Last week, JT and GloRilla first engaged in what would become a massive Twitter beef. The fiery exchange has seen the pair arguing about an huge variety of things. In one moment the City Girls’ rapper claimed that GloRilla had absolutely no sex appeal. They’ve also gone back and forth over a story about Glo allegedly hitting her with a purse. But even as JT has been making up with other people she beefed with online like Saucy Santana and Yung Miami, she doesn’t seem to be letting up on Glo.

Earlier today a fan caught her liking a tweet that definitely spoke on how she feels about the beef. “JT been supported and showed each girl love! but they forget that when they get to tweeting & make her look crazy” the tweet she liked reads. It popped up in the rapper’s likes and fans quickly took notice. In an Instagram post sharing the tweet she liked, fans largely took her side. “i mean she liked a truthful tweet” and “Jt also congratulated Glo on going top 10! JT Still Showing Hostility To GloRilla

Earlier this week, GloRilla was in attendance at the CMT Awards. While on the red carpet she was asked about the ongoing beef. “Ehhhthang just always Ehhhthang, and at the end of the day, that day gon’ motherf***ing end,” she said in response to a question about why she had to go in so hard on the City Girls rapper.

GloRilla was at the 2024 CMT Music Awards last night (Sunday, April 7), popping out for a surprise appearance amid her brand-new project Ehhhthang Ehhhthang. However, during a red carpet interview, it seems like she suddenly had a lot more to talk about when the interviewer in question brought up some drama she was involved in recently. “Why did you feel the need to pop off on JT so hard?” they asked the Memphis MC. “Ehhhthang just always Ehhhthang, and at the end of the day, that day gon’ motherf***ing end,” she responded, adding another reference to her new mixtape when the interviewer told her she was telling the truth.

Then, they quickly changed the subject to her Megan Thee Stallion collab “Wanna Be,” picking up on the response’s suggestion that GloRilla didn’t really want to talk about it. For those unaware, she and the City Girl created a pretty nasty Twitter spat over this past weekend that started as a discussion over alleged sneak dissing. Previously, fans took note of a verbal argument between them, and found various reports alleging altercations at an awards show. While JT denied that they ever got physical, she wasn’t happy with the “Yeah Glo!” spitter addressing their strained relationship on Ehhhthang Ehhhthang.

Regardless, GloRilla clapped back at her with force, explaining that she already buried her hatchet and that she’s the one who’s keeping the negative energy up. In fact, JT spoke on being willing to go back to jail over this feud on the social media platform. As such, Glo’s call for femcee unity didn’t hit her target audience as well as she may have hoped, and she seemed to reciprocate that energy at first. Now, though, with this red carpet interview in mind, it seems like she’d rather not make it a salient point.

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t phrased by Instagram’s stern warning over posting NSFW content. To prove how unfazed she is, Meg has put her “best ass on Instagram” title on the line for an open twerk challenge.

Yesterday (April 6), the entertainer took to her official page to announce the competition. “IG after dark LOL,” she wrote. “And nobody better not challenge me because this the best ass on Instagram 🤪. Or, if you think so, tag me in your video 😂. Stream ‘Wanna Be.’”

So far, only two brave souls have come forward to battle it out. The first submission came from Baddies producer Natalie Nunn. Users online didn’t quite feel that attempt.

But the fitness model Scotty’s clip has users online ready to crown a winner.

“I’m afraid she already won.”

Now, Meg’s followers are attempting to tag others into the challenge. The names thrown around so far include SZA and Uproxx cover star Chlöe. However, the “FYS” singer laughed off supporters request. “I’m afraid she already won 😭,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

The only person who could potentially compete with Meg is her “Wap” collaborator, Cardi B. This could motivate Cardi to redeem herself from the last zero-rated twerk video she released.

Saweetie Responds To Accidentally “Picking A Side” In GloRilla & JT Beef

Saweetie is well-known for her unbothered responses on social media, even when they might accidentally relate to beef between fellow femcees. Moreover, she recently liked a tweet from JT about her previous mugshots which left one blank, indicating that she’s down to go back to jail over her current beef with GloRilla. It was a short-lived social media spat between the two over the weekend with no follow-up so far, which could change very soon. When a fan pointed out that the Los Angeles native “accidentally supported something in the middle of a fight,” she had this to say: “who I’m fighting?”

