Who Are The Women In Drake’s ‘You Broke My Heart’ Video?

Drake’s got a fun habit of making videos that sort of don’t match the themes. For instance, the “Polar Opposites” video features Drake hanging out with a bunch of old guys, the “First Person Shooter” video has Michael Jackson dancing but not much in the way of gaming, and in “Another Late Night,” Drake and Lil Yachty seem to be celebrating Christmas two months early. So, it shouldn’t be a surprise that his “You Broke My Heart” video, which dropped today after some light teasing last night, barely even features Drake — or his explicable co-star, Morgan Wallen.

Instead, two women take the spotlight after arranging an explosion that takes the two stars out of the equation, then perform Drake’s lyrics themselves as the world responds to the chaos in a stunning, “one-take” video. So, who are these two women, who are credited as the stars in the credits? As the credits begin, the two women are credited as Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris. Searches on Instgram, TikTok, Reddit, and Twitter (never calling it “X”) yield no reliable results for either woman’s name (they ARE pretty common names, after all) or how they are connected to Drake.

While their identities remain unclear at this time, starring in the video is sure to put both names on the map in short order. After all, Drake’s co-sign has helped draw attention to a number of artists, actors, and models who get attached to him (there’s even a pretty good SNL sketch about it). We’ll probably find out who these women are soon enough.

There’s No Way Drake And (For Some Reason) Morgan Wallen Survive What Happens To Them In The Wild ‘You Broke My Heart’ Video

Drake has kept the surprises coming all year long. Back in October, he released his eighth studio album For All The Dogs in the middle of the buzzy It’s All A Blur Tour. A month later, he dropped the extended version of For All The Dogs, called the Scary Hours Edition, which featured the instant fan-favorite “You Broke My Heart.” Today (December 20), Drizzy has shared the video for “You Broke My Heart,” and boy, is it… interesting?

The video begins with Drake having dinner with, for some reason, Morgan Wallen, as the two rant about their exes. After their meal, the two enter a car, which explodes shortly after.

The two women responsible for the musicians’ fiery incident — seemingly their exes, played by Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris — then appear on screen walking through the scene amid the wreckage, rapping and lip-syncing to the song’s lyrics for the rest of the clip. It’s not clear what pushed the ladies to blow up the car, but we can assume Wallen and Drake’s actions were less than favorable.

Early next year, Drake will embark on the It’s All A Blur: Big As The What? Tour with J. Cole at various North American venues.

The Game Details 2007 Prison Stint: “Longest Time On Earth”

The Game recently reflected on his six-month stint in prison in 2007 for allegedly threatening a man with a gun. He detailed his time behind bars during an interview with VladTV. He says he spent most of his time “reading and reflecting” but didn’t learn his lesson.

As for how his level of fame impacted the experience, he explained: “10 times worse because by default, you go into solitary confinement because they don’t want any lawsuits from your family members if something happens to you and that’s what made it the longest time on earth.”

He continued: “I was in a cell basically 24 hours a day except the hour that you get out for either a phone call or shower. You have to choose. You don’t get both. So, you either taking a shower or making a phone call. Me, my cleanliness is next to godliness, so it wasn’t a lot of phone calls. I spent a lot of time reading and just reflecting on sh*t. It’s always funny because when you in jail, you always reflecting and reading and becoming more knowledgeable. Then when you get out, sh*t, you just go back to whatever the f*ck you was doing like you weren’t ever in jail.” He concluded by noting that, when he got out, he “still didn’t learn [his] lesson.” Check out his full comments with DJ Vlad below.

The Game Reflects On Stint In Jail

Elsewhere in the interview, The Game discussed 50 Cent’s ongoing Final Lap tour as well as their collaboration, “Hate It Or Love It,” and much more. At one point, he even described working with Eminem for the song, “We Ain’t,” as one of the “highlights of [his] career.” Be on the lookout for further updates on The Game on HotNewHipHop.

Kanye West Announces Plans To Build His Own City

Kanye West is nothing if not ambitious. He’s often tried to take on some monumental challenges that very few other artists would even attempt. That can sometimes frustrate fans when projects are announced and never followed up it. West has a notorious history of projects never materializing. Some of the most notable examples being albums he announces that never drop. A recent collaborative project he announced with Ty Dolla $ign was supposed to drop over the weekend but never did. The album is now rumored to drop on New Year’s Eve, but fans aren’t exactly getting their hopes up.

