T.I. is currently making the rounds in celebration of this Trap Muzik album that just hit its 20th anniversary. In conversation with AllHipHop, T.I. revealed who he thought would make the Mount Rushmore of trap music.
“There were always three figureheads in Trap music – myself, Jeezy, and Gucci,” T.I. said. “That was always like unanimous, and nobody could even question or you can’t add or remove anybody from that. Over time, there have been conversations about who else should be allotted.”
After conducting his own poll, T.I. says he arrived on Future as the fourth member of the illustrious crew.
Recently T.I., like most of America, noticed Kanye West’s change in behavior and spoke about it during a recent visit to The Breakfast Club.
The King reflected on working with Ye in the past and revealed he was always cool, but at some point, he lost the ability to survey the landscape.
“I ain’t even gonna cap,” T.I. stated. “Kanye was more conversational. He read the room a lot better. It feels like Ye got to a point where he just stopped reading the room and just gave everything everywhere.”
Wendy Williams is sidestepping her frozen bank accounts by opening a new one. The famed TV host is attempting to get the cash she once had access to transferred to her new account.
According to Radar Online, Williams opened a secret account to attempt to move her money away from Wells Fargo, who previously frozen her assets, citing she needed a “guardianship.” Williams is also accused of attempting to sell off some of her personal items to friends.
“Wendy is getting rid of items for spring cleaning, this is what people do this time of year,” a rep stated. “It’s a new chapter for Wendy and she wants new things. This is a common gesture people do and Wendy is no different.”
Williams’ accounts were frozen out of fear of “financial exploitation, dementia, or undue influence.”
It was reported last month that when Wendy Williams’ ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, tried to get alimony last year to pay off his debt for his mortgage, credit card bills, and other debts, rumors abounded. Wendy ceased paying Kevin’s alimony, so his house is now in foreclosure and up for sale.
In Parkland, Florida, Kevin owns a 3,425-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-bathroom single-family home that is now under contract. Kevin paid $795k for the house in 2020. He put the house up for sale in April for $1.3 million. The property was under contract and awaited final permission on June 29.
A few months after Wendy and Kevin’s divorce was finalized, Kevin and Sharina relocated from New Jersey to Florida. The choice to sell the pad was made after Kevin’s unsuccessful court battle earlier this year regarding his alimony payments from Wendy. Despite being required per their divorce agreement, Kevin claimed that his paychecks ceased arriving in early 2022.
Drake is rapping up his run of shows in Los Angeles. During the Tuesday night (Aug. 22) show, he gave a shoutout to Big Sean, who was in attendance.
“We started this shit together, y’all make some noise for Sean Don one time,” Drake said before instructing the camera to pan to Big Sean. “That’s my brother.”

Rudy Giuliani officially turned himself in as a co-defendant to a RICO case in Georgia centralized on former President Donald Trump. Giuliani is one of 18 co-defendants to Trump and had a bond set at $150,000.
Upon his arrival to Fulton County Jail, Giuliani’s lawyer, Kenneth Chesebro, filed a motion for a speedy trial, targeting Nov. 3
According to The New York Times, Giuliani and Trump face the most charges in the indictment. Giuliani was Trump’s lawyer following the 2020 election and was pivotal in the attempt to overthrow election results in the state.
President Trump is getting ready to turn himself in at Fulton County Jail. Facing a 41-count indictment, Trump’s bravado against charges is reportedly gone.
An insider told Page Six, Trump’s indictment has “brought about a change.” The insider added, “he’s not so confident anymore. He’s not acting so cocky anymore. He’s not lashing out so much. The arrogance is gone.”
A bond of $200,000 has been set for Former President Donald Trump in a Georgia RICO indictment that also charges 18 of his business associates. According to The New York Times, Trump and the defendants must pay a cash bond upon booking in Atlanta.
As a condition of his bond, Trump cannot violate state or federal laws or communicate with his co-defendants individually. All conversations with others charged must come through legal representatives. In addition, if he was told not to intimidate witnesses or co-defendants. Additional orders included “make no direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community or to any property in the community,” which includes “posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another individual on social media.”
