Diddy’s latest lawsuit arrived alongside a slew of new damning allegations, as well as rumors he was hooking up with fellow male celebs. Producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accuses the Bad Boy Records mogul of groping his genitals, showing him explicit videos, and more. He also claims that Diddy told him he slept with two fellow artists, though their names were redacted in the suit.
One of the individuals was described as a “Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.” The other “performed at the Super Bowl and had a successful Vegas residency.” These descriptions prompted speculation that the artists in question are Meek Mill and Usher. Since the chatter began, Meek Mill has been desperately denying the allegations on Twitter/X, insisting they’re nothing but an attempt to bring him down.
Meek has even been wrapped up in an online feud with DJ Akademiks, who perpetuated the rumors on his platform. Today, the Philly-born performer decided it was time to slow down, however. Oddly enough, he claims his decision was influenced by a call from the governor. “The governor called me and checked me I took it down after I explain to him this the guy that powered the biggest rap beefs that killed some of my friends playing undercover,” he wrote, also adding a link to his new EP Heathenism. This later prompted a response from Wack 100, who insisted it was time to give it up.

J Balvin is celebrating the ladies. Today (February 29), J Balvin has shared his new single, “Triple S,” which stands for “Suelta, Soltera, Sin Nadie Que La Joda” — which when loosely translated to English means “Single, Strong and Not to Be Messed With.”
On “Triple S,” Balvin teams up with De La Ghetto and Jowell & Randy, tapping into his reggaeton roots. Over a rhythmic, percussive beat, Balvin and crew champion strong women, celebrating their determination and strength.
In the song’s accompanying video, Balvin, De La Ghetto, and Jowell & Randy carry out a master plan for a brilliant woman mafia leader. The video, which takes place at Charles Sieger’s luxurious estate Chateau Artisan, contains a twist, ultimately leading this woman to the top.
For this new era of his illustrious music career, Balvin is pulling out all the stops. This April, Balvin will perform at Coachella on the main stage. And then soon after, he will embark on the Que Bueno Volver A Verte International Tour, during which, he will visit 20 European cities.
It’s no secret that the rollout of Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s joint album, Vultures 1, was major. After months of delays and teasing, the duo unleashed the album in full earlier this month. The release came just after their short-notice listening party in Ye’s hometown of Chicago.
Following the release, they went on to host listening events in New York, Miami, and more. The pair even hosted various subsequent events in Europe, reportedly selling out arenas in Bologna, Milan, and Paris. Of course, this is bound to raise questions about how much dough they managed to rake in through the events. According to Billboard‘s recent estimates, the number is pretty impressive.
Vultures 1 Listening Parties Reportedly Grossed Over $12 Million

