Drake turned 38 earlier this week, and as expected, he went all out with his celebrations. For one, he celebrated alongside some friends and family in Houston. He previewed new music and enjoyed a massive cake shaped like his birth year. After that, he turned up at the strip club Area 29, passing out several stacks of cash.

These aren’t the only ways Drake celebrated, however. In a new clip making its rounds online, he’s also seen going head-to-head with Omarion in a dance battle. It’s clear that they both gave it their all, though it’s unconfirmed which one of them came out on top. Either way, it looks like they had fun, as did everyone watching.

Fans are glad to see Drake making the most of his birthday festivities and are pretty impressed with his dance moves. “Can never make me hate Drake!” one Instagram user writes in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. “Drake just be out here living his life,” another notes. Obviously, it’s been a rough year for the Toronto hitmaker, but it doesn’t look like he’s let that stop him from having fun.

Drake turns 38 years old today, and as expected, the Toronto rapper went all out for his birthday celebration this week. In new clips making their rounds online, he’s seen partying at Houston strip club Area 29. He went big too, handing out multiple stacks of cash for the dancers to throw on themselves as they performed.

Obviously, it was a good night for everyone involved. The strip club wasn’t the only way Drizzy celebrated, however. He hosted another event as well, which was attended by even more of his friends and family. They sang to him, brought out a massive cake in the shape of his birth year, and more. Drake also previewed some unreleased music at the birthday bash, which quickly spread on Twitter/X.

One of the songs he played is reportedly titled “Plot Twist.” Some social media users insist they heard a Kendrick Lamar jab somewhere towards the end of the snippet, though this is unconfirmed. Either way, it’s clear that he’s making the most of his special day, as are his fans and peers. Earlier today, for example, Sexyy Red took to Instagram to share a sweet series of photos of the two of them together. Her post arrived alongside a heartfelt caption. “Happy Birthday to one of the nicest most humblest person I kno LOVE U BD ENJOY YO MONTH,” she wrote.

Almost immediately, her post prompted speculation that they’re more than just collaborators, though this is also unconfirmed. According to multiple reports, Beyonce is planning to attend Kamala Harris’ rally tomorrow (October 25). The rally is set to take place in the songstress’ hometown of Houston, TX. At the time of writing, it remains unclear whether she’ll perform, address the room, or simply watch the Democratic candidate deliver one of her last speeches before election day on November 5.

The DNC’s event posting for the rally has already confirmed that Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, as well as Willie Nelson, will be in attendance. This is far from the first time Beyonce has been linked to Kamala Harris, however.

Back in August, it was rumored that she’d appear at the Democratic National Convention, which didn’t end up happening. According to Billboard, some event staffers were even led to falsely believe that she was on the premises. Beyonce’s song “Freedom” has also been used heavily throughout Harris’ campaign. Over the summer, CNN confirmed that she was given direct approval from Beyonce to use the song.

Bey won’t be the first female celebrity to support Harris at a campaign event either. In July, Megan Thee Stallion also performed at her rally in Georgia. However, it finally came to a head this past year with some scathing diss tracks. “Like That” started it all off and “Push-Ups” soon followed. “Euphoria” escalated things and on the night of May 3rd, history was made. “Family Matters” sent shockwaves throughout the hip-hop world. Meanwhile, “Meet The Grahams” completely stopped everyone in their tracks.

The following day, Kendrick Lamar dropped another nuke with “Not Like Us.” Since then, “Not Like Us” has become the defining song of the entire beef. It has been the number-one song in the entire world for a few weeks now and the momentum isn’t stopping. However, there seems to be at least one city that isn’t loving the track’s recent love fest. According to some anecdotes out of Houston, it would appear as though the song has been banned by certain establishments.

Kendrick Lamar Has Some Clubs Shutting The Door

While it is unclear why this is the case, some have tried to point the finger at Drake himself. After all, Drizzy is known for being a frequent visitor in Houston. Moreover, he has ties to J Prince, who has quite a bit of influence over there. However, nothing is confirmed and there is no evidence pointing in any direction. Megan Thee Stallion Launches Relief Program For Houston Senior Citizens After Hurricane Beryl

Hurricane Beryl recently ravaged her hometown of Houston, killing at least 18 people and leaving millions of others without power. According to the Houston Chronicle, six lives were lost due to “heat exposure during the loss of power.”

Now, Meg and her Pete And Thomas Foundation have teamed up with Bread Of Life, Inc. to help out senior citizens impacted by future natural disasters. They’ve partnered to launch the Emergency Power Program, to provide Houston’s elderly population with generators. She shared a powerful statement about the program earlier this week.

DJ Screw is easily one of Houston’s most beloved legends. For those who may not know, Screw is the inventor of the “chopped & screwed” sound. Overall, he pioneered an entire scene and inspired artists like Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and many more. Furthermore, he helped found the Screwed Up Click. Sometimes, members of the group would come over to his house to record freestyles. On June 27, 1996, Big Moe, Key-C, Yungstar, Big Pokey, DeMo, Haircut Joe, and Kay-Luv helped record a 35-minute freestyle. Appropriately, the epic collaboration was called “June 27.”

Throughout the freestyle, we get DJ Screw’s signature production style. Slowed-down and syrupy instrumentals help bolster the freestyle’s seven-artist roster. Each MC brings their own flare to the song, but everyone is laidback which helps make the song feel like some sort of kickback. It’s a demonstration of what makes Houston hip-hop so special.
