KSI is not anybody’s favorite rapper. An entertaining streamer and YouTuber? Sure. A lyricist? Absolutely not. KSI has been trying to launch a music career for years. His new single, however, “Thick of It,” might be his worst release yet. He has ruthlessly clowned by fans and influencers alike for his Ed Sheeran-like bars and awkward delivery. The other common talking point among fans is theories as to how KSI got a guest verse from a real rapper like Trippie Redd. Well, Redd decided to weigh in on October 7, but it did not make KSI look any better.

Trippie Redd decided to pile on KSI and the song. He posted the song with a caption claiming that he was kidnapped and forced to spit a verse. “I was held hostage to do this,” he stated. Redd doubled down on the absurd claim by telling fans that he was still being held captive by KSI, and only they can help him get free. “If this doesn’t hit 20 million the first month,” he said. “KSI won’t let me go. Please free me.” Trippie Redd has never taken himself too seriously, though. There wasn’t many other ways to promote a song that has been universally clowned. Drake has even given his two cents on “Thick of It.”

Trippie Redd Wants The Song To Get 20 Million Views

Drake, who previously worked with Trippie Redd on the song “Betrayal,” fired shots in the comment section of an Adin Ross stream. He jokingly told Ross to stop playing whatever he had on and thrown KSI’s new single on instead. “Play KSI new banger for the max,” the 6 God wrote. Trippie Redd knows most of the hate is being directed at KSI, in particular. That said, the rapper has struggled to catch a break, in terms of positive feedback on his recent output.

Trippie Redd teamed up with Machine Gun Kelly for the collab EP Genre: Sadboy in March. Nobody seemed to like it. Many called it out for having sloppy music and so-so lyricism. Fans didn’t love Redd’s previous solo release, A Love Letter to You 5, either. Fans absolutely hated the 2023 album. Many pointing out that Trippie Redd’s music is sounding increasingly stale and made for the lowest common denominator. Hopefully the KSI debacle is a wake up call.

No, KSI and Jake Paul have not boxed each other before. You’d be forgiven for making that mistake, though. KSI boxed Jake’s older brother, Logan, in a highly-publicized 2018 match. Jake Paul was on the undercard, and he actually fought KSI’s younger brother, Deji. KSI vs Jake Paul is a concept that’s been floated for several years, however, with both sides voicing a desire to make it happen. It just never has. Both men have been busy with their own careers. Jake Paul is gearing up to fight Mike Tyson, so we get why KSI is not high on his priority list. Well, at least he wasn’t.

When KSI isn’t streaming or boxing, he’s recording music. He just dropped a new song with Trippie Redd titled “Thick of It,” and despite the famous feature, it has not performed well. The internet has lit up KSI’s latest offering. It’s easy to see why. “Thick of It” lacks any real song structure, and consensus is that KSI raps about as convincingly as Ed Sheeran (not a compliment). Jake Paul couldn’t resist getting in on the roast session. KSI Didn’t Take Kindly To Jake Paul’s Trolling

Not the most original insult, but an effective one. KSI did not waste any time firing back at Jake Paul and issuing a challenge to him. “Looks like you’ve got your next opponent lined up then,” he tweeted back in response. KSI vs Jake Paul is something that fans have mostly given up on. It’s been teased for so long that there’s actually a Wikipedia article dedicated to their “proposed” bout. Both men know that it would net them massive paydays, though, so perhaps the wheels are already in motion.

It’s worth noting that KSI discussed the idea of fighting Jake Paul recently. He appeared on the Logan Paul podcast Impaulsive, and made it clear he still wants to throw hands. The younger Paul has focused on fighting the aforementioned Tyson, but Logan proposed a solution. He told KSI that both men should attend his wedding and settle it once and for all at the ceremony. “I’ll invite you, I’ll invite Jake and we’ll just settle it bro, I’ll be okay with that.” We’ll see if the fight actually comes to fruition soon!

Logan Paul Sues Ryan Garcia For Defamation Following His Second Positive PED Drug Test

Ryan Garcia’s B-sample, drawn for his fight against Devin Haney, apparently tested positive for the illicit substance ostarine on Thursday. The testing was conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA). Tests took place both before and after Garcia defeated Haney on April 20 by a majority decision. Garcia may be subject to fines, suspension, or even having the result of the bout ruled invalid. Now, Logan Paul has reportedly sued the boxer over the positive test results, citing defamation.

