Tinashe Responds To Chris Brown Drama, Claims She Is Open To Reconciliation

Tinashe and Chris Brown have found themselves at odds as of late. Overall, this stems from some comments the former made on the Zach Sang Show. Essentially, the songstress feels like her label forced her to collaborate with R. Kelly and Chris Brown. She noted that she was embarrassed by some of those collaborations, especially the ones with Kelly. As for CB, she felt like the label was putting him on her songs because they were trying to do anything that could make her top the charts.

“We all wanted [‘Player’] to be this big moment, this big single. So I feel like in [RCA’s] mind, they were like ‘You need the support.’ And [Brown] was like their biggest artist that they had on rhythmic radio at the time,” Tinashe said. “I was like, ‘Well, this is a pop song, so I really don’t feel like we should put Chris on it like that. I don’t like that. That doesn’t compute to me.’” Subsequently, Brown clapped back and said no one can name five Tinashe songs off the top of their head.

Recently, TMZ was able to catch up with the singer, where they asked her about the whole situation. Overall, she feels like the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. She claims that if Chris Brown watched the interview, he wouldn’t feel anywhere near as badly. However, she understands why he might be upset. From there, she noted that she is open to reconciling with him and having a conversation. That said, she doesn’t expect that to happen anytime soon.

Blueface & Lil Baby Seemingly Send Subliminal Shots On Twitter

Blueface is someone who has been making millions of headlines as of late. Overall, this is due to the fact that Chrisean Rock just gave birth to their son. Moreover, he and Jaidyn Alexis have been getting into a ton of drama. This is mostly because Blue has been spending time with Chrisean and his new child. Ultimately, this is all very messy, and there are a lot of people involved in this weird love web. One such person is Lil Baby, who Blueface claims Chrisean was sleeping with, or at least tried to sleep with.

On a new song called “Baby Momma Drama,” Blueface decided to offer a shot at the Atlanta artist. “Lil Baby thought he knew me,” Blueface raps. “How you let another grown man feel up on your booty.” These bars are a clear declaration of war. Any rapper be incensed at this kind of disrespect, and as it turns out, Lil Baby is no different. Last night, he offered a tweet where he simply said, “Whooo? Y’all stop playing.” Subsequently, Blue responded by saying, “You know who.” However, it was a subtweet as he did not quote or reply to Baby’s tweet.

At this point, it is clear that the two do not like each other. Although, one has to wonder what Baby thinks about being wrapped up in all of this. He has steered clear of such feuds in the past, but now, he is being dragged into something that has been going on for months. Overall, fans are hoping for some diss tracks between the two. After all, Lil Baby has dealt with claims that he fell off. A solid diss track would likely put a stop to that.

For Blueface, the next few weeks will likely be filled with dad duties. Moreover, he will have to navigate the complexity of his relationship with both Chrisean and Jaidyn Alexis. Tyrese Puts DJ Envy Feud To Rest: “I’m Throwing Up My Peace Flag”

Tyrese says that he’s done feuding with his “bro” DJ Envy. In a video posted on Instagram, over the weekend, the singer put his ongoing dispute to rest, admitting that he wants to take the “higher road.”

Tyrese began the clip by showing love to Funk Flex. “I just wanna hop on here and show some love to Funk Flex,” he said. “You my brother, bro. Flex. It’s been the longest week ever. Flex, you’ve been killing my song out here in New York.” He continued: “I told n****s I’m ready for all that smoke with Envy, but I’m throwing up my peace flag. I’m going to make the choice to take the higher road. I just want y’all to know, man. Like, I don’t give a fuck what nobody say. It’s been five years of them going at me on that show.”

The beef between Tyrese and DJ Envy began earlier this month, after the former’s appearance on The Breakfast Club. Envy accused him of being “disrespectful” to his wife, which Tyrese denied having any recollection of. Eventually, Envy brought his wife, Gia, on the show, where she detailed their relationship. “He and I became friends and we were very, very cool and we spoke often. But, for me, it got to a point where it became inappropriate,” she said. “Like, he was extremely demanding of my time and my attention, where, if I didn’t give him my time or my attention, he would get very angry.” She then elaborated: “There was flirting and inappropriate compliments.”

Erica Mena Shades Spice Despite Apology For Insensitive Comments

Erica Mena called out Spice on Instagram, Tuesday, in the comments section of a public apology she posted for her racially insensitive insult leveled at the Jamaican musician on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. After admitting her wrongdoing, Mena replied to a fan, suggesting that Spice doesn’t have “the guts” to apologize for bringing her kids into their argument.

“I deeply regret my insensitive comment and want to humbly apologize to anybody I hurt or offended by my thoughtlessness,” she said. “My choice of words was wrong, and I take full responsibility for what I said. I am committed to listening to the voices of those affected and will work toward making amends. As a woman of color and the mother of two black children, I want to make it clear that my use of that word was not in any way racially driven. That said, I do understand the gravity of what I said and want to use my platform to promote inclusivity and equality.”

In the comments section, one fan asked: “Did she apologize to you for bringing up your child?” Mena replied: “She will never have the guts unfortunately.” While Mena says Spice hasn’t apologized, she did address the incident during an Instagram Live post. She argued that, while bringing up Mena’s kids is wrong, it doesn’t excuse racism.

Grimes Attempts To “De-Escalate” Feud With Shivon Zilis

Grimes is attempting to de-escalate the feud between herself and Shivon Zilis after remarking that she has never been “allowed” to see photos of Zilis and Elon Musk’s twins. Taking to Twitter on Monday, the singer explained that she and Zilis have finally discussed the situation and made amends.

