Freddie Gibbs Accused Of Domestic Violence By Pregnant Ex-Girlfriend: A Break Down Of Allegations & Receipts

On February 14, 2024, Indiana-born rapper Freddie Gibbs introduced the world to his girlfriend, Jasmine Grenaway, a model and social media influencer. The post was symbolic, coming on Valentine’s Day, and meant the lovebirds were truly committed to each other. Freddie and Jasmine’s relationship marked a new beginning for the rapper, given his experience with his ex-girlfriend, Fit Miami. Freddie and Fit seemed to be a perfect couple until she allegedly got pregnant. According to Fit, Freddie didn’t want the pregnancy and asked her to get an abortion. Taking the matter to the public via social media, Fit alleged that Freddie ghosted her after her pregnancy and never checked on her to confirm if she went ahead with the abortion or not.

While there was no confirmation of Fit’s claims, another pregnancy seems to be the beginning of the end of his relationship with Jasmine. Recently, Jasmine took to social media to accuse him of domestic violence. The new allegations brought unwanted attention toward Freddie, who eventually denied Jasmine’s allegations with alleged receipts. Here is all we know about the drama between Freddie Gibbs and his ex-girlfriend Jasmine Grenaway so far.

How It All Began

On May 10, Jasmine took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share several tweets, which she has since deleted. Firstly, she shared a picture of a positive pregnancy test, claiming she was carrying Freddie Gibbs’s child. Jasmine captioned the post, “Happy early Mother’s Day to me! Y’all go tell Freddie Gibbs congratulations.” In another post, Jasmine shared that people warned her to stay away from Freddie but she didn’t listen. She wrote, “I’m not above mistakes. I’ll admit, I should’ve listened to the warnings from everyone. But, here I am, I’m a real a** b**ch so I’ll take that on the chin. A sucka I am not tho.”

Not long after, Jasmine made another post. However, this time, it was with more serious allegations against Freddie. She shared four images of herself that showed her with bruises and marks, implying that Freddie hurt her physically. In the post’s caption, she wrote, “Now that that’s out of the way, here’s to the more serious part.” Later, Jasmine added, “Why are y’all acting so confused? I said Freddie Gibbs put his hands on me, which left scars and bruises, then I found out I was pregnant and he won’t help me get the abortion bc he knows the risk due to my medical history of having cervical/ovarian tumors and a laparatomy. Like…”

Jasmine Continues With Her Rampage On X

Having gained some attention with her tweets, Jasmine continued her offensive against Freddie Gibbs. She posted, “Dangerous in the booth, but not in the streets,” along with a flurry of laughing emojis. When a fan replied to one of Jasmine’s posts, calling Freddie a “FREAKY A** N***A” and a “BABY MAKING GOD,” she responded with several laughing emojis. Later, she threatened to take Freddie to court, posting, “See me? I’ma take the ponk to court.” When another person on X told Jasmine she should have gone to the police after Freddie allegedly laid hands on her, she claimed that the police arrived at the scene. The X user then asked Jasmine why the police didn’t arrest Freddie. She replied, “They literally held me down in a room while I was shouting ‘help, it’s domestic.’ And the police did not hear me. SMH. But I was still able to file charges.”

However, Jasmine surprisingly deleted all the posts she made, much to people’s bewilderment. After deleting the posts, she shared a video of herself and captioned it, “Here’s some beauty to brighten the day. I hope y’all enjoyed my exposé of my abuser. I’ll handle the rest of the matter privately. I have to focus on my children and my mental health. 😘 be back soon.”

Freddie Gibbs Responds To Jasmine

Jasmine generated much attention with her actions and people began questioning Freddie on social media. The rapper seemingly responded to Jasmine’s accusations against him by tweeting, “The devil is a lie my n***a.” However, Jasmine continued with her onslaught against Freddie, causing him to share screenshots of alleged text messages between them that he believed showed his innocence. In the first screenshot Freddie shared, Jasmine apologized to him for her behavior. The second screenshot showed him accusing her of “swinging” at him, to which she replied, “Yes because I was abused for real.” Freddie also accused Jasmine of disrespecting him, and she replied, “I did not know I did that. I would never do that to you.”

