Cash Cobain Enlists Big Sean, FloMilli And More On Loaded Single “Problem”

Cash Cobain has been dropping consistently since 2018. The rapper/producer has a much higher profile these days, however. Singles like “Fisherrr” and “Grippy” have blown up in 2024, thanks to collabs with the likes of Ice Spice and J Cole. Cobain’s upcoming album, PLAY CASH COBAIN, is consequently his most anticipated yet. Fans are excited to hear how the rapper/producer pushes his sound forward, but still maintain the fun, experimental vibe that must us fans in the first place. “Problem” is an interesting attempt to reckon with these two goals. The song is a staggering 7:40, making it the longest Cobain song by a mile.

There’s a reason for the length, though. Cash Cobain decided to bring a staggering 12 artists onto the song to make it stand out, and stand out it does. The glitchy, “problem” refrain sung by Laila! serves as the backdrop for a revolving door of guest verses. Big Sean shows up. FloMilli drops by. We also get bars from Don Q, Rob49, Fabolous, 6LACK, and Anycia. Not enough? Don’t worry, there’s more. The song has appearances from YN Jay, Luh Tyler, Kaliii, Lay Bankz, Chow Lee and Flee. We would need a dissertation to discuss everybody’s verses. That being said, Big Sean continues his string of strong features, and Flo brings lots of menace during her sixteen. It gets a little tiring as the song goes on, but such is the nature of posse cuts. Cash Cobain put together an unexpected treat for fans, and we appreciate it.

Let us know what you think of this brand-new track, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

French Montana Takes New York ‘To The Moon’ In His High-Energy New Video With Tourmates Fabolous And Fivio Foreign

The sky’s the limit for French Montana in the video for his new single “To The Moon” featuring fellow New Yorkers Fabolous and Fivio Foreign. The three Big Apple natives throw a block party for the ages in the video, complete with cars doing burnouts, dirt bikes popping wheelies, and dozens of locals vibing out to the boisterous instrumental.

The release of “To The Moon” highlights how hard-working French is — the Bronx rapper is just six months removed from the release of his last mixtape, Mac & Cheese 5, and yet, he’s already dropping new singles like there’s no tomorrow. “To The Moon” samples Jamaican dancehall titan Cutty Ranks’ 1991 staple “The Stopper (Main Attraction Remix),” and also kicks off the tour headlined by the three New York mixtape rap mainstays.

The Gotta See It To Believe It Tour begins August 1st in Wallingford, Connecticut, and runs through August 25th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can find tickets and more information here. The mini-tour wisely sticks to the Northeast, hitting mid-size venues that the artists are guaranteed to sell out — these veterans are showing the youngsters who have been trying to fill arenas how it should be done.

Rap fans who haven’t seen much of French Montana recently will get a chance to do so soon, as the Bronx native has announced the dates for his upcoming Gotta See It To Believe It Tour in August. The Moroccan rapper, who is currently promoting his mixtape Mac & Cheese 5, will be joined on tour by frequent collaborators and fellow New Yorkers Fabolous and Fivio Foreign.

French was recently pulled into all the drama surrounding Drake and the entire rap game turning against the Canadian star when Rick Ross called out Drake for allegedly sabotaging the Mac & Cheese 5 rollout by withdrawing a verse that would have helped generate some buzz for the project. “I unfollowed you ’cause you sent the motherf*ckin’ cease-and-desist to French Montana,” Ross says on his track “Champagne Moments.”

Artist presale for the tickets starts on Thursday, May 16, while the general sale begins on Friday, May 17. You can find more information on livenation.com.

Fabolous And Trey Songz Deliver Passionate Performances Over A Drake Beat On “You Did Me Wrong”

Fabolous is one of a few rappers and or hip-hop adjacent artists to be delivering tracks on a consistent basis. Bryson Tiller is also someone on this trend with “Tiller Tuesdays.” However, the veteran lyricist from New York is going by it by releasing freestyles, mainly over other popular songs. Tiller on the other hand is releasing more original material. So far, Fabolous has not skipped a beat on any of the releases, but that should be a surprise.

As we mentioned, he has been doing this at a high level for a long time. He has consistently proven he has plenty left in the tank. Fabolous’ most recent effort was his “Snooze Freestyle.” When you check out that track you will come to notice he uses the sped-up version of SZA’s viral hit from SOS. Another icon he has selected beats from is none other than Drake.

Listen To “You Did Me Wrong” By Fabolous And Trey Songz

When Drake dropped the For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition (Instrumental) he challenged the very best to write their best bars. Fabolous was the first to do so over “Evil Ways,” the second J. Cole collaborative effort. Now, for the next “Freestyle Friday” session, Fabolous is back with Trey Songz to perform over “You Broke My Heart.” Both mainstays sound great over it and it may be Fab’s best work as of right now. Go check out the video above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “You Did Me Wrong,” by Fabolous and Trey Songz? Is this the best song from this series he is doing so far, why or why not? Fabolous Shows He’s Still Got It On “Snooze Freestyle”

There is no denying how talented Fabolous is. The legendary New York-bred rapper has been doing this for decades. Questioning his abilities even in the latter stages of his career would be a major mistake. If he still has doubters he might have just shut them all down with this newest freestyle. Yes, the 46-year-old spitter is back with another installment for his series “Freestyle Fridays.” The last one that HNHH got to break down was back on January 8 with “OSHO Freestyle.” Fabolous has been doing some traveling over the past month or so and that track was inspired by his stay in Dubai.

Before that, he came by with one on Christmas Day when he took a trip down to Tulum located in Mexico. While his birthday does fall in November, he headed down there for a late gift to celebrate. All of the freestyles have been hitting for Fab, especially this new one called “Snooze.” If you are an R&B fan, this is name of an ultra-popular song from 2022 by a special artist.

That of course would be SZA. “Snooze” landed on her critically-acclaimed record SOS. Fabolous has rapped on other artist’s beats recently, so this is nothing new. He absolutely bodies the sample flip of SZA’s song and he incorporates well within the bassy and drum-heavy beat. Fab uses the sped-up version of the hit song beautifully and it makes for a great combination overall. You can check it out on YouTube now with the link above.
