All Young Thug Wants Is T.I. And Boosie To Drop Their Joint Album

Despite still being in state custody, Young Thug is still using his Instagram to communicate with fans and fellow artists. Yesterday with a post to his Instagram story, Thugger made a request of two of his former collaborators. His post asked Boosie and T.I. to “go ahead and drop that album together. that’s all a n*gga want.” Thug, T.I., and Boosie Badazz all three worked together on the track “Can’t Tell” from Thug’s Barter 6 mixtape. Despite his words, it’s hard to believe that is the ONLY thing he wants given his legal situation.

New stories are coming out every day in regards to the YSL RICO case. Just yesterday, Young Thug’s lawyer had to come out and deny that he provided information to police about a homicide. Avoiding snitching allegations is crucial for Thugger following the drama of Gunna. The fellow YSL rapper took a plea deal which reportedly included snitching. Many other artists like Lil Baby and Lil Durk have taken issue with his actions. Even Thug might have made a statement on it with a song from his new album Business Is Business. While a track that features lyrics about snitching was recorded before the pair were arrested in the first place, its inclusion on the album has been interpreted by many as a statement of its own.

Young Thug’s new album is mainly a clearing out of the vault. Producer and frequent collaborator Metro Boomin gathered together some unreleased songs from the rapper’s past to make up the tracklist of the new album. Despite the origins of the tracks, fans were excited that new music of any kind was dropping.

While official numbers aren’t in yet, Business Is Business is expected to fall short of its initial sales projections. Drake Reflects On “Honestly, Nevermind” One Year Later

This time last year, Drake divided the internet with his Honestly, Nevermind album. It left many of those hoping to hear the Canadian show off his rap skills disappointed, though others who have been leaning into the resurgence of dance music thoroughly enjoyed the 14-track effort. In just a few days, he and 21 Sav are embarking on the It’s All A Blur tour, which will find Drizzy performing songs from their joint LP, Her Loss, as well as his own recent releases like Certified Lover Boy and Honestly, Nevermind.

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of the polarizing project, Drake shared the album notes over a black screen on his Instagram Story. “I let my humbleness turn to numbness at times letting time go by knowing I got the endurance to catch it another time,” they begin. “I work with every breath in my body ’cause it’s the work not air that makes me feel alive. That’s some real detrimental shit, but that’s that shit my perfectionist mind doesn’t really mind because no one knows what’s on my mind when I go to sleep at nine and wake up at five – unless I say it in a rhyme.”

The following likes find Drake reflecting on the price of fame, and how most people he meets are more concerned with taking photos together for clout than actually connecting with him. “I got plans I can’t talk about with more than like four guys because the last time I shared ’em with someone on the outside… Well, that’s another story for another night. I was tryna get thru that statement to get to saying I’m not at a time in my life where pats on the shoulder help get me by,” he continues.

“I know everyone that tells me they love me doesn’t love me all the time, especially when I’m doing better than alright and they have to watch it from whatever point they at in their life,” Champagne Papi adds before reminding us he got where he is by “being realistic,” not by “being blind” and sending a shoutout to the late Virgil Abloh. Aside from reflecting on his past releases, Drake has also given us a few new features to enjoy this weekend. YK Osiris Says Fans “Be Putting Me In My Place” After Sukihana Incident

YK Osiris joked about fans’ responses to his recent incident with Sukihana on his Instagram Story, earlier this week, remarking that he’s been put in his place. Osiris faced ample backlash online after forcing himself on Sukihana at an event thrown by The Crew League in Atlanta, earlier this month.

“I swear y’all be putting me in my place,” Osiris wrote with laughing and heart emojis. The post comes after Osiris apologized to Sukihana for his behavior at the event, admitting that he was “embarrassed.”

“I want to publicly offer my sincerest apology to Sukihana. In an attempt to be playful, I misread the moment and violated Sukihana’s boundaries,” he wrote. “I understand the importance of consent and I am embarrassed by my behavior, I take full responsibility and have made multiple attempts to apologize. I have the utmost admiration for Sukihana and it was never my intention to disrespect her.”

Sukihana later accepted Osiris’ apology, while making it clear that she doesn’t intend to “excuse” it either. She revealed in an Instagram post that Osiris apologized both “publicly and privately and I have chosen to accept his apology. God always forgives me and I can always forgive others.”

