Warren G On His Missed Opportunity To Deescalate 2Pac And Biggie’s Feud

During his upcoming appearance on the Drink Champs podcast, Warren G discussed the famous beef between 2Pac and Biggie Smalls. According to him, he may have also had an opportunity to diffuse the tension. He claims that if had been able to talk about the situation with 2Pac, it’s possible things wouldn’t have escalated the way they did.

“I pulled up, Biggie was right there we was chopping it up about everything,” he began. “Music — with him and 2Pac, them having beef and sh*t. He was just like, ‘He tripping on me.’ He was telling me everything. The artist continued, explaining how he offered to talk to 2Pac for him.

Warren G “Couldn’t Get To” 2Pac

“So I said, ‘How about this, this what I’ll do,’” he then explains. “When I get at ‘Pac, I’ll say I talked to this n***a Biggie, and this what he said. You n***as get this sh*t together and stop that sh*t.’” Unfortunately, however, Warren G never got the chance to. The late performer was surrounded by his crew all the time, making it impossible for him to intervene. “I couldn’t get to [2Pac] because it was all the other muthaf*ckas that was around,” Warren G says. “To really talk to him about what [Biggie] said. I was tryna get the message to him.

At the very least, he says the feud could have been taken down a notch if he had spoken to 2Pac. “It probably wouldn’t have been as bad,” he says. “Well, I would’ve pulled [2Pac] to the side and really talked to him. Like, ‘Look, this what this n***a told me.’” Obviously, it’s too late now to know whether or not his intervention could have made any real difference. With that being said, many commenters disagree with his take, claiming that there’s nothing that he could have done. Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Warren G, Biggie, and 2Pac.

Lil Reese Lashes Out At Adam22: “Why You Steady Having People Bring Up Old S**t That’s Not True?”

No Jumper has amassed a dedicated fanbase since its inception. Still, that doesn’t mean everyone who tunes into the platform’s content is impressed. For the most part, it’s one of the show’s hosts, Adam22, that has a polarizing impact on viewers. The podcaster has previously been called out for asking uncomfortable questions. Earlier this summer, his wife’s sex tape with Blacked actor Jason Luv brought him plenty of backlash. Nevertheless, Adam continues to move forward with his head held high. He even maintained his composure while being attacked by Lil Reese in a recent episode.

“Lil Reese, how you doing?” the host asked the Chicago rapper when he called into No Jumper earlier this week. “Man, I don’t f**k with Adam22,” Reese responded. “Why you don’t f**k with me?!” the OnlyFans creator asked after a moment of laughter. “Bro, ‘cuz you be doin’ too much on your platforms with my name, bro,” the 30-year-old clarified. “Why you steady having people bring up old s**t that’s not true?” Reese wanted to know.

Rather than addressing the question about his journalistic integrity, Adam insisted that he defends Reese when his name comes up in conversation. “I was saying that I thought it was just the design on your Ethikas,” the embattled entertainer explained to the Supa S*vage 3 spitter. “Why they ain’t tell you I f**ked them up?” Reese asked from the other end of the phone, prompting more laughter from those listening in the No Jumper studio.

Lil Reese has found himself at odds with various hip-hop bloggers over the past few years, it seems. Back in 2019, he put VladTV‘s DJ Vlad on blast in a scathing rant, calling the media personality a “b**ch,” among other things. Benzino & Eminem’s Beef Held Slim Shady Back From Scoring 5-Mic Review From “The Source”

Of the many music genres that exist, hip-hop is arguably the best known for beef unfolding between artists. There have been plenty of legendary feuds and diss tracks over the decades, many of which are still talked about today. On Matt Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast, media proprietor Benzino stopped by to discuss his long-spanning drama with Eminem, who he still hasn’t totally forgiven for what transpired between them in the past. As it turns out, at the height of Zino’s career, he actually made sure that the 8 Mile actor didn’t receive the ultimate accolade, a five-mic review from The Source magazine.

“I was the top of my muthaf**kin’ food chain,” Coi Leray’s father said while reflecting on the early 2000s. “I was the top of a damn near $75 million company when ni**as wasn’t getting money like that, I got that big money first and I was the top of that,” Benzino further bragged of his past successes. Because of his high status in the industry, the 58-year-old knew that he had the power to determine how the public was perceiving artists, especially since social media wasn’t around at the time.

Benzino Addresses His Beef with Eminem on My Expert Opinion

“So when the Eminem thing came through ‘The Source,’ at this point, it’s getting disrespectful. So how the f**k am I gonna have this ni**a in my magazine? Would you?” Benzino told Hoffa and his co-hosts. “You’re not gonna put nobody in your magazine to give this ni**a five mics after this ni**a’s being disrespectful. You wouldn’t do it, man. Nobody would.”