As such, it seems like she either didn’t check the rest of her timeline before the like or didn’t really think it would be that big of a deal. Either way, assuming a Twitter like means you’re out for blood over another’s opponent is a pretty silly and presumptuous idea. After all, Saweetie is probably a little too busy right now with her own career moves to worry about what everyone else is doing all the time. For example, she teased a new single, “Nani,” that has some fans predicting it as a guaranteed summer smash.

Meanwhile, this would be a pretty big follow-up to some other interesting releases and collaborations as of late, such as “Khutti” with Punjabi MC Diljit Donsanjh. With each passing week, it seems like Saweetie is prepping for a really big 2024, and it looks like she doesn’t want anything to do with the current wave of femcee beef this year. Of course, this could all change very soon, but she’s never really been that type of artist in the first place, at least beyond fan theories. We wouldn’t really put any money on it, though.

Another recently shut-down rumor concerning the Icy Girl was her split from YG, something they were quick to dispel with a joint Rolling Loud L.A. appearance. With all this in mind, let’s hope that the rumor mill slows down at least a little bit throughout the year. Or at least, that she’ll stay just as cozily unaffected. Megan Thee Stallion is sending fans into a frenzy again on Instagram, this time with a video of her twerking to her new GloRilla collab, “Wanna Be.” “IG after dark lol and nobody better not challenge me bc this the best a** on IG,” she captioned her video. “or if you think so tag me in your video [crying-laughing emoji] stream WANNA BE.” Not only that, but the Houston MC also tagged some of her friends in the comments, challenging them to one-up her skills. “you win!!!!” Chloe Bailey wrote under the clip, whereas Big Glo had this to say in two separate comments: “Omggggggggg… I’m posting mine tomorrow you gmfu.”

Of course, this is par the course for a lot of Megan Thee Stallion’s dancing prowess online, and more importantly, it’s tied to a pretty solid banger. She might evoke the lust of many a thirsty social media user, but in 2024, it’s been clear that her comeback won’t slouch on the artistic tip. With singles like “Cobra” and “HISS” under the 29-year-old’s belt already, her lyrical and performance prowess on these cuts was a treat for fans to witness. However, there have also been recent indications that this side of Megan Thee Stallion, the throw-it-back queen, might not take center stage on her next full-length. “How many songs do y’all feel like y’all wanna hear on this album?” she asked fans during a recent Instagram Live session. “In my mind, I was thinking 14, but I keep recording songs that’s so good! The first 20 songs I had, I’m just straight rapping. And then I started being in a better mood, so it’s like feel-good songs, and then I got in a ratchet mood because you know it’s about to be summertime!

“I just remember how y’all used to really whack me for making pop that a** music,” Thee Stallion continued. “I really wanted to get on y’all’s a**es and show y’all how bad I can rap, so I really haven’t been in touch with my roots. I’m trying to see if y’all wanna pop that a**, what it’s giving?” Apparently, her pen is making a strong return on her next album either way, and that’s more exciting than anything. This year in rap, there have already been several monumental lyrical run-ins. First, Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj exchanged jabs on wax. Then Metro Boomin, Future, and Kendrick Lamar aimed at Drake and J. Cole. After a heated conversation online, GloRilla and JT could be next.

Following the release of GloRilla’s mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, a rumor started by media personality Armon Wiggins resurfaced. Wiggins claimed GloRilla had gotten into an altercation with JT. On “Aite,” GloRilla attempted to shut the gossip down, but it backfired.

Did GloRilla Slap JT?

In October 2023, Wiggins took to his YouTube channel, alleging that GloRilla had an unfriendly encounter with JT backstage at the VMA Awards. The now-private video by the Tea-GIF co-host sparked an uproar amongst the rappers’ fans. GloRilla’s line “Slapping rap b*tches and making bail hoe” on “Yeah Glo!” only furthered the flames.

According to JT, the incident never happened. JT disputed the claim on X during an exchange with Female Rap Room.

“I been said she didn’t,” she wrote. “[GloRilla is] the one who went radio silent! [She] played into it and released a song about slapping rap b*tches. Now, it’s female unity? CORNY!”

In a now-deleted post, GloRilla refuted JT’s response. Although she agreed that she did not slap JT, she claimed they were involved in a scuffle. “What you want me to say,” she said. “I didn’t slap you? But I hit you with a purse instead. Scary ass ho.”

Based on this online exchange, GloRilla didn’t slap JT. However, the public opinion court is still unsure what to believe.

