Erica Banks’ Fans Claim She Went Too Far With Her BBL

Erica Banks has been making waves recently for a variety of reasons. The biggest is her challenge to Megan Thee Stallion. She was asked during an interview if she thought she could go freestyle for freestyle with Meg and confidently confirmed that she’s the superior MC. Fans were a little skeptical of her confidence at first and even more so after an old tweet of hers from 2018 was dug in. In the tweet she compares herself to Megan directly as a flex. Many fans think that old tweet undercut much of what she was trying to do by claiming she can take Meg in a freestyle battle.

Now Erica Banks is making waves for an entirely different reason. A new clip of her walking on stage for a performance has fans thinking she may have taken her BBL to far. To be fair, many have confessed their love for her physique in the past, but that appears to be shifting. “What happened????? Just two weeks ago it looked good” one of the top comments replied to the video. “She fuqed it up! it looked so good at first! why tf did she go back and get a second round… smh!” another top comment agreed. Gunna’s New Look Has Fans Declaring An All-Time Glow Up

Earlier this month, Gunna dropped his new album One Of Wun. The project put up solid sales numbers in its first week, though not quite as high as he expected or promised. Ahead of the album’s release he told TMZ that the album was headed for the top spot on the Billboard 200. The album debuted at number 2, being held back by Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department which has occupied the top spot nearly every week since it was released.

But fans have already pivoted to paying attention to something else entirely related to the “fukumean” rapper. A new clip of him performing is making the rounds online and many can’t help but point out his physique. The clip shows off a particularly fit looking Gunna during a recent performance. In the comments fans are incredibly impressed with his results. “Chile this glow up is one for the books” one of the top comments on the post reads. “The gym will make a better version of everybody! Gunna has had an incredibly busy 2024 so far. The videos of his performances come from his Bittersweet tour which took off earlier this year. He’s also found the time to record a few collaborations. He popped up with guest verses on new singles from both Normani and Tyla already this year. His crossover with Tyla recently got a music video shot in the breakthrough R&B singer’s native Johannesburg. Gunna makes an appearance in the video alongside Skillibeng who also appears as a featured artist on the track.

Yung Miami Teases Fans With Ambiguous Trailer For What’s Coming Soon

Last year, City Girls released their new album RAW. The project was highly anticipated by fans following their 2020 project City On Lock which spawned fan favorites like “Jobs” and “P*ssy Talk.” But JT and Yung Miami’s latest album together underperformed commercially and was met with mostly shrugs from critics. That caused many, even big fans of the duo to speculate that they may need to take off on some solo ventures. One of the most acclaimed and successful songs on RAW was “No Bars” which was handled solo by JT.

She’s continued to release solo singles this year as well as a few collaborations with artists like Doechii and Kali Uchis. Now Yung Miami might be gearing up to follow in her collaborator’s footsteps, though it’s not exactly clear. Miami took to Instagram to share what looks like a trailer for some kind of new era. The video is a compilation of her interacting with fans complimented by a voiceover explaining her feelings. She discusses being an underdog, but losing her focus and overthinking the process as time went on. Lil Yachty has had quite a few people turn on him it seems. Over the last few weeks, the Georgia rapper, singer, and songwriter has caught some flak over his takes on the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef. In fact, a fan on X (formerly Twitter) called him for essentially being a fake friend. It got pretty explosive, with Lil Boat telling the fan to “suck a d**k nerd”. Now, on top of dealing with people online calling him a traitor, listeners are not messing with some new material he has coming soon. An Instagram repost from 2Cool2Blog showed off a new snippet from Lil Yachty, but the reception on it has been purely negative.

One user cannot believe that Drake really has him to help write songs. “This guy is supposed to be a ghostwriter ”. “This s***s horrible, fam subtitles should let you know immediately that this ain’t it,” another adds. One hip-hop fan even makes the claim that Yachty has pushed out bad material for a minute now. “It’s impressive how consecutively trash his music has been over the years.”

A lot of commenters were also alluding to the fact that he was biting off other sounds. Some of the most popular ones were LUCKI, Veeze, and Playboi Carti. We can definitely see where the people are coming from. Yachty is rapping with a severely raspy and lowkey cadence, his flows sound sleepy, and he is lyrics are barely discernable because of the mumbly delivery. Stories about Timberlake included allegedly getting Spears pregnant leading to a harrowing abortion and then breaking up with her by text while she was on the set of a film. It painted a rough picture of her fellow pop star.

That created an interesting few months for the pair. First Justin was forced to turn his Instagram comments off after backlash from fans. A few months after the book dropped he seemingly apologized, only to go back on it just a few weeks later. The pair have seemingly been caught up in an indirect feud for weeks since then. But issues with Timberlake have become the least of Spears’ worries. In the past few months numerous insiders have reported concerning things about her finances and mental health. In a new video shared to Instagram, Britney Spears shows off her empty jewelry box. “So you can see for real all my jewelry was stolen … it’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing. So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me … and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone … it’s so thin,” the caption on her post reads.

Finesse2Tymes says he’s considering going to therapy but has never been one to pay others for advice. He made the admission in a candid update about his weight loss journey on Instagram, over the weekend. In doing so, he also shared a video montage of himself working out, cooking healthy food, and more.

