Patti LaBelle Wants to Collaborate with Cardi B for Her New Album ‘8065’

Patti Labelle wants to make music with Cardi B. The 80-year-old icon revealed that she will drop a new album and wants to work with Bardi ASAP.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Patti said Cardi is “one of my new best friends.”

“It should be out at the end of this year and it’s called 8065,” Patti said of her album. “I’m 80 years young and 65 years in show business.”

Kicking off the 80th year, LaBelle attended a surprise blowout party in New York City on May 23rd. The event, held at The Glasshouse in Manhattan, was attended by a star-studded lineup of friends, family, and VIPs.

Kerry Washington Joins Cast of ‘Knives Out 3’ Alongside Daniel Craig

Kerry Washington has joined the cast of Knives Out 3, officially titled “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” at Netflix. She joins a star-studded cast that includes Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, and Andrew Scott, alongside returning lead Daniel Craig.

Deadline first reported the news, and details about the plot and characters are being kept under wraps.

Rian Johnson returns as writer and director for the film and is producing alongside Ram Bergman. Production is expected to begin soon.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Johnson announced the film’s title and expressed his enthusiasm for the whodunit genre: “I love everything about whodunnits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and exploring that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies.”

This project adds to Washington’s busy schedule, which includes Netflix’s “Six Triple Eight” and Lionsgate’s “Shadow Force,” both in post-production. She also stars in and executive produces Hulu’s Onyx Collective comedy “UnPrisoned.”

The Diddy and Yung Miami relationship was one of the more high profile affairs in recent Hip-Hop history. During their romance, the Caresha Please podcast emerged on Revolt and in an episode, Miami claimed to receive golden showers.

Now, she claiming that it was all for content and she is not the sexual toilet of anyone. “Wait so you aren’t our pee queen?” a fan asked on X. Evoking the response, “Absolutely not!”

Addressing another fan she wrote, “I was playing! A nigga NEVER EVER PEE’D on me! I did that to promote my card game & it did exactly what I needed to do!!”

The Golden Shower fiasco took over the timeline and had Twitter users dub the Bad Boy mogul Pee Diddy.

On an episode of Caresha Please with guest star Trina, Yung Miami revealed that she likes golden showers. “I don’t know, it just do something to me,” Miami said, leading many to believe that was a practice between her and Diddy.

In an interview with The Cut, Yung Miami provides a bit of clarification.

“I never said he was the one I did that with,” she said. “Sex is a part of life. I’m grown, and maybe I talk about it too much, but everybody’s got their personal experiences. Some people get sh-tted on. Some people live life on the edge, some people boring as f-ck. I watch a lot of porn, b-tches get peed on. If we grown and we in the house just chilling and want to talk about sex, what’s wrong with that?”

The rapper just shared her reaction to a recent episode of South Park that satirized the Ozempic weight loss drug craze by using her name and body positivity brand as an alternative solution. On Friday (May 24), the animated comedy series released “The End of Obesity” on Paramount+. In the episode, South Park character Eric Cartman seeks a prescription for Ozempic to lose weight, but when he can’t afford the drug and his insurance won’t cover it, his doctor offers an unconventional solution … Called LIZZO. Wild.

“I’m going to write you a prescription for Lizzo,” the doctor says in the episode. “She’s a really good singer who talks about body positivity, and just being happy with the way you look. I want you to listen to Lizzo five times a day, and watch her videos just before bedtime. I’m afraid you’ll have to be on Lizzo for the rest of your life.”

In seemingly all good fun, Lizzo used the joke to her advantage and responded to the episode with a TikTok video in which she watches a portion of the episode. “That’s crazy. I just feel like, damn, I’m really that b—-,” she says in the video. “I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f— to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f— I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.”

On a more serious note, Lizzo recently discussed her mental health amid ongoing lawsuits and public criticism. “I’m the happiest I’ve been in 10 months,” she wrote on Instagram. “The strange thing about depression is you don’t know you’re in it until you’re out of it. I’m definitely not all the way as carefree as I used to be.. But the dark cloud that followed me every day is finally clearing up. My smile reaches my eyes again and that’s a win. I thought my album was finished.. but I gotta get some of these good vibes off in a banger real quick. Thanks for your patience.”

Lizzo also faced scrutiny over the past year due to a harassment lawsuit filed by three former dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, in August 2023. The lawsuit accuses Lizzo and her company, Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc., of various legal wrongdoings and includes detailed allegations.
