Florida rapper and singer Rod Wave is currently on tour for his successful studio album for 2023, Nostalgia. Over the past few months and changes, the artist’s shows have had some pretty controversial moments go down during them. One of which was when Rod jumped off a balcony onstage. A lot of people have made some crude jokes about him always wanting to commit suicide in his music. Many felt he was alluding to that message in his music. Additionally, fans have been running on stage and being chased, while other guests were victims of car break-ins. However, this new story is more lighthearted as Ja Morant was at a recent show.

According to AllHipHop, a fan took video footage of him jamming out and having a blast. The Memphis Grizzlies star guard is still in the midst of serving his 25-game suspension. That was handed down before the 2023-2024 campaign and it has really taken a toll on the franchise so far. His loss is certainly being felt on the court as well. Currently, the team is second last in the Western Conference.

Draymond Green Believes The NBA Needs To Go Easy On Him

Draymond Green is a player who habitually steps over the line. Although he believes he is never wrong, it turns out that he is wrong a lot, actually. Overall, he has been suspended for numerous offenses throughout his time in the league. However, he very rarely takes responsibility for his own actions. Instead, he will blame the league for being soft. Or, he will just say that he was well within his rights to put a guy in a chokehold. His latest victim of that was Rudy Gobert.

After choking Rudy Gobert during a game, Green got about five games. It was a fairly harsh sentence, however, he is a repeat offender. When you have already done this kind of thing before, the consequences can follow you. When the league gives you a punishment, they look at your track record. If the track record is poor, well, you can expect a punishment that reflects that. While speaking to reporter Shayna Rubin, Green completely rejected that premise.

It speaks to the Warriors and the mentality they have had during their run. There is a sense of entitlement that just doesn’t work when you’re out there kicking people in the nuts and laying hands on guys.

However, not everyone has appreciated that. Some say he is chronically online. Others want him to focus more on basketball. Regardless, KD is very passionate about what he does, and that will never change. In fact, at this point, he will likely go down as one of the top 15 players to ever step on the court.

Unfortunately, this season especially, KD has had to deal with the increased presence of sports betting. There are millions of fans making parlays related to each NBA game. When these parlays don’t hit, the athletes become the scapegoats. The issue here is that it is not the athletes’ job to make other people money. Furthermore, some people are spending more money than they actually have. Recently, KD took aim at these bettors, and let them know he is not their employee.

LeBron James Had The Perfect Response To Stephen A. Smith’s Tweet About Him

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are still seeming to find their footing to start the 2023-2024 NBA campaign. They are only 1-6 on the road this season, but they are 8-0 at home. Right now, they are a slightly above-average basketball team right now. Your record is a pretty good indicator of how well they are functioning together on the floor. Last night, on November 19, LeBron led the charge against an up-and-coming Houston Rockets team. Their first matchup was a blowout, with the Rockets thoroughly handling the visitors, 128-94. If you have been keeping up with the NBA, you know that Dillon Brooks, one of LeBron’s latest pests is on Houston. Any time he can get a win over James, you know he will relish in it.

Well, the season series is now split with the Lakers defending their home floor in a narrow 105-104 win. It took a season-high for LeBron to keep the team humming at Crypto.com Arena. He dropped 37 points with six rebounds and eight assists. While this game does mean a ton right now to either ball club, there was a funny moment that came out of it.

During the second quarter, James and teammate Christian Wood met up to celebrate. He supposedly “passed a blunt” to him making a joke about Christian’s last name. Stephen A. Smith, the world-renowned sports analyst, saw the video on X and he tweeted at LeBron suggesting he was smoking something he should not be. “Don’t even make me say it… @KingJames.” The Lakers superstar, responded with Stephen A.’s signature punchline, “Stay off the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddd! with tons of laughing emojis.” Smith has been using that iconic line for years on national television and it is a treat anytime he gets to make a reference to it.

Lakers Fan Injures Himself During Halfcourt Shot Promotion: Watch

Overall, the Lakers have had a decent start to the season at 8-6. If you are a Lakers fan, you can’t be too upset with how the season has begun. Last year, their start to the season was atrocious, however, they still managed to get to the Western Conference Finals. This season, the roster is a bit more fleshed out. Moreover, they have a healthy Anthony Davis and a LeBron James who is determined to win an in-season tournament. At this point, it must be nice being a supporter for the team

Unfortunately, there is one Lakers fan who is not having a good time right now. Last night, the Lakers hosted their usual halfcourt shot promo at the Crypto.com Arena. This is where a fan can win $50K or more by hitting a shot from halfcourt. If you remember, a whole bunch of fans won it last year. The fan below, however, suffered a horrible fate. As you will see, he went up to take the shot, however, he immediately clutched his ankle and calf in pain upon landing.

The fan was eventually helped off of the court, however, the embarrassment here probably still lingers. After all, this happened on live television, which makes it pretty brutal. At the end of the day, fans are going to have to stretch before they do this stuff, in the future. Otherwise, they may just find themselves in a similar position. Hopefully, this fan will be okay and the injury won’t be all that serious. Otherwise, this could be a long road to recovery, especially if it is an Achilles as some have stated.

