There is little doubt that your work will be seen by your peers if it has already been aired on BET and MTV. RealmuzikSK has been doing a lot of that recently, so it’s no surprise that Yung Bleu chose to jump on board with his latest EP, Up A Level.

The EP comes with a video for “Pain,” which features both Yung Bleu and RealmuzikSK this tune in particular is a standout song, taking listeners through a breakup story about betrayal and the agony that comes with it.

Realmuzik, a native of Amite City, Louisiana, has had a rocky road, having encountered homelessness after dropping out of school at the age of 16. He has faced the anguish and battle to subsist while pursuing a musical career rather than a formal degree, yet despite this, he creates Hip Hop that truly reaches the soul.

“My upbringing played a major role in who I am today,” he says. “Lessons I learned from family, the streets and people in my circle are very valuable to who I am.”

Up A Level captures that feeling and includes three tracks that demonstrate his limitless potential. With Pit Bull, Mo3, K. Michelle, Shaggy, Johnny Taylor, Wiz Khalifa, and Rick Ross as influences, the EP is an example of an artist running his own race, and with Yung Bleu in the mix, Realmuzik is bound to come out on top.

The Game to young rappers advice

The Game has been in the news lately, doubling down on his lyrical abilities. He’s event went as far as saying that he could out-duel Eminem in a verzuz battle. That verzuz battle is probably not happening, but the Game’s bars will still be on display on June 17th when he drops his new album.

Pusha T Declares ‘It’s Almost Dry’ The Best Rap Album Of 2022

pusha t grailed pushas purge closet sale

We’re already halfway through 2022, and so far, this has been a pretty exciting year for rap music. Lists have already begun to come out of the best albums of the year so far, and there are two albums that people have universally considered for that top spot: Pusha-T’s It’s Almost Dry and Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

It’s no doubt that these were both fantastic projects in their rights. While Kendrick has stayed quiet since the release of his project, Pusha-T has been on tour, and during his stop in Los Angeles on Tuesday, he took the time to declare It’s Almost Dry “Rap Album of the Motherf*cking Year.”

However, this is not the first time King Push has referred to his recent effort. During his press run for the album, he would say that It’s Almost Dry would be rap album of the year. In an interview with Complex earlier this year with Pusha’s manager Steven Victor, Push referred to the album as the best rap album. He added that “ain’t nothing fucking with it” once all the production on the album was finished and said that he was “on some one thousand rap superhero sh*t.”

Following the release of his fourth solo album, Push said in an interview with GQ that he’s already working on his next album. He played a snippet of a finished song, adding that this is a new era for him, then likening himself to Biggie when he switched his flow and persona between 1994 and 1997.

“This is a new era for me, for sure,” Push said. “Don’t you hear the flows, you hear the tones, you hear the character? Listen, remember what Big sounded like in ’94?…Then he turned to the [smoother] Frank White persona by ’96. By ’97 it was full blown. And by the time the transformation is done [my craft] will be mastered and ready. You’ll have a niche product.”

Even though we still have six more months of the year, trying to top It’s Almost Dry will not be an easy feat.

Rick Ross Criticizes People Who Beg For Handouts, “Why The F*ck Aren’t You Working?”

Rick Ross Reveals Codeine Abuse Caused Seizures

Rick Ross is known for being “The Boss” due to his persona and successful business ventures outside of hip hop. Rozay had some pretty blunt words of advice for those who beg for handouts, saying that begging will get you nowhere in life.

Ross took to Instagram earlier this week to share his thoughts on people who beg for handouts, calling them “f*cked up” and detached from reality.

“I already know how it go. That’s why I go hard because I know how it go,” Ross said. “You could be in a room full of the wealthiest mutherf*ckas in the world and tell them, ‘I have nothing, I’m hungry.’ And they’re going to look at you and say, ‘Well what the f*ck are you doing standing next to me begging? Why the f*ck aren’t you working?’”

Ross continued, saying, “What the f*ck have you established? What have you done with yourself since the f*cking beginning of time? Where’s your brother, where’s your mother, where’s your father, where’s your f*ckin’ kinfolk? You don’t have any friends? You don’t have anything to establish yourself or worth something in anyone’s life?’ That’s what they’re going to tell you. So, if you think begging is going to get you something, you f*cked up.”

Ross definitely went in and ruffled the feathers of some people. His comments were met with mixed reactions while some users on social media agreed with his message and others took offense to it. Waka Flocka was one of the people who disagreed with Ross’ message.

“But where’s the morality?” Waka commented under the video.

Omari Hardwick Says He Was Paid $150k Per Episode On “Power”

Omari Hardwick Recalls Denzel Washington and His Wife Taking Him in As Their Own Son During Early Days of His Career

Power might’ve been one of the most popular shows on tv until its original un-ended in early 2020, but with the success of its many spinoffs, it has continued to be one of the most popular shows on tv. Despite the show’s success, Omari Hardwick, who rose to fame after playing James St. Patrick, recently revealed how much he made per episode and how he even had to borrow money from 50 Cent at one point.

Hardwick appeared on The Pivot podcast where he revealed that he was not earning what he thought he should have been earning. “I still haven’t made what I should have made. I still never made the money—no, the money, I never made what I should have made. Never,” Hardwick said. “Period. It’s happening now, finally.” He noted that he fianlly felt like he made it when he landed the role in Power.

Hardwick then went into detail about how he was borrowing money from 50 Cent in the summers after the first and second seasons of Power. “He gave me $20,000 and the next summer he gave me $23,000,” Hardwick said, adding that he might’ve done it because of how much he adored Hardwick’s wife, Jennifer, and their two kids. “He might like them more than me. It was absolutely given in a way of, like, you know take care of the family bro, use that,” Hardwick added.

Hardwick went on to say how even by the show’s 6th and final season, he “never” go the salary he wanted. “How much do you think I made a week? An episode,” he asked the hosts. One guessed around $150,000 per episode. “You got it right, yeah,” he replied. “First time I’ve ever disclosed it.”

Mo’Nique Responds to D.L. Hughley and Drags Steve Harvey Into the Feud

Mo'nique's Lawsuit Against Netflix is Moving Forward

It is unclear when the feud between D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique will end. Over the weekend, the two took to social media to show their contracts to prove who was supposed to be the headliner at the comedy show in Detroit. On Tuesday, D.L. took to his radio show to clear the air, calling Mo’Nique an “occupational hazard” and saying that he was warned about Mo’Nique but decided to give her a chance to grace the stage.

Mo’Nique has since responded in an Instagram video where she takes more shots at D.L. and explains why she brought Steve Harvey into their feud.

“There was nothing that was said about your wife, your family. It was directed specifically to you,” Mo’Nique. She added: “Saturday night, D.L. Hughley was going to get his ass handed to him because, through the years, I’ve heard this man have a lot to say about me.”

Mo’Nique added that she wanted D.L. to be there while she continuously threw him under the bus. She brought Steve Harvey into the mix because he and D.L. Hughley lied about her during a radio interview.

She also disputed claims that audience members were frustrated with her spending her set talking and Hughley and the contract dispute.

You can watch the hour-long video here.
