DJ Akademiks has been having a lot of viewers on his streams over the last few days thanks to the Diddy situation. Overall, Diddy is being accused of abusing Cassie. There are some very horrific things being described in the lawsuit. For instance, Cassie alleges that she was trafficked. Furthermore, she says Diddy allegedly had men come over to sleep with her in front of him. It is all very harrowing stuff. Not to mention, the matter has seemingly been resolved as Cassie and Diddy reached a settlement just one day after the lawsuit was filed.

Akademiks has been very vocal about these allegations. Overall, he feels like not enough people are speaking on the whole thing. In his eyes, people are just simply too scared of Diddy which has led to this situation. However, there are some people who are willing to comment on the matter. Essentially, the No Jumper founder thinks that it is interesting that Diddy is allegedly a c*ck. Akademiks used to tell Adam that only white men are into that sort of thing. Now, however, Adam feels as though the shoe is on the other foot, and he is excited to point that out. Of course, these claims against Diddy are simply allegations at this point, so Adam isn’t confirmed in his assertions. Either way, it is clear that Akademiks got a good kick out of what Adam had to say on the matter.

DJ Akademiks Calls Out Yung Miami For Her Silence On Diddy Allegations

DJ Akademiks has made a name for himself by constantly speaking on the topics he finds interesting. Moreover, he always tries to be raw and unfiltered with his opinions. Overall, it has found him at the center of numerous feuds. However, he continues to do what he does. Mostly, he can be found on Rumble these days where he does his livestreams. These streams can be fairly entertaining, especially when there is a hot topic of conversation. Case in point, Akademiks was talking about Diddy all weekend.

In fact, some of his comments eventually made their way to Twitter. As you will see in a couple of tweets below, Ak finds the entire situation to be a bit fishy. For instance, he does not like the way Yung Miami is moving right now. He claims that it is very odd that she has not posted or said anything since the allegations came out. As for Diddy, Akademiks is suspicious of some new images that surfaced of the music mogul.

Drake Wins Five 2023 Billboard Music Awards

The 2023 Billboard Music Awards went down on Sunday (November 19), and had a lot of big winners. Taylor Swift and Morgan Gallen were among the most awarded musicians of the night, but what’s a top dog conversation without the 6 Dog- I mean, God? Moreover, Drake won a total of five BBMA trophies for the occasion, pointing to his excellent commercial run over the past few years. Specifically, these awards were Top Rap Album for his 21 S*vage collab Her Loss, Top Rap Song for the project’s opener “Rich Flex,” Top Rap Artist, Top Male Rap Artist, and Top Rap Touring Artist.

Furthermore, this caps off a pretty great 2023 for Drizzy, with the expanded version of his album For All The Dogs coming out just a few days ago as of writing this article. Sure, that promo cycle brought him his fair share of beefs, too. But what’s the industry without a little tussling, especially when you’re at such a high peak of success and polarization? Regardless, congrats to Drake on these awards, and we’re sure that this won’t be the end of his award show run in the next few months.

For example, the Recording Academy nominated him for various Grammy awards after re-entering the submission process. Moreover, he took to Twitter to blast the Florida native further for sampling a song of his without the proper clearance. While Wave has yet to respond to this as of writing this article, this might be the kind of issue that gets resolved behind closed doors. Even then, we’re sure we’ll hear about how it went down at some point or another from the Baton Rouge rapper. In his latest message, he even invoked other musical legends in his argument, seemingly comparing himself to the likes of Prince.

Andre 3000’s new jazz, new age, ambient, and flute-heavy behemoth New Blue Sun is here- his first solo album ever. What’s more is that, even though this isn’t a hip-hop album, his press run for it with NPR and GQ actually yielded some pretty interesting discussions and reflections from him on the genre. Even though 3 Stacks isn’t putting out rap music of his own, he’s definitely still tapped into what’s going on right now. In fact, he’s much more in the know than you might think, so much so that he might’ve contributed to one of the biggest rap hits of the 2010s decade.

