Suffolk, England’s Latitude Festival took 2020 off for COVID reasons, but the fest actually went ahead in 2021. Things are a go in 2022 as well, as organizers have announced the lineup for this year’s event, which is set to go down at Henham Park from July 21 to 24.

The headliners are certainly true to the festival’s UK setting, as at the top of the bill are Lewis Capaldi, Foals, and Snow Patrol. Other highlights include Phoebe Bridgers, Maggie Rogers, Little Simz, Modest Mouse, Fontaines DC, Caroline Polachek, Rina Sawayama, Mdou Moctar, Nilüfer Yanya, Let’s Eat Grandma, and Bartees Strange.

Kid Cudi Wants To Hop On A Remix Of Zendaya And Labrinth’s New ‘Euphoria’ Song ‘I’m Tired’

Yesterday, Zendaya and Labrinth unveiled the sprawling song, “I’m Tired,” that played at the end of the overwhelming Euphoria finale. A version was released in early February after the fourth episode without Zendaya, but her vocals caught the attention of the watchers who lingered during the credits of the show on Sunday night, especially since the lyrics seemed very relevant to Rue’s character.

After tweeting the track, famous rapper Kid Cudi quote-tweeted it and noted that he wants in: “Please dear GOD put me on a remix of this @Zendaya @Labrinth,” he wrote. Zendaya responded by saying, “Yoooo! What a dream that would be… @Labrinth ???” Labrinth agreed: “Let’s open a new dimension,” he wrote.

Even though the Euphoria season is over, hopefully we’ll at least get some new music to hold us over while the cast prepares for the next season. Fans, meanwhile, are still wondering about the ballad that Dominic Fike’s character Elliot launched into for five whole minutes which sparked a lot of talk online. It sparked so much talk that Fike reacted to it, saying he’d been humbled. The full soundtrack for the episode included Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” Francis Lai’s “Concerto Pour La Fin D’un Amour,” and more.

For his most significant release yet, rising Miami producer-turned-recording artist Reazy Renegade hits the court with hip hop stars K Camp and Rich The Kid in the release of his new single, titled “Ballin’ (Kevin Durant),” out now via Hits Only Music & Mastermind Artists / EMPIRE.

The song delivers a heavy bass foundation like a ball dripping down the court with the three artists saucing it with basketball-inspired rhymes that praise the popular Brooklyn Nets’ power forward. K Camp and his signature sing-a-long hook style spit, “Ball like I’m Brook, ball like Kevin Durant (Let’s go) / That boy a dub, I know he don’t stand a chance (Uh-huh) / Glock in my hand, keep a knot in my pants (A Glock in my-) / Glock in my hand, keep a knot in my- (Skrrt, hey).”

Reazy follows Camp with a trendy obnoxious flow, rapping, “I walk with a dirty stick / Pull up at a bank with a bankroll lit (Skrrt) / I was eighteen, hit a hundred band lick (Lick) / These n*ggas ain’t even rich as my bitch (My bitch).”

On the production side, Reazy’s resume includes a laundry list of a-listers, like Young Dolph, Fabolous, and Dave East. In 2021, he released a few buzzworthy songs in “Kiss & Make Up” and “C.O.D.” This year, with the popularity of “Ballin,” Reazy Renegade preps a forthcoming debut album, expected late-2022.

Jim Jones adds high-fashion runway model to his multi-hyphenate profile as he hits the runway with an all-star cast as part of this year’s Off-White show on Monday (February 28) at Paris Fashion Week. 

The Harlem native surprised fans of his involvement in the Fall-Winter 2022/2023 by Virgil Abloh (In memoriam) show with a series of Instagram posts that ranged from the entertainer eating in Paris to sitting in the make-up chair, preparing to walk to walking the runway in an all-egg plant Off-White outfit with a lavender undershirt. Jones walked with icons in both fashion and sports like Serena Williams, Cindy Crawford, and Kendell Jenner.