Now, in a new Tweet, the mysterious rapper has made his most ambitious announcement yet, an entire self-sustaining city. He shared a short press release for a city called DROAM which is reportedly still in Phase 1 development. The plans for the city are wildly ambitious with the promise that it will span 100,000 acres, approximately twice the size of New York City. In the post, he’s also asking for collaborators to sign onto the project to help him. He’s looking for project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and builders to join the team working on the city. Check out the full post below.

Kanye West Working On New City In The Middle East

The announcement comes just a day after a report that Kanye West’s Los Angeles church has been completely abandoned. West purchased the Church in March of this year for $1.5 million but after he spent the past few months in Europe, the church is now in disarray. Included in the report are pictures of the church with boarded up windows and piling up trash.

Kanye also listed his Malibu home for sale earlier this week. The house was notoriously stripped down almost entirely of its faculties earlier this year and is now basically gutted. That’s why fans were so surprised that the listing price was an astronomical $53 million. What do you think of Kanye West’s idea to build an entire new city in the Middle East? Do you think the project will ever get close to being completed? Let us know in the comment section below.

Jigg And Celly Cell Pronounced Dead After Milwaukee Shooting

Earlier this week, two up-and-coming Milwaukee rappers, Joevon “Jigg” Wilder and Marcell “Celly Cell” Hendrix, were fatally shot in their home city. They were 26 and 24 years old, respectively. According to the medical examiner, Jigg was pronounced dead in a vehicle early Monday morning, while Celly Cell was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital less than an hour later.

Authorities have yet to release more information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting, and no arrests have been made at the time of writing. Their families held vigils for the late artists the following evening. The mother of Jigg’s child, Taylor Cross, reflected on the loss, noting how her late partner always managed to be there for his loved ones. “A great dad to his son, great son to his mother,” she called him. “You could count on him to be there for the people he loved.”

Jigg’s Grandmother Describes Him As A “Good Father

“His dad was super tough,” she added. “The toughest person I know. It’s depicted in his music but it doesn’t show his soft side. He loved his son so much, so much.” Jigg’s grandmother, Peggy Wright, also described the rapper as a “loving and caring person.” She additionally took the opportunity to raise attention to gun violence in the city, noting how something needs to be done. “Milwaukee is a lost town,” she explained. “It needs some help. They need to do something about all this killing. I know just with my grandson, it’s not going to stop.”

“He was a good father,” she says of her grandson, “He had a good personality. He was a character.” Wright also adds, “He was laid back and chill and would just write songs.” TeeGlazedIt, who worked alongside Jigg on various music videos, also shared a heartfelt message about the loss on Instagram. “Naw cuz this sh*t can’t be real,” he said. “We just had dat long a** talk in front everybody dey seen it. You was my brother you p*ssed me off plenty times but real brothers put dat sh*t aside we got years in dis sh*t… damn cuz.” Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Yeat Sits Courtside At Blazers Game In Rare Public Appearance: Watch

Yeat is an artist who has been having a phenomenal start to his career. Overall, he began as a darling of the underground. His early projects are remembered fondly, and he continued to showcase his prowess with scintillating flows and some wild production choices. Moreover, he is now finding himself in the mainstream. A lot of this has to do with his feature on For All The Dogs. Although “IDGAF” might as well be a Yeat track, there is no doubt that the fans are excited about his work with one of rap’s biggest superstars.

Right now, the artist is working on a brand-new album. This project is supposedly going to be quite lengthy, and BNYX will have a lot of songs on it. However, we still don’t have a release date for it. Instead, fans are simply waiting for the album to drop. Yeat is a reclusive guy and it is very rare that we actually hear from him. That said, the artist found himself courtside at the Portland Trail Blazers game on Tuesday night. He is form Portland, and he went to the game with his girlfriend.

Yeat Continues To Shine

Yeat rarely makes public appearances. Furthermore, seldom does he actually really show his face. He has always been pretty timid when it comes to taking the sheisty off. However, for this occasion, he had his whole face out, albeit with some shades to hide the eyes. It was a cool moment as he got some cheers from the fans. While not everyone knows who is just yet, he is well on his way to becoming more of a household name. Hopefully, we get that album sooner rather than later.

Let us know what you think about Yeat and his music, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed on your favorite artists and their latest releases.

