Beats Unveils 'The King & The Viking' Campaign with LeBron James and Erling Haaland

Beats, the renowned audio brand, has launched its latest campaign, The King & The Viking, bringing together NBA Champion LeBron James and Premier League sensation Erling Haaland. This campaign showcases the power of music and marks Haaland’s official entry into the Beats family as a brand ambassador.

In the campaign film, both athletes face immense pressure to surpass expectations. Despite operating in different worlds, their stories of perseverance beautifully complement one another. Family and legacy motivate both, as Savannah James and Alfie Haaland share profound words of wisdom with their loved ones, urging them to conquer doubt and use pressure as a catalyst for success.

Furthermore, the James family’s legacy with Beats continues to thrive, with Savannah, Bryce, and Zhuri James becoming part of the brand’s roster, marking the first-ever family signing for Beats. LeBron James, who has been a Beats ambassador since 2008, has played a significant role in shaping the brand’s ambassador program, while Bronny James made history as its first high school athlete in 2022.

“I’m excited to join the Beats family, a brand that has long been a part of my pre-match routine as an athlete,” said Erling Haaland. “Family is important to me, and this campaign and partnership really speak to that.”

“It’s a pretty special thing to see how this partnership has grown with our family over the years,” said LeBron James. “It’s a blessing for me to share the stage with them, and with a brand that’s been part of our lives since we started this journey. Family means everything to me!”

The campaign also features Beats’ new Studio series, with LeBron and Erling wearing Beats Studio Pro, and Savannah and Alfie sporting Beats Studio Buds +. For more information on product availability, visit beatsbydre.com.

James Worthy Thinks a LeBron James Statue in Los Angeles is 'Doable'

LeBron James will return for the 21st season, adding to a legacy that Los Angeles Lakers legend James Worthy already believes is worthy of a statue outside Crypto.com Arena. TMZ Sports caught up with Big Game James and answered whether it would be a good idea.

“It depends on what he does here out,” Worthy said. “Personally, and I think he would agree, he hadn’t been here long enough. He’s won a championship. But I think his overall greatness, when you have a player like LeBron who breaks Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record in Los Angeles, does it as a Laker, then wins a championship as a Laker, you can’t argue that he could get a statue in Los Angeles. And he could get one in Cleveland as well. So, I don’t know about Miami, but bringing one to Cleveland and Los Angeles, it’s doable, in my opinion.”

LeBron James will once again wear the No. 23 jersey for the Los Angeles Lakers. Over the weekend, the decision from James was revealed, aligning with the league’s retirement of No. 6 to honor the late Bill Russell.

When the league retired the jersey, the players who already wore the number could continue if they chose. Bron has now decided to move back to his original number.

Last week, LeBron James was at the 2023 ESPYS, winning the Best Record-Breaking Performance award. On hand to introduce King James was the James Gang, his wife Savannah, and children Zhuri, Bryce, and Bronny. Bron revealed that he would not be retiring this offseason during his time on stage.

“I don’t care how many more points I score or what I can or cannot do on the floor,” James said. “The real question for me is: Can I play without cheating this game? The day I can’t give everything on the floor is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.

“Listen, you can love me and I know some of you hate me as well. But the one thing you will always do is respect me and appreciate the way I approach the game and what I’ve given to this game.”

He closed the confirmation with, “So, yeah, I still got something left. A lot left. I love you all, and thank you so much for watching this journey so far.”

LeBron James Drops Triple Double and Moves Up All-Time Assists List in Win Over Knicks

LeBron James is going crazy right now. During a trip to Madison Square Guarde to play the Knicks, King James dropped 28 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds en route to a win and becoming the fourth all-time leader in NBA assists. Need more? He inched even closer to passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the All-Time scoring list.

In taking the fourth spot on the list, King James passed up a couple of point Gods in Mark Jackson (10,334) and Steve Nash (10,335).

“It’s amazing because that’s just what I love to do and get my guys involved,” said James to ESPN. “Anytime you link with some of the greats — Mark Jackson played here, was drafted here by the Knicks, so it’s a super cool thing. And obviously, we know when Nash was [in the league]; I played against him for many, many years. His ability to pass the ball was very uncanny.”

King James reached the milestone with an assist in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Suns in Phoenix.

James recently revealed he wanted to play his last season with his son Bronny. Bronny is eligible to join the NBA in 2024.

“My last year will be played with my son. Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”

The 37-year-old sits at over 36-thousand points on his storied career and sits behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone on the NBA’s all-time regular season scoring list.