The outlet reports that Ye and Ty’s listening parties in New York and Chicago each brought in about $2.4 million in ticket sales. Sales figures for the European events were unavailable at the time of writing, but tickets were going for similar prices overseas as they were in the U.S., between $140-$220. As all shows are believed to have sold out, this brings the gross total to more than a whopping $12 million.
It doesn’t look like Ye and Ty Dolla Sign plan on slowing down anytime soon, either. Rumors that Ye will embark on a world tour sometime in the near future are brewing, and the second installment of Vultures is only days away. Vultures 2 is currently expected to drop on March 8 of this year. This will later be followed by the release of the project’s third installment, presumably dubbed Vultures 3, on April 5. Last week, NLE Choppa linked up with Lil Mabu to drop “Shotta Flow 7 Remix,” and the track’s accompanying music video got fans talking. The video features a woman who looks strikingly similar to Chrisean Rock, which many assumed was a nod to both rappers’ beef with her on and off again lover, Blueface.
Lil Mabu collaborated with Chrisean Rock on “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” last year, which features various jabs at the rapper. They were also speculated to be dating at one point, though it remains unclear whether or not there was any truth to those rumors. NLE Choppa has had his own fair share of issues with Blueface, even challenging the “Thotiana” performer to a boxing match in January.
Now, NLE Choppa has taken his shade a step further, taking to Instagram today to debut a new face tattoo of Chrisean. “Just Cause You Was In My Video @chrisean,” he captioned the photo, which shows him sitting in a bathroom holding a stack of cash. Of course, fans are shocked by the rapper’s alleged new ink, though most commenters are convinced it’s fake. “He trolling right?” one fan asks alongside a crying emoji. “It better be erasable,” another says.
Notably, Chrisean Rock showed off a similar tattoo last month. As far as fans know, however, hers is genuine. It features Blueface’s mugshot and takes up a majority of one of her cheeks. Her ink arrived shortly after Blueface went to jail for allegedly violating his probation, which prompted her to profess her love for the California native online. There’s no shame in romance for Dende. The Texas singer has a knack for letting his heart bleed on records nor letting a teardrop or two fall if the moment pushes him to that level of emotion. Along with the release of Wish You Were Here, Uproxx also caught up with Dende to discuss his start in music, his love for Usher, and his commitment to defending Arby’s at all costs.
What is your earliest memory of music?
My earliest memory of music is sitting at the lunch table in elementary school. This girl, Danielle, and I had a sing-off. People around the table were judging it. I don’t remember what song she sang, but she could not sing for real, and I sang “You Don’t Have to Call” by Usher. They voted for her, and I went and cried in the hall.
Who inspired you to take music seriously?
Funny enough, the person who inspired me to take music seriously was Chance The Rapper. Senior year of high school I begged my parents to let me go to his concert. They were kind of strict, and Acid Rap had just come out. I was obsessed, and at the time, he was just preaching independence and working really hard at making music.
Do you know how to play an instrument? If so, which one? If not, which instrument do you want to learn how to play?
I actually know how to play a couple of instruments. I know how to play piano, guitar, & drums. I was in drumline all through high school and some of college. The instrument that I wanna learn how to play is the saxophone.
What was your first job?
My first job was at Kroger, a grocery store in Texas. I was a — I don’t know my official title, I think it was a cart getter? I’d go get the carts. Eventually, I became a bagger, and then I became a cashier.
What is your most prized possession?
My most prized possession is my grandpa‘s rocking chair. It’s really not comfortable at all, but I love it. My dad gave it to me after his dad passed.
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is probably not reaching the potential that I know that I have. I’d hate to not live up to the standards I hold myself to.
Who is on your R&B/rap/afrobeats Mt. Rushmore?
My R&B, Mount Rushmore, is as follows: BOOM! We got Usher, we got Luther Vandross, we got Brandy… I don’t know how many heads are on Mount Rushmore.

Aight, I have 24 hours and unlimited resources let’s get it. First, I wake up, I look over to my left, and all I see is this nightstand and a lamp, and one of those old-school alarm clocks. The ones you still got a hit, but they were brown and they looked weird, but everybody’s grandma had them in their house, but that’s what I have. Then I look to the right, and all I see are those trays that people have bed-and-breakfast breakfast on. I have one of those and on that tray is just a mimosa and a cigar, it’s already lit, but it was just lit, and there’s nobody there.
So I sit there, I’m drinking this mimosa, I’m smoking a cigar in bed, and then the alarm goes off, and I smack the alarm, and I get out of bed. I get in my car, and in this timeline, I have a McLaren, and I drive that McLaren up to Six Flags, and I have a fast pass. I get on every ride five times. I return to my McLaren and drive to the movie theater. I love watching movies in the movie theater. I feel like it’s a dying art, and we need to appreciate it more. I watch every single one of the Harry Potter movies on the big screen in order, then I go home. When I get home I walk in, and there’s another mimosa and another cigar ready for me to go to bed. That’s what I’m doing for my 24 hours.

