Fans are obsessed with Young Thug’s apparent weight gain as he’s been appearing in court for his ongoing RICO trial. With Thug rocking an unreleased Sp5der jacket in the Fulton County courthouse on Monday, users on social media couldn’t help but take note of his physical appearance. When RapTV posted a picture of the rapper on Instagram, followers flocked to the comments section with jokes. 

“Him and Gunna switched bodies,” one fan remarked. Another similarly wrote: “Gunna took some type of science experiment deal to get that body switch.” Authorities also arrested Gunna in the YSL indictment; however, he took a plea deal and was released from prison in December 2022.

Thug’s trial resumed last week, after taking a brief delay to end 2023. Judge Ural Glanville postponed the court dates after the rapper’s co-defendant, Shannon Stillwell, was stabbed in jail. “Given the length of time that we will probably address that, it might be just more prudent to recess you,” Glanville said at the time. “An early recess. Young Thug has been going through a lot over the last year. Overall, it all stems from his YSL RICO case. Although the case has been moving extremely slow, it seems there may just be some relief coming down the pipeline. Today, jury selection is supposed to finally take place. After months, they finally found 50 potential jurors. Of course, the jury will be the make-or-break factor in this case. At the end of the day, they will be the ones who determine whether or not Thugger will come home.

That said, Thugger has been in court quite a bit throughout these proceedings. He has mostly had to remain quiet as his lawyers work to speed up the entire process. It has not been an easy process, and with other former suspects like Gunna going home free, there is a sense that Thug may be in trouble. However, his fans remain very hopeful. Meanwhile, a new picture of Young Thug in court has emerged online. Subsequently, fans are now noticing a change in the artist.

In a tweet, she declared her exhaustion with the topic. She also acknowledged her weight gain but emphasized her desire to move on from the discussion. “‘I know I got fat. I’m just so sick of people talking about it. NEXT!!!!!!’ she tweeted.

In another tweet, Bebe Rexha acknowledged that weight fluctuations are a natural part of life. She said that people should consider the various factors that can contribute to changes in one’s body, such as medication or health conditions. Her posts garnered a multitude of supportive responses from fans, who reassured Rexha of her beauty and talent. They expressed disappointment in the persistent habit of finding fault in others. Ashanti Is A “Beautiful Black Woman,” Kevin Hunter Says After “Weight Gain” Post

Ashanti’s figure has been the talk of the town this month, especially after she posted a bikini-clad thirst trap to keep the masses warm this winter. Most recently, it was Wendy Williams’ ex, Kevin Hunter, who had some things to say about the R&B vocalist and her bodacious body.

Over the weekend, the former television executive reposted a throwback photo of the Murder Inc. artist on his Story. In the obviously dated image, she wears a big smile on her face, huge gold hoops, a pink graphic tee, and skinny jeans. Seeing as she’s much younger in the photo, her shape looks noticeably different compared to now.

According to Hunter, this can only mean one thing – that she underwent plastic surgery. “Ion know… That’s alotta weight gain since 2007,” he wrote in his post. “No hate queen, but BODY DONE???”

Ashanti’s fans lashed out at the father of one with a quickness. “Job Kevin… Get a job,” one person wrote in @theshaderoom’s comments. “It’s been a lot of cheating since 2007 too, but what do I know,” someone else added, bringing light to the OG hater’s own flaws.

“As a man, why were you even worried about it?” yet another person pressed him. “If you expect someone from 2007 to look the same in 2022 I question your level of intelligence,” one last comment reads.

After getting wind of his critics’ thoughts, Hunter had more to say. “Look I think @ashanti is a BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN!” he began.

“I have posted a NUMBER of positive posts that no one ever runs with. In this day and time, it’s not uncommon for people to have surgery… My question was for my page. I’m not a blogger nor am I trying to be or disrespect her in any way.”

Hunter says he “salutes” Ashanti and her “natural assets.” He added, “[I] was merely posing a question,” before going on to praise “all her accomplishments.”

“Errbody CALM DOWN,” the 50-year-old ended his rant.