She added: “He is young. It is my prayer that this experience will cause him and others to be more mindful and respect the personal boundaries of others. I am human, a woman, a mother and daughter before I am an entertainer. Drake Posts Up With Lil Yachty, Shares Studio Pics

Drake and Lil Yachty have been spending a lot of time together as of late. They appeared in a beachside interview with apparel brand FUTUREMOOD earlier this year. Meanwhile, both men are currently working on new music. Drake told NME in January that he might be releasing a solo album this year. Furthermore, the Toronto rapper released the single “Search & Rescue” in April. The song recently re-entered discussion after a cut Lil Durk verse was rediscovered, in which he appeared to profess a love of watersports. The artist later clarified the lyrics.

Meanwhile, Lil Yachty dropped his fifth studio album, Let’s Start Here, in January 2023. The album peaked at #9 on the Billboard Album 200, the rapper’s best album chart performance since Lil Boat 2 in 2018. Yachty also released the single “Strike (Holster)” in April, which peaked at #55 on the Billboard Hot 100. Drake and Yachty have only ever collabed once, with Drake featuring on Yachty’s single “Oprah’s Bank Account”. However, is that about to change?

An image from Drake’s Instagram story on June 17 shows Lil Yachty enjoying lunch with Drake. A later image in the story shows the interior of a recording studio. Does this mean the pair are cooking up a new track together? Furthermore, will this be a single release or part of Drake’s aforementioned album? Corroborating images do not appear on Lil Yachty’s Instagram page.

The lunch image alone would point to something more innocuous but the fact that Drake included the recording studio image points to this being a collab. Drake’s last album, 2022’s Honestly, Nevermind, featured one collaboration track. The album ended with “Jimmy Cooks”, which featured 21 Savage. Zion Williamson Hit With Allegations From Another Influencer

It’s going from bad to worse for Zion Willamson. First, the Pelicans forward was accused of cheating on OnlyFans creator Moriah Mills after Mills saw images from Williamson’s gender reveal party with baby momma Ahkeema. Alongside various texts and Snapchat messages, Mills claimed that she and Williamson had hooked up as recently as last week. Meanwhile, the images showed Williamson simping hard and also offering to fly Mills out to his road games. Additionally, Mills alleged that Williamson was bankrolling her move to New Orleans so the pair could be closer.

The internet has had a lot of fun roasting the injury-plagued forward. Stephen A. Smith delivered a particularly masterful response to the whole situation. Meanwhile, former NBA star Gilbert Arenas came to Williamson’s defense with a passionate, if eccentric, take on the situation. However, despite all this, things are only getting worse as a third woman has now joined the fray.

Blueface Exposes Chrisean Rock’s Texts After She Calls Him The Devil

Blueface had himself a very interesting situation on Wednesday. As we reported, Blue was arrested on felony robbery charges. Overall, the inciting incident for this arrest is still unknown. However, we do know that he was arrested while in court for a preliminary hearing in his attempted murder trial. Needless to say, the authorities knew exactly where he was going to be. Since that time, Blue has been released on bond, and he is already trolling his on-again-off-again partner, Chrisean Rock.

In the Instagram down below, you can see a text message conversation between Blueface and Rock. As you can see, Blueface is barely saying anything. Although, Chrisean Rock is pleading with the rapper to be there for her. Overall, she claims that she can’t lose him and that it would mess up her whole world. Based on the replies and energy espoused by the artist, it seems as though he doesn’t really care how she feels right now.

Perhaps his energy is in response to some of the things Chrisean said about Blue after his arrest. For instance, in the clip below, she says it’s good that he’s in jail. Furthermore, she even called him the devil. Last night, she also hopped on Twitter to get a few things off her chest. “If he wanna go out his way to troll me n his unborn kid that’s his karma but if anything happen to that man idc how much bad he wished on me or shitted on me I don’t wish jail or death on anybody fr,” Rock said. “Obviously I distant my self because nobody deserves to be treated like that.”

Ultimately, this situation continues to get out of hand. For a lot of people, this has been very hard to watch. Some say both have been abusive toward one another, while others claim it’s more on Blueface than anything else. Either way, it is clear that the two have yet to truly reconcile.