Freddie also shared screenshots of alleged text messages between him and Jasmine’s mother and her uncle. In the screenshots, Jasmine’s mom said it was unacceptable for her daughter to make such claims and emphasized that she didn’t think Freddie did anything to her. She also claimed that Jasmine locked her out. Meanwhile, Jasmine’s uncle said he and her mom were on the same page, and Jasmine was trying to extort money from Freddie, whose net worth is about $5 million as of January 2024. Freddie replied, “yep and my lawyer got all the text and I recorded her.” Jasmine’s uncle responded, “I mean…do goofy shit win goofy prizes. My sister and I both agree if she takes this social she may lose us.”

Freddie Gibbs shared more screenshots of his alleged chats with Jasmine. In one of them, Jasmine admitted she had a temper because of all the abuse she endured in her life. She also apologized for her actions and professed her love for Freddie.

Jasmine Responds To Freddie Gibbs’ Screenshots

After Freddie posted the screenshots of his alleged chats with Jasmine, she remained defiant. The social media influencer posted, “I am not a slave to public opinion. Truth is truth. Nobody is more disappointed in me than myself. So y’all can defend my abuser if that’s what you want to do.” She added, “I truly don’t want sympathy. I just had to share my story. The info is yours now and y’all should do as you please with it. We’ve all been dumb before, I just chose to share. I’m not ashamed. I’m human.” In another X post, Jasmine insinuated she was done addressing the issue on social media as she wrote, “Gone.”

Not long after, she returned to X to make more allegations against Freddie. Firstly, she called his text message screenshots “fake receipts.” Later, she suggested she had taken the matter to court, writing, “Let’s just let the rest play out in court. Charges filed.” Jasmine also warned Freddie not to lay his hands on her again. She wrote, “And guess what? If Freddie Gibbs puts his hands on me again, I’ll snap another finger. This mf won’t be able to hold the mic. Shows cancelled.” She added in another post, “I know that ain’t the same boy who told me had Benny shot in Texas and killed Jim Jones friend trying to act like I abused him.” It should be noted that there isn’t any evidence to corroborate such claims. Jasmine has since deleted all her tweets, causing many to wonder what her motives really are. Also, Freddie is yet to respond to her again after sharing the screenshots. We’ll keep you posted on any more developments regarding the situation.

Madlib Teases New Collab Album With Freddie Gibbs: “Montana Next Up”

Madlib has one of the varied careers in all of hip-hop. He’s so versatile, in fact, that much of his music doesn’t even fit within the genre’s constraints. The thing that makes him a hall of fame producer, though, is his ability to bring the best out of rappers. Madvillainy is considered by many to be the high water mark for MF Doom, and the same goes for Pinata and Freddie Gibbs. Madlib knows how to make them sound immaculate, which is why fans are so excited for his reunion with the latter.

Madlib’s eccentric production and Freddie Gibbs’ gruff delivery has made magic twice over. Pinata and Bandana are as critically acclaimed as hip-hop albums can be. Pinata, in particular, is so celebrated that the duo recently put on shows to commemorate its tenth anniversary. Madlib and Gibbs (aka MadGibbs) were at New York City’s Rooftop on May 11, and they took the opportunity to drop a bombshell on those who were attending. The short and long of it is that MadGibbs has another album in the works. The title will follow the single word ending in “A” template of the first two.

Madlib Confirmed “Montana” Will Drop In 2024

Madlib was the one who made the official announcement. At first it seemed like he was just hyping up the crowd, but he was actually hyping up Montana. “Y’all ready for Freddie Gibbs?,” he asked the crowd. ‘[I’m] about to drop this live sh*t on y’all. Montana up next.” The producer didn’t offer a release date, but given how quickly him and Gibbs work, fans won’t have to wait long. It’s been five years since the release of Bandana, and in that time, both artists have dropped multiple albums.

