Eminem Announces An Expanded Edition Of ‘The Eminem Show’ For Its 20th Anniversary
A couple of days ago, iconic rapper Eminem appeared on SNL, pulling the plug on Pete Davidson’s flow: “I would just stop. They all suck. Stop. It’s really bad,” he said. Today, he’s back with the announcement of an expanded version of his 2002 classic The Eminem Show, sharing on Twitter with the quip: “Well, if you want Shady, this is what I’ll give ya.” The tweet features an exciting teaser clip with some of the record’s songs. It arrives this Thursday, the 26th.

On the album’s 15th anniversary in 2017, he offered anniversary cassette packages. A handwritten note explained: “The concept for The Eminem Show was inspired by The Truman Show because my life felt like it was becoming a circus at that time and I felt like I was always being watched,” it read. “Basically Jim Carey wrote my album.”
Eminem also just teased a new song for the Elvis Presley biopic soundtrack. It’s a collaboration with CeeLo Green titled “The King And I,” and this information was also shared via a twitter with a teaser. The biopic arrives June 24 and has a great roster of artists: Austin Butler, Ann Nesby, Alton Mason, Chris Isaak, Denzel Curry, Doja Cat, Gary Clark Jr., Jack White, Lenesha Randolph, Jazmine Sullivan, Kacey Musgraves, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Les Greene, Måneskin, Nardo Wick, Paravi, PNAU, Rufus Thomas, Shonka Dukureh, Stevie Nicks, Swae Lee and Diplo, Tame Impala, and Yola.

Eminem Teases ‘The King And I,’ His New Song For The Elvis Presley Biopic Soundtrack
Elvis, a new biopic about, yes, Elvis Presley is on the way soon, as it’s set to open on June 24. Ahead of then, though, Doja Cat has previewed the soundtrack with “Vegas,” the song she recorded for the movie that she dropped earlier this month. Now, we have the full scope of who else is involved with the soundtrack, as the list of musicians who recorded something for the movie was shared today.
Among that group is Eminem and CeeLo Green, who came together for a new song, “The King And I.” Right around when the list of participating artists was released, Eminem shared a 15-second clip of the film that offers a snippet of the song, which seems to be based on Presley’s iconic “Jailhouse Rock” riff.

Aside from Eminem and Green, the soundtrack also features “original songs and recordings” from Presley himself, along with the film’s star, Austin Butler. Eminem Crashed Pete Davidson’s Latest ‘SNL’ Rap Parody On To Say ‘They All Suck’
Last night’s Saturday Night Live episode was a unique one for multiple reasons. Japanese Breakfast made her debut on the show with performances of “Be Sweet” and “Paprika.” Additionally, it marked the finale episode for the show’s 47th season. However, the most notable aspect of the show was the notable goodbyes that were delivered on the episode. Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, and Kyle Mooney all announced that they would not return for the show’s 48th season. With that, they all tried to go out with a bang and Davidson achieved that thanks to his latest and final SNL rap parody.
For his latest rap parody, Davidson — who was dressed as Lorne Michaels — took on Dr. Dre and Eminem’s “Forgot About Dre,” making it the third time that he’s rapped over an Eminem song. While the comedian might have had a smooth plan for his latest take on the 1999 track, Eminem himself arrived on set to cut things short. Towards the end of the video, Eminem appeared and essentially pulled the plug on everything. “I would just stop. They all suck,” Eminem said about the rap parodies. “Stop. It’s really bad.” Davidson tried to explain that he was just paying homage to the rapper, but Eminem refused to entertain him. “Pete, don’t f*cking do it again!”
Davidson heeds Eminem’s request, but not without taking his anger out on the real Lorne Michaels. Referencing Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore, Davidson yells, “Well Lorne, you blew it!”

Eminem Shares His Love For Kendrick Lamar’s New Album Through A Message To Dr. Dre
Kendrick Lamar’s newly released fifth album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is this weekend’s biggest release. It’s the rapper’s first full-length release since 2017’s Damn., and the wait for a new body of work was undoubtedly seen through the project’s first-day numbers. According to Apple Music, the album earned the most first-day streams for an album released in 2022. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is also set to debut at No. 1 on the albums chart next week. Until then, fans will continue to indulge in the project, and one of those people is Eminem, who took to Twitter to share some love for the album.
Yo @DrDre this Kendrick album is f****** ridiculous. I’m speechless.

In a rare tweet, Eminem praised Kendrick’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers with a message to his longtime friend and collaborator Dr. Dre. “Yo @DrDre this Kendrick album is f*cking ridiculous,” Eminem wrote. “I’m speechless.” Dr. Dre isn’t credited on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, but he does own Aftermath, the label that both Kendrick and Eminem are signed to. Despite this, Eminem and Kendrick only have one collaboration together, that being “Love Game” from the former’s 2013 album The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
As for Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, it arrives with 18 songs and features from Blxst, Amand Reifer, Sampha, Taylour Paige, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Kodak Black, Baby Keem, Sam Dew, Tanna Leone, and Beth Gibbons of Portishead. Eminem Acknowledges His Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction With Help From The Minions
Earlier this month, it was announced that Eminem would be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in his first year of eligibility. He joins Dolly Parton, Duran Duran, Lionel Richie, Pat Benatar, Eurythmics, and Carly Simon as artists that will be inducted through the Performers category. After the announcement, The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’s CEO Greg Harris praised Eminem during an interview with Taryn Daly of Audacy.
“For a lot of years people asked about hip hop,” he said. “He is the tenth artist to be sort of categorized that way. But you listen to his music, it is as hard-hitting and straight ahead as any metal song. It is right there. It is a chest punch with a message and with a power and with a rhythm and with a band.”

A few days after the inductees for the 2022 class were announced, we finally received a message from Eminem himself about the inclusion, and it couldn’t come in a more Eminem way. The rapper shared a cartoon image of himself standing in front of a bunch of Minions in between a message that read “The Minions congratulate Eminem. Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2022.”

Fans noticed that amongst the cast of Minions, there is a green one with an M on its chest and it looks extremely similar to an M&M (which is phonetically pronounced the same way as Eminem). As a result, many believe that Eminem is in some way involved in the upcoming Minions: Rise Of Guru movie which arrives in theatres on July 1. It’s also not the first time that Eminem has promoted the movie as he did so at the end of March with a trailer that featured “Lose Yourself” playing in the background.
