If you’re among those who feel that reality TV has lost its appeal in the social media age, you might want to check out the latest shenanigans on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta before you retire watching for good. Since Blueface is behind bars and unable to provide us with new episodes of his various shows, Momma Dee has stepped up to deliver the family drama some have been missing.

The reality starlet is incredibly protective of her son, Lil Scrappy, particularly when it comes to the role of his ex, Bambi Benson in their lives. Dee has put her co-star on blast more than once, even recently accusing the 38-year-old and her mother of facing jail time for fraud. On a new episode of the MTV series, Bambi feels the heat as Dee premieres a diss track aimed at her, inviting all of their friends to a party to watch her wild music video. “Guards, protect the kingdom!” the 60-year-old declares in the clip while dressed as a mermaid.

L&HHATL Cast Reacts to Momma Dee’s Diss Track

“Thirsty a** h**, I’m the Queen of the throne / Big teeth h** now ya on your own,” she confidently raps over the interesting beat. “Thirsty a** h**, been knew you’s a groupie / Sloppy a** h**, you premiered in a jacuzzi,” Dee goes on before calling Bambi out for allegedly lying about her age, among other things. “What took me to the level to release my song [was] when Bambi attempted to attack me,” the Atlanta native shared during a confessional portion of the episode. “I’ve lost all respect for that b**ch.”

Even though Lil Scrappy has happily moved on with a new woman, Momma Dee continues to berate his ex. As of late, he’s been spending time with Erica Dixon, who’s been teasing some potential upcoming releases with her followers on social media. Because of this, some are starting to compare Scrappy to Blueface, who’s known for putting his baby mamas on to the rap game. After everything that unfolded at Tamar Braxton’s Love & War concert this past weekend, emotions are running high in the music community. Above all else, there’s concern for James Wright Chanel. He’s posting from the dentist’s office this week, confirming his plans for a new set of teeth after an assault by Chrisean Rock. Opinions on the matter have been pouring in non-stop, from questions about why the Baddies cast member was even at a Braxton concert to begin with, to a select few suggesting the 46-year-old is the one to blame for her friend’s pain.

On Monday (November 13), Tamar addressed many of our burning questions in a lengthy Instagram video. She admitted to previously looking at Rock as a “little sister” figure and still seems insistent that the public avoid sending her hate at this time. Still, she hopes to see justice brought forth for James in all of this and has managed to keep mostly calm and composed amid all the turmoil. One person we’ve seen cause Braxton to step out of character is Tommie Lee, who’s been insinuating that the “Let Me Know” vocalist only invited Rock to come out to the Baltimore show to use her name for clout.

When the incident unfolded in real-time, the actress claimed she didn’t receive any sort of backlash from creators. Instead, she proceeded to fulfill her work obligations as per usual. When the episode finally aired, however, Mena was blasted by many viewers, causing her to ultimately lose her job. During a new interview with Carlos King, the 35-year-old addressed the situation. She noted that she thinks it could’ve been handled in a far more professional manner.

“When it happened, I knew I f**ked up that day,” Mena recalled. “But then I was filming for months and months. I knew it was coming, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this bad,” she added, reflecting on the non-stop headlines about her in the final weeks of summer. “What’s not okay is [that] if this is as bad as the network says it is, why wasn’t I let go of a long time ago?” the New York native asked the question on many people’s minds.

Trina & Florence El Luche Clash On “L&HH Miami,” Former Accused Of Haitian Hate Speech

Love & Hip Hop stars have been causing plenty of ruckus lately, from shamelessly using racial slurs to dishing on their sex lives. In the latter category is Prince, who revealed on the We in Miami podcast that he allegedly slept with Lori Harvey. As for the former, Erica Mena lost her job on the reality series for calling Spice a “monkey” during an altercation. Now, some viewers are suggesting Trina should get the same treatment for comments that came out during a fight with Florence El Luche on L&HH Miami.

Footage of the incident is currently circulating online, causing people to debate whether or not the Florida native intended to offend her co-star and her Haitian roots. In the video below, chaos quickly ensues between cast members, during which Trina is accused by Gaelle of robbing her sister, Flo. The 44-year-old didn’t hesitate to deny these allegations, grabbing a nearby microphone to make sure her response was heard loud and clear.