The confirmation of Montana is great news for Gibbs fans, in particular. The rapper has spoken at length about the impact that Madlib has had on his music. He told GQ that he was initially reluctant to spit over such wild production, but it’s made him better. “It definitely made me a better lyricist because I didn’t really want to rap on those kinds of beats,” he noted. “I was like, alright, this is about to be the basis of all of this sh*t. Because it sounded like some Wu-Tang sh*t.” We hope the new album is more of the same.

Producer Madlib celebrated a big milestone this past weekend. On Saturday (May 11) at a 10th anniversary celebration of his album Piñata, which featured raps by Freddie Gibbs. The celebration took place at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City.

During the celebration, Madlib spun some tunes and dropped some beats. Freddie Gibbs was set to come to the stage. But before he performed, Madlib teased some new music with his frequent collaborator.

“Y’all ready for Freddie Gibbs?,” Madlib asked the crowd, who responded with cheers. Madlib continued, promising the crowd “[I’m] About to drop this live sh*t on y’all. Montana up next.”

Though neither Madlib nor Gibbs indicated an official release date for Montana, fans are waiting with bated breath.

Montana will mark Madlib and Gibbs’ third full-length album together, their first being 2014’s Piñata and their second being 2019’s Bandana. The duo releases music under the stage name, MadGibbs.

In addition to these two — soon to be three — albums, Madlib and Gibbs have also released five EPs together — 2011’s Thuggin’, 2012’s Shame, 2013’s Deeper, 2014’s Knicks (Remix), and 2020’s The Diamond Mine Sessions, with El Michels Affair.

Benny The Butcher Ices Freddie Gibbs’ Baby Mama Out After Snatching Indiana Native’s Chain

If there’s anyone in the rap game you don’t want to play with, it’s Benny The Butcher. Freddie Gibbs has been learning this the hard way in recent years, particularly after getting his chain snatched during a run-in with the New Yorker and his goons. The Indiana native’s baby mama, known online as The Fit Mami, was with him at the time of the incident and wound up being prescribed medication to help with her panic attacks afterward. She and Gibbs are no longer together romantically, as he allegedly walked out after finding out about her pregnancy, but the content creator isn’t struggling on her own. Instead, she’s got The Butcher to keep her warm.

After taking some ice off his 41-year-old opp, the East Coast icon is now putting a brand new flashy piece on The Fit Mami (real name Destini). In the video below, Benny hooks the large necklace around her slender neck as she proudly poses for the flashing cameras. Afterward, they snapped some pictures together, both giving stone-cold stares before Destini picked up the BF pendant and showed off her grills proudly for everyone to see. “I’m like her bodyguard,” The Butcher jokes before Gibbs’ ex wraps her arm around him.

Benny The Butcher Doesn’t Mind Taking Sloppy Seconds from His Opp

At this point, it’s unclear if The Fit Mami is interested in seriously pursuing the Tana Talk 4 artist, or if she simply wants to get a rise out of Gibbs. He hasn’t said much about her antics as of late, but this move just might be what pushes him to speak out after confirming a new relationship of his own; we’ll be sure to update you on the latest as it comes.

Benny The Butcher isn’t the only MC we’ve seen outside with The Fit Mami this year. Earlier in the winter she was posted up with Millyz, who called the buzzcut-rocking beauty his “treacherous little twin” in one post. Freddie Gibbs & Madlib’s “Pinata” Turns 10: A Decade Of MadGibbs

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s first collaborative studio album, Piñata. It was released on March 18, 2014 via Madlib Invazion. The album was preceded by three EP’s that included lead singles “Thuggin’,” “Shame,” and “Deeper.” Although Piñata saw Freddie Gibbs and Madlib as an unlikely pairing, they skillfully blended Freddie’s gangsta rap edge with Madlib’s vintage underground production. Thematically, the album plays like a “gangster blaxploitation film on wax,” as explained by Gibbs during its initial rollout.