The co-defendants have only to supply 10 percent of the bail amount, which may be complicated for former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani due to his money being tied in other legal affairs.
President Donald Trump and his 18 co-defendants will be booked into Fulton County Jail. According to WBSTV, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has said the 19 charged will have until Aug. 25 to turn themselves in.
John Eastman, Mark Meadows, and more will be booked at the jail on Rice Street. That includes Trevian Kutti, who once was a publicist for R. Kelly and Kanye West. All charged party members will be fingerprinted and have a mugshot.
“Unless somebody tells me differently, we are following our normal practices, and so it doesn’t matter your status, we’ll have a mugshot ready for you,” Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat said.
On this date in 1993, J-Ro, Tash, and E-Swift, the West Coast collective known as Tha Alkaholiks, released their premiere album 21 & Over on Steve Rifkind’s Loud/RCA imprint.
Founded by West Coast legend King Tee, Tha Alkaholiks and their music are recognized as the epitome of Cali party music, with the clinking bottles and drunken burps as the backdrop. The 21 & Over project served as one of the few examples of West Coast Hip Hop that wasn’t oversaturated with California gang life. Instead, Tha Liks were a part of the Cali movement of MCs who had to prove their lyrical skills were competitive compared to their East Coast counterparts.
The ten-track classic is less than 40 minutes in length. Still, the drunken style theme is maintained throughout the entire project, with sure shot singles like “Last Call,” “Make Room,” and “Likwit” that solidified Tha Liks as a force from the West that continues to be recognized for their contribution to the game.

Footage from Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Reseda, California shows Blueface getting into an altercation with another man before the man appears to pull out some type of weapon. in which Blueface claimed he was stabbed and will not be able to fight in his scheduled bout in October.

Blue face claims that he did not know the man prior to their physical altercation, in which gym owner David Kaminsky attempted to diffuse the situation, but not long before Blueface landed a couple of punches upon his would-be assailant. The man backed up and appeared to have been going for a weapon, but the video ends before you can see what actually transpired.
After the incident, Blueface appeared on social media to announce that he would not be fighting in his bout scheduled for October 14 against Salt Papi.
Wrestling legend Terry Funk has passed away. The wrestler was 79 years old at the time of death. Hitting social media, Mick Foley, professionally known as Dude Love and Cactus Jack, confirmed Funk’s death.
“Terry Funk is gone,” Foley wrote. “I just talked to Terry’s daughter, Brandee, who gave me the awful news. He was my mentor, my idol, one of the closest friends. He was the greatest wrestler I ever saw.
“If you get the chance, look up a Terry Funk match or a Terry Funk promo, and give thanks that this incredible man gave so much, for so long, to so many. There will never be another like him. Terry Funk was an American actor and professional wrestler who made history in the sport of wrestling. Funk, who comes from a wrestling family, debuted professionally in 1965. He is known for his brutal and brawler-style battles, frequently testing the limits of the sport. Funk’s involvement in numerous wrestling organizations, such as the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), helped him become well-known. He held several championships, and his feuds with legendary wrestlers like Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes are immortalized in the annals of professional wrestling. Funk made a foray into acting outside of the ring, appearing in movies and television programs.
Nelly will forever hold the throne for being the biggest rapper to come out of St. Louis. Thanks to him, a slew of talented artists from the city have been able to live out their dreams of making it in the music industry.
Insert NandoSTL, who’s the newest rising star to come out of the city. In fact, the singer, songwriter, and rapper is actually the first artist to drop a project under T-Pain’s label, Nappy Boy Entertainment. With such a big name backing him, it’s only right NandoSTL follows suit in living out the life of a superstar.
When it comes to his sound, NandoSTL compares himself to the likes of Smino, Chance The Rapper, CeeLo Green, and The Fugees. And with St. Louis being such a small town, he had to insert it as part of his name.
Now, NandoSTL taps fellow St. Louis native Nelly for his new single and visual titled “On Errythang.” Read below how the song came into fruition.
How did you and Nelly tap in?
