute.
The Blazers got the best of the Bucks for the game, winning 119-116. Lillard has 25 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in his return.
After the game, Lillard revealed he never knew where the visitor’s locker room was in the Blazers arena while leaving a door open for a return to the franchise in the future.
“Because of how I feel about Portland,” Lillard said. “How I feel about the organization here and my time that I spent here, in my mind I’ve always felt like that’s how my career would end.
“Right now, I’m just in a space of like, this is where I am now. I’m in Milwaukee. I wanted the opportunity to contend, and our team has an opportunity to contend for this year and years to come, and I’m just living in that. But I definitely, when I was traded, I see a day where I’ll be in a Trail Blazer uniform again before I’m done.”

Doc Rivers is officially the new head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. Rivers took the position less than 24 hours after the Bucks fired former coach Adrian Griffin.
Rivers comes to the Bucks literally off the sidelines, as he was calling games on ESPN with Mike Breen and Doris Burke.
According to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, Rivers was picked due to his history with tandems, as the Bucks have Giannis Antentokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Most recently, Rivers coached Joel Embiid and James Harden for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Rivers was also an All-American guard for Marquette University, with his retired jersey already hanging in the Bucks’ home arena rafters.
“We wish Doc well and we look forward to documenting the next chapter of his coaching career. We have a deep roster of supremely talented commentators who will continue to serve NBA fans with tremendous skill, passion and expertise,” David Roberts, ESPN’s head of event and studio production, said in a statement.
In a historic performance, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to victory over the Indiana Pacers with a staggering 64 points, breaking Michael Redd’s franchise record of 57 points set 17 years ago. Giannis further solidified his dominance, securing the highest-scoring game of the 2023-24 NBA season and raising the bar by 10 points from his previous 54-point game against Indiana on Nov. 9.
The Bucks’ star joined an elite club of 12 players to ever reach 64 points in an NBA game, a feat Damian Lillard, another member of the exclusive group, described as “special to watch.” Notably, Giannis now holds the record for the second-highest-scoring game against Indiana this season and the third of his career. Additionally, he joined basketball legends like Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, David Robinson, and Michael Jordan by achieving 64+ points and 14+ rebounds in a single game.
Giannis’ throwback-style performance included impressive shooting numbers of 20-28 from the field and 24-32 from the free-throw line, marking the most points scored without making a three-pointer since the 1979-80 season. The victory and Giannis’ record-breaking night underline his status as one of the NBA’s most dominant forces.
Flavor Flav found himself going viral over the weekend. On Sunday night, he got to perform the National Anthem at the Milwaukee Bucks game. Overall, it was a spirited performance. While some didn’t like what he pulled off, others found it to be refreshing. He tried to hit some hard notes, and he got there. Although there are detractors, there are way more people who have a positive outlook on all of it. After all, it is not like he pulled a Roseanne Barr or something. As he explains, he did it for his family members who served in the armed forces. “When I sang that national anthem, I was singing it for them because they’re not here to sing it for themselves,” he revealed. “I did that in honor of my family and also for a lot of other people’s families, too, that fought for this country.” Needless to say, his intentions were very pure, and it is very much appreciated.
Furthermore, Flavor Flav unveiled that two other teams have actually reached out to him in regards to his talents. He hasn’t yet said whether or not he will do it, however, they are offers that are very much on the table. This just goes to show that other teams understand how valuable his talents can be. If he does another similar performance, then there is a chance to go viral. This subsequently leads to more social value for the teams while Flav gets to continue getting praise.

On Thursday night (Oct. 26) Damian Lillard showed exactly why the Milwaukee Bucks traded for him. With four minutes left in the game and the Bucks down two, Logo Lillard exploded for 14 points to lead the Bucks to a 118-117 win.
Lillard finished the game with 39 points, setting a franchise record for most points in a Bucks debut. His new all-star teammate Giannis Antentokounmpo added 23 points and 13 boards, also making history by passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most field goals made in Bucks history.
On the losing side of the ball was Tyrese Maxey bringing in 31 points and eight assists, to aid Joel Embiid’s 24 points and seven rebounds.

On the eve of the NBA’s 78th season, one of the league’s biggest stars, Giannis Antentokounmpo, has inked a large extension. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Antentokounmpo agreed to a three-year, $186 million extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The new contract aligns Antentokounmpo with the full contract of his new All-Star running mate and point guard, Damian Lillard. Both players are now under contract until 2025.
Antentokounmpo is now eligible for another short-term extension in 2026 and a four-year re-up in 2028.

Damian Lillard has another breakup on his hands aside from his basketball relationship with the Portland Trailblazers. According to The Wilmette Week, Logo Lillard is going through a divorce.
The Portland-based publication states Lillard filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La Lillard on Oct. 2. Together, the two shared three children. The divorce follows Lillard’s trade to the Milwaukee Bucks earlier this month.
The two have been dating since attending Weber State University in Utah, wedding in Sept. 2021. Lillard cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce, leading to an “irremediable breakdown.” The two have seemingly been split since Dec. 2022 as Kay’La moved into a $2.6 million home and Damian remained in the $7.7 million mansion.
In a statement, Lillard’s attorney Shawn Menashe said, “Damian and his family ask that their privacy be respected during this sensitive time and presently have no further comment.”
Unless you are living under a rock, you know that Damian Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday. Now, Dame will get to play with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Overall, this is one of the most unlikely pairings we have ever seen. Although many felt like this would never happen, it is now a reality. Consequently, the Bucks are immediate title favorites. If they cannot go out there and win a championship, then people are going to have a lot of questions about this team’s viability.
Regardless, people are very excited about this new duo. The Eastern Conference is going to be shaken up, and teams like Miami and Boston are feeling the heat. Only time will tell what their chemistry will look like. However, one has to assume that it is going to look pretty amazing. One person who is excited about all of this is Cam’ron. Cam recently had Dame on his show, and they have quite a friendship. Below, Cam even revealed the texts that Lillard sent him following the trade.
“So I just got the text from Damian Lillard myself. It’s true, he’s going to the Milwaukee Bucks,” Cam’ron said. “It’s no sources that you have to say that’s been told to you. I actually spoke to Dame via text. He’s going to the Milwaukee Bucks. Congratulations, Dame Lillard. Let’s go get that Championship, n***a.” Now that Lillard is on a good team, Cam wants to see him go out and win immediately. Dame wants to win a title, and with Giannis as his partner, some believe it should be an inevitability.
