Megan Thee Stallion Formally Announces Her Upcoming Documentary

H-Town Hottie Megan Thee Stallion in the midst of another major stretch in her career. She remains to be a hot topic in the genre for many reasons. You can attribute it to the release of her third album, her tour, her W against Nicki Minaj, and etc. All of this and much more will surely be discussed in Megan Thee Stallion’s forthcoming documentary, In Her Own Words. The presumed tell-all multi-episode series will land onto Amazon Prime Video on Halloween. It will arrive in conjunction with her latest Hottieween celebration, which is also a fundraising event for folks of all walks of life that are in need.

Variety says that it’s going to focus on the last couple of years of the rapper’s life. Major lows and highs will be covered, and it’s directed by Nneka Onuorah, who pieced together Lizzo’s, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls. All of this was revealed back at the top of October, but now, she’s announcing it herself across her social media platforms. Megan dropped the official poster/artwork for In Her Own Words just minutes ago, along with the caption, “Hotties my documentary is out Oct 31st I’m nervous and excited for yall to see it butttt it’s finally here ”

GloRilla And Megan Thee Stallion Link Up Once Again On The In-Your-Face ‘How I Look’

GloRilla’s hotly anticipated new album Glorious is out today (October 11), and the project sees her teaming up with buddy Megan Thee Stallion on “How I Look.” The hard-hitting track sees the two continuing to foster the collaborative energy they established on “Wanna Be” earlier this year.

Last month, Glo and Megan expressed interest in making a joint album. In an interview, Meg said, “I think that would be very fire. I ain’t gon’ say too much, but it feels like it’s going to get done.” Glo added, “Megan is a real rapper, and I’m also a real rapper. We actually be talking and coming with bars on some down South gangsta sh*t. [It would be] some down South, real turnt, real rap [sh*t].”

This comes after GloRilla admitting she wasn’t sure about Megan when they first met, saying, “I first met you at your Hottieween party last year, and I ain’t gonna lie, I was kinda shy. You were just acting like you weren’t drinking that night. I was like… in my head, I’m like, ‘This b*tch ain’t acting like she ain’t drinking,’ like, ‘What’s up with this b*tch?’”

Additionally, the hitmaker was the host of VMAs. Overall, it’s just been a great run for her and a much needed one at that given everything she’s been through. Despite all of her wins through these first 10 months, she’s looking to go out with a bang. According to Billboard, the H-Town Hottie is throwing one heck of a Halloween bash which she cleverly calls, Hottieween.

If Mariah Carey is the unofficial “Queen of Christmas,” then Megan Thee Stallion is Halloween’s fan-crowned princess. Although the “Neva Play” rapper was born after Valentine’s Day, her favorite holiday is Halloween.

Later this month, Megan Thee Stallion will put her love for spooky season on full display. Today (October 8), Megan Thee Stallion took to her official X (formerly Twitter) page to announce the 2024 installment of her annual Hottieween party. On Halloween Day (October 31), Megan and the Hottie are slated to take over Chicago, Illinois for a good cause.

Hottieween is BIGGER than ever this year,” she wrote. “CHICAGO HOTTIES we had so much fun together at ‘Thee Hot Girl Summer Tour,’ so I hadddd to come celebrate Hottieween with y’all.”

The devilish video sets the mood for what’s to come. Every year, Megan Thee Stallion go above and beyond for her costume, which debuts online by way of an elaborate photoshoot head of the event.

At this time, the venue has not yet been revealed. However, in Megan Thee Stallion’s upload she promised that ticket sales will start this Friday, October 11. Hottieween 2024 is sponsored by Nando’s, NYX, True Religion, and more.

While Hottieween is indeed a party, all proceeds from the event go to Megan Thee Stallion’s Pete & Thomas Foundation. The P&T’s mission is to “seek to catalyze resources for women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities.”

Megan Thee Stallion Hostile Work Environment Lawsuit Finally Receives An Update

In late April, a pretty stunning update surrounding Megan Thee Stallion came down the pipeline. It was reported by NBC News that the rapper’s now ex-cameraman, Emilio Garcia, had some scathing allegations. Garcia, who claims to have worked with her from 2019-2023, filed a lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion for creating a “hostile, abusive work environment,” in addition to harassment. He alleges that he was fat-shamed and treated poorly overall. According to the paperwork, this all allegedly occurred while heading to Ibiza in June 2022. There was also another alleged incident that left Garcia feeling “uncomfortable” and “frozen.”

While in the back of an SUV, he alleges that Megan and another woman had sex right in front of him. After seeing that Garcia was an alleged witness to that sexual interaction, she allegedly told him, “Don’t ever discuss what you saw.” Then, following all of that, he alleges he was booked less and was eventually let go by Roc Nation. In the lawsuit, Garcia is looking for “unpaid wages, as well as interest on the unpaid wages, unpaid overtime wages and other employee benefits at the legal rate.” Megan and her team have publicly responded to these allegations, saying that they were “outlandish” and “manipulating.”

According to the outlet, Megan Thee Stallion was looking to get the case moved from Los Angeles to New York City. The California judge presiding over this case granted the MC’s wish. Additionally, Garcia declined to dismiss Roc Nation as a defendant. The updates aren’t massive, but at least it’s something. For now, we don’t when things will pick back up.

Earlier in the month, a campaign for Nicki Minaj’s sneaker line, Loci, went viral after users online noticed that it featured Megan Thee Stallion’s former friend, Kelsey Nicole.

However, on October 6, Nicki used downtime from Pink Friday 2 World Tour to address the growing backlash. In a post uploaded to X (formerly Twitter), Nicki slammed The Shade Room for promoting “a lie.”

“She posted a photo in my sneakers,” she wrote. “Me, nor my company knew anything about it until she posted it. So she did what many ppl did when they received my sneakers, they posted a photo in them.”

Nicki did extend compliments to the image. “Kelsey def went all the way out with this professional looking backdrop tho,” she wrote “But she is in no way professionally connected to my sneaker brand…Btw, did Kelsey not tell them she wasn’t modeling for the line Barbz? Did she just let them think that? I gotta get caught up y’all.”

Kelsey Nicole has since deleted the post. But that hasn’t stopped fans of both Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj from blasting her for seemingly attempting to add more fire to their longstanding feud.

In a fun animated video (viewable here), Cardi B’s new pet dominates the household. However, as odd as it may sound, this isn’t the first animal Cardi’s named WAP. Back in 2021, Cardi received a pitbull puppy as a Christmas gift, which was as named WAP. Cardi B can’t get enough of her WAP.