Cam’ron’s Pink Range Rover Goes Up For Sale On Facebook Marketplace

Cam’ron’s iconic pink Range Rover has gone up for sale on Facebook Marketplace with a starting price of $16,000. Calvin Finney, a certified Range Rover technician at Finney’s CARS in Alpharetta, Georgia, posted the listing. It notes that the car has 100,000 miles on it and also needs “some cosmetic work.” It does, however, have new oil, filters, brakes, plugs, AC, coolant, and transmission.

“This car has celebrity history,” the description reads. “It was built done in pink in 2003 when it was brand new… The car runs and drives great.”

Cam’ron previously sold the car just one year after acquiring it back in 2003. He explained the decision during an interview with MTV News at the time. “When I drive it, it’s a headache,” he admitted, as caught by HipHopDX. “My driver be signing autographs if he’s in there by himself. No matter who’s driving, if they are in that car, you’re a star. If your grandmother got in that driver’s seat, she’s gonna be signing autographs. It just attracts attention. That’s why I put it in the video.”

Cam’ron’s Range Rover Listing

While he was willing to part with the Range Rover, Cam has been adamant about not selling his popular pink fur coat. Speaking with Kevin Durant on his Boardroom podcast, earlier this year, Cam revealed he was once offered $300,000 for the piece. “The people who offered it to me, I didn’t feel they deserved it,” he said. “It was more of a stat to them like, ‘I bought Cam’s jacket.’ It wasn’t really like they appreciated where that jacket came from. If it makes sense to sell it to somebody who would appreciate it or put it where it’s gonna be seen and be stored that people know it’s my jacket, cool. You got rich suburban kids who be like, ‘Hey Cam, my girlfriend really loves your pink jacket. I don’t really know too much about it but I’ll buy it for her. How much do you want for it?’ That type sh*t.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Cam’ron on HotNewHipHop.

DJ Akademiks & Andrew Schulz Debate About Kanye West: Watch

During a recent episode of Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast, he and DJ Akademiks had a debate about Kanye West. Schulz questioned whether or not Ye’s “run” with music is finally over, prompting Ak to come to the Chicago native’s defense. According to him, Ye’s music run is not only not over, but it’s about to be reignited once again.

He went on, arguing that while other “trash” music lacks substance, West always comes through with “meaningful” bodies of work. Schulz then chimed in, noting how for him, everything since The Life Of Pablo has been a miss. “The thing with Kanye is what rap is missing and what most musicians [are] missing,” DJ Akademiks explained. He went on to compare the performer to Drake, claiming that if the Canadian artist had better “presentation,” he could be in the same realm as Michael Jackson. Unfortunately, he says that his presentation is always “garbage.”

DJ Akademiks Claims Kanye West Is Hip Hop “Royalty”

“Kanye West will drop some sh*t with the best presentation possible,” he continued. “He’ll have projectors on the side of the pyramids or some sh*t.” Schulz then interjected, calling Ye “unbelievably corny.” “Everything I see him do is just unbearably corny, and then I hear him rap, the rap is corny,” he described. “Kanye’s production has been phenomenal, but not in the last almost decade.” Ak continued to compare the artist to Drake, arguing that while Ye will stand by other artists he truly believes in, Drake will simply enlist whoever’s on top at the time.

DJ Akademiks emphasized the difference between a simple feature and a full-blown collaborative album, noting how powerful of a “stamp” Vultures is for Ty Dolla Sign. “Kanye West in hip hop is f*cking hip hop royalty,” he added. Skinnyfromthe9 Claims He’s Homeless, Fans Believe Rapper Is Faking It

Skinnyfromthe9 is an artist who has been involved in a few altercations over the years. Furthermore, he has found himself at the forefront of feuds that have been dangerous. Overall, there have been times where he hasn’t exactly centered the music. Instead, it has been the antics around the music that have propelled him. Unfortunately, this has led to some people falling out of favor with him. There hasn’t been much momentum for him as of late, and it seems like a recent situation has had him fall on hard times.

In a post from No Jumper, it was revealed that Skinnyfromthe9 is currently homeless. He was seen at a shelter looking for food, and he was seeing some of the discourse about it play out on social media. However, he clapped back at the haters, stating that he is, indeed homeless. He took various videos of himself in which he can be seen walking the streets. Moreover, he claims to be cold and that it was actually his birthday. Overall, it seems like an extremely distressing situation to be in.

Unfortunately for Skinnyfromthe9, fans in the No Jumper comments section were not feeling particularly empathetic. They claimed that he was faking it for attention. Clearly, some people are a bit wary of believing Skinny and his story.
