Jack Harlow Drops A Preview Of New Music Video

The track “Gang Gang Gang” from Jack Harlow’s recently released Jackman album is getting its own music video. Harlow posted a teaser for the video on his Instagram earlier today. The caption is simple enough “Gang Gang Gang. Tomorrow.” While the teaser doesn’t show much of what the video will be like, just an intro and some loose shots, that didn’t stop fans from getting excited. The comments are packed full of people expressing anticipation for the forthcoming video.

“Gang Gang Gang” is the second Jackman song to get an accompanying music video. Last month just after the album was dropped Harlow released the video for “They Don’t Love It.” The video has already racked up 5 million views in its first month. Unsurprisingly, the album also performed well debuting at number 8 on the Billboard 200 making it Harlow’s third straight top 10 album. Alongside his new album, Harlow also appeared on the DJ Drama song “Mockingbird Valley.”

Jack Harlow’s New Video Will Arrive Tomorrow

Jack Harlow recently received a pretty major co-sign. Ludacris showed his support for Harlow. He didn’t just shout out the rapper, he also showed support for his sampling of Fergie’s “Glamorous.” The song serves as a major part of the hook on Harlow’s biggest hit “First Class,” which hit number one last year. The song was Harlow’s second number-one following his Lil Nas X collaboration “Industry Baby” and his third top-five hit including “WHATS POPPIN” which peaked at number 2.

Last month Jack Harlow had to cancel a concert for the first time in his career and seemed pretty upset about it. He tweeted out his frustration after having to cancel a show in Vegas because he couldn’t get on a flight. “Makes me fuckin sick typing this. For the first time in my entire career, I’m not gonna make it to my own show. Trying to get to Vegas tonight but I’m stuck in Kentucky,” the tweet read. What do you think of the teaser for Jack Harlow’s new music video? Let us know in the comment section below.

Snoop Dogg’s Iconic Snoop DeVille Bought By Texas Cadillac Dealer

Snoop Dogg’s classic lowrider, a 1996 Cadillac DeVille just emerged at a Texas Cadillac dealership over the weekend. According to TMZ, the car now belongs to the newly opened Cadillac of Arlington dealership as a permanent fixture. The car became pretty recognizable after its appearance in the 2003 music video for Snoop and 50 Cent’s “P.I.M.P Remix.” Sometime after that video was made, the car was sold in a private auction. Its whereabouts were unknown until just a few days ago when the Arlington dealership had its grand opening party re-introducing it to the public. The car’s previous owner told TMZ he recently made a deal to sell the classic Snoop DeVille to the dealership.

As usual, Snoop Dogg has been in the headlines a lot recently. His bid to become the first black owner of an NHL team has drawn quite a lot of attention recently. The Ottawa Senators are for sale and Snoop is part of a group looking to buy them. His ownership group is engaged in a bigging war with another group led by Ryan Reynolds and reportedly including The Weeknd. He seemed to hint at a purchase potentially being made soon when he showed off some custom Senators sweatpants on Instagram last week. There haven’t been any updates on the buying process since then, however.

Snoop Dogg’s Snoop DeVille Has A New Home

Those sweatpants weren’t the only custom drip Snoop Dogg has shown off recently. He also took to Instagram to flex a new custom Wu-Tang-inspired chain the other day. The video showed off the elaborate piece of jewelry over one of the group’s iconic songs. It isn’t the first time Snoop has paid tribute to the New York legends either.

What fans really want to know more about is Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s upcoming album Missionary. The pair recently teased the forthcoming project once again with a photo of them in the studio shared on Instagram. Tell us what you think about the Snoop DeVille ending up in a Texas dealership in the comment section below.

Rubi Rose Sued For Damaging Art Studio During Video Shoot

Rubi Rose is the most recent rapper to get herself into legal trouble. In this particular instance, she’s being sued by an artist who says her studio was damaged during a music video shoot. Rubi released her song “TWORK” in 2021 and its racked up over 3 million Spotify streams since then. The song’s music video features a number of dancers and an entire firetruck, which is where she got into some trouble. According to TMZ, the suit alleges that the truck’s high-pressure fire hose caused damage to both the building itself and a number of valuable artworks.

Rubi Rose isn’t the only person labeled in the suit. Music video directors Jay and Georgio Rodriguez and Rubi’s label HitCo are all also involved. Also named in the suit is Hollywood Fire Authority, a company that rents out firefighter equipment. The suit alleges that Rose and company weren’t properly trained to use the equipment, which resulted in damages amounting to more than six figures. Saban’s suit claims to have undeniable proof of her damages and she’s asking for over $300k as a result.