In the world of Love & Hip Hop, Erica Mena’s removal from the show has been the hottest topic in the news for the past few weeks. After an educational special on the dangers of racism was aired, though, the world seemed to move on as they awaited the next reality TV scandal. There’s been plenty of feuding taking place on Baddies East, but today (October 11), footage of an altercation between Eliza Reign and Shay Johnson on the set of L&HH Miami began making rounds across the internet.

In the clip below, Johnson is obviously furious with Future’s baby mama as she yells at her from inside a building. “Here go the ugly a** h*e right here,” her rant began. “Future said the b**ch is ugly as f**k. Let me get out of here so I can get to this punk,” the 40-year-old said while pushing past producers. “There go your turkey baster a** h*e. Come up in here! You look like Skeletor!” Johnson continued to hurl insults at Reign after insinuating she did the most to ensure she got pregnant with the Atlanta native’s child.

Shay Johnson Lashes Out at Eliza Reign on L&HH

“Look at this ugly a** h*e. I can see why Future wasn’t never claiming that baby or her mother f**king a**. Future claim everybody but this b**ch! Look at her,” Johnson continued to berate Reign. From behind the door, Eliza appears to yell back, though what she had to say to her co-star was mostly unintelligible. “Oh my God! And she got a botched BBL… One cheek is leaning… Orangutan looking a**!” Johnson’s hateful tirade went on.

Those who have kept up with Eliza Reign since her split from Future know that co-parenting with him hasn’t been easy. “Love & Hip-Hop: Houston” Is In The Works: Details

Fans of the Love & Hip Hop franchise will be excited to hear news of a new Love & Hip Hop Houston spinoff that includes notable artists from the city. It has been reported that a new show is in the works as of now. Rumors began in 2016 of a new Love & Hip Hop franchise that was set to expand to the city but there wasn’t much development on the subject. During that time, there were talks of potential cast members such as Jhonni Blaze, Mehgan James, Kirko Bangz, and Just Brittany. Additionally, a roster of several other renowned Houston natives who are embedded in the music industry were considered.

However, production was reportedly stopped indefinitely due to safety concerns for the crew on set. According to insiders, there were alleged acts of extreme violence between cast members and issues with those local to the area, citing the set as “too chaotic”. As months turned to years, there was little insight on whether or not the plans for Love & Hip Hop: Houston would ever come to fruition.

“Love & Hip-Hop Houston” Receives A Revival

In 2018, efforts to create a Houston version of the reality franchise resurfaced. There were even reports that suggested that form Destiny’s Child member Letoya Luckett may be part of the cast. She quickly denied the claims in a social media post in which she stated, “Hey Loves! So yeaaa NO! I am NT on the new season of ‘Love & Hip Hop Houston’. Not sure where that even came from. BUT u can catch me on Season 3 of Single Ladies on VH1 #Felicia.”

Now, according to inside sources, executives at the Love & Hip Hop franchise are determined to make Love & Hip Hop: Houston a reality. Conversations regarding the potential spin-off have reportedly resumed, and VH1 is actively searching for talent. They have not specified the individuals they are considering for the cast. Although, it is possible that a completely new lineup will be assembled. Overall, this would counter the rumored participants of 2016 and 2018. Erica Mena Calls “L&HH” Out For Filming Post-“Monkey” Debacle, Won’t Appear On Racism Roundtable Tonight

Now that Erica Mena has had some time to process all the chaos that quickly unfolded in her life over the final weeks of summer, the reality starlet is using her platform to speak out. She recently lost her role on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta after using derogatory language toward another cast member, Spice, specifically calling the Jamaican artist a “monkey.” When viewers witnessed the moment on TV, backlash quickly came flying in for both Mena and MTV, who have since parted ways.

Social media users spent much time debating whether there was racist intent behind the New Yorker’s word choice or not. Some noted that it’s not uncommon for two Caribbean women to speak to each other in such a manner, but others feel that it’s not cool for Mena to use a word with such negative connotations when raising Black children of her own. Many of these conversations are likely to come up on tonight’s (September 26) roundtable racism episode of L&HH.