Yung Miami Still Silent During JT & GloRilla Feud, Fans Question Her Absence

Did someone slip some Haterade into every rapper under the sun’s morning cups of coffee or are they all just hunting for necks in 2024? As if Meg versus Nicki and the Big Three battle wasn’t enough, now there’s another apparent beef ramping up in the hip-hop world, and it’s ironically over accusations of subliminal dissing. This time around, it’s between JT and GloRilla, who had a fiery back-and-forth on Twitter recently and dismissed each other’s careers, looks, clout, and more. However, folks online are also pointing to a curious omission over the past 24 hours or so: a lack of a defense from the other half of the City Girls.

Moreover, a lot of people called Yung Miami out for her silence on JT, although this is curiously contradictory. If you’re reading this from the comfort of the rock you live under, Miami has serious allegations tied to her when it comes to the Diddy situation, and both City Girls have stayed pretty mute on the matter. As such, a lot of people expressed that there really isn’t an open debt here when it comes to the duo sticking up for each other. In addition, there’s also the important point of people not needing others to defend them, as they can handle that on their own.

Still, a lot of folks wonder whether these instances are just unfortunately timed events or if they represent a pattern of the City Girls drifting apart. After all, a lot of their recent movement comprised of solo work, and while that’s never a bad thing, it’s also uncommon to have a duo pivot so hard without an acknowledgement of it. But for the most part, it seems like these rumors don’t really apply to Yung Miami and JT. For example, they just dropped their latest album last year, so it’s more likely than not that they just want to spread their wings a little bit.

Meanwhile, these individual runs resulted in plenty of great opportunities and moments for both femcees, such as JT’s Doechii collab “Alter Ego” and Yung Miami’s time with fellow female artists. With this in mind, we’re sure that they’re just keeping things close to the chest and not feeling pressured to always move in unison. Today, GRAMMY-nominated artist GloRilla (CMG/Interscope Records) releases her highly-anticipated, new mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, which boasts big-name features, ranging from her long-awaited collaboration with Grammy-Award Winning artist Megan The Stallion on “Wanna Be” to her team-up with CMG running-mate MoneyBagg Yo on “All Dere”

Along with the release of Ehhthang, Ehhthang, GloRilla and Megan unleash the video for “Wanna Be.” The girls take over the frat house with no repercussions, pouring our shots and partying until the wee hours of the morning in the visual directed by Benny Boom.

GloRilla’s momentum is peaking, as she prepares for a fiery summer run, especially after presenting TLC with the Landmark Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. She also enjoyed viral moments from press interviews, including captivating conversations with Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay Podcast and Tamron Hall on her nationally televised, The Tamron Hall Show.

Glo’s new offering comes after the CMG upstart made her return earlier this year with “Yeah Glo!” The song continues to rise on the Billboard Hot 100, recently peaking at No. 35 and getting the attention of President Joe Biden, who invited her to the White House for a Women’s History Month in March.

Prior to receiving acknowledgement from the President, GloRilla also recently received a co-sign from Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, who played her hit song in a viral workout video. The pair ended up meeting shortly thereafter at a Lakers game.

The new mixtapefollows the release of her celebrated 2022 EP Anyways, Life’s Great, which featured her blockbuster hits “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” and “Tomorrow 2.”

GloRilla And JT Went Full Scorched Earth In A Series Of Posts Online Following The Release Of ‘Aite’ Igniting A New Rap Beef

It appears another feud in rap has risen to the surface. After expressing her wish for Cardi B and Nicki Minaj to end their longstanding beef, GloRilla unintentionally found herself in a dust-up.

Yesterday (April 5), the “Wanna Be” rapper’s new mixtape Ehhthang Ehhthang hit streaming platforms. On the track “Aite,” GloRilla attempted to kill off a rumor that she and City Girls’ JT had tension by rapping, “I just pray one day the bad b*tches would come together / ‘Cause Cardi and Nicki on a track would break some f*ckin’ records / Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin’ / Know b*tches always hatin’ and that they keep a secret.”

However, JT didn’t take kindly to being mentioned on the record. In a response on X (formerly Twitter), the musician took a moment to deny claims that she and GloRilla were involved in a physical altercation, which is at the root of the beef rumors. “I been said she didn’t,” she wrote. “[GloRilla is] the one who went radio silent! [She] played into it and released a song about slapping rap b*tches. Now, it’s female unity? CORNY!”
