Overall, Drake is in a bad spot right now. This is due to the fact that Kendrick Lamar came through with a blowout victory in their beef. “Not Like Us” is about to be the biggest song in the world and it has even beaten some of Drake’s Spotify records. Moreover, “The Heart Part 6” has been clowned all week thanks to its poor attempts at refuting the things Kendrick alleged on his songs. In “The Heart Part 6,” Drake also claims that he fed Kendrick the information about an 11-year-old daughter. This is a narrative that was prevalent on Twitter, and Drake co-opted it for his song in an attempt to make Kendrick look bad.

Some took Drizzy at his word in all of this, while others were incredibly skeptical. Well, it seems like the skeptics have come away with the win on this one. In the latest stream from DJ Akademiks, the hip-hop commentator admits that Drake’s team had no idea where Kendrick got the 11-year-old daughter information from. This essentially alleges that Drake made up the whole OVO mole narrative. As for where Kendrick really got his information from, that remains to be seen. One could speculate that he allegedly fabricated it in an attempt to make OVO scramble and implode from the inside out.

Drake Was Stunned By Daughter Revelation

Either way, Drake has been called out on two lies so far. The other involves his claims that Dave Free and Whitney Alford may have had a child together. DJ Akademiks debunked this claim on the very same stream. Needless to say, “The Heart Part 6” is not aging very well right now. That said, Drake has yet to comment on what Akademiks said on his stream. Only time will tell if that is going to change.

21 Savage is an artist who had been relatively quiet on social media throughout the beef between Drake, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar. However, yesterday, the artist came out and said that he is not about picking sides. He loves Metro and he loves Drake, and he believes that they will eventually be able to patch things up. It was an incredibly mature way of looking at things, and fans commended 21 for being a real one in all of this. Although he did find himself at the center of another beef on Sunday.

As many of you already know, Metro Boomin and Soulja Boy are embroiled in a feud that was sparked by an old Metro tweet in which he made fun of Soulja Boy. This subsequently led to some tweets that were beyond disrespectful. Soulja essentially began making fun of Metro Boomin and his mother, who was tragically killed in an act of domestic violence. Yesterday was Mother’s Day, which made the diss that much worse. Well, as you can see down below, 21 Savage issued a response that will definitely make Soulja Boy think twice about continuing with his antics.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been beefing for what feels like a full month and a half. Overall, the feud has been going on for over 10 years, but the climax has finally taken place. Following the release of “Not Like Us” and “The Heart Part 6,” it was clear that Lamar had won the war. Although he still has some allegations to address, it has been made abundantly clear that fans are feeling Kendrick’s output more. It has been a rough week for Drake, and it could get a whole lot worse if “Not Like Us” becomes the number one song in the world.

Yesterday, DJ Akademiks was on stream and once again, it was not looking good for Drake. At one point, Akademiks spoke on some of the lies that were spewed during the feud. In the eyes of Ak, Kendrick certainly lied on Drake during multiple points. However, as it pertains to Drake, he noted that the Dave Free and Whitney Alford claims were completely false. As many of you know, Drake kept trying to say that Dave Free and Whitney Alford had a child together. He doubled down on this in the cover art for “The Heart Part 6,” although it’s clear that this was just a narrative device.

For now, the only allegation against Kendrick that is sticking, is the domestic violence claims. 21 Savage Believes Drake & Metro Boomin Will Resolve Their Beef

21 Savage isn’t picking sides between Drake and Metro Boomin’s ongoing beef and instead says they’re both his brothers. When fans began asking him about the feud on Instagram Live, he suggested he thinks they’ll be back on good terms eventually. “Don’t keep coming on to my motherf*cking Live talking about no motherf*cking beef,” Savage said. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Those n***as going to figure that sh*t out eventually.”

When DJ Akademiks shared a clip of the stream on Instagram, fans had mixed opinions on Savage’s neutrality. “I can’t kick it with someone who’s neutral, for some reason I always hate those people more then the person I got beef with,” one fan wrote. Another user countered: “Savage showing he a real n***a cause he ain’t picking side he basically saying you n****s get it together.”

Metro Boomin kicked off the feud with Drake by teaming up with Kendrick Lamar for the song, “Like That,” back in March. In the ensuing months, he teamed up with several other artists interested in dissing the Toronto rapper including The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, and more. Most recently, he dropped the diss beat, “BBL Drizzy,” while asking fans to put lyrics to the song. Drake addressed him on his track, “Push Ups,” remarking: “Metro, shut your ho ass up and make some drums, n***a.”

