Nicki Minaj has helped save December, which often ends up being the most boring month of the year in terms of music releases, with her new album, Pink Friday 2. Since the project was released at midnight, fans have been appreciating the music and exploring Minaj’s latest lyrics. Some believe that at one point on the record, Minaj takes a stab at Latto.
Does Nicki Minaj diss Latto on “Fallin 4 U” from Pink Friday 2?
According to Genius, towards the end of the third verse of “Fallin 4 U,” Minaj raps, “Picture you endin’ up under the seat, where the dread at? / Picture not listenin’ when I said that you would dread that / I mean locs, ho, you-you’s a chop ho.” Some, though, have heard the final line as, “I mean locked, ho, you’s a chop ho,” or, “I mean Latto, you’s a chop ho,” as XXL notes.
The lyric as it appears on Genius seems to make the most sense logically, given that the reference to “locs” connects with the “dread” (as in the type of hair) lyric from the previous lines. Still, some listeners took to social media to comment about the supposed Latto diss.
“Picture you not listening when I said you would dread that. I mean Latto, you’s a chop h*e” oh Nicki Minaj… ur insane. pic.twitter.com/7OIycTLYOY
Nicki Minaj is someone who the fans are always clamoring for. Overall, she is one of the most successful women rappers of all-time and she continues to elevate. For years, fans have been waiting for her next project. On Friday, she gave them what they wanted as she dropped Pink Friday 2. Of course, this is a follow-up to her debut of the same name. Although it was going to be a tough task to truly recreate the success of the original, Nicki seemed up to the task.
Sonically, there is a lot of variety on this album. Furthermore, there are quite a few bars that are now being dissected by fans. For instance, on the song “FTCU,” there is a not-so-subtle shot at Megan Thee Stallion. While the two used to be cool, it does not seem that way anymore. In fact, Nicki even decided to poke the bear and make fun of the Tory Lanez situation. “Stay in your Tory lane, bitch, I’m not Iggy,” she says on the track. It is a pretty obvious reference and you can’t help but wonder how Meg will take it.
Moreover, fans already know that her and Latto are not on good terms these days. They keep throwing shots at one another, and that did not stop on this latest project, or so it seems. On the song “Fallin 4 U,” Nicki takes arguably much subtler shots at Latto than she did Meg. “Picture you endin’ up under the seat, where the dread at?/ Picture not listenin’ when I said you would dread that/ I mean locs, ho, you-you’s a chop ho/ I’m number one, y’all go argue over top four/ Clean, sweep, you gettin’ mopped, ho,” she spits on the song.
A Latto Diss?
Regardless of the disses, it seems as though fans are liking the album so far. Let us know what you think of Pink Friday 2, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed.

SOHH Family, let’s show these phenomenal ladies some love, and have a wonderful weekend!
Entertainers have a simple holiday wish, stop throwing sh*t onstage during performances. Just when you thought the gross trend had died off, news of its resurgence flooded social media.
While in Los Angeles for Rod Wave’sNostalgia Tour stop on November 29, “Waste My Time” singer Ari Lennox fell victim to an attendee’s desperate and unacceptable cry for attention. Lennox was nearly hit with what appeared to be a water bottle hurled by a concertgoer. Lennox verbally ripped the fan a new one as the crowd cheered her on. Yesterday (November 30), for the tour’s next stop in Oakland, Lennox sported a helmet just in case someone tried the stunt again.
In a video shared by a fan, Lennox fiercely swayed onstage to her song “Shea Butter,” she temporarily rethought things. “Hey, Oakland. My name is Ari Lennox… I don’t know should I keep this thing on or what,” Lennox asked the crowd.
Lennox is known for her sharp sense of humor, but given the injuries sustained by Bebe Rexha in June, when she was hit in the eye with a phone, musicians aren’t willing to take any chances. Latto was nearly willing to grapple with one fan at Rolling Loud Germany who threw something at her. Hell, Cardi B took it a step further by throwing her microphone at a concertgoer who splashed her with water.
Fortunately for Lennox, the show went off without any new incidents.

Forbes dropped their annual 30 Under 30 Lists this week, honoring some big names that are making a significant impact in their respective fields. For musicians, Ice Spice, Trippie Redd, Steve Lacy, and Latto were included among the recipients.
Others on this year’s class list were all three members of Boygenius (Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus), Gracie Abrams, Dominic Fike, Peso Pluma, Reneé Rapp, and Kali Uchis.
