Kanye West Threatens To Remove Jay-Z From “Donda” In Leaked Documentary Clip

The Donda rollout was undoubtedly a messy yet mesmerizing experience. From debuting two separate versions of the project at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium to its finale in Chicago, Kanye West created a spectacle out of the rollout. However, it didn’t go without its headaches and outbursts. A new documentary clip surfaced this morning that shows some of the behind-the-scenes antics surrounding the project as he rounded up an elite list of collaborators including Fivio Foreign, Playboi Carti, Pusha T and more.

Kanye West left fans disappointed when he replaced Jay-Z on “Jail” with DaBaby and Marilyn Manson, both engulfed in controversy at the time. Apparently, Ye needed his collaborators on stage at the Chicago listening party. “Everybody that’s not here, I’m taking their verses off,” he said. “So, I’m taking Jay-Z verse off. I’m taking – if there’s anybody not here on the porch with me, they’re not on this version.” Afterward, Ye looks at the camera and asks, “How do you even describe these kinds of conversations, bro?”

Kanye West’s Donda Documentary

Although Ye debuted Donda in Chicago without Hov, he released the project with both versions of “Jail.” It marked the return of The Throne – Jay-Z and Kanye West’s first collaboration since their underwhelming appearance on “Pop Style.” Earlier in the documentary clip, there’s a scene where Kanye’s working in a classroom-like setting with engineers and producers as they tweak the final product of “Jail.” Around the time, Ye also confirmed that Watch The Throne II would arrive before the year came to an end, but that never actually happened. There’s still no real update on whether that project will ever come to fruition.

In addition to insight into “Jail,” the behind-the-scenes clip provides some interesting looks into Ye’s creative process at the time. Alongside footage from the studio, the clip also shows Ye visiting his childhood home in Chicago and delivering a passionate sermon to his collaborators. During the speech, he thanks God for his now-estranged wife, kids, and mother, and for becoming alcohol-free. It’s overall an interesting clip that will likely have you revisiting Donda. Check out the snippet above and sound off with your thoughts.

Blueface Gets Out Of Jail, Jaidyn Alexis Picks Him Up

Blueface got himself into a bit of trouble on Wednesday. As we reported, he was in court for a preliminary hearing into his recent attempted murder charge. However, things got a bit out of wack as he was arrested for a separate felony robbery chart. Overall, there was very little information as to what exactly went down here. For now, it is unclear what incident ultimately led to this most recent arrest. All that is known right now is that he did get charged and that he has since been released.

At the time of his arrest, his bond was set at $20,000 which is quite low, especially for a famous rapper. That said, there was someone waiting for Blueface when he did get out of jail. Below, in an Instagram story reposted by No Jumper, you can see that Jaidyn Alexis was waiting for the rapper. Of course, Alexis is Blue’s first baby mother. Overall, the two have been spending quite a bit of time together. Although, some believe this is simply a ploy to make Chrisean Rock feel jealous.

Blueface Is A Free Man

If you have been paying attention, you know that Blueface and Chrisean Rock are always involved in some sort of drama. Moreover, the artist has been hanging out with Alexis, and even going out on dates. Additionally, he even told the woman that she will likely be taking care of Rock’s child. These are some wild and out-of-pocket comments that have rubbed many the wrong way. As for Rock, she seems pretty fed up with the rapper’s antics. However, based on leaked text messages, it is clear she still very much loves him.

The Blueface shenanigans never seem to let up, and that probably won’t change for quite some time. Hopefully, however, he and Chrisean are able to patch things up before the baby is born. At the end of the day, it would be sad for a child to be put into such a bad situation. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world.

Gervonta Davis Says Jail Move Was Due To Judge Not Approving Of House Arrest Setup

On Thursday, Gervonta Davis was taken into custody for an “impromptu hearing” while serving house arrest. As a result of this hearing, Davis’ sentence was changed from house arrest to penal incarceration. At the time, Baltimore Sherrif’s Office did not reveal what prompted the hearing, or why Davis’ sentence was changed. Davis was immediately transferred to county jail after the hearing.