Rubi Rose has already appeared on two songs this year, both remixed. Both tracks “Nope” and “No Clappin’” feature her alongside a number of other female rappers. She hasn’t released a full-length project since 2020’s In The Streets. Most recently, Rubi Rose was used as a point of comparison by many when Travis Barker’s teenage daughter Alabama previewed her new rap music. She also delt with dating rumors earlier this year that linked her to rapper French Montana.

Just last week rapper Vanilla Ice found out he was subject to a lawsuit of his own. He’s being taken to court by an ex-girlfriend who claims she’s owed a paternity test and child support from the “Ice Ice Baby” rapper. In more positive news, Jay-Z recently received a $6.8 million settlement in his favor. As a result of the ruling, Parlux had to pay the rapper millions in previously unpaid royalties. What are your thoughts on Rubi Rose’s recent music video controversy? Tell us in the comment section below.

Lil Wayne Declares Kanye West A “Genius” As Yeezy Founder Films “Off The Grid” Visual

From the outside looking in, the vision for Kanye West’s future is unclear. The father of four has been pulled in various directions lately, from his tumultuous presidential campaign, which was previously halted, to negotiating with brands like Adidas after seriously tarnishing their working relationship last year. It’s been some time since he’s given us new music, but over the weekend, footage of Ye filming what appears to be a visual for a track from 2021’s DONDA began circulating online.

In the brief clip, we see West aggressively gesturing toward the camera while listening to “Off The Grid.” He appears to be working on the project without collaborators Fivio Foreign and Playboi Carti, though that doesn’t mean we won’t see them participate in the finished product. It remains unclear when the “Waves” artist plans to drop the long-awaited visual, but we do know he’s using it to continue forward with his latest fashion agenda – repopularizing the shoulder pad.

Kanye West Dons Shoulder Pads for “Off The Grid” Music Video

We’ve seen plenty of bold looks from West in recent weeks, some of them seemingly referencing Nazi symbolism and others simply leaving the world confused. Regardless of what the masses have to say, Lil Wayne made it clear during a recent interview that he still thinks his “Forever” collaborator is a genius. The Louisana native dropped by the All the Smoke podcast on Friday (June 9) to chat, at which time he didn’t hesitate to give Ye his flowers.

“He’s a genius… What I mean by that is he can stop being Kanye West at any time and start being Kanye East and be the best at that as well,” the 40-year-old explained to the show’s hosts. “He’s a genius when it comes to music. Whatever route he wanna go, he’s gonna be packing arenas.”

Tyga, YG, Blxst Team Up For Cali Tribute “West Coast Weekend”

A trio of frequent collaborators are back once again with a song tributing their origins on the west coast. Tyga, YG, and Blxst team up for a sun-kissed new banger. The bright production and catchy refrains are perfect for capturing the vibes of spending a glorious weekend on the west coast. While it’s unclear if the song is ultimately destined to land on a project from any of the trio, it’s still a perfect summer jam dropping at just the right time.

YG and Tyga have collaborated many of times and often appear on each other’s album. Last year they released “Run” which also featured verses from BIA and 21 Savage. YG and Blxst have also collaborated a few times before. Most notably Blxst made an appearance on YG and Mozzy’s hit song “Perfect Timing.” The song landed on their collaborative album Kommunity Service which also featured a contribution from Tyga. Clearly, the three artists are no strangers to making music together.

Tyga, YG, Blxst Drop A Summer Anthem

For YG this is the first new singles he’s dropped this year, though he’s found himself in headlines regardless. Just yesterday he attended the ceremony unveiling Tupac’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame star. In an interview, he expressed shock that it took so long for Tupac to finally get a star. Last month, he confirmed a long-rumored relationship with R&B singer Saweetie. On a trip to Mexico together the pair posted pics finally letting fans know for sure that they’re an item.

Earlier this year Blxst released his Just For Clarity 2 EP. The short project features guest verses from Mustard, Roddy Rich, Terrance Martin, & Larry June. Tyga most recently released his new single “Day One” last month. What do you think of Tyga, YG, and Blxst’s new song? Let us know in the comment section below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Ayy, it’s a party on the weekend
Got a lil’ shawty, we creepin’
Throw somethin’ in my cup
But I still can’t show no love
I got hoes for every season
Shawty wanna play, she leavin’
Don’t try to say, “What’s up?”
When you see a n*gga in the club, yeah

Doe Boy Refuses To Drive-By On “WAY I WALK”

Doe Boy is as prolific as ever dropping his second new single of 2023 “WAY I WALK.” The song dropped on Monday following a long battle Doe Boy went on in order to clear its key sample. It took him a year trying to get the rights to use a sample of a popular remix of Jennifer Lopez’s 2001 song “I’m Real.” After the sample was finally cleared he posted a video thanking J-Lo and rapper Ja Rule for their help in the process.