Its stacked list of guest features, established hip-hop legends and then-newcomers, joined Freddie and Madlib, resulting in an all-star lineup. Standout appearances included Danny Brown, Raekwon, Domo Genesis, Earl Sweatshirt, Ab-Soul, Meechy Darko, and Mac Miller. A certified classic, Piñata is widely regarded as Freddie Gibbs’s magnum opus and one of Madlib’s greatest full-length collaborations. Today, we are revisiting Piñata for its 10th anniversary.

Piñata Propelled Freddie Gibbs To Hip Hop’s Forefront

Prior to Piñata, Freddie Gibbs was already a rising name in the hip-hop scene. He appeared on XXL’s Freshman cover in 2010. Gibbs also signed with Jeezy’s CTE label, releasing multiple well-received mixtapes. Freddie soon left CTE to start his own ESGN label following a disagreement with Jeezy that turned public. In 2013, he released his debut album, ESGN.

But even as he shaped his underground legend, vengeance remained on his mind after he and Jeezy fell out. Their beef continued well after Gibbs’ departure, resulting in “Real,” a cutthroat diss track that remains a standout on Piñata. ESGN and Freddie’s earlier mixtapes primarily consisted of trap production, so a full-length collaboration with Madlib seemed like a left-field crossover. In 2014, Gibbs told Rappcats, “It was a challenge rapping over beats with chops and changes as unpredictable as the man who created them.” Luckily, the two gelled their sounds together on Piñata so perfectly that it changed the trajectory of both of their careers.

From the cold-hearted “Thuggin” to the vivid “Deeper” and “Shame,” Piñata saw Freddie embracing his lyrical strengths over a sound that he had not yet explored. Both “Knicks” and “Lakers” recall his journey while “Harold’s” is easily the hardest rap song about chicken wings and fries. Gibbs shines amongst his contemporaries and OG’s throughout the album, especially on its closing posse cut. Ultimately, Piñata propelled Freddie Gibbs to hip-hop’s forefront, putting him in the conversation of best lyricists favored by rap purists and publications alike.

A New Phase in Madlib’s Career

In addition to positioning Freddie Gibbs within the stratosphere of hip hop’s greatest artists, Piñata also marked a new phase in Madlib’s career. By 2014, the legendary producer had already amassed a discography of some of hip hop’s greatest collaborations, including his work with Lootpack, J Dilla, Talib Kweli, Strong Arm Steady, and of course, Madvillainy with MF DOOM. He had also ventured into jazz and other genres with his instrumental tapes and released rap albums under the Quasimoto alias.

By working with Freddie Gibbs, Madlib unlocked a new vein of hip-hop that he had not yet tapped into. His vintage, soulful, and off-kilter production sounded fresher than ever with the help of Gibbs and his guests. Piñata set up Madlib to make sizable contributions to hip hop’s new wave of emerging underground talent. He went on to produce for the likes of Your Old Droog, Wiki, Mach-Hommy, and Westside Gunn. The album also expanded his reach beyond the underground, landing credits on albums from Kanye West, Tyler, The Creator and Anderson .Paak.

Piñata Set The Bar For Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s Future Works

Ten years later, Piñata has a legacy of its own. It set the bar incredibly high for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s future works, especially their subsequent collaborations. Though Freddie’s efforts with The Alchemist naturally garnered comparisons to his projects with Madlib, Pinata is the epitome of his peak creativity. On the other hand, the album joined Madlib’s most legendary collabs like Madvillainy and Champion Sound as an indisputable classic. It also set the stage for his future works with Blu, MED, Oh No, and Black Star. Even more than their future works as individuals, Piñata became the standard for Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s future collaborations as a duo.

With an even larger following and major label support, they unleashed Bandana in 2019 via RCA. It was a worthy successor to their debut, displaying that Gibbs and Madlib are strongest together. Piñata remains a landmark release in hip hop’s modern era, with Freddie Gibbs and Madlib celebrating its 10th anniversary with “Teñata” shows in Boston, New York, and Chicago. Hopefully, they continue their collaborative winning streak with Montana, the supposed third and final album in a trilogy.

