As the eldest of the Kardashian-West kids, 9-year-old North is who we’ve gotten to know the best of her four siblings so far. Much like her famous father, Kanye West, the young girl is a Gemini. This explains her bold personality and creative nature. She’s done a great job so far at showing off her personality on TikTok. Over the weekend, we got to see even more of it as she walked the red carpet with her mom at The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday (April 23).
The socialite markedly put her perfectly toned body on display in an ombre grey skirt and matching bandeau top. Elsewhere, her daughter was fully covered in an all-black ensemble. The duo obviously both sported stunning hairstyles for the occasion, Kardashian’s shiny raven-coloured locks sitting at chest length. West, for her part, rocked a stylish high ponytail with her adorable outfit. It came complete with side-swept bangs to expertly frame her face. Aside from turning heads with their looks, North is also cracking the internet up thanks to the attitude she gave while posing for photos last night.
Many were quick to compare her to Kanye. Others suggested that her parents should spoil her less to prevent such dramatic antics. Regardless of what haters have to say, it’s more clear than ever that North has secured a spot as Hollywood’s next “it girl” once she’s a bit older. All eyes were on the mother-daughter duo. However, as DailyMail reports, they actually stepped out in support of a close friend of their own – Chris Appleton.
Kardashian’s long-time friend and collaborator was honoured with the Hair Artist of the Year award. It was presented to him by his glamorous dates for the evening. Ice Spice’s star continues to rise every day. The rapper’s music was already gaining quite a bit of traction, but now she’s everywhere. A little over a week ago, the Ice released a remix of her song “Princess Diana,” featuring none other than Nicki Minaj. The two had already been exchanging support in the form of social media mentions and likes. There were rumors that Nicki had signed Ice to her record label, Heavy On It. This, of course, led to rumors that the two would be collaborating. It turned out those rumors were true, and fans have been showing an insane amount of love for the pair ever since. To some, it might seem like Ice Spice exploded overnight. For that, she has social media platforms like TikTok to thank.
Ice Spice found fame through social media for songs like “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2.” Both songs are quite recent, but they have been everywhere since their release. The latter even landed her in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100. In an interview for her cover story on Paper Magazine, the Bronx rapper spoke about her sudden fame after the release of “Munch (Feelin’ U).” “So real shortly after that, that’s when I started to realize my fame was picking up and people was constantly coming up to me,” she told the magazine. “At some point, any time you step out the car, instantly people know you, instantly screaming your name.”
Ice Spice was just posted on Kim Kardashian’s instagram account as part of a new campaign for the reality star’s shapewear brand, SKIMS. “Everybody’s wearing SKIMS,” Kim said in the caption of her post. “The next generation of our viral shapewear launches on Thursday April 27, worn by a new generation of musical stars: @icespice, @pinkpantheress, raye and @nessabarrett.” It would appear we have even more to look forward to from the campaign.
Over the last few months, everyone has been co-signing the up and coming rapper. She has appeared in several large campaigns, modeling for brands like Heaven by Marc Jacobs. The brand has also featured huge names like Nicki Minaj, Bella Hadid, and Pamela Anderson. Even people who she probably doesn’t want support from, like Donald Trump, have been supporting her. They apparently only stayed for a brief moment before making their exit in Ye’s SUV. Kardashian, on the other hand, showed up in some cool athleisure and stuck around for the entire game. Photographers captured plenty of photos and videos of the mother of four as she left the building. Kim mostly stayed quiet as the cameras flashed at her and her daughter. Ever the jokester, the 9-year-old made a quip about the obnoxious lights as she and her friends hopped into a car waiting for them.

One of the most recent dramas is the whiplash-inducing 2023 Met Gala invite scandal. The entire family was declared “banned” by Page Six. The outlet reversed its claim just days later and said Kim was in. But can the Kardashian-Jenners, a family whose very foundation is pop culture, indeed be “canceled”? Their ability to bounce back from controversies is admirable. Even more, maintaining a stronghold of public attention is a testament to their resilience and adaptability. As they pivot their brands to accommodate changing societal values, they still possess the potential to remain relevant.
Take Kim’s foray into criminal justice reform, for example. Her efforts to free Alice Marie Johnson from a life sentence are impressive. Also, her pursuit of a law degree is a new side of the reality star we haven’t seen. Similarly, Kendall’s recent activism, including her support for the Black Lives Matter movement, seems legit to some. Yet, to others, it’s just more family finessing.

However, with a family routinely caught out for stealing ideas, lying, arguing, and outright faking drama for PR, who knows? Kardashian-Jenners must maintain this momentum and show genuine growth and accountability if they want to reclaim trust. Their controversies extend beyond those mentioned above. Remember Rob Kardashian’s up-and-down relationship with Blac Chyna? Even worse, their reality show Rob & Chyna and their public and messy breakup.