Shortly before Benzino revisited his beef with Eminem on My Expert Opinion, the Detroit-born lyricist found himself at odds with another industry veteran – Melle Mel. The latter responded to Slim Shady’s “Realest” verse with a diss track of his own earlier this month but ultimately admitted that it fell short. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Irv Gotti Says He Still Has Beef With Fat Joe: “He Never Apologized”

Irv Gotti says he still has an issue with Fat Joe despite the Bronx rapper claiming that they put their dispute to bed, last year. While appearing on the latest episode of Drink Champs, Gotti discussed the state of their relationship. Joe previously called Gotti out for being “disrespectful” to Ashanti.

“Fat Joe was my brother; I do not feel Fat Joe is my brother anymore,” Gotti explained on the podcast. “I guess it’s a Cancer trait because once you show me who you are or speak negatively about me, it’s over. His defense and [Ja Rule’s] defense is they do shows with Ashanti … but Rule would never come out and say Gotti’s a sucka.”

“Fat Joe said, ‘Oh, Gotti’s a sucka.’ I gotta pull back and regress from that because if I was to go respond or anything with that, it could get cr*zy,” he continued. “He never apologized. He was on some, ‘If I’m you’re brother, I should be able to tell you when you wrong.’ But my thing is like, ‘N***a, you don’t even know what went on with me and Ashanti.’ So for you to say anything is cr*zy because you don’t know what the hell went on with me and her. Rule knew, he was there. That’s why all my n****s never said nothing.”

From there, N.O.R.E. asked about Joe claiming that the two made amends and noted that he saw a picture of them together. “Yeah, we’ve probably seen each other; I don’t know about all that speaking,” Gotti replied. “I don’t really need friends. You know why? I really enjoy chilling with Nee Nee, my mother. I really enjoy chilling with my family. I really enjoy being around the people who I know care and love me the right way. I don’t need you, n***a. I’m a sucka? You need to get away from me … Fat Joe was once someone who I thought was family.” Elsewhere in the interview, Gotti discusses the YSL case, working with artists like JAY-Z and Nas, founding Murder Inc. Records, and more.

Drake & Bobbi Althoff Reportedly Unfollow Each Other, Althoff Removes Podcast From YouTube

Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the entire world, which means it can be hard to get an interview with him. However, one person was able to do it despite not having a huge catalog. That person was, of course, Bobbi Althoff. Many are calling her some sort of industry plant. Although, that would be fairly dismissive of everything she has done. So far, she has interviewed Funny Marco, Drizzy, Lil Yachty, Mark Cuban, and even Tyga. Furthermore, she has a plethora of other interviews on the way.

As it pertains to Drake, it had always seemed like the two were on very good terms with one another. They would hang out once in a while and Drizzy would even roast her in her IG comments. Overall, it felt like they were some up-and-coming comedic duo. Unfortunately, it seems as though this has all come crumbling down, extremely fast. On Twitter last night, it was reported by numerous accounts that Bobbi Althoff and Drake unfollowed one another. Moreover, she took down their interview from her YouTube page.

Drake & Bobbi Althoff On The Outs?

A quick fact check will show that this is, indeed, true. They definitely do not follow one another on Instagram. Additionally, on YouTube, the only trace of the Drake interview on Bobbi’s channel are some “Shorts” that were released prior to the entire interview going live. Needless to say, something very fishy is going on here. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the internet has found any clarity on the situation.

This could definitely be a real feud brewing between the two or it could just be a random falling out. Drake has had an unfollow spree with other women in the past. Ice Spice being a prime example. However, this could also just be some sort of promo that is going over our heads. The possibilities are truly endless. Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.

Jim Jones Praises Pusha T Amid Ongoing Feud

Jim Jones spoke highly of Pusha T while discussing their ongoing feud during a recent appearance on the Drink Champs podcast. He labeled the Clipse rapper a “dope artist” and said that he’s excited to hear a response to his latest diss track.

“Shout out to Pusha T, [a] very dope artist everybody knows he’s a monster when it comes to music I can’t take nothing away from him,” he stated. Jones added that he’s happy to engage with such a talented artist; however, he wants to know when he can expect a reply to his latest diss track. “Who knows what he might come up with, he’s very crafty and s**t like that,” he said. “Some people react off top, some people take years to come back. I seen n****s had beef and wait years to try and kill a n***a.”

Jones also discussed his reaction to Pusha T’s initial diss on an unreleased Clipse song that premiered at Paris Fashion Week. “For the most part it was dope and it was cute,” Jones said. Despite the compliment, he also spoke highly of his own response, “The Summer Collection.” “I put a response out there I think it was pretty crafty,” he said. As for another diss song from Pusha, he’s currently busy working with No Malice and hopes to release another Clipse album. Perhaps a response could make the tracklist for that effort.

Jim Jones Sits Down With N.O.R.E.

Elsewhere in the interview, Jones spoke with N.O.R.E. about the possibility of a Dipset reunion as well as the tragic passing of the late Migos rapper, Takeoff. Check out Jones’ full comments on those topics and more on Drink Champs above.

