Simone Biles & Jonathan Owens Married In Texas: Photos
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens officially tied the knot over the past weekend in Texas. Biles shared photos of the special occasion on her official Instagram account. The Olympic star shared a photo of herself and her new husband with the caption, “I do. Officially Owens.” The two were engaged for over a year before their big weekend. Biles became an instant star in her first-ever Olympics appearance. The distinguished Olympian was a part of one of the greatest Team USA gymnastics teams to ever assemble for the big event. On the flip side, Owens just finished his fourth year in the NFL with the Houston Texans. The new couple also shared a photo with their official marriage license. Simone Biles & Jonathan Owens Choose Forever
According to a Wall Street Journal interview from 2020, Biles says the two may have different stories about how their love began. “He would say I slid into his DMs,’ Biles revealed. I saw him and I was like, Oh, he’s pretty cute, so I said hi and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later.” A simple slide into a DM sparked the fire between the new couple. However, neither one is going to admit who instigated the conversation.
A special day that has been a year in the making has finally come true for Biles and Owens. An excellent moment for Owens to enjoy before entering training camp for the Texans upcoming season. Dating as a normal person is hard enough, but in the celebrity world, there are countless added pressures that make relationships even more difficult to maintain. While many couples inevitably crash and burn after putting in their best effort, others have weathered the course and stayed together through various ups and downs. Among them are Pusha T and his wife, Virginia Williams, who got candid about her marriage to the rapper during a recent Q&A session on her Instagram Story. Earlier this week, she got an inquiry asking, “Was it hard dating a celebrity in the beginning? How do you handle it now?”
The mother of one selected a photo of her and her husband as a background before diving into her honest response. “INITIALLY the only thing hard about it was being ok with being the oddball in the room,” Williams wrote. “Not looking like a ‘rapper girlfriend/wife,” she added, seemingly referring to the standard plastic surgery and cosmetic filler-clad appearance of others on the arms of popular artists. “I [used] to feel awkward amongst the women who had a fake ass, bodycon dress, and cake face,” Pusha T’s wife admitted.

However, it seems that she’s since become more confident in herself, noting at the end of her post that, “for a while now I’ve thought I’m way cooler 
.” While some IG users are inspired by Williams’ confidence, others think that she was being unnecessarily critical of women who undergo cosmetic enhancements. “That sounds like an insecure issue to me
,” one person wrote in @theneighborhood talk’s comment section. “Another woman’s body, real or fake never made me feel any type of way,” someone else chimed in. “What’s sad is we as women down each other down over men that’s gonna smash whichever woman he feels like it

Speaking in her defense, another user told a similar story of their own. “I appreciate her transparency and more women should speak on this. I’ve been to Dubai with my man and while I consider myself a very secure woman, all of the plastic surgery, etc can make you catch a few moments of insecurity,” they shared. “You start picking at your flaws because you are around so much cosmetic “perfection”. Chilli Reflects On “Amazing” Relationship With Matthew Lawrence
Chilli recently reflected on her “amazing” relationship with Matthew Lawrence at Variety’s Power of Women luncheon, earlier this week. The TLC singer spoke with Page Six about her relationship at the event.
“It’s real and there is nothing fake about it,” Chilli told the outlet. “I’m here with him because I wanna be and he wants to be. We’re just so happy, we really are. I honestly didn’t think that I would experience what I’m experiencing now and I was OK with that.” “He has changed everything, the way I look at relationships. It’s so different,” she added but stopped short of marriage when asked about their future. “We’re still in the beginning stages so we’ll see.”
Chilli & Matthew Lawrence
The comments from Chilli come after Lawrence previously had to clarify that the two are not trying to have a baby. He had caused confusion with remarks he made during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “That’s the game plan. That’s what we’re trying to do,” he previously said. “My life is in complete bloom right now. I get to spend time with an amazing woman like Chilli. I’ve never gotten to be able to experience that kind of relationship before. She’s really, really special.”
He later explained in a statement: “I missed the first go around and now he’s starting a new family. And I was thinking, ‘Man, it’d be great if we could do it again, when I didn’t have the chance to raise a family together.’ So that’s what I meant by that. I didn’t mean to put any pressure on somebody I was dating or anything.”
Lawrence and Chilli first confirmed they were dating back in January. Lawrence and his ex-wife, Cheryl Burke, finalized their divorce just a few months earlier. Lawrence and Chilli were first spotted together last summer. They also reportedly spent the holidays together in 2022.