The song was released with an accompanying music video, both of which cover the type of ground you’d expect Doe Boy to. The single is part of the rollout for his highly anticipated new album BEEZY. The record comes out in just a few days via Freebandz and Epic Records and you can pre-order it now. Doe Boy has been previewing music on his Instagram all week including an unreleased collab with DaBaby. It’s currently unclear which of the songs he’s played will ultimately end up on BEEZY.

Doe Boy Brings The Heat

Doe Boy also took to Instagram to celebrate the release of this song after the long battle to clear the sample. “Everybody say THANK YOU @jlo. ‘WAY I WALK’ finally cleared,” he captioned the post. “Way I Walk” is the second new single Doe Boy has released this year following “Roll The Dice” with Dej Loaf which dropped back in April. These two tracks follow a prolific 2022 for Doe Boy where he dropped two projects. His album OH REALLY and the following EP CATCH ME IF YOU CAN both received critical acclaim and helped give him quite a bit of momentum coming into this year.

Doe Boy has been regularly releasing mixtapes since 2016. He had the cosign of major artists like Future and Lil Durk right out of the gate. Before last year his biggest release was 2020’s Demons R Us, but OH REALLY may have overtaken it. Tell us what you think of the song in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Gang sh*t, just the way I talk
I don’t drive-by no more, this just the way I walk
Gang sh*t, he had them things, got crossed

Fabolous Tells Incredible Kobe Bryant Story

Fabolous is an artist who has had an amazing career in hip-hop. Overall, he has a plethora of hits and has amassed a huge fanbase that is always excited about his next move. Moreover, he was recently on the track “Act Bad” with Diddy and the City Girls. Needless to say, he has a lot going on right now, and he has every reason to be happy about where he’s at. In fact, the artist was recently on the Draft Kings podcast The Starting Five, where he recounted some stories.

For instance, he spoke about his Kobe Bryant fandom. Kobe was also a fan of Fab, and he showed out for him on multiple occasions. For instance, Bryant once showed up to the music video shoot for “Trade It All.” “Kobe came to the video,” Fabolous said. “It was in Venice Beach, CA. I don’t think the scene that he came in, I was wearing the jersey — but he came, though.” He went on to note that DJ Clue wanted Kobe in the video. However, that did not come to fruition.

“The funniest part of him coming to the shoot was…you know, everybody’s excited, Kobe’s coming to the set,” Fab began. “So [DJ] Clue was like, ‘yo, ask him if he wants to jump in and be in a cameo in the video.’ I said, ‘I ain’t askin Kobe that. You ask him.’ So, he went over there to ask him, Kobe, and Kobe said, ‘naw,’ you know? ‘I just came to show some love to Fab.’ Clue, I think, was having a good moment and he wanted to turn it into a great moment. Shoot for the stars. But it was cool, man. I wore his jersey.”

Kobe Bryant himself was a rapper during the early stages of his career. However, he ultimately ditched that side of him as he wanted to focus on basketball. Either way, it is clear that he loved the culture, and wanted to support his favorite artists. Let us know what you think of this story, in the comments section below.

Airport Employee Talks About Being In “The Hillbillies” Video

Last week, Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar dropped “The Hillbillies”. A surprise release from both of them, the song included a sample of Bon Iver’s “PDLIF” and an interpolation of Drake’s “Sticky”. It was the first collaboration between the two cousins in almost two years. Many people were excited for the new song. “it’s a great summer song. got a good bounce to it and kendrick and keem both have dynamic performances with their lyrics and their voice. also the hook by keem is hard asf,” a fan wrote on Twitter. However, not everyone was thrilled about the song. “its cool but if this is the single for a collab album then im worried,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Also notable was the music video. Filmed on a VHS camcorder, the video featured retro visuals as well as outtake footage from Lamar’s Big Steppers Tour. Notably featured in the video was an airport worker at Dublin Airport. Dublin Airport is a common hub and layover between Europe and North America. Furthermore, RapTV tracked down the now-viral airport worker.

“So he literally came up to us while we were just waiting at reception,” the man said in a recent video. “Literally came through the door, full of life. He was running around reception, throwing his arms around everyone. I knew his fella was recording but there was nothing said about a music video or anything. Oh it was crazy like, can hardly believe it. I was getting sent messages from everyone, even people I haven’t spoken to in years.”