Gervonta Davis was sentenced to three months of house arrest for his role in a 2020 hit-and-run incident. In November 2020, Davis ran a red light and struck another vehicle, with prosecutors claiming Davis fled the scene despite injuring a pregnant woman. Davis pled guilty to four charges. Davis began his house arrest in early May. Furthermore, on top of the house arrest, Davis was required to complete 200 hours of community service and attend sessions with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Gervonta Davis Sheds Light On Move To Jail

In audio released by No Jumper, Davis appears to shed light on why he was moved from house arrest to jail for the rest of his sentence. “She wanted me in a one-bedroom apartment,” Davis explains, referring to the judge, “in a one-bedroom apartment without being able to see my kids or anything.” Davis goes on to criticize the judge saying, “I don’t know if she’s a bad judge or what.” It’s unclear who Davis had called to relay this information. However, Davis stressed that he wanted to “shine light on the situation” and that was why he was calling.

Davis had been staying at the home of his trainer, Calvin Ford prior to the Thursday night hearing. Presumably, the judge felt that Davis had a little too much luxury available to him during his punishment. As a result, Davis will now spend the next 30 days in county jail. It’s unclear if this detention will be re-evaluated at that time, or if Davis’ original 90-day sentence has been reduced. This is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.

Danny Masterson Kept Out of Gen Pop Ahead Of Sentencing

Earlier this week, actor Danny Masterson, best known for playing Hyde in That 70’s Show, was found guilty on two counts of rape. Masterson’s first trial on the charges ended in a mistrial last October. Ahead of his retrial, Masterson added Shawn Holley, of O.J. trial fame, to his defense team. However, it was to no avail as Masterson was found guilty on two counts of rape. Furthermore, a third charge led to a deadlock among the jury. Additionally, Masterson will return to court for sentencing on August 4.

Masterson was accused of raping three women between 2001 and 2003. As one accuser, Jen B, testified, ““I couldn’t walk or stand, so he put me on the tile on the ground,” she testified. “I couldn’t open my eyelids. I felt really, really sick.” However, Masterson’s co-star Ashton Kutcher expressed his desire to see Masterson found innocent.

Masterson was transferred to L.A. County Men’s Central Jail after being found guilty. However, due to his celebrity status and the nature of his crimes, prison officials have elected to keep Masterson away from the general population. Dubbing it an “administrative segregation”, prison officials told TMZ that is was being done for Masterson’s safety. It’s the same treatment afforded to other notable inmates of LA Central, such as Suge Knight and O.J. Simpson.

As for the amenities that will be available to Masterson prior to his sentencing, TMZ was on hand with all the details. “There’s no TV in his cell, but he’ll have books from the jail’s library, and will be allowed out of his cell for 2 hours each day, at which time he can go to the day room and have access to a phone and TV. He’ll get time for recreation 3 hours a week. He’s able to shower every other day unless he’s going to court, and then he can shower daily.”

Gervonta Davis To Spend Rest Of House Arrest Sentence In Jail

Just weeks after his win over Ryan Garcia, Gervonta Davis was sentenced to three months of house arrest for his role in a 2020 hit-and-run incident. In November 2020, Davis ran a red light and struck another vehicle, with prosecutors claiming Davis fled the scene despite injuring a pregnant woman. Davis pled guilty to four charges.

Davis began his house arrest in early May, choosing to reside at the home of his trainer, Calvin Ford. On top of the house arrest, Davis was required to complete 200 hours of community service and attend sessions with Mothers Against Drunk Driving. However, less than a month into his sentence, things appear to have changed for the boxer.

First reported by The Baltimore Banner, Davis was taken into custody for an “impromptu hearing” on Thursday night. As a result of this hearing, Davis’ sentence was changed from house arrest to penal incarceration. However, Baltimore Sherrif’s Office has not revealed what prompted the hearing, or why Davis’ sentence was changed.

As a result, Davis will now spend the next two months behind bars. It’s a major change to his sentence, implying that something may have gone down to cause the legal system to reconsider the severity of his punishment. As noted by one of his victims at his plea hearing, Davis affected a number of lives that night. “Since Nov. 5, 2020, I been suffering damage to my knee. They told me I would never be the same,” Smith said. “It’s hard to see this go so long, and I never received an apology. I feel like I don’t matter. Imagine being 18 years old, and the doctor saying you’ll never be the same,” Jyair Smith told The Baltimore Sun. However, this is a developing story and we’ll have any updates here at HotNewHipHop.

YNW Melly Net Worth 2023: What Is The Rapper Worth?

Jamell Maurice Demons, better known by his stage name YNW Melly, stands among the successful names in the hip-hop industry. His dynamic and often controversial career has generated significant financial gains, resulting in a noticeable increase in his net worth.

