Irv Gotti is the subject of a new sexual assault lawsuit. According to the Miami New Times, Gotti is being sued by a Jane Doe for sexually assaulting and abusing her between 2020 and 2022 in Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta.

“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward,” the lawsuit reads. “These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day.”

The lawsuit wants a trial by jury.

The court docs state the woman met Gotti at a summer 2020 poker tournament, leading to a Saint Martin vacation. He allegedly coerced her into sex, but a relationship followed the trip. During the two-year relationship, the woman stated she had suffered “constant abuse.” She was forced into unwanted sexual acts, including being forced to perform oral sex in the elevator of the Four Seasons in Miami. Another occasion included the forcing of real sex in an Uber in Atlanta, leading to the end of the relationship.

Gotti allegedly slandered the woman throughout the industry, and the woman eventually was a resident of a psychiatric ward. You can see all the court documents here.

Yung Miami has a lot on her plate right now, and she spoke about her next moves with Carl Lamarre of Billboard at the 2024 BET Awards last night (Sunday, June 30). Moreover, they broke the ice by talking about their favorite Usher song and remarking on how she’s sometimes in her R&B bag as an artist. But speaking of that, the former City Girl also had some words about the solo music that she’s working on now that the duo is no more. “Oh, Yung Miami ain’t never left, babe,” she remarked. “But… This new era that I’m stepping into, this new music that I’m working on, it’s gon’ show that growth and that improvement. And it’s gon’ show that that’s why I’m Yung Miami, that’s why I’m Caresha.”

In addition, Yung Miami also promised that her podcast Caresha Please is coming back soon, which should be very exciting for fans to hear. On it, she’s opened up diverse conversations about relationships, the music industry, the entertainment business, and a whole lot more. Caresha has quite the media empire with her brand ventures as well, and seeing them all develop in real time reinforces the others. In other City Girls news, JT recently suggested a possible explanation as to why she and Yung Miami chose to part ways as a hip-hop duo. “I did not want that to happen…” she told Keke Palmer. “When you get to the point of ego… it gets there. You forget to express yourself in a private setting, or you forget to talk like adults. It happened and it was stupid, and it’s done. It’s over with and now it’s funny to both of us. It’s hilarious to both of us. Now, it’s just a funny thing in time to us.”

Meanwhile, Playboi Carti recently seemed to shoot his shot with Yung Miami. Like most things related to Carti, his post featuring a picture of her didn’t come with much of an explanation or prelude. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Travis Scott was arrested in Miami for alleged disorderly intoxication and trespassing. At first, the circumstances leading up to the performer’s arrest were unclear, but it was later reported that it all started with a minor disagreement on a yacht. He was taken into custody after police asked him to leave the scene, but he allegedly returned anyway.

Now, sources who recently chatted with TMZ explained why he found it necessary to circle back. According to them, he had left some of his most crucial belongings behind, including his bag and his phone. When he went back to get them, he reportedly requested a police escort back on the yacht. He had already been warned to stay away, however, resulting in his arrest.

While this is certainly unfortunate for the hitmaker, it doesn’t appear to have gotten him down too much. Only hours after his arrest, he was released, and he got straight on a jet back to LA. He even released new merch featuring his mugshot the same day. His legal rep Bradford Cohen later issued a statement, clarifying that the argument never escalated to the point of violence. “Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding,” Cohen explained. “There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution.”

Travis Scott was arrested and booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail on Thursday morning. According to sources like CNN, the booking too place at 4:35 in the morning. Overall, the circumstances leading up to Scott’s arrest remain fairly unknown. However, what we do know is that Travis was booked for trespassing and disorderly intoxication. The 33-year-old is subsequently set to face charges for these alleged infractions.

At the time of writing this, a $650 bond was submitted, and it remains unknown if Scott is still in jail or not. This incident happened about four hours ago, so details are still developing. However, his mugshot was taken as a result of the booking, and it has been making the rounds online. As you can tell, Travis doesn’t seem too pleased about the whole ordeal. 50 Cent says he was in attendance at a roast of Diddy in Miami in hopes that the disgraced Bad Boy mogul would be there as well. The Miami Herald initially reported that he made an appearance at the event at the Dead Flamingo Pop Up (formerly Casa Tiki) in Little Havana. Confirming the news on Instagram, he joked that he brought his “shooters” with him, but clarified he meant videographers. “Yes, I was in attendance I thought puffy might show up because I saw Tom Brady at his,” he wrote. “He didn’t come, I had the shooters get your mind out gutter videographers what!”

In the comments section, fans shared plenty of jokes in response to the news. One user brought up 50’s claim that Diddy once invited him to go shopping. “Never offer to take a man shopping. These are the end results,” they joked. Another wrote: “Fif be errwhere these days, don’t be surprised to see him disguised in a moustache below an afro cut at the event, dropping outta an impala.”

It’s far from the first time 50 has trolled Diddy in recent months. TMZ reports that the two entered the restaurant together and dined in a VIP room for an hour and 20 minutes before leaving after midnight. Despite the night out, they didn’t display any egregious acts of public affection. The dinner date has sparked rumors of a reconciliation between the former couple that broke up back in December of last year.

While a lot of people are starting to want something more from her, she was still no less electric when she gave folks a show at Club LIV in Miami, presumably over this past weekend. Moreover, the St. Louis MC offered a barefoot rendition of some of her biggest hits in an uncharacteristically blue outfit. From the passionately screamed lyrics coming from attendees’ mouths you can hear in the clip below, you can tell it was a pretty fun time.

Yung Miami hasn’t said much about her alleged involvement in the Diddy accusations, but it turns out that she apparently has other legal issues to deal with. Moreover, a lawsuit server recently recorded the before and during process of serving her with a copyright infringement lawsuit from the “Act Bad” brand at her recent pool party in Houston. “Okay,” you can presumably hear the City Girl exclaim after he handed her the papers and quickly walked away. Many folks in the comments section of the video below remarked how this is questionable recording from a process server, and whether or not it should constitute significant action against him from his employers or otherwise.

Furthermore, it’s likely that she will let this roll off her shoulder as she has with the Diddy situation -– at least personally, as her legal team was quick to act. However, fans also want Yung Miami to respond to another situation: that of her City Girls partner JT. For those unaware, she and GloRilla had a pretty nasty social media spat recently, one with no resolution at press time despite less shots. Many feel that Miami should stick up for her rap teammate, but this is a situation in which folks probably don’t need others to step in to bodyguard.