Ice Spice didn’t come as a surprise, considering how she took over the music scene this year. She dropped her Princess Diana EP, after getting a boost through hits like the title track, “Bikini Bottom,” and more. She appeared on the soundtrack of the Barbie movie alongside Nicki Minaj. She also collaborated with PinkPantheress, Taylor Swift, and more.
Lacy was previously honored this year on the Time Most Influential People of 2023 list. He continued performing his hit “Bad Habit,” including at the Grammys this year, and dropped a new video for his song, “Helmet.”
And Rapp has remained incredibly busy, dropping her debut album, Snow Angel, and securing the lead role in the forthcoming Mean Girls reboot movie.
Most of the recipients released new albums or projects this year, thus making their inductions feel like a tribute to their hard work. To view the rest of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, visit their official website.

Latto is one of the Hip-Hop stars who made the latest edition of the Forbes 30 under 30 list. During her feature story, she recalled The Rap Game launching her to become a household name.
“That was my first launchpad for my career,” Latto said. “But social media wouldn’t have been a thing if I wasn’t putting in that groundwork, like hustling and networking.”
Latto also states she caught “the tail-end of two generations” as she is able to adjust her brand to be fitting for TikTok.
Additional music entries in the list include Ice Spice and Steve Lacy.
Recently, Latto pointing fingers at hip-hop fans for causing a divide among the women of rap. Speaking with XXL, Latto believes stan culture drives the beef between women in rap.
“I think it really don’t be a problem until we let fans, Stans, whatever you want to call them, like the outsiders once they get in the mix. I think that’s what stirs the pot,” Latto said. “Because it’s like, we will all be fans of each other and commenting and following each other, whatever, but then once they get to comparing, they will turn us against each other, which is very weak-minded of us as female rappers.”
She added, “I think we be falling for these traps that they put on female rappers.”
To close out the month, Latto will create a all-women cypher.
Latto has curated an all-women cypher with XXL featuring Flo Milli, Monaleo, Maiya The Don and Mello Buckz out November 28th
Latto is officially a part of the fastest single to hit a billion streams in Spotify history. Latto joined Jung Kook on the “Seven” single earlier this year, which racked up a billion plays faster than any song ever. It only took just over three months.
Latto notched the first No. 1 single placement for Hip-Hop in 2023. Latto‘s collaboration with Jung Kook, “Seven,” lands at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in July, making her the first rapper to get to that position in 2023. It is the first No. 1 of Latto’s career.
Latto celebrated the achievement on her Instagram story: “Oop am I a bora girl now? Forever grateful!! Thanks JK for trusting me! Armypots up +10000.”
Jung Kook is a K-pop star and a member of the group BTS. The single is believed to be the first from his forthcoming album.
“Seven” also topped the global Spotify chart in July with 10.937 million streams.
Now that December is practically here, publications are rolling out their annual recap articles in various formats. For Forbes, it’s their annual “30 Under 30” issue that currently has the Internet talking for more reasons than one. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Ice Spice made the outlet’s round-up after her one-of-a-kind rise to fame, but another rap diva she spent part of her 2023 beefing with can be found on the list as well. Elsewhere, 21-year-old Angel Reese gets her flowers for her role in leading LSU to its first-ever women’s basketball national championship, even with all that’s been going on with her in the media lately.
One of the older stars whom Forbes is honouring is Drew “Druski” Desbordes, a content creator and comedian who often links with friends in the hip-hop world like Jack Harlow and Drake. Earlier this year, the 29-year-old made major moves in launching his sports management agency, proving that for all the laughter he’s provided fans with over the years, he can be a strategic businessman too.
Trippie Redd continues his recent winning streak with an appearance on the “30 Under 30” list as well. He just unleashed a new album and confirmed the birth of his adorable son, making this year undeniably one of the biggest of his career and personal life to date. Others to add the impressive accolade to their resume this fall include supermodel and 818 Tequila founder Kendall Jenner, multi-talent musician Steve Lacy, and Ice Spice’s aforementioned op, Latto.
