Fans of Summer Walker have unfortunately watched the Atlanta native struggle through her romantic endeavours throughout the years. She and London On Da Track produced a beautiful daughter, Bubbles together, but ultimately couldn’t work through their differences to build a healthy relationship. After healing through that trauma, Walker met Larry, another artist, who’s the father of her two twins who were born in late 2022. Despite their best efforts, those two also couldn’t make it last, leaving the songbird to enjoy her life as a single woman – until Lil Meech came along.

Walker and the BMF actor were boo’d up for most of the summer months, but according to her, she ultimately grew tired of his cheating ways. The 27-year-old has fallen victim to similar behaviour in the past, and while she initially thought Meech was different from other men, she was left disappointed. Thankfully, Walker is a professional at capitalizing on her pain at this point and has already been joking about heading to the studio to make a record based on her recent breakup online.

Summer Walker Suggests She’s Making Music About Her Recent Breakup

On Friday (September 8) afternoon, the “Playing Games” hitmaker posted a video that channels the energy she plans to bring into the studio for her next session. “Me heading to the studio to talk about somebody mama. Jk lmao,” Summer wrote in the caption. As you may recall, she previously dissed her first baby daddy’s mother on “4th Baby Mama,” and it seems Meech’s family matriarch might find herself receiving similar treatment.

All jokes aside, Summer Walker hasn’t officially confirmed when we’ll be hearing her next LP, though we do know she’s on the tracklist for Diddy’s The Love Album: Off the Grid, which is due out later this month. Her last full-length project, Still Over It, landed back in late 2021 and remains in rotation for many to this day. Well, in a recently uploaded TikTok from none other than King Von’s sister, we see that some history still inspires jokes. In the clip, Von’s relative holds some groceries in her hands as the “BMF” actor stands beside her. The audio that plays, one of Meech saying he was helping his cousin out with some groceries, prompted her to laugh and him to give a middle finger.

Moreover, for those unaware, this refers to what many see as Lil Meech’s excuse for cheating on Summer Walker. It propped up because fans found a clip of him bringing another woman into his abode with some bags. In his excuse, Demetrius Flenory Jr. said that he just helped his cousin out with some groceries. Jayda Cheaves and Summer Walker have been at each other’s throats for weeks now. It all stems from Walker’s now-ended relationship with Lil Meech. Meech reportedly cheated on Walker, and while breaking up with Meech, Walker had taken shots at Cheaves. “Tried my best to be Jayda Wayda but I couldn’t. It was cute though, I wish him the best. Can’t do that cheatin shit.” Now, once again, Cheaves has taken another shot, seemingly at Walker. While on Live, an intoxicated Cheaves said she was about to “be on her head like Summer Walker.” The line referred to Walker’s now-viral pictures of her doing a handstand surrounded by cash.

Walker’s stray for Cheaves got a lot of backlash. “I don’t think Summer meant it like that,” one user chimed in. “But it would have been best to not name-drop, especially if y’all are cool?” they added. In a post made to her Instagram story earlier today, Walker considers if there might be an entirely new species she could try. “I’m finna see what’s up with these aliens… cause the human ones is out the question for me lmao.” The post sparked a variety of reactions from fans with some seeming to wonder if she was still okay. “Some people really can’t be by themselves,” says the top comment on a repost of the story by The Shade Room.

Elsewhere in the comments fans seemed convinced that Summer Walker is right to be avoiding men. One rap diva who’s definitely not facing criticism for her stage presence these days is Sexyy Red. While other up-and-comers have been called out for relying too heavily on twerking and other salacious stunts, the St. Louis native has the men of rap lining up to meet her, and recent performances have been jam-packed. On Friday (August 4) night, the Hood Hottest Princess took the stage in Atlanta, and seeing as she’s friends with plenty of the city’s biggest names in music, she decided to bring them out as a surprise. Summer Walker was among the group, as were Saucy Santana and Sukihana.

As you may recall, the mother of three announced her split from BMF actor Lil Meech earlier this week and has been making the most of Hot Girl Summer since then. Interestingly, the 23-year-old was spotted in the crowd during Red’s performance, and while his ex was shaking her booty with her besties, Meech seemed to be doing his best to avoid looking in her general direction.

After confirming a split with Lil Meech, Summer Walker blasted the BMF star after he was caught on a Ring camera with another woman. Meech hit Instagram and said he was helping his cousin with whom he went to the grocery store.

Summer would hit her Instagram stories with a statement:

Sharing to her 5.7 million followers on Instagram, the “Girls Need Love” recording artist shared her thoughts on Instagram Story: “Tried my best to be jayda wayda but I couldn’t.” This seemingly alludes to Jayda Cheaves’ relationship with Lil Baby, which ended up in a split.

In fact, Jayda entered the chat on The Shade Room, commenting, ““I learned my lesson after ONE kid. Mfers round here starting they own trends and tryna INSERT ME in for laughs on the shade room. NO 😭”

Summer Walker continued on her Story: “It was cute though, I wish him the best.”

On the next slide, Summer Walker confirmed by writing, “Can’t do that cheatin stuff.”

To further fuel the fire, Summer Walker proceeded to post a 54-second clip from her interview with Yung Miami, touching on what she won’t put up with in a relationship.

Just earlier this month, a woman named Tiffany Marie DM’ed Summer Walker on Instagram, claiming she was pregnant with Lil Meech’s child. She wrote, “Hey girl, I just wanted to come to you woman to woman before I go to the blogs. Me and Meech have been seeing each other for the past four months and now I am pregnant. He blocked me on social media so I can’t even reach him and he changed his phone number. So maybe you can relay the message since he decided to ghost me.”

Meech then took things into his own hands, responding to Tiffany via Summer’s IG. He wrote: “Bitch, why are you lying. This meech. You don’t know me. Stop playing before I have somebody at your job.”