In an old interview from last year, Skilla Baby revealed that while he knows LeBron is good, he just simply does not like him. He hates some of his moves and does not care for the way he has gone about his career. Overall, it was quite a bit of hate, and LeBron ended up seeing it. Sure, the interview happened a year ago, however, it has resurfaced which led to LeBron seeing it.

According to VladTV, James had a pretty humorous response on his Instagram story. “Crazy thing is I HATE ME TOO!!” LeBron wrote. Ultimately, LeBron knows that he isn’t going to win everyone over. Even 21 years into his career, there are still a whole lot of people who don’t care for him and never will. Regardless, he has accomplished a whole lot, and that is all that really matters. Whether or not Skilla Baby comes around eventually, is a whole different story.

The world of NBA basketball isn’t the only pop culture sphere that got shook up by Dwight Howard’s sexual assault accusations. For those unaware, a man named Stephen Harper claimed that he forced him into a threesome with another man with a cross-dressing, full-bearded male referred to as Kitty, and that he assaulted him. While the star athlete denied all accusations, saying that they only engaged in “consensual kissing,” people continue to take shots at this horrible alleged act. For example, 50 Cent recently reposted a picture of him, Denzel Washington, and Top Dawg Entertainment boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffifth courtside at a Lakers game. Since the picture featured Howard towering over them, this is what the rapper used to take aim at him.

“@dangerookipawaa [Top Dawg’s Instagram handle] gonna say you made eye contact with Dwight Howard,” 50 Cent’s post’s caption read. “Man me and Denzel thought that motherf***er was alright man. WTF.” Then, Howard actually responded to Fif’s jabs in the comments section of his post. “Glad I put a smile on your face,” he added with a laughing emoji. It’s unclear how much of this is legitimate beef and how much of it is just trolling or making light of the situation, but from the looks of it, neither side is too happy with the other.

Meanwhile, this is the statement from Dwight Howard’s team to AllHipHop concerning the allegations that 50 Cent referred to. “This is a civil case that was made public for profit,” it posits. “In this case, the accuser is solely suing Dwight Howard and has refrained from suing the other party in which he claims to be involved. It is important to know that these matters were never about sexual assault. This was merely about money and greed. Such individuals, have made continuous attempts to elicit payment from Dwight. This has resulted in intimidation of not only Dwight, his family and friends have also been targeted as well. The accuser took to social media, only after being ignored by Howard.

“Over the duration of several years the accuser has set out to hire attorneys. Just hours before the 2023-2024 NBA season tips off, we have some breaking news that is quite surprising. It has nothing to do with any of the players. Instead, it is about the NBA as an organization and its brand image. According to multiple reports, including TMZ Sports, the league has been under an ongoing investigation by the United States Department of Justice. The reason is that Ice Cube’s Big3 league feels there are anticompetitive behaviors in practice from its longstanding counterpart.

The Big3’s aura comes from former NBA players going against each other. It has been in place since 2017 and it is a great league in general. However, they feel the NBA has been working to essentially slowly eliminate them in numerous ways. Namely, they are allegedly “preventing sponsors and other potential partners from doing business.”

In fact, Big3 claims that players have shown interest in playing in it, but they have been denied access. The same goes for referees and owners. Giannis Antetokounmpo Inks Three-Year Extension Worth $186 Million: Report

The Eastern Conference might consistently run through Milwaukee, Wisconsin over the next three seasons. Perennial MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo is officially staying in green and white. According to multiple reports, including Uproxx, the Greek Freak has just agreed on a three-year $186 million contract extension. What a sigh of relief for this franchise. Giannis made plenty of statements that he was not fully committed until the front office showed their desire to compete for titles. Well, they responded to his wishes. Bringing in Damian Lillard solved everything. Furthermore, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski says that the deal includes a player option for the 2027-2028 campaign.

Besides keeping Giannis in a Bucks jersey, maybe the most important part is that his and Dame’s contracts align perfectly. The star point guard’s deal expires in 2027 as well, so that will be another offseason to pay attention to. While it was difficult to see Jrue Holiday be shipped to Boston, there is no doubt that the offensive firepower will be even more formidable. Giannis put up 31 points per game and Damian averaged 32.

When he announced his return to the city of Cleveland and the Cavaliers franchise that summer, he and the premium audio brand came together to create a truly spectacular commercial. It featured Hozier’s hit song “Take Me to Church” and it was pure magic. This latest one from these two icons might be another one that will be etched into the history books for ads as well.

This one features LeBron, soccer talent for Manchester City, Erling Haaland, his dad, Savannah James, and her sons Bronny and Bryce. It is a really hard-hitting commercial with Savannah and Haaland’s dad leaving voicemails to their loved ones about the upcoming season. The most interesting part of it all is what Bron’s wife says to him. Uproxx is credited for the quotes from the ad. She says to him, “Tell them you’re not done until you play with your son.” The first cut goes to Bronny. Then, she challenges him further, “And then do that again.” After that it goes to Bryce.

It is public knowledge amongst basketball fans that LeBron wants to play with his sons, namely Bronny. However, it is not going to be the easiest of challenges to complete.
