Lil Woody Weighs In On Young Thug Blasting Gunna On X Following Prison Release

Back in October, Young Thug was finally released from prison following a long and grueling trial. The rapper accepted a plea deal, and will now spend 15 years on probation. He also must follow various other release conditions, including not communicating with any YSL affiliates or alleged gang members. This excludes his brother and Gunna, with whom he specifically asked permission to work again. Of course, this request led some to believe that he and Gunna were on good terms, despite rampant snitching rumors surrounding the “fukumean” performer.

This all changed just days after Young Thug’s release, however, as he took to X with an interesting message. “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy,” it read. Immediately, social media users began to theorize that Young Thug had been hacked. Regardless, the tweet prompted a response from Gunna’s brother. “Trust and believe the feeling is mutual [blue P emoji],” he wrote, indicating that their friendship was over.

Lil Woody Is Ready To Put The Past Behind Him

During a recent interview with VladTV, Lil Woody shared his take on all of this, revealing that it’s the least of his concerns. “I’m happy to be alive and free, man,” he began. “Whatever happened with that situation is behind me, and I’m trying to keep it back there, to be honest. I don’t tune in with what’s going on or I don’t give a damn about it. Thug home, Gunna home, the other two finna be home… And you know, life moves on.” DJ Vlad proceeded to reference a quote made by Woody during his interview with The Danza Project earlier this year, suggesting that it allegedly holds true in this case.

“Betrayal doesn’t come because it’s already in your mind, it comes over circumstances,” Vlad repeated. “And that is one of the truest things I’ve ever heard.” Woody agreed, adding that those who haven’t been through what he has don’t have any room to judge him for his decisions.

Lil Woody Has One Question For Young Thug

Lil Woody says he’d have one question for Young Thug if he were to walk into the room during his recent interview with VladTV. The topic arose while Woody was discussing some of the life lessons he’s learned on the realities of gang life. At one point, Vlad poses the question as to what he’d say if Thug walked in at that very moment.

“I would ask him, ‘Did he build a relationship with God?’ When I heard him speak, I was like, Yeah.’ But, who knows? That’s his first time sitting in jail that long,” Woody said. When asked about whether Thug will violate the terms of his probation, Woody added: “He has a lot going for himself. But now, you’ve got the fans out here. You gotta please them to be able to sell.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Woody discussed his reaction to Thug’s plea deal. “I thanked God. I thanked God so much that day. Sh*t, I’ve been at peace ever since,” Woody said, adding that it was one of the best days of his life. “You gotta understand, after they let me off that stand, man, I had to block everything… I don’t care what people say or how they feel, but my conscious, I have one now. My conscious eats at me. When I heard what the D.A. was offering, 45 years do 25, I was like, ‘Wow.’ And then the plea that he took, it had me sweating like, ‘What in the world type of plea was that?’” He concluded: “I didn’t wanna see nothing bad happened to him.” He went on to describe Thug as a “pretty great guy.”

Lil Woody Explains Why He Doesn’t Feel Completely Responsible For Young Thug’s Trial

Young Thug YSL affiliate Lil Woody is standing up for himself. Recently, him and DJ Vlad conducted an exclusive interview together in which they mainly focused on the trial and its aftermath. Some clips include him talking about the lies, the ex-parte meeting, as well as his reaction to Thugger’s plea deal. Speaking of that, he was very nervous for the rapper’s future and was eventually stunned with the final results. “I thanked God. I thanked God so much that day. S***, I’ve been at peace ever since… When I heard what the D.A. was offering, 45 years do 25, I was like, ‘Wow,’” he explained.

“And then the plea that he took, it had me sweating like, ‘What in the world type of plea was that?’ I didn’t wanna see nothing bad happened to him,” Woody added. This type of energy is what he’s been on even during the trial despite what outsiders would want you to believe. Throughout the YSL RICO trial, he was constantly judged and berated online for his behavior and antics. Because of this, many were viewing him as the star witness, which he feels is a complete inaccuracy.

Lil Woody Feels His Culpability Was Blown Out Of Proportion

In the interview clip above, Woody explains why he believes he’s not as culpable as he was made out to be. He says, “Think what y’all wanna think, feel what y’all want to feel. Y’all can sit here and say I’m the main reason for this trial.” Lil Woody continued, “But if you really watching the trial and paying attention, you’ll see I wasn’t… I know I wasn’t. Think about it, if I gave a statement 2015, if I’m the main witness why is an arrest in 2022 whenever it was? If I’m the star witness and this whole trial based off me and the statements, I allegedly gave was 2015.”

Vlad then rebutted by saying that he did actually speak, but Woody said that because they wound up being not true, they become alleged. “My whole thing is everybody feel played,” Woody added in his overall thoughts on the matter. Overall, this is an explanation of why he apologized the way he did back in October. If you remember, he said, “I took him through a process that I never should have took him through. Even though I know I’m not the cause of it, despite how anybody may feel, it’s wrong.”

