Xscape, Jagged Edge, Da Brat, TLC, Anthony Hamilton And More To Perform At So So Def Festival In October

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of So So Def, Grammy® Award-winning producer, songwriter, hip-hop artist, author, and DJ Jermaine Dupri, announced his upcoming So So Def Festival, a celebration of hip-hop and R&B music. The multi-day festival will feature performances from well-renowned artists, including Xscape, Jagged Edge, Anthony Hamilton, Da Brat, TLC, Dem Franchize Boyz, and Youngbloodz.

The two-day live music event will take place on October 7th from 12 PM – 11 PM ET and October 8th from 12 PM – 10 PM ET in Atlanta’s infamous Central Park. Additional performers are forthcoming.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson decided he wanted to be down with the clique and copped his own iced out medallion which was inspired by cornerback Sauce Gardner.

Once Johnson discovered that Gardner, Mecole Hardman and Aaron Rodgers all had custom pieces designed by Al The Jeweler from Labelle Jewelers out of New Jersey, he wanted in and acquired his custom made, white gold and diamond encrusted “Woody and the Jets” pendant from Al.

The piece is composed of 60 carats of emerald and round cut diamonds that are set in white gold. Jets players can be seen showing love to Woody over his new ice on the latest episode of HBO Sports’ Hard Knocks.

It’s Virgo season, and Beyoncé wants her fans to celebrate with her. Beyoncé’s birthday is Sept. 4, and she is looking to take the fashion on the remaining dates of her Renaissance tour to a different level.

“Virgo season is upon us,” Beyoncé wrote online. “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows 8.23 – 9.22!”

She added, “We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmer human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the house of chrome.”

50 Cent wants some bras thrown at him, too. Backstage at the Final Lap Tour, 50 joked about Drake’s bra treatment.

“Drake, they throw him bras,” 50 Cent said. “What do I get? Could you please go get me some Drake fans? Shit just don’t feel right. I need to feel special around here. I need them to treat me like I’m Drake. Drake get bras every night. I used to get bras in the beginning of my career.”

Maybe when 50 Cent gets to LA he can get some bras. Drake asked his fans to hold their bras for one night as his son attended the Los Angeles shows. Drake launched his residency at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA, and wanted to protect his son, Adonis Graham’s, innocence.

“Look, to be honest with you, I can’t talk about titties tonight in L.A. because my son is at the show for the first time,” Drake said. “So we’ve got to keep this real PG tonight. Y’all keep your bras on.”

Trump Reportedly ‘Not So Confident’ Ahead of Reporting to Fulton County

Donald Trump Hints at Possible 2024 Presidential Run

President Trump is getting ready to turn himself in at Fulton County Jail. Facing a 41-count indictment, Trump’s bravado against charges is reportedly gone.

An insider told Page Six, Trump’s indictment has “brought about a change.” The insider added, “he’s not so confident anymore. He’s not acting so cocky anymore. He’s not lashing out so much. The arrogance is gone.”

A bond of $200,000 has been set for Former President Donald Trump in a Georgia RICO indictment that also charges 18 of his business associates. According to The New York Times, Trump and the defendants must pay a cash bond upon booking in Atlanta.

As a condition of his bond, Trump cannot violate state or federal laws or communicate with his co-defendants individually. All conversations with others charged must come through legal representatives. In addition, if he was told not to intimidate witnesses or co-defendants. Additional orders included “make no direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community or to any property in the community,” which includes “posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another individual on social media.”

The co-defendants have only to supply 10 percent of the bail amount, which may be complicated for former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani due to his money being tied in other legal affairs.

President Donald Trump and his 18 co-defendants will be booked into Fulton County Jail. According to WBSTV, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has said the 19 charged will have until Aug. 25 to turn themselves in.

In addition to Trump, Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, and more will be booked at the jail on Rice Street. That includes Trevian Kutti, who once was a publicist for R. Kelly and Kanye West. All charged party members will be fingerprinted and have a mugshot.

“Unless somebody tells me differently, we are following our normal practices, and so it doesn’t matter your status, we’ll have a mugshot ready for you,” Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat said.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump received his fourth indictment, a RICO charge, in the state of Georgia for attempting to overturn election results in the state to stay in power. Trump, his advisors, and staff are accused of organizing a “criminal enterprise” against official election results. A grand jury handed down the indictment.

A new 100-page indictment names Trump and 18 others as charged with lying to Georgia legislature and state officials, creating a fake pro-Trump slate for the Electoral College, harassing election workers, engaging in a cover-up, and four more crimes. There are officially 41 counts. Of those indicted are Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, and Kenneth Chesebro.

The leading charge against Trump was issued under the RICO law, short for Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations, originally set to target the mafia and organized crime. The RICO law has been notable throughout Hip-Hop, specifically regarding the YSL chase involving Young Thug. The charges against Trump and Thugger were both brought forth by Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis.

Trump and his co-defendants now have until Aug. 25 to surrender to Fulton County, GA. “We look forward to a detailed review of this indictment, which is undoubtedly just as flawed and unconstitutional as this entire process has been,” Trump’s legal team said in response.

According to The New York Times, once Trump is arraigned, a judge will be assigned who will schedule the trial.

Returning to Truth Social, his Twitter/X alternative, Trump blasted the charges by issuing, “So, the Witch Hunt continues!” Trump also attacked Willis, writing she is an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, ‘I will get Trump.’”

OVO Sound’s Roy Woods Announces ‘Me & U Tour’

Roy Woods has officially announced the ME & U Tour today following the recent release of his highly anticipated album ‘Mixed Emotions’ after a 5-year hiatus. The tour, produced by AEG, will feature songs from Roy’s first two albums – Say Less (2017) and Mixed Emotions (2023), as well as hits from his early EPs ‘Exis’, ‘Walking at Dawn’ and more. The tour will feature special guest performances in each city. The 28-city tour kicks off on Sunday, October 29 at the Bronson Center in Ottawa, ON, and will include dates lined up throughout North America including Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Montreal, Chicago, Vancouver and more. Whoopi Goldberg wants everyone to know: “I am not a lesbian.” Speaking with Raven Symone on The Best Pod Ever, Goldberg told her fellow star that she isn’t a lesbian. The moment of clarity came after Symone stated Goldberg “gives off lesbian vibes, stud vibes.”

“Women have been asking me this for as long as I’ve been around,” Goldberg replied. “I am not a lesbian. But I know lots of them, and I’ve played them on television. But I have always had lesbian friends because they’re just my friends.”

She added, “I’m not gonna kiss you, but I’ll kiss you over here, I’ll do this but I’m not going to do this… And they’re like, ‘OK!’”

The revelation received a positive response from Symone who stated, “There is something beautiful about a woman being able to embrace their masculine and feminine at the same time and wear it so well, like you do.”