Sukihana Reacts To Freddie Gibbs Leak, Says Nude Photo Is “Cute”

Sukihana is the latest in a long line of folks reacting to the “Spreadie Gibbs” leak, referring to his ex-girlfriend leaking a picture of his exposed rear’s opening. That sentence was as nasty to write as it probably was to read, but she’s right in affirming that it’s really no big deal. The Love & Hip Hop: Miami alum appeared on The Danza Project podcast’s recent episode, which premiered on Thursday (February 29) on YouTube. Danza and Kato brought up anilingus, which she’s a fan of, and referenced Freddie Gibbs’ new aforementioned nickname. When the 32-year-old realized they were referring to the Indiana rapper, she came through with a defense.

“I think it was cute,” Sukihana expressed on the program. “I liked how it looked. It was nice to me. He cares. That’s my friend.” For what it’s worth, it didn’t seem like he was all that bothered by the revelation, as he made a joke about it on Twitter and didn’t really address anything else. In addition, he publicly launched his new relationship on Valentine’s Day, so it’s clear that he wants to spend his time and energy on more important things in his life. Regardless of what you think of the whole controversy, social media users probably appreciate this distant approach and how it simplifies the timeline.

Sukihana Thinks Freddie Gibbs’ Leak Is “Cute”: Watch

The “Spreadie Gibbs” discussion begins at around the 24-minute mark.

For what it’s worth, Sukihana’s perspectives on Internet gossip and culture are usually pretty notable. In fact, she can even come through with refreshing, cheeky, and funny takes on these when she’s the main subject. Moreover, a lot of fans clowned Sexyy Red’s collaborator for her Bobbi Althoff interview and how she joked about the interviewer misrepresenting her profession. Her responses to folks on platforms like Twitter doubled down on the bit, and made it clear that she doesn’t mind going viral for whatever reason.

Meanwhile, we know that turning the other cheek in hilarious fashion is a common response in the “Cataracts” spitter’s arsenal. Freddie recently mocked JPEGMAFIA’s attempts to beef with him, which is one of the oddest feuds in rap of the year so far. We’ll see if these stories yield any more gas in the tank, especially as other spats with old foes surge. For that update, you can check out the link in the “Read More” section below. Also, keep checking in with HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Freddie Gibbs and Sukihana.

Freddie Gibbs Says He Will ‘Catch Another Lawsuit’ Whenever He Sees Akademiks

Freddie Gibbs

The Freddie Gibbs and DJ Akademiks war wages on. On his guest appearance on ScHoolboy Q’s “oHio” from the Blue Lips album, Gangsta Gibbs threatens to slap the controversial blogger.

“Smack a n*gga in his mouth for the loot If
I ever see that pussy n*gga Akademiks I’ma catch another lawsuit”

– Freddie Gibbs on “oHio”

DJ Akademiks had a rough ending to 2023 with sexual assault allegations levied on his name. Freddie Gibbs used the moment to get jabs in on his longtime enemy.

“Let the disrespect be as loud as the disrespect,” Gibbs wrote. “@Akademiks quiet as a church mouse today happy new year U rapist ass bitch.”

In case you missed it, DJ Akademiks’ ex-girlfriend accused him of sexual assault. During an Instagram Live session, the woman, Ziya Abashae, stated Ak and two of his friends allegedly committed the crime.

According to HipHopDX, a rape kit was conducted, and she shunned the claims by the controversial personality who stated she engaged in an orgy with his friends.

“For you to pretend you didn’t do anything? That I just went to your house, and I’m some thot, like we didn’t know each other for two years,” Abashae said. “You tried to save yourself after your friends assaulted me. Whether or not you got drunk or not, I know that when you woke up, you were on top of me too. You raped me too.”

Additional claims online feature a woman stating that Akademiks engaged in communication with her until she was 18 before he attempted to have sex with her and a video surfacing with a woman screaming in the background.

You can see it all below.