Lil Woody Reveals His Initial Response To Young Thug’s Plea Deal

Lil Woody spoke about how relieved he was to see Young Thug take a plea deal and avoid further prison time during a new interview with VladTV. Thug was able to get out of jail during the YSL RICO trial after taking that plea back in October. While he won’t serve further time behind bars, he’ll remain on probation for the next 15 years.

“I thanked God. I thanked God so much that day. Sh*t, I’ve been at peace ever since,” Woody remarked. From there, he admitted it was one of the best days of his life. “You gotta understand, after they let me off that stand, man, I had to block everything… I don’t care what people say or how they feel, but my conscious, I have one now. My conscious eats at me. N***a I was scared. I thought I could lose my life. I thought they would do some C.I.A. type sh*t to me.” As for whether he was even aware the meeting was illegal, Woody added: “I didn’t have a clue what was going on. Lil Woody recently reflected on the secret ex-parte meeting between Judge Ural Glanville, himself, and the prosecution during the YSL RICO trial for an interview with VladTV. The headline-grabbing meeting resulted in Young Thug’s attorney being found in contempt and Glanville’s eventual recusal.

“I don’t have a clue,” Woody admitted when asked about what went down. “I was lost man, I had never been to this side of the courthouse, I didn’t know where I was going. N***a I was scared. Woody then discussed Glanville finding Steel in contempt. He said: “When I was in the holding tank and I saw the sheriff bringing Brian Steel back there, it broke my heart. It broke my heart man. I looked at the lawyer. I didn’t know what was going on, but the way he looked at me. He gave me a look that just like made me cry like, ‘damn.’ I knew that lawyer was in trouble just by the look that he gave me.” From there, he described Steel’s look as saying, “This is all your fault.”

Lil Woody Asks DJ Vlad If He’s The Police And Recalls Demanding $50K For An Interview

VladTV recently hosted Lil Woody for an interview, who had a pretty funny moment with DJ Vlad while they were talking about the Young Thug and YSL RICO trial. For those unaware, Woody testified in court against Thug and company, although he then moved against the State in what was a pretty confusing and controversial series of events. During this conversation with Vlad, he even asked him if he’s with the police since he apparently knew that he was released from prison before everyone else. Vlad denied everything, and Woody gave the media personality his props while inquiring on his process.

In fact, DJ Vlad and Lil Woody even talked about how the former allegedly wanted $50K for an interview, but they couldn’t work it out. Also, Vlad didn’t want to interview Woody while he was still involved with the YSL RICO trial, as his media appearances showed up in court. Elsewhere, the YSL affiliate also reflected on how he lied about Young Thug as a hostile witness and what that whole controversy taught him. It was a tough choice, but one that he’s happy to unpack.

Lil Woody Asks DJ Vlad If He Works With The Police

“If the first judge stayed on that case – I’ma shut up,” Lil Woody told DJ Vlad. “When you sitting right here protecting yourself from whatever things they’re trying to put on you – if you go look at my past, every time I went to jail, I went to jail for them throwing charges on me. So, when they question me, I know they’re trying to get me. So what am I gonna do? I’m gonna protect me. I’m not expecting these people to actually take my word because even when they asked my name, I ain’t commit no crime, I’m driving a car, ‘What’s your name?’ I give ’em somebody else’s name. Y’all know I’m a liar.”

Meanwhile, DJ Vlad also opened up about the YFN Lucci stabbing. For those unaware, an alleged YSL affiliate stabbed Lucci in Fulton County Jail back in March of 2022, which Woody labeled as a “lame” move. Also, he reflected on facing similar attacks during his time in prison.

Lil Woody Explains Admitting To Lies About Young Thug As A Hostile Witness In The YSL RICO Trial

Lil Woody has reflected on his role in the YSL RICO trial, speaking about the case with VladTV for an interview published over the weekend. The conversation began with Vlad bringing up the recusals of Judge Ural Glanville and Judge Sakura Ingram, noting that he feels the verdict may be different if either of them stayed on. Woody declined to comment on that aspect of the trial. “If the first judge stayed on that case– I’ma shut up,” he remarked.

From there, the two discussed Woody becoming a hostile witness during the trial, with Vlad mentioning that he snitched on fake people. Woody replied: “When you use the word snitch, a snitch would be like, ‘Hey, Vlad flew me to New York to commit this act. And this is what actually took place,’ with all the details and the facts. But, when you sitting right here protecting yourself from whatever things they’re trying to put on you– if you go look at my past, every time I went to jail, I went to jail for them throwing charges on me. Woody appeared on the stand as a witness during several hearings in the YSL RICO trial. At one point, he made headlines for admitting to having lied about Young Thug to authorities in the past. “The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said at the time. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

In a candid new interview, YSL Woody—an associate of rapper Young Thug—opened up about his deep regret for his role in the Fulton County RICO case that has rocked the hip-hop community. Woody, whose confession played a key role in the case against Young Thug and the YSL crew, has now come forward to express his heartfelt apology for the pain and suffering he believes he caused.