“I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue,” she explained. “This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.” She also apologized to biographer Walter Isaacson who originally shared photos of the twins. “As u can imagine, that was a very gut level reaction to a thing that has been very hard for me. Communication about the twins wasn’t handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation,” she said. “Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it’s very evident she’s an amazing human and we both just want what’s best for our kids.”

Dame Dash Reflects On JAY-Z & Nas Feud

Dame Dash says that he wasn’t happy when JAY-Z apologized to Nas following their iconic feud. He reflected on the beef during a recent appearance on The CEO Show, while also admitting that he has deep respect for Nas. The conversation began with Dame recalling his response to being name-dropped on Nas’ “Ether.”

“I was in shock but I was happy. I wasn’t hurt,” he said. “I’ma tell you right now what happened. I was hyped that he said my name but also I knew what homie was doing and I thought it was a distraction. I’m like, ‘This is bubblegum shit.’ I go to do a fucking Rocawear campaign in Arizona, with Freeway I think, he was there. I land and this d*mb shit is on the radio and we took an L because he got in this man’s emotions.”

From there, Dame admitted that Nas is “one of the cooler ones,” explaining that the way an artist ages is a true sign of who they are as a person. He continued: “But he’s one of the dudes that I consider straight vinyl – pure Hip Hop, unadulterated. I haven’t seen him do nothing corny, so I have a respect for him. And plus, he got at homie. Warren G On His Missed Opportunity To Deescalate 2Pac And Biggie’s Feud

During his upcoming appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, Warren G discussed the famous beef between 2Pac and Biggie Smalls. According to him, he may have also had an opportunity to diffuse the tension. He claims that if had been able to talk about the situation with 2Pac, it’s possible things wouldn’t have escalated the way they did.

“I pulled up, Biggie was right there we was chopping it up about everything,” he began. “Music — with him and 2Pac, them having beef and sh*t. He was just like, ‘He tripping on me.’ He was telling me everything. The artist continued, explaining how he offered to talk to 2Pac for him.

“So I said, ‘How about this, this what I’ll do,’” he then explains. “When I get at ‘Pac, I’ll say I talked to this n***a Biggie, and this what he said. You n***as get this sh*t together and stop that sh*t.’” Unfortunately, however, Warren G never got the chance to. The late performer was surrounded by his crew all the time, making it impossible for him to intervene. “I couldn’t get to [2Pac] because it was all the other muthaf*ckas that was around,” Warren G says. “To really talk to him about what [Biggie] said. I was tryna get the message to him.”

At the very least, he says the feud could have been taken down a notch if he had spoken to 2Pac. “It probably wouldn’t have been as bad,” he says. “Well, I would’ve pulled [2Pac] to the side and really talked to him. Like, ‘Look, this what this n***a told me.’” Obviously, it’s too late now to know whether or not his intervention could have made any real difference. Earlier this summer, his wife’s sex tape with Blacked actor Jason Luv brought him plenty of backlash. Nevertheless, Adam continues to move forward with his head held high. He even maintained his composure while being attacked by Lil Reese in a recent episode.

Benzino & Eminem’s Beef Held Slim Shady Back From Scoring 5-Mic Review From “The Source”

Of the many music genres that exist, hip-hop is arguably the best known for beef unfolding between artists. There have been plenty of legendary feuds and diss tracks over the decades, many of which are still talked about today. On Matt Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, media proprietor Benzino stopped by to discuss his long-spanning drama with Eminem, who he still hasn’t totally forgiven for what transpired between them in the past. As it turns out, at the height of Zino’s career, he actually made sure that the 8 Mile actor didn’t receive the ultimate accolade, a five-mic review from The Source magazine.

“I was the top of my muthaf**kin’ food chain,” Coi Leray’s father said while reflecting on the early 2000s. “I was the top of a damn near $75 million company when ni**as wasn’t getting money like that, I got that big money first and I was the top of that,” Benzino further bragged of his past successes. Because of his high status in the industry, the 58-year-old knew that he had the power to determine how the public was perceiving artists, especially since social media wasn’t around at the time.

“So when the Eminem thing came through ‘The Source,’ at this point, it’s getting disrespectful. So how the f**k am I gonna have this ni**a in my magazine? Would you?” Benzino told Hoffa and his co-hosts. “You’re not gonna put nobody in your magazine to give this ni**a five mics after this ni**a’s being disrespectful. You wouldn’t do it, man. Nobody would.”

Shortly before Benzino revisited his beef with Eminem on My Expert Opinion, the Detroit-born lyricist found himself at odds with another industry veteran – Melle Mel. The latter responded to Slim Shady’s “Realest” verse with a diss track of his own earlier this month but ultimately admitted that it fell short. Irv Gotti Says He Still Has Beef With Fat Joe: “He Never Apologized”

Irv Gotti says he still has an issue with Fat Joe despite the Bronx rapper claiming that they put their dispute to bed, last year. While appearing on the latest episode of Drink Champs, Gotti discussed the state of their relationship. Joe previously called Gotti out for being “disrespectful” to Ashanti.

“Fat Joe was my brother; I do not feel Fat Joe is my brother anymore,” Gotti explained on the podcast. “I guess it’s a Cancer trait because once you show me who you are or speak negatively about me, it’s over. His defense and [Ja Rule’s] defense is they do shows with Ashanti … but Rule would never come out and say Gotti’s a sucka.”

He was on some, ‘If I’m you’re brother, I should be able to tell you when you wrong.’ But my thing is like, ‘N***a, you don’t even know what went on with me and Ashanti.’ So for you to say anything is cr*zy because you don’t know what the hell went on with me and her.