Logan Paul recently vented his anger on social media, saying that he feels his drink company is “under attack” by false narratives spreading on the internet and that he has to take action, with Ryan at the top of his list. In the complaint, Prime details Garcia’s claimed misconduct by citing his social media tirades about the drink’s detrimental side effects, including how it will “hurt you big time,” “mess up your guys’s (sic) liver,” and “kill your guys’s (sic) brains,” without providing evidence to back up the accusations. “Today we begin to hold those accountable who’ve damaged our brand for attention while we correct the narrative,” Paul said on Instagram. “We’re here to stay and will continue to change the world of hydration with bold flavors and creative innovation.”

Ryan Garcia is being sued by Logan Paul and Prime. The lawsuit is positioned on the grounds of unjust enrichment, unfair competition, trade libel, and defamation. Additionally, the complaint details Garcia’s claims that Prime includes “ostarine,” a prohibited chemical for which he tested positive during his fight with Devin Haney. Prime is an official sponsor of Devin Haney. Garcia’s remarks, according to Prime, are hurting the company’s sales by implying that it is associated with the devil. Additionally, Garcia is said to have claimed that the company’s workers have “burned” and “assaulted” children. According to the lawsuit, Garcia is aware of the falsity of his assertions. Yet he is still making these ridiculous claims to further his own brand, which is built on creating drama.

Garcia has not yet responded to the case, but we anticipate one shortly. What was a monumental moment in his career, his win against Devin Haney now might be his lowest point. KSI Labels Jake Paul-Mike Tyson Fight As “Sad”

KSI has taken aim at the recently announced fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. “50+ years old. No one wanted this…So sad to see man…,” KSI wrote in response to the announcement. The fight was revealed by Netflix, who will broadcast the fight, and will take place in Dallas in June. Furthermore, the fight, which will likely be fought as an exhibition match, comes in the midst of Paul taking his boxing career more seriously. The last time that Tyson fought was an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr in November 2020.

“Mike Tyson is one of the biggest icons in boxing history and Jake Paul is one of the biggest disruptors in boxing history. Saturday, July 20 will be pure drama in the ring in Texas. August is 35 years old and has a 10-1-1 career record. That makes him the most experienced fighter Paul has faced in his career so far. Paul suffered the first loss of his career when he faced his first experienced opponent, Tommy Fury, earlier this year.

Jake Paul Puts Kid Cudi On Blast

However, KSI isn’t the only person that Paul potentially has beef with. Earlier this month, Paul took aim at his fellow Clevelander – Kid Cudi. Paul claimed that he had reached out to Cudi about performing at his 2021 fight against Tyron Woodley. However, Cudi’s fee was just too much for Paul to afford. “I tried to get him to perform at the Tyron Woodley fight just before I came out and he asked for like, an astronomical fee that was like, ‘F-ck you.’ I get it, but it’s like, this was like some sh-t to tap in back with the city. Like, first event back from Covid,” Paul explained.

Furthermore, Cudi later responded. “As far as Jake Paul, listen chief, Im an artist. A real one. I make art for a living. Im not some guy that comes out to perform at boxing matches. I entertained it tho cuz it was u, and tho it went against what I stand for I submitted a fee. My fee is my fee. Especially for some sh-t thats not my style. If im gonna do it its gonna be worth it for my pockets and time. This is business baby. Im not these other rappin a– n-ggas that will show up for a lil check. Logan Paul & KSI Announce 1 Billion Bottles Of PRIME Sold

PRIME, the energy drink owned by Logan Paul and KSI, has reportedly sold 1 billion units. “We’ve officially sold 1,000,000,000 bottles — a hydration milestone we couldn’t have reached without you. Thank you for making PRIME the fastest growing beverage in history,” the drink’s official account wrote on social media. The milestone was reached in just 22 months, after Paul and KSI launched the brand in January 2022. While popular, it has been panned by many critics for it’s foul taste. Gordon Ramsay gave the drink a 0/10 rating after it comparing it to “swallowing perfume”.

“What is life” Paul wrote on his own account, seemingly stunned at his own brand’s successful. However, PRIME has become a major part of all of Paul’s endeavors. During one of this WWE events, he participated in a skit that saw KSI dress up like a giant bottle of PRIME. Meanwhile, their recent joint boxing card was officially dubbed “The PRIME Card” by broadcaster DAZN. If Logan Paul or KSI is involved in something, it’s a fair bet that PRIME is involved as well.