I originally created this record for a different artist to be featured on. After I completed the record, I sent it to T-Pain and let him know I heard Nelly on it instead. He immediately reached out to Nelly in hopes of securing the feature. While that was being done, I desired to get to know Nelly for myself. I found out he was throwing a party at a hookah lounge in STL for 314 Day ( a STL holiday held on 3/14 in honor of the city’s area code). He was happy to see me and recognized me as soon as I introduced myself. From there, we developed a real friendship. We went bowling, and I pulled up to his studio a few times.
What did it mean to collab with him, especially both being from STL?
It meant the world. Nelly and the St. Lunatics paved the way for STL to make a mainstream mark in Hip-Hop. My grandmother who is now 81 years old, is not familiar with who the current trending celebrity is, BUT she definitely knows who Nelly is. If they were to ever cross paths, it would warm her heart to know she’d be able to say, “You know my Grandson” and he’d respond “yes I indeed do.”
It’s a dream come true being able to not just collaborate, but be called “nephew” by such an iconic figure.
What was the creative vision with the video?
I wanted it to feel relatable. The song is about feeling like no matter how good you are at something, people will always try to take credit or downplay your accomplishments. So that’s what I wanted the video to reflect, how no matter what, we make it look easy and keep a positive attitude. Of course, we had to represent for St.Louis to the fullest. This record was definitely a stamp of approval from my hometown.
Best memory from shooting?
After the video shoot, Nelly, T-Pain, my children and I (a few others were there as well) headed to the bowling alley. I watched my son Bowl with T-Pain and Nelly. I thought to myself, he has no idea how far from “normal” this is. That small moment validated all the work I’ve put in so far, and gave me the motivation I needed to go 100 times harder. I belong here…we belong here.
Polo G was handcuffed outside his Los Angeles-area home as offers executed a search warrant. During the warrant’s execution, Polo G and others inside the home were ordered out of the house individually.
According to TMZ, the warrant was in connection to a robbery, leading to four people being arrested. Reps for Polo G state he was not the subject of the investigation. “We are hopeful the LAPD will handle this matter with tact and transparency,” a rep said.
An additional update states Polo G was detained in case he harbored a fugitive. That said person is Polo G’s bother, Tauren, known as Trench Baby.
“Polo is being held to under the guise that the police department needs to double check that he is not a convicted felon as there was a purported firearm found in the home,” Polo G’s attorney Bradford Cohen said. “He is not and never was a convicted felon. Any precious charges he had I got dismissed and it’s all public record. They are also denying myself and my California law partner Zoey Aron access to him while he is being illegally detained.”

It must be real nice to be Drake. Last night in Los Angeles, the Toronto native performed his last of six shows in Los Angeles, currently on the road for his It’s All A Blur Tour. The first four shows took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, as Drizzy saved the best for last: two sold out shows at crypto.com Arena, home to the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers.
Night one was full of festivities, as Drake brought out LeBron James and his son Bronny to walk out with him. Night two was just as eventful, bringing out Lil Durk as he walked the path from his dressing room to the main stage. The two collaborated on the song “LAUGH NOW CRY LATER.”
Of course, Drake plays no games when it comes to his live show. In fact, he even had a younger version of himself on stage (played by a look-a-like), reminding fans of his time on the television show Degrassi. He then gives the story of how he was on Lil Wayne’s tour bus, but Wayne said they were waiting on someone before he could play Drake Tha Carter III. That person turned out to be Kobe Bryant, who Drake made sure to pay homage to this evening.
A hilarious moment arrived when Drake started picking up bras on the stage, commenting on the wide variety of sizes being thrown at him. The entire arena was turnt, as the “God’s Plan” rapper utilized the moment to deliver a message of positivity. He also took a shot with everyone, in commemoration of his last stop in LA.
Drake also plugged his new album, For All the Dogs, with cover art drawn by his own son Adonis.
Halfway through the show, 21 Savage walked out to the main stage as Drake took a breather. It’s no secret the two Platinum-selling artists share an undeniable bond, and their synergy has yielded to fire records such as “Rich Flex,” “Mr Right Now,” “Jimmy Cooks,” and more.
