Kid Cudi Shares Throwback Music Video For “ILL WHAT I BLEED”

“taking it back to 09 baby” is what Kid Cudi tweeted before dropping his new music video. It’s for the track “ILL WHAT I BLEED” which originally dropped on Soundcloud last month. Now, he’s finally releasing the song onto streaming and celebrating with an accompanying music video. Cudi insists that this isn’t the second single from his upcoming album INSANO, just something from the album to tide fans over.

In the video itself, Cudi takes an impromptu trip around Seoul, South Korea. he makes stops at clothing stores, food markets, and just on any random street corner dancing and rapping along to the track. It’s a video that’s effortlessly fun and cool which fans were quick to point out in the comments. “Kid cudi radiates cool older brother energy,” and “Glad to see Cudi in a better place and just having fun with everything. You can really tell as of lately, much love,” two of the top comments read. The video has only been out for a few hours and already racked up more than 18k views. Check out the entire video below.

Here Are The Features On Kid Cudi’s Upcoming ‘Insano’ Album

After he received less than favorable feedback from fans regarding his teaser snippet for the song “Flex,” Kid Cudi returned to the creativity drawing board. Unfortunately, extra time was needed to make that musical pivot so that Cudi could rethink his approach for his forthcoming album, Insano. Ultimately, he postponed the project, which was slated to drop in June. Due to the temporary album setback, Cudi has fed fans other collaborations, including a campaign with Star Trek and a song with Lil Durk.

Thanks to his recent concert, supporters have more insight into what the future holds for the body of work. Here are the features on Cudi’s upcoming ‘Insano’ album. Following Cudi’s last Cudder’s Clubhouse performance at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday, October 15, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm a handful of collaborations that could appear on the project.

Cudi confirmed Pusha T and Travis Scott during an exchange with a fan on the platform. According to HotNewHipHop, other suspected cameos include ASAP Rocky, Young Thug, and Lil Yachty.

Cudi felt generous during his online browsing and confirmed that Insano will still be released in January 2024.

Several pop-up dates remain for Cudi’s intimate show, including stops in Dallas and Houston, Texas; more details will be revealed then.

Some artists covered here are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Kid Cudi’s “INSANO” Features Revealed: Travis Scott, ASAP Rocky, Young Thug & More

Kid Cudi’s INSANO is going to be one of 2024’s first big rap projects to drop, and there’s a lot of anticipation for it. Even though it’s been a rocky road, with snippets that fans disliked, it’s a blessing to have that be the most contentious part of your rollout. Moreover, he is hyping up the album with plenty of teases about it, and a huge one arrived during (presumably) one of his intimate Cudder’s Clubhouse shows in New York. Speaking to the crowd, the Cleveland native revealed the features that will appear on his next full-length. The best part? It’s not even a full list, and it’s already stacked with great artists.

“We got Travis, we got Rocky, we got Yachty, who else? We got a couple,” Kid Cudi remarked to deafening cheers. “Oh yeah we got Thug on there, I got Pusha. That’s enough, I don’t want to- I got more than that, but that’s enough.” Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, and Pusha T sound like a fantastic set of collaborators for this next phase of Scott Mescudi’s music career. He has great chemistry and past collabs with all of them except Yachty, and their first team-up should yield some incredible results considering their artistic visions.

I am positive this album will have everything u need from me, the fun, the deep thoughts, the inspiration to go out and live ur life and be great, the love, the madness, all of it.  And I have a wonderful cast of features that im sure u all will love.”

Kid Cudi Confirms His New Album Will Have 40+ Songs

Long albums have become increasingly common in the streaming era. It’s common in rap for albums to run over 20 tracks these days. The biggest-selling album of 2023 so far, Morgan Wallen’s One Thing At A Time, features a whopping 36 tracks. Taylor Swift’s massive Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) has a substantial 22 tracks of its own. Indie singer Mac DeMarco surprised fans earlier this year by unleashing an astonishing 199-song album called One Wayne G back in April. Now, Kid Cudi is following in the footsteps of those releasing albums with massive tracklists.