It’s high praise for the two rappers and some much-needed good press for Lamar. Lamar was thoroughly roasted for his subpar freestyle on Beyoncé’s “America Has A Problem”. Aside from the underwhelming performance, many fans felt that Doechii deserved the remix instead. What did you think of “The Hillbillies”? Let us know in the comments. NLE Choppa Drops Star-Studded “Champions” Video

NLE has dropped a music video for his new track, “Champions.” Recently, the rapper has been on a journey of transformation and personal growth. It has been not only fascinating but also surprising to witness, particularly in terms of his adoption of veganism and involvement in activism. However, it appears that the changes NLE Choppa has made have changed his life for the better. The music video for the rapper’s new song “Champions” prominently showcases these changes.

D.A. Got That Dope produced the new NLE Choppa track. The instrumental features triumphant brass instruments that call to mind sports championships. The track also features NLE Choppa delivering inspiring lyrics about overcoming challenges. “Ay, we gon’ ball never fall, the champions / The champions, the champions,” he sings on the chorus. “Ay, we gon’ ball, never fall, I put my head up / And told ’em, ‘Crown me.’” The track’s lyrics and instrumental flow perfectly together. For the video, Choppa called up some pretty prominent people to join in.

NLE Choppa Recruits Some Big Sports Names For His Music Video

NLE Choppa’s new track fits right in with the video for it. The clip includes appearances by many world-renowned athletes. These include Floyd Mayweather, Odell Beckham Jr., Olympic Gold swimmer Michael Andrews, Kyrie Irving, and others. Additionally, the video captures a heartwarming moment featuring the rapper. Choppa visits Cornerstone Prep Denver Campus in Memphis to celebrate the students’ victory in his reading challenge. The elementary students earned recognition for collectively reading over 40 million words.

Toward the end of the video, Choppa actively participates in a protest he organized a few months ago. The event honored Tyre Nichols, another Memphis native. The man was beaten to death by five police officers earlier this year. This scene highlights Choppa’s commitment to using his platform for social change. It seems like several popular artists are making similar changes. Lil Durk has also spoken openly about trying to do good for the community and take better care of himself. What do you think of the new leaf NLE Choppa seems to be turning over? Sound off and let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Taylor Swift And Ice Spice Drop The Video For “Karma” Remix

Ice Spice has been enjoying a series of great successes over the past year. The winning streak continued when Taylor Swift announced their collaboration. Swift took to social media to reveal that Ice Spice would be featured on the remix of her 2022 track “Karma.” The song is part of Swift’s latest album, Midnights, which she is currently promoting during her tour. Both artists expressed their excitement online. Along with the announcement, Swift shared some almost Interstellar-inspired cover art depicting Spice and Swift in a space-themed setting.

In her announcement post, Swift praised Ice Spice and expressed her admiration for the artist. In fact, she even described herself as a “massive fan.” Despite not being part of the rap community, Swift’s words hold significant weight coming from a successful artist of her caliber. The remix is included in Swift’s new deluxe album, titled Midnights (Til Dawn Edition). Ice Spice responded gratefully, referring to Taylor Swift as the sweetest person and expressing her love for the artist. Now, the two have dropped the music video for the collaboration.

Taylor And Ice Are A Surprisingly Good Match

Taylor Swift and Ice Spice are glowing in the new video for their collaboration. Featuring a dazzling array of insane set pieces, the video allows both artists to shine on their own and together. For Ice’s part, it’s quite nice to see her in such a large budget video with such fantastical sets. One might think that she would seem out of her element, but she owns it. During her verse, she sits gracefully in a human sized shell as pearls fall from the sky into the water around her. She and Taylor are a surprisingly good match in the video, as well. Some, however, may disagree.

Some of Taylor’s fans are not really into the Ice Spice feature. The reasoning they may have is debatable. Many, however, are bothered by the fact that she is dating The 1975 frontman Matt Healy. Earlier this year, he made fun of Ice Spice’s appearance. Now, many are referring to him as a racist and a nazi. One fan said, “That verse was so bad. You can really tell the ‘Karma (Remix)’ was done last minute for damage control to clear Taylor Swift & her [Nazi] boyfriend image after he said all those racist slurs to Ice Spice.” The fan went on to write, “Hope she got a massive cheque though.” Whatever the reason for the collaboration, Ice certainly shines on it. What do you think of the pair’s music video? Sound off in the comments below!