A recent tweet from the show’s official account confirmed that the episode will air at 9 PM, following the season finale of L&HH: ATL. “The roundtable discussed the recent events that aired on the show before MTV decided to stop filming with Erica Mena,” they explained. “International colourism expert Dr. Sarah L. Webb, founder and owner of Colourism Healing” will appear with Spice, Yandy, Joc, Scrappy, Sierra, Amy, and Rasheeda to discuss the incident.

While it’s nice to see at least some action taken, many fans feel as though the conversation doesn’t have much point if Mena isn’t in attendance. Interestingly, she’s been using her own platform to put MTV producers on blast for not firing her immediately after her Spice diss, if they found it so troubling.

K. Michelle “I’m The Problem” Album Review

K Michelle’s presence has been undeniable in the R&B scene for the past decade, delivering six albums that showcase her unique vocals, raw emotions, and unfiltered authenticity. In her final R&B album, I’m The Problem, she explores love, pain, and self-discovery through 19 soulful songs.

The album begins with a spoken word piece titled, “Intro: Lots of Nothing, Pt.1,” which sets the tone for the rest of the album. K Michelle declares that she is the problem in her relationships, hence the album’s title, and that she is ready to face her demons and partake in the healing process from past wounds. She then takes listeners on a musical journey that spans different genres, and moods.

I’m The Problem Highlights

With the diversity present in I’m The Problem, we could touch on each track and explore the depths of artistry displayed, but instead, we will touch on some highlights. One of the tracks, “Blame Yourself,” is a fiery anthem that calls out the “Scooch” singer‘s ex-lover for his betrayal. She belts with conviction and sass over a hard-hitting beat, delivering lyrics like, “You can’t blame me for your problems / You can’t blame me for your karma / You can’t blame me for your drama / You can only blame yourself.” The song was released as the third single from the album, along with a cinematic video that features K. Michelle as a femme fatale.

Another highlight from the album is the song “This Man,” which is a heartbreaking ballad showcasing K. Michelle’s vast vocal range and authentic vulnerability. The lyricist sings about a man who left her for another woman and how she still struggles to move on. She pours her emotions over a simple piano accompaniment, making the song feel intimate and personal. In I’m The Problem, K. Michelle is saying farewell to her R&B career and going out with a bang. The diversity and cohesiveness of the album showcase her growth as both an artist and a woman. The album fully reflects her personality, her struggles, and her triumphs. She proves that she is not afraid to be herself, even if that means being the problem sometimes.

Nicki Minaj Stole “Buy A Heart” & Meek Mill’s Chain From K. Michelle, “L&HH” Star Alleges

Thanks to social media, most of the drama that unfolds within the music industry is quickly plastered across the internet for fans to react to. However, there are still things that go down behind closed doors, some of which only come to light years later during podcast interviews or dramatic blowouts. Since Nicki Minaj confirmed her Pink Friday 2 album is dropping later this year, there’s been a notable increase in the number of unflattering stories about the mother of one in the news. K. Michelle only contributed to that while recording an episode of R&B Money, reflecting on some things that Minaj allegedly stole from her earlier in their careers.

“‘Buy A Heart’ was on a Meek Mill album, and Nicki Minaj’s mean a** took it from me,” the 41-year-old told Tank and J Valentine. “Atlantic Records put me in with Meek Mill ‘cuz he needed some love songs,” she explained to the confused hosts. “He played that record, it wasn’t on his album. I said, ‘Oh, you sleeping on this.’ So I got the record,” Michelle shared. At the time, she wasn’t aware of the Philly native’s romantic relationship with Minaj, but the Queen of Rap was well aware of her existence.

K. Michelle Recalls Uncomfortable Past with Nicki Minaj

“I had never slept with Meek, none of that,” the “Can’t Raise a Man” singer clarified. “She wanted to take the record from me, and she said that he had to take back his chain from me.” Michelle noted that she was always a fan of Minaj’s, and didn’t think she had done anything to upset the “Only” artist.

In the end, “Buy A Heart” ended up on one of Minaj’s previous albums with her then-boyfriend as a featured artist. It’s been nearly a decade since The Pinkprint first landed, but its influence remains undeniable – even if the Trinidadian wasn’t the original owner of all the songs.
