Offset And Moneybagg Yo Respect The ‘Code’ In Their Eccentric New Video
Offset is back with his second single in as many weeks, this time tapping Moneybagg Yo for “Code.” The two rap with a fury over the uptempo beat, with Offset in particular branding a smooth autotune while Moneybagg employs his usual brooding vocals. It’s a simple visual, with the two sporting exquisite outfits over a white background.
Offset and Moneybagg Yo are no strangers to trading bars with one another. Earlier this month, the two joined forces on Trippie Redd’s “Big 14,” in addition to appearing on Lil Tjay’s “Run It Up” from 2021’s Destined 2 Win and “Style Ain’t Free” off of Moneybagg’s 2019 album 43va Heartless.
For Offset, “Code” comes just a week after his first solo single in quite some time, “54321.” While solo efforts aren’t new to him, having released an entire solo album Father Of 4 in 2019, these singles feel a bit different with the drama surrounding Migos throughout this summer.
It began with Quavo and Takeoff forming their own duo Unc & Phew, Offset unfollowing both on social media, and a myriad of rumors surrounding the “Bad & Boujee” trio. The situation reached a tense climax this week when TMZ reported Offset filed a lawsuit against his label Quality Control before engaging in a Twitter back and forth with QC CEO Pierre “P” Thomas.
Despite the drama, it appears Offset will continue releasing music as he works towards his forthcoming solo effort.

Trippie Redd, Offset And Moneybagg Yo Send Threats To Their Enemies In The Menacing ‘Big 14’ Video
Trippie Redd, despite his charisma, carries a menacing personality. Though he is a fun-loving guy, he doesn’t look like the type you want to cross either. “Big 14” is the Canton artist showing more of that serious side alongside Offset and Moneybagg Yo. Together, the trio flexes their riches but also makes it very clear that no one should try and come for them.
“Don’t come outside we sending killers at your door,” Redd groans in the chorus before taking on the first verse, followed by Offset and Moneybagg Yo in succession. Their aggressive lyrics are amplified by the scenery surrounding them, whether it be abandoned buildings or what appears to be a hospital corridor. The Honorable C.N.O.T.E. production is an ideal canvas for each spitter to then add their own twist.
For Trippie, this is his first proper release in 2022, taking a bit of a hiatus since his 2021 album Trip At Knight. Moneybagg Yo seems to never stop working, with a slew of features and multiple appearances on the latest CMG compilation album Gangsta Art. As for Offset, it is still unclear whether Migos are split up or not but he is teasing new music coming soon.

Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo And CMG Show That Life Imitates Art In The Somber ‘Gangsta Art’ Video
People may admire the canvasses, but they can never know the full story behind each brush stroke if it isn’t told. Though Collective Music Group may appear successful on the surface, there is pain and struggle behind their journeys that makes where they are now even more laudable. Their latest video for “Gangsta Art,” featuring Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, Blac Youngsta and Lehla Samia, tells the story behind their work
Samia handles the hook while Mozzy, Moneybagg, Gee, Dugg, Youngsta and Gotti all tell their own stories through verses accompanied by elaborate scenes. Mozzy spits from bedside, EST Gee sits on a bench, Moneybagg Yo shows blood dripping from his shoulders, Blac Youngsta is chained up, and Yo Gotti sits in front of an oven. The only person missing from the video is the incarcerated 42 Dugg, but his energy is still felt.
“Gangsta Art” is both the opener and title track from CMG’s latest label compilation album. Gangsta Art also features Kodak Black, Coi Leray, Big30, and more across its 27 records. If CMG somehow wasn’t on radars before, they are making sure to change that with efforts like this.

42 Dugg is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Yo Gotti & CMG Releases Compilation LP, ‘Gangsta Art’
The gangs all here.
Yo Gotti‘s Collective Music Group (CMG) imprint is one of the most formidable and successful record labels in today’s hip-hop with a roster of superstars, including Moneybagg Yo, Mozzy, 42Dugg, Blac Youngsta, EST Gee, Blockboy JB, Big Boogie and Lehla Samia. As promised, Gotti, 41, rallies the roster — along with some new signees — for the release of their high-anticipated debut compilation album, Gangsta Art, out now via Interscope Records.
Gangsta Art contains 27 new songs featuring guest appearances by Kodak Black, BIG 30, and Coi Leray. The project includes previously released singles “Steppers,” “Lurkin” and “Rocky Road.” And with the guest stars and singles are standout collaborations and chemistry on the roster’s abundance of posse cuts.
Gotti launched Collective Music Group, formerly known as Cocaine Muzik Group, in 2012 following the “Down In The DM” creator signing a record deal with Epic Records. Gotti would sign the label’s first act, Blac Youngsta, in 2015, then Moneybagg Yo in 2016. The success of Youngsta and Moneybagg have spawned offspring record labels in Heavy Camp and Bread Gang. Gotti would eventually sign Blockboy JB in 2018, 42Dugg in 2019, Big Boogie in 2020, EST Gee in 2021 and Mozzy in 2022.
The label project comes on the heels of Yo Gotti signing the roster’s newest artist and new sensation GloRilla, who announced signing with the imprint last week. GloRilla went viral this summer with her trailblazing single “FNF”. GloRilla also hails from Memphis, Tennessee.