YNW Melly Net Worth

According to a recent evaluation by CAKnowledge, the “Murder on My Mind” artist’s net worth stands at an impressive $5 million US dollars in 2023.

Factors Affecting YNW Melly’s Net Worth

What’s intriguing is how YNW Melly’s net worth has grown throughout the years, given the unique circumstances surrounding his career. His ascension to wealth can be credited to his musical talent, characterized by a versatile blend of hardcore rap and melodic harmonies that resonate with a large audience.

Another major contributor to YNW Melly’s net worth is the revenue from his album sales. His albums, such as I Am You and Melly vs. Melvin, have been certified Gold by RIAA, amassing millions of streams worldwide. The sales from these albums and the income from digital downloads and online streaming platforms contribute significantly to his net worth.

It’s worth noting, however, that Melly’s net worth has been affected by his legal challenges. With a career marred by legal issues, including a high-profile murder case, Melly’s earnings have been somewhat hampered. His incarceration has limited his ability to perform, thus affecting his earning potential. Nevertheless, his music continues to sell, reflecting the loyal fan base he has garnered. Melly has also released music from behind bars, ensuring he still receives income when jailed.

Other Revenue Streams

Despite these challenges, YNW Melly’s net worth remains robust, partly due to alternative revenue streams. The rapper has managed to sustain his net worth through various means, including merchandise sales. His branded merchandise, often sold out in a matter of hours, reveals the commercial clout he holds, even while behind bars.

In addition to merchandise sales, licensing deals have also contributed to Melly’s net worth. His songs have reportedly been used in films and television, generating significant income.

Projecting YNW Melly’s Future Net Worth

Looking ahead, Melly’s net worth could experience substantial fluctuations. His legal situation could influence his ability to generate income, while his music’s enduring popularity could continue to support his net worth. However, the durability of his income streams also hinges on his ability to adapt to changing trends within the music industry. The rise of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and other innovative platforms present potential avenues for growth.

Conclusion/TLDR

In conclusion, YNW Melly’s net worth, estimated at $5 million in 2023, is a testament to his talent and commercial appeal. Despite legal obstacles, his music attracts a vast audience, and his varied income streams ensure a resilient financial profile. Only time will tell how his net worth will evolve in the years to come.

Robert Allen To Serve Two More Years For XXXTentacion’s Murder

Robert Allen, one of the defendants charged in relation to musician XXXTentacion’s 2018 murder, was sentenced to seven years in prison today. He’s already served five years, meaning he’ll only serve an additional two years. Allen was also sentenced to 20 years of probation after his release. In April, the other three defendants were sentenced by the same judge, each receiving two life sentences. Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome were all found guilty of first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon the previous month. Claiming that the court had made several mistakes throughout the trial, Newsome also went on to seek a new trial in April. Allen pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed robbery in August of 2022. He also agreed to a deal to testify against his co-defendants, lightening his own sentence.

Broward Circuit Judge Michael A. Usan said in court, “No sentencing is easy, and this one is hard.” He also told Allen, “I genuinely believe you are sorry for what you have done and not sorry for yourself.” XXXTentacion’s family attended the trial. The late artist’s aunt, Deandra Ellis, spoke on behalf of their family at the hearing. She claimed that the family is happy with the outcome of the trial. “I say we are content as far as what the judge threw out for the sentencing,” she shared. “We still have a long road ahead of us. It’s still a day by day process for us. Everyday is just another day that he’s missing.”

Allen Is Sentenced To Seven Years

Prior to Allen’s sentencing, Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives and a Multi-Agency Gang Task Force member were also called to the stand by the prosecutor, Pascale Achille. They testified that Allen would be in danger based on his decision to testify against his co-defendants. Boatwright, Williams, and Allen were all affiliated with South Florida’s ZMF gang.

After Allen’s three co-defendants were sentenced, the mother of XXXTentacion’s child, Jenesis Sanchez, took to Instagram to share a message. “After 5 long years you may finally Rest In Peace,” she wrote. She continued, “Gekyume will never get to meet you earthside but it is my job as a mother to ensure I share those special memories with him.” Sanchez went on, saying, “Jah was robbed of his life and Geky was robbed of his father.” She also shares, “For this, I will never truly have complete peace but justice being served today helps the healing process.” Sanchez concludes with, “Thank you for the love and support. I am eternally grateful for all of the supporters, your positivity, and prayers have carried these last 5 years.”