“Talkin bout my walk told u I’m a #RunwaySteppa I’m back on my DiddyBop had to put that shit a n real quick,” Jim Jones wrote in an Instagram caption with video of him posing in front a chandelier, in the center of the Off White showroom. “yal mad cause I’m a runway model a rapper and a trainer lol Came to the @off____white fashion in my @off____white turn it to a splashin show.”

It was a proud moment for Jones and Hip Hop as well. The Harlem native was showered with praise by peers and fans alike in the hip hop community on social media throughout the entire fashion show. Commentary ranging from celebratory to comic relief.

“I’m just gonna say this you get it from your mama! Do the damn thing! You got to love him! Because I love him all the way up to God,” Mama Jones, Jim Jones’ mother, comments.

“Legendary sh*t,” Yella Beezy comments. “1 time for Harlem @jimjonescapo,” Kanye West captioned soon after in an Instagram story showing Jim Jones walking the runway. “Walking like you had it on you and the boys was getting close,” followed media correspondent Wayno, who wrote on Jim Jones’ Instagram post.

“Gooooooooo jimmy,” Fat Joe commented with fire emoji.

“cat walk capo!” commented Angie Martinez with three fire emojis.

“I never saw you walk like that before? Lol,” Maino comments with wide-eyed face emoji.

In other news, several days before the show, Jones shared that he was in the studio with the Migos working on new music. Dominic Fike Responded To The Influx Of ‘Euphoria’ Memes: ‘The Internet Remains Undefeated’

Aside from having a budding music career, Dominic Fike has also been popping off lately for his role in the beloved TV show about deranged teens, Euphoria. On the season finale last night, his character, Elliot, had a lengthy musical performance that elicited quite a response from the audience. I mean, a lot of scenes from that show tend to get Twitter up in arms, but this one, in particular, generated a ton of memes.

Apparently, unpaid internet content creators had such an impact, that plenty of the reaction made its way back to Fike, who had no choice but to laugh along with the audience at the surreal moment, sharing plenty of his favorites on Instagram stories today. He also shared a selfie after a few of the better video clips, letting fans know that he appreciates the roasting. “The internet remains undefeated,” he wrote. “I am humbled.”

Jean Dawson Sports A Full Face Cast In His Fully-Clothed ‘Porn Acting’ Video

From his “Turbo Radio” merch collection, to touring with hip-hop collective Brockhampton, and even collaborating with indie slacker rock legend Mac DeMarco, rising hip-hop star Jean Dawson is doing it all. His first release, Pixel Bath, let fans into Dawson’s world, and a subsequent documentary called Burnout was a peek into his creative process. Industry veterans like Travis Barker have already picked up on Dawson’s potential, and he shows no signs of slowing down in the near future.

The 26-year-old is half Mexican and half Black, and grew up in Tijuana, Mexico, giving him a particularly unique view on the world. Today, he’s dropping a new video for the song “Porn Acting,” a visual and song he explains in the following way: “We are all the same, we are all bags of flesh, tryna prove that we’re not as bad as we know we are.” The track starts off a little sing-songy, and quickly devolves into a more chaotic, heavier melody, as Dawson stars in the clip, moving from audience to stage in an abandoned movie theater, and sporting a full face cast throughout the clip. Michelle’s ‘Pose’ Video Uses The New York Subway As A Backdrop

Those who are intimately familiar with the New York subway system will find Michelle’s “Pose” video highly relatable. Hey, if stars like John Mulaney and LCD Soundsystem can venerate the storied public transportation system on SNL, why wouldn’t the six-piece turn to it as a backdrop themselves? The video, which is for a song taken from upcoming project, After Dinner We Talk Dreams, was choreographed by band member Emma Lee. The album will be released on March 4, just in time for the band’s upcoming tour dates opening for Mitski, as well as several headlining shows in North America and Europe.