Further, Kylie Jenner initially denied using lip fillers, fueling rumors and criticism on social media. She eventually admitted to having lip fillers, but the incident raised questions about the family’s honesty and transparency. Additionally, Kendall and Kylie faced backlash for their “vintage” T-shirt line. The two youngest of the clan superimposed their images over iconic musicians, including Tupac, Biggie, and Pink Floyd. The outrage was fast and real. The entire line was pulled, and the sisters quickly apologized, but the damage to their reputation was already done.

Critics say the Kardashian-Jenners’ involvement in multiple controversies is their own doing. They add that their struggle to keep up with the changing times has been insincere. Social media echos this feeling and has led to an increased number of people calling for their “cancelation.” While it’s true that they still have a large fan base and continue to make headlines, many say it’s too little too late. They need to adapt more genuinely to the ever-changing landscape of pop culture and social awareness.

Of course, the main character of the film is played by none other than Uma Thurman. Overall, this is an iconic role that people still gush about. Additionally, she had a pretty exceptional wardrobe in that movie. Simply put, it should come as no surprise that Kim would want to recreate it.
In the images up above, you can see that Kim is wearing a zip-up leather jacket. Firstly, the main color here is black. Secondly, the sleeves and shoulders have a black strip going all the way down. When you put these elements together, you get an amazing recreation of what Thurman wore on the posters to the film. Of course, she also wore that outfit in various iconic scenes that are quite bloody, gruesome, and ironically beautiful. Subsequently, Kim Kardashian showed off some caps from the movie, just in case some didn’t get the reference. However, if you don’t know this is Kill Bill, you are simply too young to be on social media.
While Kim won’t be in any Tarantino movies anytime soon, she will be doing some acting. It was recently announced that the entrepreneur will be on the latest season of American Horror Story. Popular among viewers around the world, each season of this anthology series showcases a rotating ensemble of stellar actors such as Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, and Angela Bassett. And now, the incomparable Kim Kardashian is joining in on the fun – making a special appearance in the highly anticipated twelfth season, entitled Delicate, due to arrive this summer. 10. Season 9 AHS: 1984
American Horror Story: 1984 endured the lack of long-term cast members, the weakest array to date. Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts valiantly tried to fill the gap, yet without Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, it was too much. The season, a parody of the Friday The Thirteenth set in a summer camp, mimicked tropes of 1980s slasher flicks. Certain elements were successful, but the idiosyncratic tone of AHS showed in the montage scene with its spandex, it felt like American Horror Story rather than an 80s homage.
9. Season 5 AHS: Hotel
The most desirable season is widely known as one of its worst. Hotel sounded incredibly promising at the beginning: a mysterious hotel in Hollywood, with Lady Gaga in her first major acting debut, and vampires and murderers? It had all the expectations of a stellar season. Despite a magnificent performance from The Countess played by Gaga and an eye-catching aesthetic, the rest of it was mediocre or worse. It felt like a bizarre combination of a slasher flick with a romantic thriller that never quite achieved what it set out to do or produced any lasting shock. Further, the departure of the show’s beloved Jessica Lange certainly did not help.
8. Season 8 AHS: Apocalypse
The parade of beautiful men Ryan Murphy has focused on previously was well-casted, yet Cody Fern as Michael Langdon was unconvincing. He lacked the necessary sinister presence for a season dedicated to him. Though other seasons have refocused attention on more successful characters, American Horror Story: Apocalypse didn’t, staying solely tight-knit around this central performance. It eventually incorporates witches from AHS: Coven in the second half but fails to explore more Satanic motifs. The highlight of the season is Jessica Lange’s return as Constance Langdon from Season 1, though it ultimately proves too short-lived to salvage the convoluted story arcs.
7. Season 7 AHS: Cult
American Horror Story has rarely sought to depict current times, with Cult being the sole exception. This season is an answer to the 2016 presidential election and the uproar that President Donald Trump stirred up in American politics. Two primary characters are showcased: Ally, brilliantly portrayed by Sarah Paulson, who breaks down from fear in response to Trump’s win, and Kai, superbly acted by Evan Peters, who is empowered by the president and finds a cult of killer clowns. Depending on one’s political opinion, this season might prove controversial – yet its power is undeniable.
6. Season 11 AHS: NYC
American Horror Story: NYC is a return to its roots. Taking a far cry from the original, it offers an experience far superior to many of their recent seasons. Billie Lourd’s remarkable performance reigns supreme, with the integration of real-life events handled delicately and discreetly. This season boasts a massive breadth, delivering new avenues for the story spread out widely and gracefully, avoiding any possibility of being stuck in redundant horror cycles. As well, Murphy has provided a much-needed representation of LGBTQ+ within the genre, something they have become renowned for.
5. Season 4 AHS: Freak Show
American Horror Story: Freak Show has a powerful conclusion that doesn’t make up for its somewhat anticlimactic plot. What begins as a captivating beginning quickly evolves into a drama more than a fright fest. The untimely demise of Meep in AHS: Freak Show is indicative of this. The season is essentially an extended remake of the renowned film The Freaks, which itself is featured in the show. Lange revives her past brilliance with a great performance, while Evan Peters as Jimmy Darling captures our hearts with his adorable mannerisms. This season is more sorrowful than scary, exhibiting the evil that lies within the depths of human nature – and oh yeah, semi-terrifying clowns.
