Wendy Williams Ex-Husband Kevin Hunter Looking Confident Before $112K Court Battle

Kevin Hunter, ex-husband of Wendy Williams, is ready for his day in court. Williams was recently diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, resulting in a guardian being appointed to take over her legal duties. Things keep getting more complicated for Hunter and Williams as more news keeps coming out. The beloved former talk show host’s guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, had requested that Hunter return money that he was overpaid with during his and Williams’s divorce. Morrissey alleged that up until October 2021, Hunter was paid by The Wendy Williams Show and was still receiving his monthly salary three months later. Williams’s guardian claims this violated the couple’s divorce agreement.

Kevin Hunter had petitioned the court last month before the current court battle. He claimed he stopped receiving the agreed-upon severance pay of their divorce settlement. This prompted Wiliams’s Guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, to step in, and now we have a court battle. Kevin Hunter is appearing confident despite the legal battle. He posed for pictures and made comments before his court date.

Kevin Hunter posted three pictures of himself in a bluish-gray suit and shades on social media, showing he is ready for a legal face-off. He posted the pictures with the caption, “SHOWTIME..one of MANY to come” Hunter has expressed his desire for the judge who presided over his and Wendy Williams’s divorce to help him out. It’s another messy development in what is a sad story in the end. The drama doesn’t seem to stop even as Williams has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia.

The accusations directly conflict with Hunter’s claims about his severance pay. He claims he has stopped receiving the agreed-upon payments since 2022. He hopes to receive 23 months of back pay for the missing funds. The response from Wendy Williams’s guardianship alleges that he was, in fact, getting paid more than was agreed. The court battle will surely be a messy one. Whatever the case, it’s a sad situation. Ultimately, we will get to the bottom of the situation as the court case develops.

Kevin Hunter, whose divorce from Williams was finalized in 2020, took to Instagram earlier this week to respond to some of the backlash he’s been receiving since the doc came out. He fired back at critics with full force. Hunter even dragged the beloved former talk show host’s friend Angela White, FKA Blac Chyna, into the mix.

“All of you miserable humans and women on my page are gonna be very mad, but for the smart people… Who understand the plight of: I’m not trying to play victim. Again, I take full accountability [and] a lot of you still don’t know what’s going on, and you still won’t know what’s going on,” he explained.

Half of them were involved in enabling her,” he said. “So, Blac Chyna, you need to go sit down before I air you out and let people know what you really did.” While it remains unclear exactly what Hunter seemingly plans to expose White for, social media users aren’t here for it. Countless commenters are accusing him of taking advantage of his ex, whose dementia and aphasia diagnoses recently became public. Some also suspect he’s just using the documentary debacle for clout.

Wendy Williams’ Ex Kevin Hunter Was “Overpaid” $112K In Divorce, Her Guardian Alleges

There’s been no shortage of drama in the world of Wendy Williams as of late. Unfortunately, however, things only appear to be getting more complicated. In new legal documents obtained by Page Six earlier this week, the beloved former talk show host’s guardian Sabrina Morrissey requests that her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, return the money that he was allegedly overpaid. In her filing, Morrissey notes that Hunter received payments from The Wendy Williams Show up until October of 2021. Three months later, however, he was admittedly still being paid monthly.

“I believe this was largely the result of the fact that the payments had been put on an ‘autopay’ function within her account,” Morrissey explains in the court docs. She also claims that this violates the two exes’ settlement agreement. The agreement reportedly states that if Wendy’s income drops below twice what it was as of February 1, 2020, Hunter’s payments would stop. “By holding on to the funds he was overpaid, he has interfered with [Williams’] right of possessions to those funds,” the docs read. Reportedly, Hunter now owes Wendy upwards of $112K.

These theories were only compounded following the public reveal of Wendy’s dementia and aphasia diagnoses. Producers maintain that they had no knowledge of this while filming the doc.

Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband Kevin Hunter Wants 2 Years Of Back Payments From Divorce Settlement

Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, says he hasn’t received payments from his divorce settlement since the talk show host was placed under court-order guardianship. In turn, he is requesting two years of back pay, according to court documents obtained by Radar Online.

“I have not received my severance payments since January of 2022, which Plaintiff is required to make pursuant to the Matrimonial Settlement Agreement,” he said. “This is an emergent matter because I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly.” He added: “Therefore, I respectfully request that the Court require [Wendy] to immediately pay all severance payments which may be due and owing at the time of this Court’s Order.”

Hunter also says he’s been trying to resolve the matter for years at this point. “Since October 2021 I have tried to resolve this issue in multiple ways including previous motion and mediation, with no cooperation from the Plaintiff,” he said. “As a result, I had no choice but to file this motion in this matter. I would not have had to file this motion if the Plaintiff did not stop my severance payments and if the Plaintiff would have signed the Qualified Domestic Relations Order for the SAG-AFTRA Retirement Plan.”

Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband Vows To Sue Tasha K: ‘I Am A Straight Alpha Male’

Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter recently threatened to sue gossip vlogger Tasha K after an old interview resurfaced of a man claiming to be Kevin’s lover. Now he’s coming out swinging, sending a legal team after Tasha K for rehashing an old story about his relationship with a former business associate.

WENDY Williams’ ex-husband Kevin Hunter said he is planning to file a defamation lawsuit after a singer accused him of being abusive during an alleged affair.

Wendy’s ex Kevin, 50, exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the allegations against him by Falstar, whose real name is Aveon Williams, are not only untrue but they’re also old.