Cudi’s new album INSANO was originally due for release earlier this year but was ultimately delayed. He seems to be committed to making the best possible use of that extra time. “There are 40+ songs on INSANO between the main album and deluxe(s). Ur welcome. 2024 takeover begins,” Cudi tweeter. Cudi isn’t exactly known for short albums. Much of his discography features tracklists that run between 15 and 20 tracks. His often maligned 2015 album Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven was released with a collection of demos that added up to 26 total tracks. Check out Cudi’s tweet and some of the fan reactions below.

Kid Cudi’s New Album Will Be LONG

Fans in the comments of an Instagram post discussing the tweet showed some caution. “dawg why so many,” one of the top comments reads. “Ain’t no way it’s people finna listen to that,” another highly upvoted comment says. While there are some people expressing excitement for the project, many seem to think that 40 tracks is too many.

Kid Cudi also received some flak from fans for his pitching ability. The singer was invited to throw the first pitch at a recent Cleveland Guardians game. Like many celebs in the past he seemed to find out that it wasn’t as easy as it looks and his unimpressive pitch made the rounds online. What do you think of Kid Cudi’s new album having more than 40 tracks on it? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kid Cudi’s “INSANO” Delayed, He Drops Two New Songs & Addresses Playboi Carti Collab

Kid Cudi unfortunately announced that his next album, INSANO, is delayed until January, and shared a message with fans to accompany this. Of course, this will hit many die-hards as a huge disappointment, especially considering that its original release date was on September 15. However, it seems like the Cleveland creative wanted to give something special to fans to make up for it. Moreover, he did it in the best way: by sharing two tracks off the album exclusively on SoundCloud. “ILL WHAT I BLEED” and “MOST AIN’T DENNIS” are two woozy, bass-heavy, and minimal trap cuts that see him going in a slightly different direction, and he said that these are two of his favorites in his message.

“Hey fam!!” Kid Cudi’s announcement began. “Got some updates for yall. Some bad news, some good. I have to push INSANO back til January. I want to make sure that everything lines up and I give y’all the best version of myself. This album is amazing and I want to make sure I present it in the best way for y’all. Thats the bad news. I still plan on releasing the next single soon so dont even worry about that.

And things gotta be right. I love yall!!! Enjoy! -Scott.”

Mr. Rager Updates Fans On INSANO & Carti Collab

Meanwhile, Mr. Rager also let fans know that their anticipation for a previously previewed Playboi Carti collab, “Solo Dolo, Pt. IV,” is moot. “Not happenin man please yall stop askin aboit this song forget it exist in ur minds,” he responded to a fan begging for it. “Please.” While we won’t get INSANO just yet, Scott Mescudi always commits to making it up to fans in the best way possible. Kid Cudi Unveils “INSANO” Album Cover

Kid Cudi shared a new, critical detail of his next release with followers on social media today. The Cleveland-born performer finally unveiled the album cover for his LP INSANO, getting fans geared up for his latest project. Brooklyn-based artist and designer KAWS is the mind behind INSANO‘s cover art. It’s colorful and vibrant, boasting vivid shades of pink, blue, green, and more. It also features some black, sketch-like details, cementing its modern flair.

The lively artwork appears to match the bright and dreamy sound of the artist’s June arrival, “Porsche Topless,” suggesting that there could be more of that to come. Kid Cudi has worked alongside KAWS in the past, and supporters seem thrilled that they’ve joined forces once again. INSANO is expected to drop on September 15 of this year. It’ll be his ninth full-length offering, following 2022’s Entergalactic.

KAWS-Designed INSANO Artwork

Rumors have swirling about what other artists fans will hear the project, with many suspecting features from Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, and more. At the end of last month, Kid Cudi even gave listeners a preview of his collaboration with Steve Aoki, “Electrowave Baby 2.0.,” during the DJ’s Tomorrowland set. Kid Cudi’s been teasing INSANO on Twitter for some time now, recently sharing that there are three more album covers on the way. He confirmed today that this will be the main album cover, with the other ones set to arrive tonight. He’s also been hinting at some upcoming merch, presumably also designed by KAWS, that fans can’t wait to get their hands on.