Not The Easiest Road For PRIME

However, things have been pretty tough for the brand. Back in July, PRIME was the subject of a Canadian recall before the drink was even available in the country. Health Canada added PRIME Energy to a list of recalled beverages, citing the drink’s high caffeine content. Paul attributed the recall to “Illegal or unauthorized imports.” The YouTubers also stated that their plans to eventually release a version of PRIME that is compliant with Canadian regulations.

However, it’s not the only controversy surrounding the brand. Senator Chuck Schumer called the drink a “serious health concern” after it was reported that a 12oz can in the United States contains 200mg of caffeine. Furthermore, in May, a child in the United Kingdom suffered cardiac arrest after consuming a can of PRIME. The UK variant of the drink contains 140mg of caffeine. Regardless, the drink has proven incredibly popular with both men’s young audiences while also landing major sponsorship deals such as the UFC.

iShowSpeed Gives Out KSI’s Actual Phone Number During Live Show

Recently, streamer iShowSpeed did a live performance at London’s Indigo, 02 Arena over the weekend. During the performance he apparently tried to give his friend and business collaborator KSI a facetime call. The streamer sat in front of a packed audience waiting for the call to go through, but it ultimately never did. “He never answer’s up the f*cking phone bro. He never picks up the f*cking phone man,” Speed says when there’s no answer to his call.

The crowd lets out some boos and even chant about KSI which seems to play into what iShowSpeed does next. “Leak his number? Alright, bet. I’m leaking his number. I’m leaking his number since he don’t want to answer, f*ck that,” he says. Shortly after, he puts his fellow content creators phone number on the screen for everyone in the arena to see. “Ayo this is KSI number, call KSI right now bro. iShowSpeed Giving KSI’s Number To An Entire Arena

Last month, iShowSpeed was finally unbanned from Twitch. Despite his prior trouble with the platform it didn’t take him long to get right back to stirring up controversy. He did a controversial stream in India where he drew plenty of negative attention for asking people to dance to the viral “Tunak Tunak Tun” meme song.

Just a few days before he was allowed back on Twitch, iShowSpeed had a close encounter with danger during another stream. He chose to do a viral science experiment live on stream, but chose to do it inside when it’s normally performed outdoors. That caused fans to be concerned as his room quickly filled up with smoke. The stunt resulted in firefighters being called to his house where they reportedly had to give him oxygen. The joke is based on the fact that KSI already has a fairly pronounced forehead.

The pair have been feuding on and off for a couple years now. Paul has labeled KSI a copycat in recent weeks, suggesting he only fought Tommy Fury because Paul did so first. Furthermore, KSI is considered a potential opponent for Paul after the latter announced that he was preparing to fight an unnamed fighter on December 15. Another possible contender is Tommy Fury. However, Nate Diaz has come out and is very eager to rematch Paul.

Jake Paul Announces December Fight, Could KSI Be Next?

While Jake Paul has confirmed that he is fighting on December 15, his opponent remains a mystery. KSI & Tommy Fury Fight Labeled A “Disgrace To Boxing”

MMA legend Jorge Mavidal blasted the boxing match between KSI and Tommy Fury as a “disgrace to boxing”. The fight was the marquee bout of the Prime Card, which also featured Logan Paul fighting Dillon Danis. However, fans were left disappointed as Fury put little effort into his majority decision win. KSI was overmatched and completely gassed by the end of the fight. This led to extended periods of clinching and grappling, typically instigated by the YouTuber. This led many disgruntled fans and reporters to state that the fight was closer to wrestling than boxing.

KSI has come into the fight with a major chip on his shoulder, as well as claims that Fury wasn’t taking the fight seriously. I’m gonna go back to living my life but felt good to beat his ass for 6 rounds and let him embarrass himself. Drink prime,” Paul wrote on social media an hour or so after the fight.

Furthermore, Paul, who chose to speak with the media after the fight, had nothing positive to say about Danis. “Dillon Danis truly is a coward. I forgave Dillon before this fight started. It was the only way to attack this fight without emotion. But he was calling himself a real fighter? Conor McGregor, you see that?” Paul said. Furthermore, he quickly turned his attention back to his current day job – fighting in the WWE. “This is a hobby for me. My true passion, I’m a WWE superstar. I’m an American boy, and I want that U.S. title. Rey Mysterio, I already beat you once and I’m coming for that U.S. championship.”