Claims by Falstar of being in a sexually abusive relationship with Kevin appeared to have been repacked and re-circulated Friday by the blogger Tasha K, who interviewed the singer on her Unwine With Tasha K YouTube channel in 2019.

“I am preparing for a defamation lawsuit. Anybody that knows me, and this is no disrespect to LGBTQ community, they know where I’m at with it.”

Kevin went on to say “I am a straight alpha male.”

Wendy’s ex-husband said that when the interview with Falstar initially ran, he didn’t personally acknowledge it and that it came as he was in the middle of his divorce from Wendy.

“Everyone was trying to discredit my character at the time, and Falstar has since said he’s sorry.”

Kevin took aim at the blogger specifically and said: “I am preparing my legal team, because three years later, she wants to unearth something that is inaccurate because why, it’s a slow Friday?”

Wendy’s ex claimed that he was helping to develop Falstar as a singer and that the business relationship eventually soured.

Kevin alleged that as news broke that his mistress Sharina Hudson was having his love child and Wendy was in the process of divorcing him, he believed Falstar saw an opportunity and came up with this “cockamamie story.”

Another New Music Friday (April 14) is upon us, and though two of the biggest releases of the week came from female artists like Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat, we’ve got plenty of male entertainers to give flowers too as well today. Among them is NLE Choppa, whose follow-up to his 2019 project, Cottonwood, arrived on DSPs at midnight. On the original, 10-track effort, the Memphis native worked with just Blueface and Meek Mill, but this time around, his roster of collaborators has become considerably more impressive.

Of course, we’ve already heard Choppa work with 2Rare on their “DO IT AGAIN” single, and he came together with rap legend Lil Wayne on “AIN’T GONNA ANSWER” ahead of Cottonwood 2 as well. Aside from those, the release’s other singles include “MO UP FRONT,” “IN THE UK,” and “CHAMPIONS.” There was also “SLUT ME OUT,” which landed the 20-year-old in some hot water after dog walking Sukihana and Sexyy Red in the accompanying remix’s visual earlier this month.

As for previously unheard joint efforts, the 22-track album boasts “COLD GAME” with Rick Ross, “ON GOD” featuring Queen Naija,” and “DISABILITY CHECKS” alongside Polo G and G Herbo. Other noteworthy guests tapped by Choppa are Duke Deuce, Kevin Gates, Fivio Foreign, Lola Brooke, and Modesty. We also hear some impressive solo work from the rising star on his latest release, including titles like “ALL I KNOW,” “PRETTY BROWN,” and “THUG IT OUT.”

[WATCH] Wendy Williams Ex-Husband Loses Battle For Alimony

Following the fight of her life last year, former daytime talk show legend Wendy Williams was sued by her ex-husband Kevin Hunter who wanted more of his ex-wife’s money. Hunter filed a lawsuit demanding Wendy continue paying alimony despite her being unemployed and not in 100% control of her hard earned funds.

After obtaining new legal counsel to go after Wendy’s money, the judge just ruled in Wendy’s favor.

The Sun reports:

Wendy Williams’ divorce judge has shut down her ex Kevin Hunter’s demand for the host to continue making alimony payments.

According to court documents exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, the judge claimed Wendy’s financial guardian will not have to resume cutting his alimony checks.

The judge found that Kevin’s request was “not emergent” and ordered his “application to be dismissed without prejudice.”

The judge also denied Kevin’s request for attorney fees to be paid by Wendy.

Kevin’s fight for Wendy’s payments is not completely over, however.

The judge said while they don’t consider his demand for alimony payments an emergency, he can still take his case to mediation.

“The parties are to participate in binding arbitration,” the judge said.

“The issues surrounding the severance payments, and the QDRO [Qualified Domestic Relations Order] are disputed and therefore need to be mediated.”

Ashanti Is A “Beautiful Black Woman,” Kevin Hunter Says After “Weight Gain” Post

Ashanti’s figure has been the talk of the town this month, especially after she posted a bikini-clad thirst trap to keep the masses warm this winter. Most recently, it was Wendy Williams’ ex, Kevin Hunter, who had some things to say about the R&B vocalist and her bodacious body.

Over the weekend, the former television executive reposted a throwback photo of the Murder Inc. artist on his Story. In the obviously dated image, she wears a big smile on her face, huge gold hoops, a pink graphic tee, and skinny jeans. Seeing as she’s much younger in the photo, her shape looks noticeably different compared to now.

According to Hunter, this can only mean one thing – that she underwent plastic surgery. “Ion know… That’s alotta weight gain since 2007,” he wrote in his post. “No hate queen, but BODY DONE???”

Ashanti’s fans lashed out at the father of one with a quickness. “Job Kevin… Get a job,” one person wrote in @theshaderoom’s comments. “It’s been a lot of cheating since 2007 too, but what do I know,” someone else added, bringing light to the OG hater’s own flaws.

“As a man, why were you even worried about it?” yet another person pressed him. “If you expect someone from 2007 to look the same in 2022 I question your level of intelligence,” one last comment reads.

After getting wind of his critics’ thoughts, Hunter had more to say. “Look I think @ashanti is a BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN!” he began.

“I have posted a NUMBER of positive posts that no one ever runs with. In this day and time, it’s not uncommon for people to have surgery… My question was for my page. I’m not a blogger nor am I trying to be or disrespect her in any way.”

Hunter says he “salutes” Ashanti and her “natural assets.” He added, “[I] was merely posing a question,” before going on to praise “all her accomplishments.”

“Errbody CALM DOWN,” the 50-year-old ended his rant.