During the interview with Ryan of Hip Hop Tours of Atlanta, Woody was asked, “If you could walk in that courtroom and say one thing, what would that be?”

In response, Woody offered an emotional apology:
“I’m sorry… for the pain, the suffering, everything I caused on him and his family. I’m sorry for everything. I wish I had the strength and the mindset that I have now. I’ll never forgive myself.”

Woody’s statement reflects a deep sense of remorse for his actions, particularly as they impacted Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Williams. In the interview, Woody opened up about how much his mindset has evolved since the events that led to his pivotal confession in the case. The YSL RICO trial has been one of the most highly-publicized legal battles in hip-hop, and Woody’s involvement as a cooperating witness has been scrutinized by fans and media alike.

This exclusive interview marked a shift from the typical courtroom conversations, offering a rare glimpse into Woody’s personal journey and struggles beyond the headlines. Lil Woody Calls Out Charleston White For Trash-Talking Him During Interviews

Lil Woody has become an infamous figure in hip hop. He’s become much better known, but for all the wrong reasons. Woody, aka YSL Woody, has been described as the “star witness” in the YSL Rico case against Young Thug. He’s run into a lot of disrespect from his peers as a result. He traded verbal shots with other YSL members on social media. Now, it seems, he’s airing out his mangled relationship with hip hop personality Charleston White.

Lil Woody sat down with Adam22 to discuss his falling out with White in detail. He admitted that he used to be cool with White, but felt that the hip hop personality was being two-faced when he got on camera. “I had a lot of respect for him,” Lil Woody stated. “I used to watch his interviews and stuff, on YouTube.” Where things went awry, though, is when Charleston White started labeling Woody a “killer.” He also started talking poorly about the rapper to his Instagram audience. “He getting on the internet, [talkin’ about] I’m a killer,” he noted. “Like dang, bro, me and don’t talk about none of this stuff.”

Lil Woody Warned White To “Stop Playing”

Lil Woody said that his respect for Charleston White dwindled after he noticed the latter paining him in a consistently negative light. “I had [love] for you,” he recalled. “I thought that you had that same thing for me. But you wanna get on these platforms and say I’m a killer.” Woody felt that White’s handling of the situation between them has been intentional as a means of provoking him. He pointed to a specific Instagram post in which White tried to start beef between Lil Woody and Boozie Badazz. The rapper made it clear that he did want to have “problems” with anybody.

Lil Woody may be a lightning rod for controversy. That said, he told Adam22 that he wants to put all that behind him. “I ain’t out here trying to mess with nobody,” he insisted. “I done did that for too many years of my life. I’m trying to move forward with it.” Lil Woody made it clear that he doesn’t play when he has beef with someone, and he feels like White is not ready to get into a real confrontation. He effectively warned White to drop the antics. “I know how I can get,” he warned the hip hop personality. “And you playing.” Hopefully the two men can reconcile.

Lil Woody Clowned By Ralo For Impromptu Speech At A Law Class

Lil Woody has been enjoying his freedom as a result of his role as a state’s witness in the YSL RICO trial, and this has manifested in bizarre ways. Most recently, he apparently was a guest speaker at a law class. While the clip below doesn’t show what Woody specifically talk about, we can assume that it was almost definitely about this court case. After all, they even previewed some footage from one of his testimonies on the witness stand, as you can see on one of the visible screens in the video. In the comments section of Akademiks’ post below, though, Ralo couldn’t help but mock this. “Like I said he round this bih living it up,” he wrote.

Furthermore, we can assume that Ralo isn’t a big fan of Lil Woody’s testimony, but the former is dealing with other beef at the moment. “You think you just gone go up on me while im in prison can’t fight for myself and when i get out I wasn’t gone say s**t,” he recently ranted against Boosie Badazz during their bizarre social media feud. “Ima delete everything I said off my page for the people, but that conversation is needed fam…”

Lil Woody At A Law Class: See Comments For Ralo’s Reaction

Elsewhere, Lil Woody recently took a break from all his court antics to pay tribute to Rich Homie Quan amid news of his passing. “RIP,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, posting a picture of RHQ with Young Thug. “I hate this happen I pray that God protect thug and them from this country.” Considering the complicated bond that these Atlanta rap figures shared over the past decade-plus, this is a tragic end with a heartfelt sense of solidarity.

Meanwhile, we’ll see whether or not the Welcome Home rapper has anything else to say about the YSL RICO trial or Lil Woody’s role in it. It’s a very hot topic and one that elicits a lot of scrutiny, especially with all the courtroom firestorms and scandals that pop up on occasion. Maybe Ralo would rather keep quiet and wait for what happens. But we doubt that Woody will do the same, especially as more footage from this law class will surely emerge.