4. Season 1 AHS: Murder House
The original American Horror Story is close to faultless and has its purest iteration. Every character is deeply drawn, with a tragic tone that reaches its peak by the end. Rather than being overly structured, it allows events to unravel slowly and carefully, creating an intensity so strong one can almost feel it. Eventually revealed as a portal to Hell in AHS: Apocalypse, Tate remains at the core of the sinister Murder House. Jessica Lange’s remarkable performance is what ultimately led to the show’s second season and lasting legacy.
3. Season 10 AHS: Double Feature
Double Feature has it all – twice. Two locations, two stories with shockers, and double the dread. This season will bring you Red Tide and Death Valley – one at the seashore, the other on land. The interesting thing is how the topics and moods in each interconnect.
Red Tide stars a struggling scribe and his family as they arrive at a seaside village for wintertime. There, the inhabitants show their true horrific side. It reads like something out of Stephen King’s work. In Death Valley, a college gang goes camping only for them to be embroiled in an epic conspiracy that surpasses their imaginations. Both tales depict people taking a chance, only for them to regret it. Taking that plunge put Double Feature firmly in the success column of American Horror Story Seasons.
2. Season 3 AHS: Coven
Often favored by viewers, American Horror Story: Coven leaves much to be admired, particularly for its bold and assertive performances. The season features an excellent cast with talented additions Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates joining Paulson’s Fiona and Lange’s Cordelia. Unfortunately, the conclusion, though abrupt, fails to do justice to its characters. The season also marks a noteworthy performance from the late Leslie Jordan.
1. Season 2 AHS: Asylum
Asylum marked the first attempt of American Horror Story to use an anthology approach. After the resounding success of Murder House, the show moved on to a new tale entirely in Season 2. It surpassed expectations, set in the 1960s and centering around Briarcliff Manor, a mental asylum presided over by those who preferred to hide their atrocities instead of helping the afflicted. The narrative begins as a reporter is unjustly institutionalized for being a lesbian and then becomes witness to the macabre terror that exists within those walls. Jessica Lange gave one of her most memorable performances in AHS. The plot was so ambitious it has yet to be rivaled.
Kim Kardashian is certainly enjoying her trip to Japan. The starlet has been all over social media sharing photos of her family getaway to the Asian country. Indeed, Kim has been showing off the numerous sites the family has visited. Additionally, the 42-year-old has also been flaunting her numerous wardrobe changes. However, the Kardashian-West clan recently shared one of the more memorable moments of their trip. Kim and the kids were able to hang out with a renowned Japanese artist.
Kardashian recently took to Instagram to share photos of her family’s meeting with designer Takashi Murakami. Kim went on to credit daughter North for making the trip happen. Apparently, North is a big fan of Murakami and didn’t want to leave the country without meeting him. Kim captioned the photos with “All North wanted was to meet @takashipom on our trip to Japan!” The family was clearly appreciative of the experience. “Thank you Murakami for opening up your creative bubble for us and bringing some of your magic to the kids.” she said.
The family clearly enjoyed themselves. However, Kim did indicate that the kids may not have been getting along the entire time. “It would have been nice if they weren’t fighting LOL.” Subsequently, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was able to see the bright side. “We got a decent picture but hey?!” she concluded. Having the ability to meet Murakami is certainly something special. The Japanese designer has distinguished himself as a giant in the art world. Additionally, Murakami also has a connection to hip-hop. His artwork has become renowned among both fans and artists. The artist has spoken about an unrealized anime project with the late rapper Juice Wrld. Additionally, he was linked up multiple times with Drake and his OVO Brand.
Moreover, the designer also has a connection to Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West. The pair have linked up multiple times over the years. Perhaps their most famous collab was on Kanye and Kid Cudi’sKids See Ghosts project. Apparently, Kanye had handed down his respect for Murakami to his children. The Japanese artist is sure to inspire many more generations going forward.
Today, Kim posted a video to her 352 million followers on Instagram, revealing she will be joining the next season of American Horror Story on FX. The brief trailer showed Kim Kardashian’s name alongside actress and TikTok star Emma Roberts, who also boasts a huge online presence, including 19.7 million followers on Instagram.
The teaser included a creepy version of “Rock-a-bye, Baby,” at the end revealing a voice that whispers, “Emma and Kim are delicate.”
While Kim has most famously been known for her role on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which recently celebrated its 20th season, now, it looks like she’s diving head first into scripted television.
Ryan Murphy, writer and director of American Horror Story, states, “Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family. Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
Halley Fieffer has been appointed the sole showrunner for this chapter of AHS. Allegedly, Murphy was impressed by Kim’s exciting hosting gig on Saturday Night Live back in 2021 and reached out last summer to have her join AHS.
