Milwaukee Bucks Lead Boycott of NBA Playoff Games in Wake Of Jacob Blake Shooting

On the eve of the NBA’s 78th season, one of the league’s biggest stars, Giannis Antentokounmpo, has inked a large extension. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Antentokounmpo agreed to a three-year, $186 million extension with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The new contract aligns Antentokounmpo with the full contract of his new All-Star running mate and point guard, Damian Lillard. Both players are now under contract until 2025.

Antentokounmpo is now eligible for another short-term extension in 2026 and a four-year re-up in 2028.

In the season opener for the Bucks, they will face Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