Elsewhere in the latter rap diva’s world, she’s got a new cypher to celebrate. The “Wheelie” hitmaker teamed up with XXL and fellow femcees Flo Milli, Monaleo, Maiya The Don, and Mello Buckzz to take turns spitting some of their boldest bars in recent memory. Check that out at the link below, and tap back in later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
In a hip-hop landscape dominated by male artists, XXL shook up the scene with an All-Women Cypher that left fans wanting more. Featuring heavy hitters like Latto, Flo Milli, Monaleo, Maiya The Don, and Mello Buckzz, the cypher showcased an undeniable chemistry that resonated with rap enthusiasts across the board. Social media was in excitement as fans took to X to share their thoughts on the new cypher. “Mello Buckzz CLEARED,” exclaimed one user, echoing the sentiments of many who were impressed by her standout performance. The rising star proved she could hold her own among the seasoned rappers, leaving fans eager for more from her in the future.
With DJ Carisma spinning the mixes in the background, it was an unforgettable moment. However, it was Monaleo who emerged as a standout, sparking intense conversations online. “They all ate it up, but WHY DF DID MONALEO snap like she did!? Like why!?” questioned a fan on social media. Monaleo’s bars, delivered with an unapologetic ferocity, left a memorable mark. However, her cypher undoubtedly solidified her as a force to be reckoned with in the rap game.
However, fans were quick to shower praise on the entire lineup. “They all did so good omg Latto and Monaleo spazzed, and Flo is so underrated, I love her voice,” gushed one person. Another fan chimed in, asserting, “Monaleo and Flo Milli went the hardest.” The appreciation wasn’t limited to just one standout artist, with supporters acknowledging the unique strengths each rapper brought to the cypher. “Latto ate down,” declared one fan, emphasizing the undeniable impact of Latto’s verses. Moreover, the sentiment was echoed by another person who marveled at Maiya The Don, stating, “Maiya the Don… Just wow..!!!”
However, in an industry often criticized for its lack of female representation, the XXL All-Women Cypher served as a powerful reminder of the talent that exists within the female rap community. Additionally, as fans eagerly await more collaborations and solo projects from these talented artists, one thing is clear. The ladies have firmly established their presence and are ready to take the hip-hop world by storm. Who do you think had the best bars? Let us know on HNHH!
Since the 1950s, fashion designers like La Perla, Frederick’s of Hollywood, and Agent Provocateur have made alluring undergarments that helped women express their sensuality. Fast forward to today, lines like Victoria’s Secret continue this mission, but until recent years, options were still limited for anyone who wasn’t a size 0-12.
It wasn’t until Barbadian singer Rihanna founded her Savage X Fenty line did we start to see sizes and styles for not only all body types but also styles for the gender-neutral and even disabled. Because of the diversity of the line, other lingerie houses have followed the advancement. Further, Rihanna has signed on some of Hip Hop’s sexiest and most voluptuous rappers to influence the classy yet risque brand. Here are 7 of Hip Hop’s hottest rappers who are now Savage x Fenty Ambassadors.
Latto
Latto secured her Savage X Fenty deal in 2020. In August 2023, she posted a pic of herself in a bustier with matching undies. The post caught the attention of Paris Hilton and Rakim, who both commented, and the latter left fire emojis. Subsequently, on Oct. 30, her naughty-in-pink post accumulated over 800,000 likes, including likes from industry peers SZA, Sexyy Red, and Flo Milli.
The original Savage helped launch the brand’s TikTok account in 2020 with the #SavageChallenge. Megan modeled some of the brand’s signature pieces while dancing along to her hit song of the same name. The challenge has since gone viral, with the hashtag receiving nearly 800 million views. She also modeled two looks from the brand’s holiday collection that year, where she was adorned with Christmas ornaments and pearls.
In Oct. 2020, Rico Nasty became an ambassador for Savage x Fenty. The D.C. native is known to constantly reinvent herself between her planets of femme trap and punk rap. And more than any other Savage x Fenty ambassador, she personifies RiRi’s mission to make sure everyone has a chance to display their confidence.
Rico brought everyone out of their comfort zones in her photo shoot by rocking her signature Liberty Spike hair. She has expressed her gratitude for Rihanna selecting her, posting on her IG, “I really don’t have a way to put words to all of my emotions rn. Because I’ve never felt like the ‘sexiest’ girl or even had the confidence to pretend. But since I’ve been a #savagexambassador I’m always trying on new stuff in the mirror. It really has helped me get comfortable with my body and realize … everyone is different somehow we all look good in @savagexfenty … free your inner savage…”
Lil Kim
Lil Kim busted the internet wide open when she announced her deal with Savage x Fenty. The Hardcore veteran wore a sexy pink ensemble on Valentine’s Day 2022 that set everyone’s heart a flutter. The love for Kim and the collaboration poured through from fans and friends like Marc Jacobs and Lil Cease, flooding her feed with heart and fire emojis.
