Skinnyfromthe9 Claims He’s Homeless, Fans Believe Rapper Is Faking It

Skinnyfromthe9 is an artist who has been involved in a few altercations over the years. Furthermore, he has found himself at the forefront of feuds that have been dangerous. Overall, there have been times where he hasn’t exactly centered the music. Instead, it has been the antics around the music that have propelled him. Unfortunately, this has led to some people falling out of favor with him. There hasn’t been much momentum for him as of late, and it seems like a recent situation has had him fall on hard times.

In a post from No Jumper, it was revealed that Skinnyfromthe9 is currently homeless. He was seen at a shelter looking for food, and he was seeing some of the discourse about it play out on social media. However, he clapped back at the haters, stating that he is, indeed homeless. Kanye West Abandons Yeezy HQ, Building Full Of Graffiti As Homeless Camp Outside: Report

Based on what Kim Kardashian had to say about her ex-husband’s living situation on a recent episode of her reality series, we’re guessing that Kanye West has only become more humble with age. The multi-talent will likely always carry himself with confidence thanks to the way his late mother, Donda, raised him, but after he and Kardashian went their separate ways, Ye has been spending plenty of time in hotels, or at the cozy apartment he rents. The socialite claims her kids prefer to spend their time in the rapper’s smaller space than at the massive family compound, leaving her notably confused.

It seems his family home isn’t the only space the Chicago-bred creative has left behind in this chapter of his life. According to The Sun, his Los Angeles Yeezy Headquarters now has graffiti on the outside walls. Meanwhile, local homeless people are now sleeping in their tents on the sidewalk nearby, though it’s unclear if they’re the ones responsible for the street art surfacing.

Kanye West’s Attention Remains Focused on Music as Yeezy HQ Sits Unused

Sources close to Ye tell the outlet that Yeezy HQ was mostly for “secret fashion events, the odd Sunday Service performance, and private movie nights.” It was always recognized as a “multi-purpose venue” rather than a store and was part of West’s attempt to relaunch his fashion brand with assistance from American Apparel founder Dov Charney. The 46-year-old continues to pay rent on the building, and some employees still make use of the space. For the most part, though, “unfinished wooden structures and debris” are all that lies inside.

Kanye West is the kind of creative who pours every ounce of energy he has into the task at hand. Because of this, it’s understandable that the father of four is putting his fashion endeavours on hold to focus on his highly anticipated album with Ty Dolla Sign. It seemed as though the project might’ve been cancelled after some mixed subliminal messages were detected on social media, however, the R&B star has since confirmed the joint LP is “coming real soon.” Read everything we know about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Earlier this week, Lil Reese shared a clip on his Instagram Story that managed to get social media users talking. In the clip, one his friends is seen pouring a drink on a homeless man’s head. F*ck him!” From there, the unsuspecting man sits up on the sidewalk, telling them “Don’t do that, man! That ain’t right, man!”

Lil Reese was immediately hit with a great deal of backlash after posting the seemingly cruel act. Many thought it was messed up to pour the drink on the man, let alone post it for the world to see. Tiffany Haddish Recalls Stealing Food From Weddings: “I Was Homeless & Hungry”

Tiffany Haddish says that she used to steal food from weddings back when she was “homeless and hungry.” The comedian recalled the tough period in her life during a recent interview with PEOPLE.

“I’ve crashed weddings before, given a speech and didn’t know anybody there,” Haddish admitted to the outlet. “That’s when I was homeless and hungry.” She elaborated: “I would have two or three drinks and then I would grab the microphone and be like, ‘I just want to say that you are the most beautiful couple.’ Everybody would be looking at me like, ‘Who is this black girl at our wedding?’”

From there, Haddish explained that her humble beginnings help keep her grounded as she’s grown into a celebrity. “I try my best not to hold onto too many emotions because I feel like when you hold onto all those emotions, they make you cr*zy and then you get delusional,” she said. “Sleep is the key. And don’t be afraid to go out in nature. Take your shoes off and walk in some grass.”

Haddish found her breakthrough into mainstream success with the release of the 2017 comedy film Girls Trip. In the movie, she stars alongside Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Queen Latifah. Her comments with PEOPLE aren’t the first time Haddish has reflected on her tough moments. In an Instagram post from 2019, she shared a picture of herself during a rough stretch.

“I look at this picture and want to cry tears of joy for this girl,” she captioned the photo of herself. “I remember that night. She was homeless, hungry, scared, and hurt. Lil Durk released the song on May 12, along with the accompanying music video. The song was shared ahead of the release of his upcoming album, Almost Healed.