King Combs Drops 50 Cent Diss Track In Retaliation For Diddy Posts, 50 Laughs Him Off

King Combs has shared a diss track aimed at 50 Cent in which he addresses the backlash his father, Diddy, is facing amid several ongoing alleged sexual misconduct lawsuits. Combs also speaks on the Homeland Security raids conducted on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami properties. Akademiks played the song during his live stream on Sunday night.

“I dare one of you n****s scream out ‘no diddy’” Combs raps on the song, referencing the viral meme relating to his father’s allegations. Later, he adds: “Police raid the crib like they think we selling crack, but we out here selling tracks / multimillion dollar plaques.” From there, he brings up 50 Cent, who has since responded to the track on Instagram.

As for that response, 50 captioned a photo of Combs and Diddy. He wrote: “I feel so threatened by the things Christian is saying on his record. I’m afraid for my life, please don’t hurt me guys. He began by wishing him a happy Mother’s Day before going into a tirade against both Metro and 21 Savage. He was unhappy with a post that Metro made on Twitter years ago.

“I don’t give a f*ck!!!! It’s always cool when a n***a come at me but when I defend myself it’s too much huh?! F*ck that n***a mama!!!!!!!!!! Despite the vitriol from Soulja, Metro kept it calm throughout the day and posted a photo of his late mother with the caption: “Happy Mother’s Day to the greatest of all time.” As for the resurfaced tweet that had Soulja so unset, Metro apparently wrote back in 2012: “My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Drake Reportedly Created His Own Security Company Amid Recent Trespassing Incidents

Following the recent trespassing incidents on Drake’s Toronto property, local outlet CBC News noticed a vehicle parked outside with the name, “Jungle Lion Security,” on it. When they did some digging, they came to learn the company has no website and the Ontario Transportation Ministry records show the license plate number on the car is registered to Drake himself. Additionally, the only name mentioned with the company in a Ministry of the Solicitor General report is Nessel Beezer, better known as Drake’s longtime associate, Chubbs.

The update comes after someone shot a security guard in a drive-by shooting outside of the Toronto rapper’s mansion, last week. It’s unclear whether the man worked with Jungle Lion Security. In the days since that incident, several more people have attempted to break onto the property.

While Drake hasn’t spoken at length about the incidents, he did comment on the abundance of media coverage his property has been getting over the last week in a post on his Instagram Story. “@cp24breakingnews can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie I’m trying to sleep anytime after 3pm works for me,” he wrote.

Q-Tip Receives Honorary Doctorate From Berklee & Speaks At Commencement Ceremony

Q-Tip accepted an honorary doctorate from Berklee College of Music alongside jazz artist Ledisi and Puerto Rican bandleader Gilberto Santa Rosa on Saturday. The school recognized them for their “profound influence as artists, educators, and activists.” For Q-Tip specifically, they mentioned “his forward-thinking artistic vision, which merges rap, jazz, and other styles with socially conscious lyrics, as well as for his impact as a producer, actor, educator, and cultural ambassador.” In turn, the legendary A Tribe Called Quest rapper spoke to the graduating class at their commencement ceremony.

“To choose this path [of the artist] is a courageous choice indeed. You are handed the task to be courageous in your personal lives, to find balance between intellect and instinct… to not let bad choices define you, but to refine you,” he said to the class of 2024. He added that accomplishments such as these serve as “precious mantras . . . to remind you that you are worthy, and that you can do it. You got this!”

Meek Mill paid tribute to his mom on Twitter, on Sunday, in honor of Mother’s Day by recalling a time she paid his bail while he was locked up. He explained that he needed to come up with $9,500 and none of his friends were coming through. “When I was locked up my bail was 9500 most these so call homies didn’t put up anything … my mom had to throw a fish fry to raise the money to get me home!” Meek wrote. “Happy Mother’s Day love you 4L and after … happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers gone.”

While many fans expressed their support for Meek in the replies, many of the top responses poked fun at the Philadelphia rapper. “Bro took a Mother’s Day tweet and made it about his homies being fake,” one user wrote. Another added: “Bro couldn’t just say Happy Mother’s Day like a regular mf.”

The duo has been seen buying out designer stores, and of course, setting the stage for her upcoming series on his new Tronix Network. Now, they’ve revealed yet another project that they’ve been collaborating on as of late, a new song.

The raunchy track, titled “Throwing Stacks,” comes ahead of an upcoming Tronix Music short film, Hangover 69. Reportedly, they’re paying for the production with Ray J’s impressive $75 million Raycon deal. An official release date for the entire project has not yet been revealed, though fans are looking forward to it.

Sukihana & Ray J Unveil “Throwing Stacks”