JPEGMAFIA Blasts Freddie Gibbs, He Responds Unbothered

It seems like collaborating on the same project, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures in this case, can’t solve rap beef. Moreover, JPEGMAFIA took to Twitter on Friday and Saturday (February 23 and 24) to unleash a scathing rant against Freddie Gibbs. The two have been at odds for a long time, and they have some specific points to make. First, Peggy clowned the Indiana rapper for always getting beat up, having his baby mama appear in an adult film while pregnant, and having NSFW pictures of his private parts leak onto the Internet. Freddie responded with unbothered videos working out, having breakfast, and waiting for his opponent in the hotel lobby. He also seemed to call the “Burfict!” rapper old for wearing one earring and mocked his low album sales.

Furthermore, they both seemed to be in Milan for Kanye West’s Vultures sessions and live shows, and allegedly at the same hotel. It’s hard to piece this all together because JPEGMAFIA’s tweeted so much against Freddie Gibbs that it’s hard to identify which surfaced tweets are real and which ones are fake. But that’s what the Baltimore artist claimed, and given that he released two videos from what seems like a train or plane, some fans even theorized that Ye asked him to leave due to all this. That is purely speculative though, and not just completely unconfirmed, but something that JPEG denied.

Not only that, but these exchanges also led JPEGMAFIA to combat his white fanbase and his followers as a whole. He’s never shied away from this type of confrontation online. However, paired with Kanye West’s antisemitic and far-right tendencies and the SCARING THE H*ES creative’s staunch condemnation of these politics, some folks are calling out hypocrisy. “Is any body in your family racist? You gonna punch them to stand on your reddit morals?” he responded to a fan calling out Ye’s Nazi ties.

“These are my fans,” Peggy said of folks asking him to stop the Twitter arguments. “They may not agree with me all the time but im here for them. And i do everything for them. They are worth my time. I just wish they respected me a little more i work hard for them.” Meanwhile, Freddie is living it up and simply enjoying his time in Milan. “Spreadie Gibbs” Trends As Freddie Gibbs’ Ex-GF Posts Alleged Nude Photo Of The Rapper, He Responds

Love is in the air for Freddie Gibbs, who was recently revealed to be in a new relationship on Valentine’s Day this year (Wednesday, February 14). Yesterday, his new boo Jasmine Grenaway dedicated a sweet and simple post to him, and it was unfortunately nowhere near as seen as a post from his ex around the same time. Moreover, Destini Fox, also known as The Fit Mami, posted an alleged naked leak of the rapper for the holiday on Twitter, which obviously sent fans into a frenzy. Well, she doesn’t explicitly say that the person bending over and revealing themselves is him, but folks got the general idea.

Furthermore, you may recall that “Spreadie Gibbs” had gone viral last year after The Fit Mami accused Freddie Gibbs of dipping out of their relationship when family became a possibility and accused him of this behavior. Back then, she didn’t want to post any leaked images, but it looks like she’s had a change of heart. The Indiana MC responded cheekily, using the opportunity to plug his stand-up comedy set at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles on May 3. In the background is the Geto Boys’ track “Quickie,” on which Scarface raps the following: “She wants to lick my booty, I guess I better let her/ Once I came, I didn’t want the b***h to kiss me/ Thought I wanted a long one, but I only wanted a quickie.” “I guess I better let her,” he wrote with a crying-laughing emoji on Twitter.

Freddie Gibbs’ Response To Fit Mami Leaking “Spreadie” Picture Online

However, we won’t post the leak here for the sake of manners, but you can find it on Destini’s Twitter (now X) page quite easily. This situation’s been developing for a long time, and it’s bizarre to see how the two are still quite combative. After all, this could constitute some legal ramifications if Freddie Gibbs wants to take action for the alleged leak and there’s a lot more gossip to unpack. But fans are too busy listening to his Kanye West collaborations these days to pay this too much mind.

Still, we can’t deny that folks have been cooking with the “Spreadie Gibbs” memes in light of all this. What do you think about this situation? What about his recent appearance on Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1? Let us know in the comments and come back to HNHH for more news on Freddie Gibbs.