Once Rihanna expanded her Savage x Fenty line to include a men’s collection, the line debuted with Bad Boy heir Christian “King” Combs as a spokesmodel. Rewind to years earlier, Combs met a 19-year-old Rihanna at his dad Diddy’s New Year’s Eve party. Although he was only 11 years old then, the two became friends. And when it was time to launch her brand, RiRi hand-picked him to help create an 11-piece collection that included versatile styles that everyone can wear. The “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” rapper, also approved of the wide band with the Savage x Fenty logo around the waist, calling the design “the new Calvin Klein for my generation.”
In June 2021, Chicago rapper Dreezy posted pics from her Savage X Fenty photo shoot. She called herself “sweet honey” as she posed in an orange and white plaid two-piece, which received likes from Sevyn Streeter. In 2020, the rapper (born Seandrea Sledge) wore a sweet and sexy pink two-piece ensemble. She used #SavageSundays to tag her post, and it also received likes from many, including SZA.
Detroit rapper-actress Kash Doll is no stranger to being unapologetically thick and sexy. In a December 2020 post for Savage x Fenty, she posed in a red body stocking. “Merry KASHmas #TisTheSavage,” she posted. Further, “Thick thighs save lives @savagexfenty#savagexambassador,” is another of her famous post captions. The BMF star definitely has a sick posting game on social media.
Latto recently spoke out about the rivalry and competition between artists, specifically highlighting the role of fans in fueling these tensions. In a recent interview, the “Big Energy” rapper addressed the influence of “stan culture” and how fans’ comparisons often lead to divisions within the music industry.
‘They Will Turn Us Against Each Other’
In a recent interview with XXL Magazine, Latto’s statements on fans and their influence in triggering artist competition have garnered attention and ignited discussions:
The rapper emphasized:
“I think it really don’t be a problem until we let fans, Stans, whatever you want to call them, like the outsiders once they get in the mix. I think that’s what stirs the pot. Because it’s like, we will all be fans of each other and commenting and following each other, whatever, but then once they get to comparing, they will turn us against each other, which is very weak-minded of us as female rappers. I will take that accountability. I don’t think truly, at heart, it’s us. Once people are infiltrating your mind and got you thinking this, and now you feel this type of way without even addressing the person, now you addressing fans. I think we be falling for these traps that they put on female rappers.”
Social media users have ignited discussion, where one user named @SassyandGeeky wrote, “She is absolutely correct. Outsiders be over exaggerating the situation just so that they could entertain their lonely miserable insufferable lives. If it the situation resolved itself quickly, they b*tch and complain about it.” Another user named @therealpayonce wrote, “I agree that they’re all weak minded bc random stan accounts and bots making you dislike someone you already liked is bottom of the barrel behavior.”
Snoop Warns Latto About Female Rap Beef
The Atlanta rapper also had a similar conversation with Snoop Dogg in Rolling Stone Magazine, where they discussed the state of female rap.
The hip-hop legend advised Latto to avoid rap beef with other artists and stressed the importance of unity in the genre. They both acknowledged the surge of prominence in female rap and emphasized the need for female artists to support and uplift each other.
Stan Culture
Now, the focal point of this discussion is stans. Stans are notoriously known for defending their favorite artists and fueling rivalries, where some of the most cutthroat fanbases today include Nicki Minaj’s “Barbz,” Beyoncé’s “Beyhive,” and Taylor Swift’s “Swifties.”
The Beyhive and Swifties, in particular, began comparing the chart-topping artists to each other as they embarked on recent tours and concert film releases such as the Renaissance World Tour and The Eras Tour.
As both fanbases realized the similarities in their success, many fans continued to tear each other’s “faves” down; they constantly compared Queen Bey and Taylor Swift competitively.
Instead of the two influential figures feeding into the fanbase-made competition, Beyoncé was spotted at Taylor Swift’s premiere for The Eras Tour film. Swift recanted her support from Beyoncé and how much she loved and appreciated her.
Trina Talks Female Rap
The importance of unity among female artists has been a recurring topic of discussion, with Trina also emphasizing its significance. The Miami native, known for promoting female unity in music, has repeatedly advocated for artists to set aside drama and support one another.