Back in September, the group announced their album with the lead single, “Syncopate,” and followed that track up with “Mess U Made,” before releasing “Expiration Date” at the top of the year. The band features the rare of four female vocalists, Sofia D’Angelo, Layla Ku, Emma Lee and Jamee Lockard, who sing in layered harmonies, while members Julian Kaufman Charlie Kilgore are mostly focused on production. A Sesame Street Meme Name-Checking Chingy, Of All People, Got A Beauty Executive Fired

John Demsey, a senior executive at makeup company Estée Lauder, was fired today over posting an “offensive” meme that somehow combined COVID-19 mockery with Sesame Street characters and, of all people, St. Louisan rapper Chingy, according to The Wall Street Journal and CNN Business.

Demsey, whose former title of executive group president oversaw brands under the Estée Lauder umbrella including Clinique and Mac, had posted the meme to Instagram, where he generally shares memes and brand-related advertising. The meme in question featured a spoof Little Golden Book cover with Big Bird visiting an apparently sick Snuffleupagus with a surgical mask on under the caption, “My n**** Snuffy done got the ‘rona at a Chingy concert.”

Apparently, not everyone found it as amusing as he did, prompting him to take down the meme, replacing it with an apology. “I am terribly sorry and deeply ashamed that I hurt so many people when I made the horrible mistake of carelessly reposting a racist meme without reading it beforehand,” it read. “There are not enough words to express me remorse and sorrow.Not only did I hurt many people whom I respect, the terrible mistake that I made has undermined everything I have been working for since I began my career 31 years ago. The meme is the furthest thing from what I stand for and I should have never reposted it. I am so sorry that I let down the company that I have dedicated my life’s work to as well as its employees, artists, friends and colleagues. I hope that in time people will judge me, not for this awful mistake, but for my lifetime of words and actions, which demonstrate my respect for all people.”

Hey look, I can only speak for myself, but I didn’t read that as racist. Maybe a 60-year-old white guy shouldn’t have shared it, but it’s pretty funny. A lot of folks on Twitter seem to agree, as Chingy has suddenly found himself trending for the first time since maybe “Dem Jeans” came out in 2006. Let’s take a look at the reactions, shall we?

Apparently, the meme itself originated over on Reddit and Demsey was amused enough to share it without considering the whole “n-word” angle. There’s also this tweet, which, like all tweets, is suspect, but relevant. Also, Chingy concerts/tickets seem to be a recurring theme in the account’s meme-making.

Sorry to that man. Something tells me he’ll be fine, but as long as we’re on the subject, Chingy was actually a pretty good rapper and deserved better. I’ll die on this hill. Drop something while your name is hot, Ching-A-Ling, I will support you, even if the streets say you look like a youth pastor/substitute teacher now. Between this and the whole Rocco fiasco a few months ago, it seems like Sesame Street has gone viral for a lot of strange — but hilarious — reasons.

Someone Put A Fake Version Of Kanye West’s ‘Donda 2’ On iTunes, Fooling Enough People To Chart

Whether you think Kanye West’s decision to make access to his new album Donda 2 exclusive to his stem player is a genius idea or a massive grift, it looks like someone out there has found a way to (temporarily) capitalize on it with a scam of their own. A fake version of Donda 2 is reportedly charting on iTunes after being uploaded under the misleading — but not that misleading — name “Wanye Kest,” according to Complex.

The facts that the name is obviously wrong, the tracklist is too short, and that Kanye vowed not to release his album to DSPs haven’t deterred fans from streaming the fake album; according to Complex, Donda 2 by Wanye Kest has reached No. 40 on the Top Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Incidentally, this isn’t the first time someone uploaded a fake album purported to be a highly anticipated one from a big-name superstar to Apple Music. In 2018, fake albums made up of leaked material supposedly from Beyonce and SZA popped up, while in 2019, even Rihanna had to react after an “unofficial” version of her ninth album found its way online. Meanwhile, in 2020, Mario Judah used the hype around Playboi Carti’s forthcoming album Whole Lotta Red to release his own version and hijack some of its buzz — at least until Carti actually dropped his album.

All those fake albums — save for Mario Judah’s, because it actually had his name on it — were eventually taken down, so unfortunately for Wanye Kest, their ill-gotten gains likely won’t last. For now, the only way to get Donda 2 for real remains shelling out $200 for a stem player — or using the slightly shadier method some of his fans cooked up to avoid such a fee.