Fortunately for those looking to catch up with Kid Cudi, it appears as though they can see him on Drink Champs soon. “Ima sit and talk w Nore and ima address some stuff, talk about my journey last few years and the future,” he recently Tweeted. “Stay tuned for that.” It seems like it’s a go, as N.O.R.E responded, claiming that they’re “waiting.”

Kid Cudi Gives Promising Update On Travis Scott Collabs

Kid Cudi’s musical career has seen its share of ups and downs, and while the multi-talent previously announced his plans to retire, he’s coming through with another album for us soon. He announced the title of his upcoming project, INSANO, while experimenting with a new sound on his “Porsche Topless” single. Since then, Cudi has steadily shared more updates with fans, even dropping a major one while performing at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash event.

“We got some new joints on this new album, ‘INSANO’ coming out later on in a couple months,” the How To Make It An America actor told his audience. By “we,” he meant The Scotts, consisting of him and Travis Scott, who previously found success with their self-titled single in 2020. After that track blew up they had plans to release a joint album. However, it never came to be as Cudi ultimately declared that “the moment has passed” when answering questions about the LP in 2022.

Travis Scott is Working with His Idol Once Again

At Summer Smash the 39-year-old was sure to give the Houston native his flowers. “You know I feel like why I’m doing these shows right now, I gotta be out here repping for my guy and this s**t is for Trav,” Cudi declared. As HipHopDX reports, “Mr. Rager” has hinted that his next project could be his last under his stage moniker. In addition to that, he also believes that it has the potential to be the “album of the year,” if his predictions are accurate, that is.

Excitement is high for Kid Cudi’s INSANO project, no doubt about it, but what’s really got hip-hop head’s buzzing is Travis Scott’s UTOPIA. The project will follow his Grammy-nominated Astroworld album and marks his comeback from the deadly festival he hosted in Houston a few years back. Kid Cudi Announces The Title Of His New Album

Kid Cudi, who had been dropping hints about retiring, doesn’t seem so hellbent on it anymore. The rapper-turned-actor has been building anticipation for his “final” album since last year. Despite gaining acclaim in the rap industry since his breakthrough hit “Day ‘n’ Nite” in 2007, the 39-year-old artist is allegedly saying goodbye to his experimental contributions to hip-hop. The album is scheduled for release later this year, and Cudi previously confirmed that he will release the first track of this “powerful” album on June 1st. During a recent Instagram live session on March 9th, the Ohio native further teased his ninth solo album. He expressed his immense excitement and assured fans that they will deeply resonate with the music.

Although Cudi’s current studio work is driven by contractual obligations to Republic Records, he has poured his passion and dedication into this current project. Talking to fans about it, he proudly said that this album is the most powerful work he has ever created. He also said that he is confident that it will profoundly move listeners. “I just wanted to get on here and just let y’all know that I’m not gonna let y’all down,” he said. “This is gonna be the album of the year right now, I’m not playing. This is not a f*cking joke. Tell everybody you fucking know, ok?” Today, we got our first taste of the new album. Cudi also dropped the new title.

Cudi’s New Album is Called “INSANO”

Today, Kid Cudi dropped the first single from his new album. The track is called “Porsche Topless.” The rapper brings his energetic and wild side to the forefront in the song, with fantastic synth-heavy production and skillful navigation of the beat. The lyrics boldly declare his status as the GOAT while embracing a summer-like party atmosphere. This track will definitely help build further anticipation among fans for the forthcoming album release. However, the project’s exact release date remains unknown. Cudi did have one more surprise for fans today though. Earlier today, he took to Twitter to reveal the title and logo of the new album.

In a tweet sent out this morning, Cudi simply said, “Album is called INSANO. The world is not ready…” Along with the tweet, he posted a graphic of the album title logo. It features the word INSANO in scratchy green font on a dark pink background. Fans expressed their excitement in the replies. Although there is still no release date set for the full album, Cudi has plenty to keep himself busy with. What do you think of the new album title? Let us know in the comments below!