Lil Meech Calls Summer Walker Out For “Watching Maury Too Much”

When fans first heard that Summer Walker is boo’d up with Lil Meech, they were full of surprise, to say the least. Since then, their adorable social media antics have caused the public to warm up to the pair, especially knowing the R&B diva’s tumultuous past in the realm of romance. We’ve seen them kicking back at the shisha bar together, and the BMF actor even clapped back at his homies clowning him for being so in love during a FaceTime call.

While most of their time together seems to be filled with smiles and laughter, that doesn’t mean there aren’t moments of drama that come too. On Monday (June 5), Meech exposed Walker for nearly freaking out at him via text, noting that she’s been “watching too much ‘Maury.’” In the messages, the mother of three tells her man that she’ll have a layover in Atlanta this week and wants to see him. That text came through twice, along with a white heart. When she didn’t receive a reply, Summer was quick to call out her 23-year-old beau.

Lil Durk Floats Idea Of “Voice Of The Heroes 2” On Instagram

It’s been a big couple of weeks for Lil Durk. In May, he pre-empted the release of his upcoming album by dropping “All My Life ft. J. Cole”. That single did numbers, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has been streamed, at the time of writing, over 62 million times. Furthermore, “All My Life” is out-streaming NBA YoungBoy’s Richest Opp by a ratio of 2.21:1. Furthermore, early projections for his new album, Almost Healed, suggest that he could challenge for the #1 spot in the Billboard 200.

Despite the success of Almost Healed, Lil Durk is already teasing a potential new project. The tease came via Durk’s Instagram story and if true, would be a sequel to a wildly successful collaborative album from last year. Furthermore, it would include another “lil” artist who has seen plenty of success in his own right.

Reuploaded by DJ Akademics, Lil Durk teased his new potential project on his Instagram story. “VOH2? @lilbaby just a thought,” Lil Durk wrote, followed by a trophy emoji. The Voice of the Heroes came out in June 2021 and spent a week at #1. Certified platinum, the album featured collaborations with Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug, and Rod Wave. Outside of reaching #1 in the US, it had top-10 peaks in Canada, Dutch, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Per HotNewHipHop‘s Aron A. – “The Voice Of The Heroes is, undoubtedly, a product of supply-and-demand, but fortunately, it didn’t succumb to its would-be fate as an easy money-grab consisting of a bloated tracklist full of throwaways and mailed-in verses.”

However, it’s unclear if Durk was teasing an already-planned collab, or pitching a sequel to Baby. Lil Baby’s last album was October 2022’s It’s Only Me, which peaked at #1 and is certified platinum. However, Baby has not released anything suggesting that fans can expect a new project this year. However, fans took the opportunity to troll Durk, claiming he was “running for help” after Almost Healed “flopped”. Are we calling 124,000 in first week sales a flop? Doesn’t feel like flop numbers, especially after Richest Opp didn’t even sell half that in its first week. However, it remains to be seen whether Durk is simply fishing, or if there is meat to this story.

LeBron James is easily one of the greatest basketball players that has ever lived. However, he is constantly disrespected. Although much of this disrespect comes from 14-year-olds with Bol Bol profile pictures on Twitter, the truth stands. James is one of the most underappreciated stars ever. Overall, his four NBA titles, numerous MVPs, and even his scoring record are seemingly never enough to convince some people. The Michael Jordan fans have diluted themselves into never liking LeBron. It’s sad, but it is the reality.

Subsequently, after being eliminated from the postseason, LeBron James has had to deal with a bit of slander. Some casuals think that at 38 years old, he should be carrying sorry teams to a title. However, that is simply not the case. His teammates did not show up in the Western Conference Finals, and there wasn’t much he could do about it. Regardless, he was forced to shoulder the blame. Now, he is speaking out about this predicament. While taking to his Instagram story, LeBron had a reminder for some people.

“I’m suppose to be #1 on everybody list. We’ll see what happens when I no longer exist,” LeBron James wrote. As it stands, LeBron is contemplating retirement. Overall, this would be a huge move that would rock the sports world. Although, many believe he’s going to come back. That said, he brings up a good point. If he were to retire, his absence would be felt immediately. He is such a fantastic and dominant player that the NBA really can’t afford him to leave. It’s sad, but ultimately very true. Not to mention, the Lakers would be a disaster without him.

Following LeBron’s statement, some fans rushed to social media to tell him to cut it out. Some feel as though he is doing too much to try and convince people of his greatness. To begin the week, Offset showed his millions of followers exactly that, keeping one hand firmly planted on his wife’s behind while recording their conversation.