Usher. I could die a happy man.
If you could appear in a future season of a current TV show, which one would it be and why?
It would be That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime! I love anime, and it’s basically all I watch. I’d love to see myself animated.
Which celebrity do you admire or respect for their personality and why?
The celebrity who I admire for their personality is probably gonna be Tyler, The Creator. I feel like he’s always just wanted to be himself authentically, and I pride myself on doing the exact same thing.
Share your opinion on something no one could ever change your mind about.
To be honest with you, I will never let the internet or anyone else convince me that Arby’s isn’t good because I feel like we’ve all been conditioned by Twitter to make this running joke that Arby’s is terrible. But every time I ask someone if they’ve ever eaten Arby’s or when the last time they ate it they either have never eaten it or they ate it when they were like eight years old. So I challenge everyone to go to your nearest Arby’s, go get a buffalo chicken slider and the curly fries and then shut the hell up.
What is the best song you’ve ever heard in your life and what do you love about it?
The best song I’ve ever heard is “Almost Doesn’t Count” by Brandy. That song is amazing. My favorite thing about it is that the first verse feels like a hook. It’s crazy, but it’s amazing. It’s such a well-written song, I love it.
What’s your favorite city in the world to perform, and what’s a city you’re excited to perform in for the first time?
My favorite city to perform in so far is Atlanta because I love seeing all the black faces in the crowd, that makes me super happy. A city that I’m really excited to perform, and I have to do two of them, is gonna be DC and Toronto.
You are throwing a music festival. Give us the dream lineup of 5 artists that will perform with you and the location where it would be held.
So BOOM, my dream lineup, including myself, is going to be Lucky Daye, Usher, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Avril Lavigne. This sounds like it doesn’t make any sense, but that’s because it doesn’t, and that’s OK and we’re gonna do this in Malibu on the beach.
What would you be doing now if it weren’t for music?
To be honest with you, I’d probably still be doing AC work. I got my HVAC license and it pays pretty well.
If you could see five years into the future or go five years into the past, which one would you pick and why?
I would see five years into the future simply because I don’t think living in the past leads to anything productive.
What’s one piece of advice you’d go back in time to give to your 18-year-old self?
I would tell my 18-year-old self to accept help quicker.
It’s 2050. The world hasn’t ended, and people are still listening to your music. How would you like it to be remembered?
I’d like my music to be remembered as an impactful period in people’s lives. I remember what I was going through or where I was when I heard specific albums. I just wanna be able to be that for other people.

Following Cassie’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, which contained countless damning allegations, various individuals have come forward to accuse the Bad Boy Records founder of assault. In December, a woman alleged that she was raped by Diddy, Harve Pierre, and another unnamed man. She claims that the incident took place at an NYC studio in 2003 when she was 17 years old.
Since she filed her suit, Diddy and his team have been pushing for the woman to lose anonymity. They argue that the mogul and his codefendants would suffer prejudice if their identities were public while hers remained private. Now, they’ve scored a small victory in the case, as the judge has denied her motion to move forward anonymously.

ScHoolboy Q is dropping his new album Blue Lips in just a couple of hours at press time, and it’s been great to see him engage with excited fans online ahead of the release. Moreover, he recently answered a fan’s question on Twitter about the “cringiest lyric [he] ever wrote looking back.” “‘Make da p***y drip like a slitted wrist,’” the TDE MC replied on the social media platform. “[Two facepalm emojis] like braH embarrassing.” Of course, any great lyricist has at least a couple of duds on their track record, and it doesn’t take away from his many great bars. But folks are hoping that the 37-year-old doesn’t stoop back down to this level on this new LP.
Jokes aside, there is one person who would’ve definitely called out any weak lines on Blue Lips, and that’s none other than Jay-Z. After expressing his wishes to do so on Twitter -– and after “hip-hop Twitter” called it to action -– ScHoolboy Q was able to play the new album for Hov. Many within and outside of his Top Dawg camp reacted to this news excitedly online, let alone hardcore fans waiting for a new full-length record from him for a long time. We can’t help but wonder what other top-tier wordsmiths were able to take a peek behind the curtain for this project.
What’s more is that ScHoolboy Q’s album listening event for Blue Lips over the weekend fueled this excitement even more. One particular song sounds absolutely grimy, and in a clip circulating on social media, you can see fans go wild for it. We’re sure that the tracklist will contain a lot of peaks and valleys when it comes to energy and aggression. But it’s nice to see a lot of versatility from the teases, especially from such a big release.

Considering their strong bond as collaborators and industry peers, this consistent showing of love should come as no surprise.
Furthermore, the two recently linked up for the music video to their sole collaboration at press time, “Rich Baby Daddy” with SZA off of Drake’s 2023 album For All The Dogs. It was a really cheeky and comical visual treatment, and one that seemed to resonate with die-hards across fanbases. Some on either side might find it odd that he has such a fixation with Sexyy Red, but at the end of the day, it’s two hard-working artists giving each other props. What’s more is that she apparently took drastic measures to hide her pregnancy on this run of concerts before she officially shared it with the world. That made the “Rich Baby Daddy” video with Drake all the more notable and timely, which is a nice coincidence to hit. After all, timing a rollout and promo run in the industry is hard enough; imagine having to balance that with your maternity plans.
