Murder Inc founder and producer (for acts like Ashanti and Ja Rule), Irv Gotti is reportedly ready to battle it out in a court of law.
On July 11, Irv Gotti (real name Irving Domingo Lorenzo) was named in a sexual assault lawsuit. In the Miami court documents, an alleged former love interest (only referred to as Jane Doe) accused Lorenzo of forcing her to perform oral sex on him, among other things. Now, a representative for the mogul has come out to deny the allegations and suggest a countersuit could be on the way.
In a statement provided to TMZ, the spokesperson rejected Doe’s claims and alleged that Lorenzo was being extorted. Read the full statement below.

The represent also hinted that Irv Gotti was considering taking legal actions of his own—by filing a countersuit for defamation.
Via an alleged representative, Irv Gotti has denied the sexual assault and abuse allegations against him by an anonymous woman in a new lawsuit. Moreover, TMZ reportedly obtained a statement about how he might file a countersuit since the Jane Doe in question only made this case once he refused her requests for monetary compensation. Allegedly, this lawsuit against Gotti emerged “after Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him. Furthermore, the mystery female filed suit against Irv Gotti on July 11 in Florida with accusations of sexual assault, battery, and intentionally inflicted emotional distress. She alleges that he abused her during two years of dating beginning in 2020, and that “Gotti coerced Plaintiff into having sex with him” on vacation, the lawsuit reads. Other details of alleged “unwanted sexual acts” include that “Gotti forced her to perform oral sex on him in an elevator,” and that later that year, “he again forced her to perform oral sex on him in an Uber.” The relationship apparently ended after this.

Meanwhile, this is definitely a much larger issue than what Irv Gotti had previously faced on social media as of late. During this vacation, she claims he pressured her into a sexual relationship, threatening to send her home if she did not comply with his demands. Upon returning from St. Martin, the woman asserts that she entered into a relationship with Gotti that lasted until 2022. Throughout this period, she alleges she was subjected to continuous abuse. The plaintiff describes instances of forced sexual acts, including a particularly traumatic incident in January 2022, where she claims Gotti coerced her into performing oral sex in a hotel elevator in Miami.

The abuse allegedly continued with another forced sexual encounter in the back of an Uber in Atlanta later in 2022. According to the lawsuit, these repeated assaults caused the plaintiff severe emotional and psychological distress, ultimately leading to her hospitalization in a psychiatric facility. Her legal team emphasizes the profound impact of these events on her mental health.
The lawsuit demands a jury trial and seeks compensatory damages for the alleged abuse. The plaintiff’s attorney, Adriana AlcaldeIn, highlights the courage required to come forward with such allegations, noting the supportive environment fostered by the #MeToo movement. 50 Cent, however, didn’t spare Irv Gotti after the news broke. “The legal fee’s are gonna break his ass in half, he ain’t got no money. Welp that all folks,” he wrote on Instagram. Considering the magnitude of the allegations, we don’t expect Gotti to respond anytime soon.

Jane Doe is seeking compensatory damages (to be determined at trial) for the claims listed in her filing. Irv Gotti has not yet responded to the accusations.

On this day in Hip Hop history, Queens rapper Ja Rule released his debut LP Venni Vetti Vicci. As the first release ofrom Irv Gotti‘s Murder Inc. record label, this project carried a lot of weight on its shoulders as the breakthrough for not only Ja Rule’s career but the career and integrity of Murder Inc Records as a whole.

Ashanti downplayed her relationship with Gotti during an interview with Angie Martinez after his Drink Champs comments. “Let’s clear this up. Dame Dash says that he’s worried about Irv Gotti’s “mental health” after his former business partner claimed that JAY-Z was solely responsible for the success of Roc-A-Fella Records. Speaking on The CEO Show on Saturday, Dame fired back at the remarks.
“Irv is my brother, so sometimes I worry about his mental health,” he said during the interview. “What I see him doing is celebrating, taking his artists’ masters and selling them and saying, ‘Y’know, this is how I make my money,’ and that’s the furthest thing that I would ever do with any one of my artists. My thing is to keep a creative as economically empowered as possible ’cause you know what you get when you get a rich creative? You get a Kanye [West], you get a JAY-Z. So my artists generally end up being billionaires.”

As for Gotti’s comments, he had been speaking with N.O.R.E. on Drink Champs, last month, about JAY-Z’s The Book of HOV. There had been rumors that Dame Dash had been “removed” from the exhibit. In response, Gotti mentioned that he feels JAY-Z doesn’t like Dame. “Jay didn’t need nobody,” Irv said. “[Dame] started Roc-A-Fella with Jay and Biggs [Kareem Burke], so he should get credited. [But] I’m saying the making of the records — I don’t know what you want me to say. Jay didn’t need nobody.