Moreover, during what seems to be Future’s birthday celebration, Metro Boomin played their collab “Mask Off.” Before letting it drop, though, he had the following bombshell claim- or, most likely, a very timely and funny joke- to say to the crowd. “Yo, I’m letting you know Andre 3000 played the flute on this motherf***er!” the producer said with a smile. Though the chances of this being true are very slim, and it seems like a light-hearted and respectful jest, the Outkast member did say he has secret performance credits on other artist’s songs. Gunna may have already dropped his comeback studio album in 2023, but don’t think he’s slowing his roll down anytime soon. Moreover, new pictures emerged of him in the studio, wearing the same dapper-as-ever fit that he donned for GQ‘s Men Of The Year event. While we didn’t get any snippets or other information that isn’t just the College Park, Georgia native’s presence in the booth, this should still be amping fans of his music up. After all, he had quite the dominant year with the viral success of his track “fukumean” and a massive narrative about his plea deal in the YSL RICO case. That conversation’s not over yet, but it’s clear that it bears no relevance in the development and interest in the Drip Season rapper’s career.

Furthermore, he also had plenty of singles and other material to fill out his 2023 run. For example, Gunna just dropped a new song with Turbo titled “Bachelor,” which might just be a loosie or an indicator of future projects to come. Either way, it’s nice to see that, at the very least, there’s a whole fanbase within the game that is eating this stuff up. It may not be the best or most contextually beneficial thing for many, but we can’t hate on an MC getting their bag.

After all, he could’ve just let the chorus loop a couple of times and had that count, but regardless, it seemed like quite the hype experience. And so, the DJ Akademiks and Saucy Santana social media beef continues for another week, and it hasn’t gotten any nicer. For those unaware, the two are going at each other online for Ak’s comments on Yung Miami, and it just devolved into a clowning fest. Its latest installment concerns the Afro-Dominican rapper’s diss track against the media personality, which apparently didn’t perform particularly well on Spotify. As such, the former Everyday Struggle host took to every corner of the online space to blast Santana for this perceived failure. Even if you think numbers don’t matter, this is beef: folks in it don’t have the luxury of making excuses.

“So the silver back gorilla wit the beard and the bbl… booked studio time to diss big Ak,” DJ Akademiks’ recent Instagram post on Sunday (November 19) read. “Only to make $32 off the diss song. Man yalll gotta stop playing wit me… I Ain’t into that diddy s**t.. I’m Jamaican . Stop playing !” In addition, this post also showed what else he said about the exchange on Twitter, plus a clip of him going on the track’s Spotify page to show its total streams as of recording that. For those curious, the page shows that “Meet Me in Da Skreets” has 8,290 streams as of writing this article.

Boosie Badazz and Kodak Black have some pretty contentious and, as of very recently, financially contingent beef to handle. Moreover, the former called out the latter on Sunday (November 19) for sampling his track “Let Me Ease Ya Mind” on his new song, “Eaze Your Mind.” While it’s not a direct interpolation or sample, the Baton Rouge MC still thinks that his Floridian rival took too much liberty with this cut. Furthermore, he blasted Yak both in tweet form and with a video uploaded to social media going over his grievances. In both instances, the 41-year-old made it clear that, even if they don’t get along, they could’ve still made money together.

“DAM @kodakblack,” Boosie’s tweet read, which linked the music video for Kodak Black’s record. “EVEN THO WE FELL OUT WE COULDA DID FAIR BUIZNESS #justbuizness.” For those unaware, the two were most recently at odds due to Kodak’s decision to collaborate with 6ix9ine on a song. Badazz wasn’t very approving of this, as he sticks to a pretty stringent and very vocal anti-snitch philosophy that, in his opinion, should keep any and all MCs out of the rainbow-haired provocateur’s way.