“Weight loss journey going well, thanks for all the prayers, to my fans and supporters much love,” he wrote. “Physically I’m 100% better, Mentally I’m not, I think I need to see a therapist, I never been into paying people for advice.” There was a mix of support and trolling in the comments section. “All these negative comments from black people.. It’s sickening,” one user wrote. Another added: “Keep going they ain’t talk bout shii I be glad when school start back so all these kids in the comments can find some else to do with they time.”

NAV Teases New Pharrell Collaboration After Beefing With Drake

NAV never leaves the studio. It seems that way, at least. The Canadian rapper has dropped four projects in the last four years, and he’s already announced two more to come in 2024. He plans on dropping the mixtape Nav2, as well as the studio album On My Way 2 Rexdale. The production on NAV’s projects has consistently been a highlight, affirming the rapper’s ear for good beats and collaborators. This is what makes his latest linkup impressive, if not altogether surprising. The Canadian rapper posted photos on his Instagram of him alongside Pharrell Williams.

NAV and Pharrell posed for photos at the Louis Vuitton office in Paris, France. The two men enjoyed the Louis products in stock, but the most exciting aspect of the post was that NAV and Pharrell appeared to be working on music as well. One photo sees Pharrell playing a keyboard at a desk, while NAV sits next to him. The latter didn’t provide any context in the form of a caption, but it’s safe to assume that he has plans for a collab with Skateboard P. This would be the first time the artists appear on the same song.

The timing of the NAV and Pharrell photos is worth taking into consideration. Both men played a role in the recent battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, even if they weren’t putting out diss tracks of their own. NAV unfollowed Drake on Instagram in the midst of the battle, which led to Drake using lyrics from the NAV song “Turks” to troll him. Some fans theorize that the Drake line “head to Delilah with all of my ice” from “Family Matters” was also a dig at his fellow Canadian. Pharrell, meanwhile, has had tension with Drake for over a decade.

Kendrick Lamar criticized Drake’s beef with Pharrell on the song “Euphoria” and announced his plan to inherit it. Drake fired back on the aforementioned “Family Matters,” telling Lamar to come get Pharrell’s “legacy” out of his house. The “legacy” in question is jewelry designed and owned by P prior to Drake purchasing it. NAV and Pharrell have very little in common as musicians (outside of working with The Weeknd), but the shared enemy gives their prospective collaboration an interesting additional layer.

Fans Theorize That Doja Cat Is Dissing Her Dad On Social Media

Doja Cat doesn’t care what people thinks. She’s become one of the most provocative pop stars of the 2020s, and a lot of her provocation is aimed at those close to her. Doja has criticized her fans for taking her music and artistry too seriously, and her latest Instagram post has those same fans theorizing that she’s turned her ire towards a member of her own family. The “Agora Hills” singer doesn’t mention anybody by name, but there are some clues as to who it could be.

Doja Cat posted two seemingly random photos of herself on May 26. The first was close up of her face with a shocked expression. The second, even more bizarrely, was of her backside with a robe covering it. It would have been tricky to make heads or tails of the post’s meaning, but the caption added a level of significance that caught fans off guard. “I’m gonna turn you into my next project and you’re gonna have to listen to it for the rest of your god forsaken life,” she wrote. No elaboration, or hashtags hinting at her target. The widely accepted theory is that Doja Cat was talking about her father, Dumisani Dlamini.

Dlamini is an actor and dancer hailing from South Africa. He has praised Doja Cat’s success in various outlets, but the two have never actually met in person. Doja talked about the psychological impact this had on her as a child during a 2021 profile with Rolling Stone. “I felt confused, a little bit,” she recalled. “It’s a little strange to see everybody else with their dad, and you didn’t even really have one.” She has spoken highly of Dlamani’s skills as a performer, but made it clear that was not an influence on her own career.

The piece of evidence that the father theory is Doja Cat’s X bio. The singer recently changed her bio to specifically refer to Dlamini’s absence. “My dad’s a deadbeat but I did well,” it currently reads. Doja had more to say about Dlamini in an Instagram Story. On May 27, the singer spun a makeup tutorial into a scathing indictment of her father’s character. “Dad, let me know when/if you need me to re-up your makeup cabinet because you are a b*tch.” Seems like an open-and-shut case.

During a recent conversation, he was asked about people pronouncing his name wrong and gave an enthusiastic response. Clearly the mistakes bother him as he explained the incorrect was people pronounce the a in Cenat. In particular, there’s one person whose mistake bothers him the most, Drake.

It’s not hard to see why he would be hung up on Drake mispronouncing his name given how many people are paying attention every time Drake talks. It’s unclear if the interview comments are intended to eventually get Drake to say it right or just more joking excitement from Kai. The two interviewers in the clip seem to be in on the joke as they parlay it directly into a full conversation about the rapper. In particular, they touch on his recent beef with Kendrick Lamar. Fans and members of the rap media are still picking up the pieces from Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef. The diss tracks came in such rapid fire succession that fans could hardly break them down before a new one arrived. The one song that seems to be sticking with people more than any other is Kendrick’s Not Like Us. The track has broken numerous Spotify records already for how fast its racking up streams. It also broke records for how many streams it generated in its first 24 hours. The track also made a splash on the Hot 100 where it still sits in the top 5 after 3 weeks on the chart.
