Bad Bunny Brings Out Arcangel During Surprise Concert

Bad Bunny is no stranger to giving back and he often translates his success into charity for his native Puerto Rico. The musical mega-star held his Bonita Tradicion event for the 4th time earlier this week through his foundation Good Bunny. For the event, he gave out presents to Puerto Rican children and even hosted a meet and greet with some of them afterward. But on top of the presents he already handed out, he had yet another surprise gift for fans in attendance.

Bad Bunny took the opportunity to play a surprise performance for the crowd. He even had frequent collaborator Arcangel in attendance to perform alongside him. During the show, he stopped to say a few words about the strength of his community. “There are few who believe in neighborhood people, in village people. But great people have come out of the neighborhood where I come from… The government and the people don’t believe in places like these,” the singer said according to a translation on Twitter. Bad Bunny Plays Surprise Puerto Rico Show

Earlier this month, Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner officially broke up. The two began dating earlier this year and popped up at places like a Drake concert in LA. In an interview earlier this year Bunny lambasted fans who felt entitled to know all the details of his life and the pair’s relationship. After breakup rumors swirled for weeks it was officially confirmed that the relationship was over.

Earlier this year, Bad Bunny released his new album nadie sabe lo que va a pasar manana. The massive 80-minute undertaking spawned numerous hits. The speculation that Cardi B and Offset got back together started after the two spent Christmas together, decorating the trees and giving nice presents to their two children, Kulture and Wave. Because of this, many wondered if the tension between the two had been put aside for the holiday, or entirely altogether.

Since then, Cardi B has seemingly shut down any rumors of a reconciliation. In a post claiming that the two were spotted at Travis Scott’s concert, Cardi liked a comment that had a gif pointing out that it was made up.

“I want to start 2024 fresh, open,” she also shared during a recent Instagram live broadcast. “I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited! New look, new life, new everything… I’ve been going so hard for 2024 to go directly as I want it to. I feel like in 2017 I was single, and that’s when I worked the hardest.”

Is The Travis Scott Skin Coming Back To ‘Fortnite?’

2023 saw Travis Scott make a triumphant return to the spotlight after taking a year off in the wake of the tragedy at his 2021 Astroworld Festival. While the fallout still hasn’t settled (and neither have the families of the victims currently suing Travis and Live Nation over the 10 deaths and hundreds of injuries), Scott was able to roll out his new album Utopia and its accompanying Circus Maximus tour without incident, and by all accounts both have done extremely well.

However, one place he’s yet to return is Epic Games’ massively popular shooter Fortnite. The nearly unbiquitous game had a pretty year of its own, expanding its game modes and incorporating even more celebrity partnerships into the game, including appearances from Eminem and The Weeknd. While Travis Scott and Fortnite are two of the biggest brands around, fans of both have been disappointed that the rapper’s highly coveted character skin has not returned to the game since its debut in 2020 as part of Fortnite‘s first-ever virtual concert event.

The concert, which broke several Fortnite records, was accompanied by the skin for a limited time. Since the skin has not een made available since, it’s become one of the rarest in-game skins. Fans who missed out the first time around have wondered online whether the rapper had been blacklisted due to the Astroworld tragedy, but Epic CEO Tim Sweeney refuted those claims earlier this year.

“Travis Scott is welcome in Fortnite,” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m just not in the loop on item shop rotations so I don’t know what’s coming when, or what specific agreements with celebrities and brands affect the timing of those decisions.” Considering how much work goes into these things, it’s no surprise that the limited-edition release hasn’t come back; besides, Travis’ prior brand collabs have proven that he’s protective of his own brand and he may not even be interested in diluting the hype around his Fortnite skin by bringing it back.

Meanwhile, Dot Esports reported that a prominent leaker datamined assets from the game’s Test Item Shop, suggesting that it might return sometime in the future. For now, all fans can do is keep their fingers crossed and hope he headlines another in-game event. At least he wouldn’t have to worry about his own stage props attacking him there.

Summer Walker Is Cooking Up Some Vocals For Possible Remix Of SZA And Ty Dolla $ign’s “Hit Different”

There is no doubt that Summer Walker, SZA, and Ty Dolla $ign possess some of the best talent within the R&B lane. All three have some top-tier projects and hits under their respective belts. Back in 2020, SZA and Ty came through with their smash single “Hit Different.” It was a fairly unexpected release and it dropped around the time SZA was having issues with TDE. Offset Brings His Son To A Travis Scott Concert

While many fans took the opportunity to roast the rapper for using the budget airline, many others have come to his defense, including Rick Ross.

When NoJumper shared the clip, Ross responded: “Wise man. I did it 15 yrs straight.” Another user joked: “NoJumper is committed to the degradation of the Black culture.” Many others explained why he might be flying the cheaper option.

Tyga And Black Chyna Allegedly Having Guests At Their Son’s Baptism Sign NDAs

After a few months of back and forth in a legal custody battle, Tyga and Blac Chyna appear to have settled things. Chyna had publicly claimed that the she had made numerous attempts to settle things amicably outside of court, but her rapper ex was insistent on taking the legal route. Whether or not that public testimony helped or not is unclear, but the two appear to have settled things. Earlier this month, news broke that the pair had resolved things. They took the out-of-court route to decide on a custody agreement which allegedly has Chyna seeing their child every weekend.

Now a few weeks after that resolution, the pair are coming together for their son King’s baptism. But according to Hollywood Unlocked, the pair are making guests sign hefty non-disclosure agreements. The leaked papers they shared claim that guests looking to leak any information from the baptism would have to pay $500k. The documents also claim that guests will have all of their electronic devices confiscated and stored for the extent of the baptism. Lil Wayne Compared His Rap Career To An Iconic Basketball Player, As They Both Started Young

Lil Wayne recently sat down for an interview with Taylor Rooks from Bleacher Report, where he revealed the basketball player he thought was comparable to his own rap career.

While he didn’t go for Michael Jordan, he did choose another iconic player to represent himself. And he had some logic behind it.

“I would say that I’m like LeBron,” Lil Wayne said. “I dropped my first solo album when I was 14, and that’s the same album I’m talking about that went platinum. And I’ve been doing this at this pace ever since, just like him.”

The rapper also felt comparable a bit to Tom Brady, if he was going by the football side of things. As Lil Wayne pointed out, he felt that people questioned if he would retire from music the same way.

“You remember Tom Brady, it was every year, even though he was winning the Super Bowl and all that, it still was, ‘Is this the year he’s gonna retire?’” he added.

Finally, Lil Wayne jumped back to the subject of LeBron James, when he mentioned who he thought would replace him when James retires. “To me, I think the obvious answer is Ja [Morant],” he shared. “The NBA is entertainment. What I mean by that is there was always Michael Jordan and that was, you know, like God… Ja’s teams are actually competitive when he’s there and when he’s doing his thing.”