Drake’s “Back to Back” famously served as a diss track aimed at Meek Mill amid their feud in 2015. It arrived after Meek accused Drake of using ghostwriters. “Back to Back” isn’t the only diss song that Malcolm Whyz3 has remixed as of late. He also received attention for dissing Apple for overcharging consumers by using 2Pac’s classic “Hit Em Up” instrumental.

Melle Mel Delivers Eminem Diss Track And Gets Scathing Critiques On Social Media

Melle Mel and Eminem have been embroiled in a bit of a feud as of late. Overall, it started when the former came out and said some things about Em and his place in hip-hop. These comments were quite controversial but by no means the worst thing that Em has heard. Regardless, Eminem decided to respond on someone else’s track. As we reported, Eminem hopped on “Realest,” a new song by Ez Mil, one of Em’s latest signees. It was here where he dropped scathing bars directed at Mel.

Earlier in the week, the legendary pioneer took to his Instagram and revealed that he was preparing a response to Eminem. As you can imagine, many were interested to see what kind of bars he would come with. Em can be an easy target at times, and there are plenty of avenues to launch a diss. Last night, Melle Mel dropped the diss track which was only 73 seconds in length. You can listen to it below.

Melle Mel Fights Back

Unfortunately for Mel, a lot of people were not feeling the diss track. While there were certainly some interesting bars to digest, some were underwhelmed by both the production and the flows. Overall, coming through with a diss track can be tough. People are expecting the best, and if you don’t bring the best, then you will get some heat for it. As you can see from the Twitter reactions below, Melle Mel actually got hit with some pretty brutal critiques.

Social Media Reacts

“Melle Mel dropped his Diss response track to Eminem… and I can confidently say it’s the worst piece of music released in 2023,” one person wrote. “I don’t think I can look at Melle Mel the same after that diss track,” wrote another. Let us know your thoughts on the diss track, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.

Cellski Recalls Bun B Defusing T.I. & Lil Flip Feud From Becoming “War”

Cellski says that Bun B once defused a tense situation between T.I. and Lil Flip that nearly broke out into “war.” He recalled the incident during a recent episode of the No Vultures podcast.

“Bun B — he pacing and shit,” he said in a clip posted on Friday. “[He] walked up to the truck, like, ‘Hey man. T.I. up there with hella n****s, and he talkin’ about taking some shots at you. I don’t think y’all should perform.’ And we all confused and shit.”

He continued: “So Flip like, ‘Man, somebody need to go see what’s going on.’ So I hop out of the truck, run up on the stage — mind you, T.I. up there with hella n****s — and he go, ‘Yeah, I heard Lil Flip in the building. Tell that punk-ass n***a to come up to the stage. I run back to the truck, and I’m like, ‘Man, he up there talking hella shit, bro. What you wanna do?’ I’m like, ‘Fuck that, we need to perform.’ Bun like, ‘Hell nah.’ So Bun made the decision to get up outta there. […] Daddy was being real with y’all. He was like, ‘Which one of these n****s is really gonna be ready to go to war with you?’”

Flip and T.I. infamously had beef for years throughout the 2000s. It wasn’t until 2013 that they finally laid it to rest with the help of J. Prince. Check out Cellski’s recollection of a tense moment during the feud below.

Cellski Reflects On T.I.-Lil Flip Feud

Back in 2021, Lil Flip entertained the idea of participating in a Verzuz matchup with T.I., although he admitted he’d need a “real nice bag.” “A lot of people ask that,” he said at the time, regarding the idea. “I don’t know. It’s possible, but if Verzuz want me to do something, man, Imma need a real, real big bag, ’cause somebody makin’ some money off of that. Somebody gettin’ some money. You know what I mean? But uh, yeah, it’s possible. It’s gon’ take a real nice bag.”

Cam’ron Likens Chad Ochocino To R. Kelly In Scathing Rant

Cam’ron and Ma$e have rekindled their friendship as of late. Overall, this has led to some incredible content in the form of It Is What It Is. This is a sports talk show that completely flips the debate format on its head. Although they may not be professional journalists, their commentary is still hilarious and yes, it is also insightful. They bring an irreverent approach to the sports talk world which is something that has truly been missing. Cam doesn’t care who he offends, and it leads to some amazing moments.

Recently, Cam’ron went on a bit of a rant about how It Is What It Is is the future of sports television. Subsequently, a whole bunch of podcasters and hosts were in their feelings. Among them was Chad Ochocinco, who took to Twitter and wrote, “Cam you my man but once i finish fasting & get back in front of the camera I’m gone dominate that space [fencer emoji].” Although Ochocinco was quite nice in his respond, Cam opted to take a sinister approach in his response. In the video down below, Cam brings up Ochocinco’s previous assault allegations, all while accusing him of being in rehab.
